Skeith Centrality

"Brothers, Sisters, listen to me. We are living in a time where Force users are making a difference in the course of the galaxy. Instead of uniting as one for a pure and beautiful world, Force users squable amongst themselves. We all know them. The Sith. And the... Jedi. They could work together, bring prosperity to the universe, but instead wish to fight against each other for control of the galaxy. The Jedi have the Galactic Alliance have the Jedi in their fingers, so propaganda against the Sith continues. Well, here today I bring you the truth. The truth about the 'guardians of peace'.

"Victors of wars write the history, as the saying goes. Well I, Skeith Scrivinir, head writer, come to bring you the truth. The Jedi are not are not the fairy tale knights in shining armor as they pretend to be. In truth, they manipulate the very government they pretend to protect, whether it be a republic or alliance, to satisfy their own agendas and power. They pretend to be mediators. Bah, we can do things ourselves. But noooo, they have to intervene and make us do what they deem 'fair'. They brand us with their own sense of justice. Tell me, what is justice? Justice is different between cultures and civilizations. Why must they force their version of justice against ours?

"The Jedi have been around a long time, manipulating the government. Do you know why the Jedi have a policy of not seeking political office? It's because they don't want their manipulation to be obvious. And why would they even need to, when they have the government in their clutches?

"Not all Jedi share these heinous ambitions, ambitions they claim lead to the dark side. Some are just followers of this faith, this religion called Jedi. We must acknowledge that amongst the heretical Jedi, there are brothers and sisters in their midst. We must reach out to them. Show them the light. Let them leave.

"History has shown that not all Jedi have agreed with these practices. Millenia ago, during the Alsakan Crisis, a group of Jedi decided it was time to do something and stand up for the Old Republic instead of just manipulating them. They branched off from the Jedi and formed the Ospion Guardians. Why was this needed? Because former Grandmaster Banik Kelrada had assassinated the Alsakans' holy leader.

The Alsakan Crisis eventually ended, but the fighting did not. The Jedi deemed the Ospion Guardians a thread and began purges. The Ospion Guardians went into hiding and eventually formed Dark Jedi of the Bogan. However, the Dark Jedi of the Bogan only remained pure for twenty years. The murderous Kelrada killed the Bogan leader and named himself the new master. Through him, he manipulated the Bogan into aiding the Hutt Empire into waging war with the Old Republic. After all, heroes of justice are most needed when war is fought. During the Second Hutt War, Kelrada screwed the Order of the Bogan over though paid for his crimes with his death, almost resulting in a war between the Hutts and Bogan.

While the Bogan eventually died out, a cadre of Jedi left the Jedi Order and found their way to Korriban many years later. Here, they learned the teachings of the Sith. Now, Jedi propaganda has declared that Ashla, the light side of the Force, is the way of good, while Bogan, the dark side of the Force, is the way of villainry, of evil. All lies. Light and dark do not equate to good and evil. It is the users, the teachings, that decide on ill intent or not. One can easily be evil using Ashla as much as good can be done with Bogan. The Sith taught the exiled Jedi that.

"However, the Jedi have made the Ashla their tropaion, as they want people to believe that Ashla equates to good. If they're good, then there must be villains. And who do you support and depend on to eliminate villains, enemies? Why the 'heroes of justice', of course. The Jedi wanted to keep that role, as to be depended on. With that dependency, their totalitarianistic reign would flourish. When they discovered that the exiled Jedi had found teachings of Bogan, of the Sith, they decided to make the Sith their enemy. Sith became the boogeymen of the universe, the bane of galaxy.

"Are the Sith evil? Time has shown that all Force institutions have moments of stumbles into the wake of evil. However, that does not mean that all Sith are evil.

"Legend has it that the exiled Jedi-turned-Sith turned on each other and killed most of themselves. This is a lie. The Jedi discovered the Sith's haven and infiltrated the place, assassinating few people. This turned to paranoia amongst the Sith. All caused by the Jedi's ambitions of keeping a monopoly on the Force, for if another faction were to rise, they may lose their power.

"Not all were oblivious to the schemes of the Jedi. The Sith had managed to stay alive. They contacted the Mandalorians and revealed that the Jedi weren't as benevolent and seekers of justice that they pretended to be; that the Jedi were in fact cowards. Mandalorians tend to look down on cowards, believing they're as good as dead. The Sith didn't manipulate the Mandalorians, they only revealed the truth.

