Grima was strolling through the Empress' garden on Korriban trying to determine why she had never seen the beauty in the flowers as the Empress had. The flowers were under the protection of the Empress and any who touched them did so on the pain of death. Grima had no desire to touch them for she knew in her arcane studies certain flowers throughout the galaxy were poisionous and could kill by simply touching them. But she did it find it strangely calming to walk through the garden. She kept her eyes on the several Acolytes walking to and from classes or training sessions and wondered how many would survive to become poweful Sith and how many would die from their failings to grasp the nature of the Sith. Grima knew her Apprentice, Avreet, was shaping up to become a very powerful Sith, a rare feat in her eyes since he was a Mon Calamari and many of his own species suffered under Darth Krayt's quest to bestow genocide on his species. Then there was the pale skinned female, Yr'il Ber'ong, who had showed the early signs that she could become a dangerus Sith in her own way.

Grima stopped in the middle of the gardens for she felt the presence of her Apprentice and he was close. She also felt the Force signature of the white haired girl and Grima turned around to see them in the far distance exiting the main doors from the Korriban Temple. They were moving toward her with urgency and wondered who she would have to kill for putting her Apprentice and this young girl in such a state. Grima looked around and saw no other Sith trying to cut them off or follow them. So what was the urgency?

Grima began to walk slowly toward them and chosen to let them speak to her openly rather than invade their minds. She always enjoyed her Apprentice's company because he was both wise and understanding. He knew what she expected from him and he had never failed her once. For the other Acolyte, it was a different story. Grima had punished her for her insolence of bowing before Grima and though the girl had cause to hate her, Grima found that she did not. Instead, she had chosen to learn from her when her own Master was busy with Sith business. Grima understood that sometimes a Sith Master had to go out on a mission without their Apprentice and that frustrated her. She believed that if an Apprentice was going to learn and grow they needed to be with their Masters at all times. Grima did that with Avreet but the war had interferred with his training but he managed to keep his training on course in her absence. Another great sign he was learning.

The two Acolytes had reached Grima and Grima raised her hand to halt them from speaking. "Avreet....Yr'il, catch your breaths then tell me what the disaster is." Grima knew something was amiss for she did not need the Force to see on their faces something was wrong.

Not long after the last class they shared together, Yr'il and Avreet began spending more time training together. Both were completely different specializations, an assassin and a warrior, but their differences allowed them to gain more experience, learning from each other's ideas and tactics. It had proven to be a very effective way of training, giving Avreet an idea of how warriors worked, while Yr'il got to know some of the young assassin's tricks of surprising his targets. Many times after learning something from their Masters, the two met and shared their experience, practicing their new powers and learning how to defend against them. After one such training session, the two Acolytes walked through the Temple to take a look at the mission boards. Other Acolytes gave them a look, a thing that could be understood in the Sith Order. Individualism was above everything and selfishness was more common than not, so seeing two Acolytes working together was something unusual.

The mission board seemed to have nothing interesting, but something caught Avreet's eye. One of the missions looked to be taking place on Shili. A homeworld of Togrutas, including his Master, Grima. Avreet felt he had to take it, so he signed up himself, Yr'il, and Grima before reading the details and running out of the Temple to speak to the Sith Master. She never talked about her homeworld to him, but he guessed she'd like to go there since if for nothing else, they had a mission to do there now. The Togruta Sith Master has been walking outside in a garden, so both young Acolytes ran towards her to tell her the news. Eagerness pumped in his veins, as he took it as an opportunity to learn more about Togrutas and his Master's homeworld and time before she became a Sith. Getting closer, Avreet slowed down his pace and took a few breaths so he could adress his Master properly and say all he had to say in one go, not pausing to take a breath.

As always, Avreet's right hand hit his left shoulder and he slightly bowed before speaking to his teacher. "Master Volitu, a group of Alliance soldiers apparently refused to accept the war has ended and they tried to hide and continue their fight. They have fled to Shili where they killed some villagers who refused to help them in their fight against the Empire. Two teams of Imperial soldiers were sent to deal with them, but it seems the Alliance dogs are from the special forces or something, because they knew how to effectively hide in a forest and plant many traps, reducing the number of our soldiers. The locals refused to go into the forest and find the traps despite their great hunting skills, as they believe there is a cursed ruin in said forest. It is suspected there might be something of importance to the Sith cause, so the mission was forwarded to our Order." The Mon Calamari said, making sure to describe the mission to his Master. He wondered if she'd be happy at the opportunity to visit her homeworld.

