DESCRIPTION​

The Skyblade-330 is a high-powered repulsorcraft manufactured by Caelli-Merced; it is the quintessential swoop bike. Swoops differ from standard jumpspeeders by having extremely powerful engines and high service ceilings; in effect, they are one-being airspeeders, stripped down to an engine, a set of controls and a seat. They are fast, require skill to effectively control and are extremely dangerous, and the Skyblade-330 is no exception to any of these criteria.

The Skyblade-330 is 4.62 meters in length, with space for a pilot and up to 20 kilograms of cargo. The Skyblade does not possess any armament, but can break 700 kph, and has a service ceiling of about 1,000 meters. Like most swoops, Skyblades do not possess any safety harnesses or mechanical limiters for maneuverability or engine power; it is possible to push the machine until it breaks, and it takes a skilled pilot to determine just where the limits are without crossing them catastrophically.

Swoops like the Skyblade-330 are popular with fringers and outlaws, and are used as both personal transportation and combat craft.