"For those who do not know, the Mandalorians waged a bloody war on the Old Republic, adequetely dubbed the Mandalorian War. The Jedi were unprepared, as other wars had been orchestrated by the Jedi so that the Jedi could be seen as heroes in wars. They had no idea what to do and thus most stayed out of the war; later, they would claim it was to be ready for the Sith threat to come. Liars.

"Not all the Jedi forsake the Old Republic. Two Jedi, Revan and Alek, discovered the true intent of the Jedi and abandoned the Jedi's stance. They worked with the Republic forces, massing Jedi to their cause, nicknaming them Revanchists. Revan and Alek would help win the war for the Republic.

"Revan and Alek wanted to know the truth. The truth of the Jedi and the truth of the Sith. They disappeared, researching as much as they could of the Sith. This research brought them to the Star Forge, a weapon that could dethrone the Jedi from their tyrannical throne. Building an army, they decided to wage war on the Jedi. The Jedi fought back, but were slowly losing.

"Then the Jedi had an idea. Revan was a brilliant strategist. Why not use him against this own creation. Led by Jedi Bastilla Shan, the Jedi used a Republic fleet to ambush Revan and Alek, then known as Malak. Once Revan had discovered that the Jedi had planned to brainwash him into an obedient slave of the Jedi, Revan ordered Malak to destroy his ship. Jedi will tell you that Malak betrayed his master. No, Revan wanted his ship destroyed, not wanting to be used as a tool against his bretheren.

"However, Revan and Malak's desperate attempt failed. Bastilla captured Revan and survived the ploy. The Jedi brainwashed Revan. This 'redeemed' Revan was used to cripple the Sith and slay Malak. When Revan was no longer useful, he mysteriously disappeared.

"Now, Revan's teacher, Kreia, was suspicious of this and began her own journey in search of the truth. She encountered two Sith: Sion and Nihilus. The three of them formed the Sith Triumvirate and began a holy crusade against the Jedi. They would have succeeded, had Kreia been thwarted in her attempt to infiltrate the Jedi and an exile killed all three of them.

"Sith empires raised and fell, always being thwarted by the Jedi. The Jedi had too strong of a hold on the Republic, and thus could always use the Republic as pawns to crush all opposition. That's when a Sith had a brilliant idea. This Sith had a grand plan that would use the Jedi's schemes against them and bring on a new era. His name was Palpatine.

"Palpatine first wanted to test whether the Jedi would help a small planet from invasion, so he instrumented the Trade Federation into invading Naboo. The Jedi were unprepared, so had little help to send. They sent only two Jedi to help an entire planet. I'm not sure if this is a good example of ignorance or arrogance.

"Jedi will have you believe that they succeeded in liberating Naboo. They didn't do anything! People died protecting their planet and what did the Jedi do? Kill only one person, losing one of their own in the process. The Trade Federation was thwarted by the Queen of Naboo, Padme Amidala, who captured the Trade Federation's leader and a boy destroyed the Trade Federation's base. You know, the Jedi sure like taking credit for other people's hard work.

"Palpatine knew that liberating the galaxy of the Jedi's clutches could not be done one planet at a time. Using the Naboo fiasco to his advantage, he got Supreme Chancellor Valorum voted out of office and got himself elected the new Supreme Chancellor.

"Palpatine moved to his next step. Over the next few years, he had the Trade Federation grow the footwork for a secession of several planets, invoking a war, as the Jedi would never allow entire systems to leave their clutches. It is a good thing to, as it was eventually discovered that a Jedi Master had ordered the creation of a clone army.

"Two Jedi, along with Amidala, went to Geonosis in hopes of finding the key figures to an 'evil plot'. The figurehead of the seperatist movement, Count Dooku, tried to show the Jedi the truth, but the Jedi were too far brainwashed to be saved. When the Jedi and Amidala were to be executed, the Jedi discovered the oppurtune chance to reveal the existence of the clone army. They invaded Geonosis just to save three trespassers who would have been put to justice in accordance to the planet's laws, not the Jedi's.