Avreet and I were becoming close freinds which was an odd situation amongst the Sith Order. Sith Acolytes had been taught to never trust other Acolytes for they would find a way to gain prestige off you, mainly by killing you showing how weak you were but for Avreet and myself, it started off as an alliance to help one another grow in the dark side but that alliance turned to friendship. I did not care what the others said and when I asked my own Master about it she simply smiled and warned me to be careful but it would be wise to have someone watching my back. So we trained together and exchanged knowledge of different Force powers that attracted to us.

As we walked through the Temple, Avreet led us to the mission board to see if there was anything worth accepting. Avreet's eyes went wide when he read one of the missions. He asked me if I was interested and I said I was but I did not know what the mission was. So as Avreet signed the three of us up, I saw the planet was Shilli and I remember hearing about that planet in my studies. Then it occured to me, it was the Togruta homeworld and I thought of Master Volitu. So Avreet and I ran through the Temple looking for the Sith Master and after a short search, we spotted her walking through the garden that was supposed to be the Empresses pride and joy. We hastened our pace to catch up to her.

I saw her look at us coming toward her and hoped she was not one of those paranoid Siths, the ones that think they are so powerful that every Sith wants to claim the victory of killing them. We stopped a few paces from her and Avreet saluted her. "Master Volitu," I said nodding my head slightly in a sign of respect. I had learned first hand she hated knee bending. Avreet explained the mission to her and I listend as he spoke with passion while keeping my eyes on the other Acolytes in the area. I trusted Avreet and though I barely knew Master Grima Volitu, I began to trust her but the others in the area I was skeptical about.

I saw a Twi'lek Acolyte walk toward us and I quickly cut her from her path to Master Grima. I knew this Twi'lek was seeking Master Volitu's advice but I would not allow the Sith Master to be distracted. I noticed her face change at the mention of her homeworld and like me, perhaps she had scars or bad memories of that place. Or perhaps there was unfinished business she needed settled. So the Twi'lek, feeling angry slowly reached for her lightsaber but I was quicker. In a blink of an eye I had Serpent's Breath out, ignited, and the pointe of the blade inches from the face of the green skinned Tw'lek. She scoffed at me then turned away and left. I knew I made an enemy but I welcomed the challenge. My Master once told me that in order to understand your growth in the Force and the skill with the lightsaber, you needed to test yourself against others. So one day I may have to fight and kill this Twi'lek.

I powered down my weapon, clipped it back on my side, and looked at Master Volitu and nodded my head.

Grima's anger began to rise when she heard about the horrors being inflicted on her homeworld then she thought about the revenge she had promised her dead family after they had been killed directly and indirectly by the Jedi and by the corrupted officials who ran the city of Corvala, the capital city of Shili. Then to her amusment she watched the pal skin Sith, Yr'il, deal with a meddling Twi'lek which Grima was mentally thankful for. She had no time for giving advice with her people in danger from the Alliance scum. She tapped a single finger to her lips, a sign she was in deep thought.

"This cannot continue. The Togrutas, my people, are now under the protection of the Imperial Hierachy and it is the duty of such, along with the Sith Order, to protect our newly acuired citizens. We should not abandon them like the Jedi and the Galactic Alliance had done, to do so we will not hold on to our new planets and rebellions will sweep across the galaxy," Grima spoke with a strong conviction in her voice. See looked at Avreet then to Yr'il and sensed they wanted to help with whatever she was planning.

"Yr'il, I cannnot ask you to come nor will I order you to assist me so the choice is yours to make. Avreet, my dear Apprentice, though you are bound to me by law of Master-Apprentice, I cannot ask you to forsake you training with you so close to promotion but I know you well Apprentice so I will play on your sense of morality, your sense of right and wrong and ask you to join me on this quest to protect the great Imperial citizens from these horrific atrocities. We must move quickly before more lives are lost. Meet me at the docking bay in 30 minutes."

Grima turned from the two Acolytes moving toward her temporary quarters. She had memorized the names of those responsible for the deaths of her family it had been some time since she knew their faces. She would download the faces that haunted her for so long as a child and a youth and she would give back to them what they had given her for so long ago, pain and suffering. Then she would kill them not out of revenge or satisfaction, she would kill them because she knew their corruption was absolute and if they were allowed to survive then thier corruption would spread like a plague through the Imperial government that was trying to establish itself. She was cleansing the corruption before it could plant its seeds and be allowed to blossom.

