The last time he had spoken with Jasnah, Sol had just been presented with an incredible opportunity. Ashla had provided him with the Joiner aerosols secured from the Korriban attack, and Sol had, through much trial and error, synthesized a stable mixture of the foaming poison that he intended to utilize against the Killiks themselves. He didn't have a name for the product yet, but he supposed all that mattered for now was that it worked. Better still, his recent promotion to Sith Master insured that the Kel'dor had a bit more in terms of resources that he could work with, and as a result, the tools that he required to craft his chemical weapon had practically been provided for him, though Sol had utilized his contacts in Aspiretech to procure the chemical ingredients themselves.

Now, scattered about in various large, sealed vials that appeared to be empty at first glance, the Kel'dor had his weapon. Invisible, scentless aerosols that, with the help of the Killik pheromones' provided to the Kel'dor, would react violently once inhaled by the Insectoids themselves, reacting in what was akin to the swift and violent expansion of thick, gooey foam within the host. As result, the Killik's breathing spiracles would be utterly clogged, resulting in a quick death via suffocation. Of course... the only real way to know that the weapon worked was to test it, and he'd need actual live Killiks for that. For now, he would settle for testing the mixture on various other sentients to insure that it wouldn't cause them harm. Truthfully, nothing in the chemical compound was poisonous to people, but the addition of the Killik DNA itself might prove to be troublesome. Time would tell.