"The Clone War had begun. Jedi led legions into battle, conquering planets that wanted to be free from Jedi control. However, that's not the most devious part of this. It is my displeasure to reveal this fact that I discovered after long searches. The Death Star was made by the Jedi. During the war, the Jedi stole parts needed for the doomsday machine, such as an experimental power cell from Mygeeto. Palpatine was worried when his contacts in the seperatists learned of this. Palpatine confronted the Jedi privately and demanded the plans for the Death Star be brought to him so that they would be put into the Republic's safe hands. After being threatened to be labeled as enemies, Jedi Master Roron Corobb relinquished the plans. Shortly after, Palpatine had smuggled in seperatist general Grievous to take the plans and hide them, so that the Jedi could never use them. However, Roron and five other Jedi had returned to retrieve the plans, since Yoda had been displeased for its forfeit. The Jedi found it an oppurtune time to assassinate Palpatine, making it look like Grievous did it. Grievous defend himself and whisked Palpatine to safety aboard his flagship, the Invisible Hand. However, the Jedi couldn't risk Palpatine revealing all that he knew, so a battle ensued in an attempt to 'rescue' Palpatine. Aboard the Invisible Hand, the two Jedi who had trespassed on Geonosis years ago killed Dooku and rescued Palpatine, due to Anakin Skywalker's friendship to the Supreme Chancellor.

"Palpatine realized that Anakin was not like the other Jedi. Orchestrating the end of the Clone War, intel of Grievous's location after the general had fled Coruscant was brought to the Jedi. The Jedi sent Anakin's master to eliminate Grievous, which he did. However, with the war over, the Jedi no longer needed a Supreme Chancellor who was suspicious about the Jedi. They attempted to assassinate them, but Anakin saved Palpatine. Palpatine had hoped to reform the Jedi but realized it was no use. He ordered the clone army to execute all Jedi. The second Jedi purge had begun. Anakin was given amnesty, having newly become the Sith Lord Darth Vader.

"The Republic was too dependent on the Jedi, so Palpatine seeked to reform the Republic itself. With consent of the Senate, the Republic was reformed into the Galactic Empire. However, two Jedi, Grandmaster Yoda and Anakin's teacher, Obi-wan Kenobi, tried one last attempt for power. Yoda tried to kill Palpatine but failed. Kenobi tried to kill his former student but only managed injuring Anakin. The Jedi fled into oblivion, too weak and scared to take on the Sith, bringers of peace. And peace did come. For over a decade the Empire prospered.

"However, the Jedi were patient. They found their chance with Vader's apprentice. The Jedi corrupted the apprentice and used him to gather support from Senators. Three Senators were brainwashed into forming a cabal, the Rebel Alliance. Just like time and time again, the Jedi did whatever was necessary to stop the Sith and attempt to reclaim their glory. Using a copy of the plans to the Death Star, the Rebel Alliance managed to destroy the Death Star originally mandated by the Jedi years ago. Aboard a second Death Star, Jedi slew Palpatine and Vader. In attempt to slander the Sith, and 'redeem' Jedi Luke Skywalker's father, Anakin, they lied that it was Vader who vanquished Palpatine. Strange how Vader died before being able to give his testimony.

"Now, yes, warlords struggled to gain power in the Empire, splitting it up and leading the empire to crumble. This has shown that the ones most suitable to lead are Force users, not greedy non-Force users. Those not chosen, suitable, are not fit to lead. However, that does not mean all non-Force users are useless. Time has shown many brave men and women who have a potential to lead. Look at Thrawn. Grand Admiral Thrawn, a brilliant stategist of the noble Chiss, waited until after most of the squabbling had ended before trying to unite the Emprie again. He might have succeeded, had the Jedi not manipulated an alien species into assassinating Thrawn.

"Luke Skywalker would do opposite of what his father had done. Instead of purging Jedi, he purged Sith, exterminating Sith when the new Jedi Order found any. Luke Skywalker and his sister, Leia Organa Solo, would recreate the grasp the Jedi once had over the government. One person would fight against this. Her name was Natasi Daala. Having aided in the fight against corrupt Imperials, she became the Chief of State. Under her, she mandated a reform in Jedi policies, wanting the Jedi to be under the Galactic Alliance's control, rather than the other way around. She even banished Jedi Master Luke Skywalker to weaken the Jedi's clutches. This confrontation led to many Jedi into showing their colors. It was a mess. In attempt to cover it up, the Jedi concucted stories that a mysterious psychosis, an... illness, had befallen these Jedi.