The Sith Master has been informed by the Mon Calamari and Yr'il made sure the Togruta wouldn't be disturbed. He heard Yr'il's lightsaber igniting, but he didn't even turn around to look what happened. The white haired human was much better at direct confrontations and lightsaber combat than him, surely she could handle anything. Grima thought for a moment and Avreet intently watched the beautiful dark mistress without a flinch. When she spoke, the boy nodded a few times, displaying he agreed with her. The citizens of the Empire had to be completely safe from any kind of danger. The pirates have already felt the just fist of the Empire and it's people, now it was time for any Alliance remnants to learn the lesson too.

Grima surprised him when she actually said he didn't have to fulfil his role as an apprentice and instead used his sense of justice to bring him along. Avreet would have gone with her anyway. First, his duty was to assist his Master in any way possible. Second, innocent Imperial citizens were in danger and he had to protect them to properly serve the Empire. Third, one could kill only so much pirates before it got repetitive and boring. Really, after killing exactly 573 pirates who thought they were above the law and could plunder the Imperial space, raiding abandoned and damaged military vessels, pirate hunting hardly gave him anything new. Avreet needed more field experience, and since he couldn't use his skills to infiltrate the Jedi Order anymore or go to an operation to sabotage or steal the Alliance's ships, he desperately wanted to escape from the Temple and practice his abilities in a real combat against trained opponents.

"I shall fulfil my duty as a Sith and come with you, Master,"
the teenager said and upon being thirty minutes, he went to his quarters to pack a few things. Naturally, his armor. If he had learned something, it was to always wear an armor when going to missions. His black hooded cloak might also find it's use, just as two small medpacs he clipped to his belt. Everything else he needed was already there, like his lightsabers and a comlink. After briefly checking if his cybernetic eye functioned correctly and had a good time of response, then looked on the Holonet to find more information about the planet and Togrutas.

One would have thought that being an apprentice of a Togruta meant Avreet knew all about the species. Wrong. His Master may have been a Togruta, but she was also a Sith and therefore wasn't a typical member of the species. She wore boots, for example, while the Holonet said most Togrutas refused to do so, believing in some connection with earth. It looked like the race was mostly untouched by the rest of the galaxy in terms of their customs, but that was going to change with the arrival of the Empire.

Avreet continued reading some info about the predators living on the planet for a while before turning the Holonet off and leaving the room, locking the door behind himself and going to the docking bay. He didn't have his own ship yet, but he knew his Master posessed one. Perhaps they were going to travel by it? Ready for anything, the teenager arrived at the docking bay.

"Thank you Master Volitu for allowing me to make the choice and I will choose to assist you. But is it not the duty of the Sith to protect the citizens of the Empire? Besides I need to familiarize myself with not only the galaxy but the various species that live with us humans," I said letting a small smlie play out on my lips. Master Volitu was the first and only member of her species that I ever saw and I found myself intrigued by going to her homeworld and perhaps learn of the Togruta's customs, rituals, and religious beliefs. So Grima told us to meet with her in thirty minutes so I took the time to download what I could of her homeworld from the Sith Archives so I would not be completley ignorant of the planet.

After downloading what I could to my data pad, I returned the small device back to my red and black utility belt and left the archives. I noticed it was turning to night rather quickly so I rushed to my quarters to grab a few things which meant I had to cross from one building to another. I was halfway across the red sandy path when I felt a tremor in the Force. I stopped abruptly turned around and saw the green-skinned Twi'lek walking toward me as she ignited her lightsaber. "I do not have time to teach you manners Twi'lek so unless you truly want to die this evening, then I will oblige you. But I do not wish to kill you," I said meaning it. I had no time to deal with this minor nuisance but Fate had other plans for me.

The Twi'lek yelled or howled or screeched something at me then she charged me, twirling her blade on her left side. I pulled Serpent's Breath from my side and ignited him. I did not know which form to use so I moved into Ataru. I lept over her as she blindly struck at me and upon landing, I used the Force and shoved her back away from me. She hissed and attacked. I moved into the Djem so form blocking and parrying her attacks while observing both her foot work and her hips. This Twi'lek was not as good with the lightsaber than I was but her hatred for me would make her dangerous. But I had to finish this fight quickly like my Master taught me plus I had a ship to catch.

I side stepped a poorly timed strike from her and turned my defense into an offense. I struck right, then left knocking her lightsaber from her hand leaving her unarmed. She stared at me as I stared at her. I knew it was cowardly to kill an unarmed opponet but it was also foolish to leave a rival alive when you have the oppurtunity to kill them as my Master once told me. This Twi'lek was indeed a rival. So I decided to kill her. I used the Force and tossed her back her lightsaber. As she reached out to catch it, I unleashed a powerful blue energy from fingertips, Force Lightning, that quickly engulfed her knocking her to the ground throwing her body into a fit of convulsive tremors. I slowly walked toward her pouring my anger into the destructive Force power until at last she stopped moving and I felt her death in the Force.

