Okay, so basically in developing my Count of Serenno character as a collector of Jedi artifacts I cooked up an idea that could bring about a few threads and interaction for some Jedi and Dark Jedi. Of course it's not fully fleshed out just yet, but I need a few characters who aren't Jedi or Dark jedi to be involved as well.
The basic premise is this:
Count of Serenno, Arathilion Icquilu (the alter ego of Nescius Caedo, High Lord of the Bogan) has come across a piece of an ancient Jedi parchment. Although what it specifically is has yet to be deciphered, he has recognised it's significance. For a number of reasons, he has presented this fragment to the Grandmaster of the Jedi as a gift. Nescius has already realised that to understand the secrets of the text, he must find the remaining fragments of the parchment. As they begin to decipher it, soon the Jedi will realise this as well.
My basic idea is that the threads will span the search for the remaining pieces and then, once the final product is put together, the acquisition of the secrets it holds. Said secret is actually a map to an ancient Dark jedi location, not that anyone knows this IC.
From an OOC perspective, I'll govern how much information has been deciphered at a given point. I'll probably put it in this post towards the bottom so everyone who joins in clearly knows what they can know IC at a given point.
The search will span 3 more pieces of the parchment, each will have it's own thread, and a couple of Jedi and Dark jedi will be up against each other to retrieve it. There might even be a third party enemy in a given scenario, and who knows, in desparate times we might see a very brief instance of both Jedi and Dark Jedi working together to get the final result. All in all I'll probably go for 2 Jedi vs 2 Dark Jedi for each piece, so that's 6 of each in total. This is an ideal thing for padawans and their masters to go on, or even a team of padawans. I'm going to say no characters of Master level being involved in the search, Knights/Crusaders and Padawans/Acolytes only. Ru and I will RP to further the deciphering etc, but not in the actual searching.
I'm also open to any independents who might have a reason for going after a given piece (to sell, for example, or because they're a collector), or for any characters who might already own it (so the Jedi and Dark jedi are trying to steal it).
