This week, Nexus, the leader of the Imperial Knights, and I have been discussing an Imperial Knight's Quest that will involve our forces at Yinchorr. This event will be split into two threads, detailed below.
Either one of these, or both, could lead to a battle between Imperial forces and the Imperial Knights. It is important to stress that this is not the first battle of the war. The war in this timeline is the Alliance/Jedi vs the Empire, and the Chiss vs the Mandalorians, with the Imperial Knights using guerrilla warfare on the Empire. Despite this, this will be one of the events leading up to the war, so it is still very important.
With that said, this thread's purpose is to be a sign up. The event itself will either take place tomorrow or Sunday sometime, but definitely this weekend. The following slots are open;
The Imperial Knights will also have three PCs. Nexus and I will moderate our sides to make sure things run smoothly, with an impartial third party (as I said, most likely an RP admin) making judgments where we have disagreements.
All-in-all, this is meant to be a fun event to kick off the timeline for our two factions, so don't worry so much about winning; focus on having fun and writing a really good story that makes sense.
Sign ups need to have the following form;
1) Character name
2) Link to profile
3) Rank
Tomorrow morning, I'll sort through the applications and pick three, and then will post an announcement thread to inform you all who was picked out of those signed up. Happy RPing everyone!
The first thread would be an ally of the Knights infiltrating the building disguised as an Imperial and opening a 'backdoor' for the two Knights, disguised as Sith, to come in. Then they'd plant the explosives. Of course, if our guys discover what they're up to, the can react properly. A possible fire-fight could happen at some point (and really should happen) and force a hasty retreat. Whether or not the explosives go off or are disarmed will be up to the quality of each side's RPing as decided by an impartial third party, most likely an RP admin.
In thread two, if the Knights survive, escape, or succeed, they will escape and head for the abandoned Imperial Guard facility to complete their quest. The remaining Imperial forces will chase them down, leading to a skirmish in the deserts of Yinchorr.