I stared at her smoking and charred body for a few passing moments. I knew her death was a must and by her dying it served two purposes to me. The first, I showed the other Acolytes that I was indeed powerful and the second, I had rid myself of a rival. I powered down my lightsaber and ran to my quarters where I quickly grabbed some food for the trip and the charging device fro my data pad. Satisifed I was ready, I made my way to the docking bay.

So both Avreet and Yr'il will me joining her on the mission to protect both her people and the newly acquired citizens of the Imperial Empire. She downloaded the faces of the three that she would eventually kill before they left her homeworld of Shili but they will suffer later for the mission took precedence over her own need for cleansening their corruption from Shili but if an opportunity presented itself she would strike them down. she took one final look around her temporary quarters making sure she was not forgetting anything and when she decided she was more than prepared, she left her room.

Grima moved through the halls without even looking at the younger and newer Acolytes for nothing would distract her from her goal. Grima arrived at the docking bay checking the hull of her own ship, Anathema, and saw that the repairs had been properly fixed. Her personal pilot walked down the ramp and greeted Grima with a slight bow of his head. Grima never liked space flight or even piloting so when she came into possession of her own ship, she quickly sought out the best pilot and found him. "Mistress Volitu, the ship is ready for departure and I have completed all the repairs from the last outing Mistress Volitu plus completed the upgrades we spoke of. So whenever you are ready Mistress Volitu I will be in the cockpit," Grundez, male Zabrak, said.

"Very well Grundez," Grima then watched him enter the ship while she waited for her two companions. She remembered how she had rescued Grundez from death at the hands of the Nightsisters. He had been accused of theivery but Grima had been impressed by his piloting skills during the hunt to capture him so when they caught up with him, she gave him a choice of life or death.

Grima, waiting for Avreet and Yr'il, decided to take the time to meditate.

Upon his arrival, Avreet noticed Master Volitu was already there, waiting for him and Yr'il. The teenage Mon Cal could feel the white haired human getting close, so the Togruta wouldn't have to wait for long. The Sith Master meditated, not moving, but the Mon Cal's right eye noticed a Zabrak walking into the ship. Most likely the pilot, Avry knew Master Volitu owned a ship, but didn't like flying very much. That also meant the Zabrak knew how to fly very well, as the Sith Master demanded excellence. This was actually the first time the Mon Cal saw the ship, so he stopped pacing towards the Togruta and stared at the ship. A very interesting design, he had to admit he had never seen something like that before.

"I am ready, Master." The boy said as he neared his Master, just as Yr'il appeared behind him. Everything was ready now, it looked like the ship has been given proper maintemance and refueling before the mission. Given the safety of the Imperial space and a patrol ship just around everywhere, they didn't have to worry about pirates. Most of them were long dead or ran to the Alliance space, though now when the war was over, it was more than likely many of them used the opportunity of feeling of safety and returned to the Empire to cause trouble. If any pirate ship truly attacked and boarded Grima's ship, the criminals would sign their own death sentences. What could a group of poor equipped and untrained thugs do against three trained and experienced Sith?

Of course, there was always a chance of running into a renegade Alliance ship. That might have proven to be a real problem, as the Alliance fanatics had nothing else to do than destroying everything that didn't have an Alliance uniform. Typical.

Avreet waited until Yr'il came closer and then he walked into the ship. It was rather cosy inside, no wonder, the Sith Master wanted to have a bit of luxory when travelling for hours or days.

I exited my quarters and moved quickly through the Temple halls to reach the docking bay. I hoped no other Acolyte wished to challenge me again for that Twi'lek had costed me to much time as it was and I came to the conclusion that Master Volitu was not the patient type and would leave me behind if I failed to arrive on time. I saw the docking bay's entrance and using the Force slightly, I added a little more pep into my run. I entered the docking bay and saw both Avreet and Master Volitu standing next to some odd and wierd looking ship. The ship looked creepy and foreboding then I chuckled to myself as a thought crept into my mind. This ship was fitting for Master Volitu.

