Temple of the Sith on Yavin IV

stpl.png

One of the most ancient structures established by the ancient Sith species and original Sith Empire, the Temple of the Sith on Yavin IV was an age-old sanctuary of the Dark Side built by the legendary Massassi Warriors of one of Naga Sadow, one of the greatest of the ancient Sith Lords the galaxy had ever known. Although inhabited by the Jedi Order for a time, the moon of Yavin IV had always been one of the Sith's most primal worlds, and indeed, the ancient Massassi Temples have always stood out in the galaxy as among the most potent beacons of the manifestation of the Dark Side of the Force.

During the Yuuzhan Vong War nearly one thousands years prior, many of the ancient Massassi Temples were razed and completely decimated by the extragalactic invaders. Nevertheless, after countless generations, the currently established Sith Order had managed to find one of the few remaining Massassi Temples, and firmly established the dominant presence of the Sith Lords there once more. The Temple of the Sith on Yavin IV serves as a training area for the extraordinarily talented Sith Crusaders and Sith Acolytes who seek to understand and master the most coveted and arcane of the Sith magic arts, following the path of the Sith Sorcerer.

As potential masters of the Dark Side of the Force and Sith alchemy, the Sith Sorcerers are arguably the most feared practitioners of the Dark Side and ranks of the Sith, whose powers lie in extravagant Sith spells, cunning manipulation on an unrivaled scale, and political dominance over others, the Sith Sorcerers fill the ranks of many of the most gifted of the Sith, and is their place of learning is overseen by the Sith Order's foremost master of the arcane arts of the Dark Side, the High Arcanist of the Sith.