"Daala's campain failed and the Jedi's reign continued. Darth Krayt tried to dethrone the Jedi but as toppled too. Now we come to a turning point in history. The Sith now control the Empire once more, an empire that had been reunited by Jagged Fel but corrupted by his mistress, Jaina Solo. The galliant and noble Chiss have discovered the truth and have sided with the Sith Empire. Savage Mandalorians and traitorous Imperial Knights, originally designed to keep the Emperor under the Jedi's thumb, along with the Galactic Alliance, the slave of the Jedi, are all the Jedi's tool in a holy crusade the Jedi will spark, probably making it look like the Sith fired first, in attempt to finally exterminate the greatest threat to the Jedi totalitarian supremacy: the Sith.

"It is why we, the Skeith Centrality, the Skeith Brotherhood, seek to learn both the ways of the Ashla and Bogan. Only by learned both the light and dark sides of the Force may we find perfect harmony in which the galaxy may be led into an utopia of peace, with no fighting, no manipulating. The Force users are the key to paradise, and it is our job to teach them the necessary tools for achievement."

Overview

The Skeith Centrality, sometimes known as the Skeith Brotherhood, is a cult-like Force Order centered in the Centrality. The brotherhood claims its goal is to teach the ways of the Bogan (dark side of the Force) and Ashla (light side of the Force) equally but that is not entirely true. The Skeith Centrality is a front for a Sith operation run by Sith Alchemist Geist Weiss to secretly recruit Force users to the Sith's way of thinking, possibly gaining new members for the Sith, while belittling the Jedi, claiming it's only critical analysis. Geist Weiss' goal is to spread Skeith throughout the Galactic Alliance, straying new blood from joining the Jedi Order and corrupting them to the Dark Side. However, to keep appearance of a grey Force faction, the Skeith Brotherhood does teach the ways of the Ashla too. The Skeith Centrality is also being used as a tool to try to manipulate the Centrality.

Hiearchy

Skeith Scivinir

The Skeith Scivinir is the leader of the cultish Skeith Brotherhood, serving as a religious and philosophical leader. The Scivinir is supposedly elected by a democratic vote, but the voting is rigged, thus ensuring the Scivinir's reign. Scivinir: Christian Shepherd.

Skeith Sovereigns

Due to the Skeith Scivinir rarely appearing in public, four individuals, known as the Skeith Sovereigns, form a ruling council over the brotherhood. There are four titles: Sovereign of the North (high admiral), Sovereign of the West (supreme commander), Sovereign of the East (chief instructor), and Sovereign of the South (in charge of R&D); the Scivinir is sometimes known as the Sovereign of the Centrality. The Sovereigns are chosen by the Scivinir.

Juggernaut

Juggernauts were master-level members of the Skeith Centrality, serving as instructors and leaders of Skeith operations.

Crusader
Crusaders were knight-level members of the Skeith Centrality who specialized in battle. Crusaders were the backbone of Skeith's Force using military.

Apostle

Apostles were normal knight-level members of the Skeith Centrality that decided to persue their studies over serving in the military. Most students decidded whether to specialize in Bogan or Ashla here.

Acolyte

Acolytes were Padawan-level members of the Skeith Centrality. This rank covered new students to the Skeith Centrality and was the default ranks for Force users who left their orders to join the Skeith, though would quickly be assigned a respective rank per ordanance of their skill. Acolyte(s): Xanthus.

Disciple

Disciple was a generic term used for non-Force users in the Skeith Centrality. Disciple did not define rank, as high ranking military officers could outrank Crusaders, Apostles and Acolytes.

Base

I_mother_earth_by_moonxels.jpg

Skeith operates in many locations, with many without official based. However, the headquarters of the Skeith Centrality is located on Dilonexa XXIII, a prairie planet. The grand academy and temple is known as the Sanctuary.

Fleet

The Skeith Centrality officially only has two ships: Strident-class Star Destroyer Peacekeeper and Trireme-class corvette Oathkeeper.

There were some errors in the speech. They've been corrected.