I walked over to the other two Sith and said,"Sorry Master Volitu for holding you up. That Twi'lek girl picked her moment to challenge me as I left the Sith Archives. She will no longer be a problem again. Hello Avreet." I was alittle nervous about flying. I did not like space for it was so cold and I trusted in my skills and the Force not the creations of others. So much could go wrong in a ship plus I had watched holovids of space combat and that did not appeal to me. I prefered to face my enemies face to face rather than sitting in a flying machine dodging laser shots and doing outrageous maneuvors.

Master Volitu and Avreet entered the ship and I followed them up the ramp. The ship looked rather comfortable and not so forboding as the outside did. I looked at the several markings and desgins on the ship's walls and wondered what they stood for. A couple of them seemed to be from the ancient Sith language but I was still learning how to speak, write, and read the language. I felt a comotion coming from the front of the ship and I saw a male Zabrak, dressed in battle gear, moving toward the cockpit. He must be the pilot of this frightening ship. I went to the passengers section of the ship, found a black and red seat and plopped down on it.

I was ready to get on with the mission but I was not ready for the space flight.

Grima stepped off the ramp of her ship, the two Acolytes behind her, and saw the immense changes that had taken place since she was in the capital city. It had been 14 years since she was on her homeworld and though she would never openly admit it, she felt some sense of joy at the homecoming. The trio began to walk toward the turbolift doors when they opened and Ambassador Hawe, the newly appointed representive from the Empire to oversee a smooth transition of Shili into the Empire, stepped out with three male Togrutas walking with him. Two of the Togrutas were unfamiliar to her but the third she recongized as Councilor Ziie, one of the three responsible for the death of her mother and famliy. Grima wanted to kill him right here and now but fought the temptation and urge to do so. Patience is a virtue.

"Greetings Ambassador Hawe, I am Sith Master Grima Volitu. The Mon Calamari is my Apprentice Acolyte Avreet Zatarus and the young female girl is Acolyte Yr'il Berong. We have been dispatched to deal with the rebel incursion on Shili," Grima said stealing a quick glance at Councilor Zille. The Ambassador politely bowed his head then said,"Welcome Mistress Volitu and welcome to you as well Acolytes Zatarus and Ber'ong. It is a welcoming sight to see the Sith have taken an interest in the problems on Shile." Councilor Zille interuppted by adding,"We are in your debt. We have put a 100% effort into expelling these rebels but as you know being a Togruta yourself, we try to remain a peaceful stature in the galaxy. We are not warrios but a simple race."

Again Grima fought the urge to kill the Councilor. "I'm sure you have Councilor. I would not think that Shili would want to reap all the benefits from the Empire while doing nothing themselves about the rebels here," Grima said with a venomous tone in her voice. The Ambassador looked at the councilor then back to Grima and said,"Uh we have prepared rooms for you and your two comapnions along with your pilot. Tomorrow we will go over with you the sites that had been attacked and the villiages decimated and assign you landspeeders so you may conduct your investiagtions and search for these rebels but tonight we will have a great feast. Councilor Zille and the other councilors have put together a feast together in honour of your arrival and in honour of the planet Shili being adopted into our glorious Empire. So if you will please follow us, we will go to the banquest hall now."

The banquet hall was rich and lavish and colourful. Grima had no real appetite. Not because she was not hungry but the other two councilors she wanted to kill, Ghitte and Shikke, had joined in the feast. Grima watched as a young female Togruta servant poured a round of refills. "When has it been practice to have slaves work in the embassy," she asked outloud. Councilor Shikke answered,"She is not a slave Mistress Volitu but a servant girl. We have no slaves here." Grima smiled slightly then added,"Servant girl, where are you from?" Before the servant girl could answer Councilor Ghitte interjecetted himself into the conversation by saying,"She is from the Outlands and she is more than happy to be serving in the capital."

Grima laughed at the comment then said,"Unless I am mistaken Councilor Ghitte but the Outlands are made up of farming villiages and the only happiness I recalled they endured was being left in peace to live in any fashion they seemd fit." Grima waved the Councilor's apparent protest aside and added,"So you say she is a servant yet I think she is a slave. But let us hear what my Apprentice has to say on this issue. You all know he is a Mon Calamari and his species...his people had suffered greatly at the hands of Darth Kryat who seemed to think the galaxy was a better place without the Mon Calamari. The ones he did not kill he kept as...what did you call it Councilor Shikke....oh yes, servants. Please enlighten us Apprentice on your thoughts about this young girl. Servant or slave?"

Grima leaned back with her haunting smile on her face. She felt the councilors squriming in their seats and saw the confusion on the ambassadors face. It indeed felt good to be home.

