For those who are unaware...

The Sith are paying a visit to the Galactic Senate. I can't find the OOC so this'll only be enlightening as it unfolds.

One might think that giving political acknowledgement and a mass-media outlet to the voice of your enemy was a bad idea. Lulz. Silly Senate. :p

But, I suppose if the Sith Brotherhood can be worked into being just another nation state, with acknowledgement to their right to sovereignty and jurisdiction? Then the Senate can begin treaty agreements towards cooperation and the cohabitation of the universe with them. Then perhaps years into the future it will just become a competition of economies and cultural influence, rather than a physical war for territory and religious superiority. Oh well. I do suppose that there are some models of a galactic Sith regime that don't require complete control over all of existence to function sustainably.

Welp. I suppose if the bad guys decide to pursue a new galactic model of peaceful cohabitation, trade, communication, and economic and cultural integration? The Jedi will have no choice but to gleefully play along. Man. There goes our Jihad. Poo. :(