The flight went smoothly, no signs of pirates whatsoever. Avreet had spent most of the time meditating, preparing himself for combat that awaited them. The Zabrak has proven himself to be a capable pilot, so they were on Shili in no time. The planet looked beautiful, a little bit too uncivilized for Avreet's taste, but beautiful. The Mon Calamari found it's nature amazing, so marvelous and yet so deadly. One wouldn't want to get lost in it's vast wilderness. Avreet realized he was going to see two worlds - the modern capital, prepared for tourists and the main Imperial foothold on the planet in stark contrast with the various tribes and poor farmers living outside of the safety of the city walls.

The first stop for the Sith was the capital city. Avreet had never seen it before, so he couldn't compare how it looked like before the Empire came to the world. It looked clean and well kept, like every Imperial city. Grima didn't say a word, but her apprentice could imagine her mind wandered off into the past. Walking beside Yr'il, following Master Volitu, Avreet paced towards the turbolift. Four individuals stepped out of it, Avreet recognized the ambassador who represented the Empire. The Mon Calamari Acolyte bowed as his Master introduced him and remained silent, letting Grima talk. He imagined it was for the best, as being a Sith Master and a native to Shili made her more influential.

The ambassador started to speak but was cut off by one of the Togruta men. Avreet slightly narrowed his right eye when the man spoke. While he understood the natives counted on the Empire to take care of their problems, they should know how to protect themselves to at least hold off until the help from the Empire arrives. Master Volitu apparently had a very similiar thought. Before the situation erupted into something very unpleasant, the ambassador told them about their rooms and a feast.

Avreet wasn't hungry, but wanted to taste a little bit of everything to get familiar with the traditional Togrutan cousine. As several servants started putting various kinds of food in front of them, he didn't know what to choose first. He took a piece of meat and put it into his mouth. It was very well spiced and it's juice exploded in his mouth. The next meal tasted worse, some kind of a purple fruit. While it tasted juicy, it left a weird sour in his mouth that eventually got worse, so he turned to whisper a warning into Yr'il's ear, "Don't eat those purple things, they taste terrible." He quickly washed it away with water and tried another fruit, this time something that looked like a yellow berry. That one tasted very sweet, he liked that. Of course, then came various combinations of sauces and meat, so Avreet, even though not really eating, soon felt his stomach was full.

Grima started talking something about slaves. Another councillor started talking with the Togruta Sith, stating the girl was a servant, while another said she came from the Outlands. The Mon Calamari didn't know much about these things, but he noticed the servant girl took an interest in him. No wonder, many Togrutas probably didn't even know Mon Calamari existed and now one walked on Shili and trained under a Togruta Sith Master. Everything about Avreet, ranging from his clothes to his physical appearance had to look so alien to the native Togrutas that had never seen other place than Shili. Sure, Yr'il also looked very interesting to them, more so for her white hair, but a walking fish-like creature sparked much more interest.

The Sith Master decided to ask Avreet for solving the debate, so he thought for a while before speaking. "Master, I think the girl is more a slave than a servant. I don't know much about the situation in the Outlands, but servants like her are usually sending most of their earning to their families to keep them fed. She is possibly being paid only enough to keep her family fed, so she wouldn't be able to start living on her own and find a better job. Slavery is outlawed in the Empire, but she is still getting paid, so no crime is being committed." The Mon Calamari said and used telekinesis to grab the flagon the girl carried and poured himself more water before moving the flagon back to the girl's hands.

The young slave - or servant - winked at him before going to refill the flagon. The councillors seemed silent, not wanting to have the Sith on their bad side, while also not wanting to look like some mindless slavers.

From what I could see, this city, this planet was beautiful. From our earlier descent I saw the mulitude of colours on the planet and when we landed, I saw the beautiful craftsmanship of the building structures. I was, admittley, overwhelmed by it all. When we left Master Volitu's ship we had been greeted by the welcoming committee. Master Volitu introduced herself first then she introduced us. I nodded my head at the Ambassador and the Togruta Councilman. I sensed Master Volitu was unpleased with this Councilman by the tone she spoke with him. But it was not my place to inquiry about it.

We were led to a great feasting hall where a grand table lined in gold and intricate designs awaited us. I took a seat next Avreet and several young females began brining out various dishes of food and pitchers of drinks. I was slightly hungry so I looked at the food, most of it looked different in comparison to the food they served at the Temple. I piled on different meat and veggies but before I took my first bite, Avreet whispered in my ear not to eat the purple things. I smiled at the sour face he was making and quickly returned those purple things back to their serving dish. "Thanks Avreet," I said then began eating.

I listened to the conversation that was taking place and once again I had taken notice of the tone Master Volitu was using with the three Togruta Councilman. Quickly the conversation turned to one of the female servers. Master Volitu claimed she was a slave stolen from her villiage in the Outlands while the Councilman argued she was a mere servent girl. When Avreet had finished speaking, at the bequest of his Master, I took the time to interject my thoughts on the matter.

"Avreet is correct, there is no slavery in the Empire and those found to be in possession of slaves risk losing all their financial standings, thier titles or ranks, and in extreme cases their lives. If this girl is a servent and is being paid as Avreet suggests, then why is she wearing a electronic device around her right ankle? Surely if she is a paid servent there would be no concern of her running off," I said glancing at Avreet and then at Master Volitu. The girl seemed to have caught the eye of my friend Avreet but he was blinded by her immaculate beauty to see the small electronic shackle attached to her ankle.

I saw the concerns on the faces of the councilman and the small shock on the Ambassador's face. "Unless of course Ambassador you believe in slavery yourself and have decided to turn a blind eye to the situation in order to levitate your standing in the Empire by any means neccassary to bring Shili into the fold of the Empire? Which in case Ambassador, you are teetering on ruin," I said rising to my feet and slipping my hand over the hilt of Serpent's Breath. I had always despised slavery and there was a time I had almsot became one.

I looked again at all three of councilors, the Ambassador, then to the servent girl, then Avreet, and finally resting my eyes on Master Volitu. I do not seek to overstep any boundries but Imperial Law is Imperial Law and if we allow the laws to be bend slightly then we risk losing everything," I added while I unclipped my lightsaber from my waist sash but had not ignited it. My eyes were locked on Master Volitus and if she gave the command then justice would be swift.

Master Voiltu let a laugh. Her Apprentice's opinion and that of the Acolyte Yr'il Ber'ong were different which were not both wrong in the Sith Master's eyes. She despised slavery but she cared little for this trivial issue than she did about the three Councilman sitting at the table with the Ambassador. Grima knew that their mission was to assist and defend the newly acquired citizens of the Empire but as she sat their at the table she wondered if protecting them mattered. The Sith may be viewed as brutal but she was not, she was a survivalist. Grima also knew that her outlook on certain Sith beliefs were looked on by others in the Order as blasphemy, maybe even border line traitorous but she did not care. Sith were borne to be individuals which included their thinking and by subjecting yourself into the same beliefs of the Order made one weak and those that were weak should be culled. However, she knew the laws and rules of the Order and she followed them but she bent them.

Waving her hand in a sit down motion toward the Acolyte Ber'ong, Grima ordered, "Take a seat Acolyte Ber'ong. We are not here to kill anyone over a discussion....yet. We are simply enjoying ourselves a well prepared meal and it would be a shame to ruin such a feast with bloodshed." The Ambassador opened his mouth to speak but Grima turned her head and locked eyes with him and said to him, "It would be wise for you to restrain yourself from speaking at the moment Ambassador. I will give you the benefit of ignorance that you were not aware of the slavery issue on Shilli. However, it would be best that you work to alleviate this issue quickly and efficiently."

Grima rose to her feet looking each of the three Councilman in the eyes then said,"I'm going to retire to my quarters. Excuse me Ambassador....Councilman. Apprentice Avreet, I want you to go over the attacks with the Ambassador. Yr'il, will you please join me for a stroll." Without waiting for Yr'il, Grima headed down the corridor toward the guest quarters.

The Mon Cal blinked in surprise as Yr'il pointed out the device on the girl's ankle. The boy paid little attention to the lower part of her body, and thought the device was in fact some sort of jewelry after a brief glance. Now that he knew the truth, he frowned and looked at the ambassador, then at the councillors. Breaking the Imperial law on an Imperial planet should not be tolerated! The white haired Acolyte had similiar thoughts and stood up, lightsaber in her hand, awaiting Master Volitu's command. While Avreet knew Yr'il meant well, he remained sitting, preferring a more laid back approach. Even though he had become a living embodiment of the Imperial justice several times in the past, he only did so when dealing with killers. Killing these men, who were guilty of having a slave, would make him a murderer, a thing he did not want to become.

Before the things escalated to the point of no return, Grima laughed and stopped Yr'il from doing what she was going to do. The ambassador received a look from the Sith Master, forcing him to stop from saying something. Probably the typical things like he did not know of the issue. Avreet, however, kept glaring at the young Togruta girl, standing by the wall. He felt sorry for her, really. He, a Mon Calamari, was born as a free sentient on a planet where members of his species were almost non-existant. His whole life, he has been taught how to protect freedom the Empire offers, and now, there she stood, a slave on an Imperial world. The Sith Acolyte could hardly imagine it, being born on the planet of her species, yet forced to serve the ones above her. Avreet felt ashamed. As Shili became a part of the Empire, Togrutas were his people too, he couldn't just watch the poor girl and pretend nothing happened. Deciding to pay her a visit later, he turned his large head to look at his Master, listening to her instructions.

Nodding, he waited as Grima and Yr'il left, then his piercing gaze at the ambassador. "Ambassador Hawe, you heard Master Volitu. What can you tell me about these attacks?" the boy asked as he turned on the recording on his datapad, so he wouldn't have to tell it all to Master Volitu.

The councillors probably understood that their presence was not very welcomed, so they all stood up and said their goodbyes before retreating to their rooms. The ambassador took a sip from his drink, looking at the wall. "Six days ago, an Alliance ship entered the system, heading for Shili. Our planetary defense forces had managed to damage the ship, but it was not enough to destroy it. It crashlanded in a forest near the villages to the east, Alliance soldiers led by a pair of Jedi pouring out. Imperial presence in those villages was not large, we did not expect any trouble coming from them, so our forces were taken by surprise. After killing all our soldiers in there, the Alliance dogs started butchering the civilians, saying it was a revenge for Coruscant. There were very few survivors of that. Three to be precise, 698 men, women, children are dead."

Avreet gasped as he heard that. What sort of monsters could kill seven hundred innocent people? He made a decision not to take any prisoners, monsters like that did not deserve mercy.

"The two Jedi did not participate in killing the villagers, but did nothing to stop their soldiers either. Before we have put up force large enough to face them, they retreated deep to the forest. The area they went to is unmapped, as the natives believe it is sacred. Our soldiers tried to follow the hostiles, but were killed or wounded by traps. From what we know, the Jedi led their men towards something that looks like a Temple on the satelite images. According to the people who claim to have been in there, it's been there as long as they remember, sitting in a middle of a swamp, sinking into it. That sort of terrain can be treacherous, we cannot send our men in there, not will all these hostiles. There's more than a hundred of them! The whole forest is surrounded though, nothing gets out."

Avreet thought a little bit. Did the Jedi go in the temple on purpose, searching for something. If the Jedi wanted it, the Sith had to get their hands on it. Luckily, the ambassador had the same idea when deciding whether to request an orbital bombardment or not, so the Sith team was free to look for whatever the Jedi wantd after taking care of the threat. The Mon Cal disliked the idea of going inside of an ancient temple that has been sinking underground for Force knows how many years, but he had to go there to eliminate the enemies of peace anyway.

Nodding, he let the ambassador know that he was satisfied with the report. He stopped recording and stood up, putting the datapad into the pocket on his throusers, "That's all for now, ambassador. Thank you."

There was still the matter with the slave girl, but Avreet decided to solve it by himself. He did not know if his Master would approve of such action he was going to do, but she didn't need to know this. Moving towards the place the Togruta slave went, he walked from the grandiose hall he ate in. The reality of how the planet looked hit him again, it was very easy to forget it when inside the safest and most beautiful room in the city and eating the finest food Togrutas could offer. There was little Avreet could do about it, but he could change the young girl's life. The red light for setting sun illuminated his way and made large shadows on the walls as he walked beside large windows offering him a view on the most of the city.

The girl stood in front of one of the windows, just looking outside. She didn't even flinch as Avreet silently approached, even though she had to know about him because the shadow gave his position away. It was when he pointed at her ankle that she turned to look at him, slight worry in her expression. The electronic device fell apart. She was free. Reaching to his pocket, Avreet pulled out something from his tunic, holding it tightly in his fist, making the girl extend her hand with an open palm, taking the gift. Nothing less than 6000 credits. She had never seen so much money, giving the Acolyte a surprised look, to which he responded with a smile, "You're free. Find a new home."

Excited and happy, the female Togruta said something in her native tongue, kissed Avreet on his forehead and ran away. Turning around and slowly walking towards his quarters, the Mon Calamari teenager couldn't help but feel happy. A very strange feeling for a Sith, but he really liked it.

I gripped the hilt of Serpent's Breath tighter as I waited for a gesture or the words from Master Volitu to end the life of the ambassador. To my surprise, the Togruta Sith Master told me to stand down. I clipped my weapon back to my sash waist but kept my eyes on the Ambassador as I returned to my seat. I listened as Master Volitu spoke to the Ambassador and watched with confusion as she looked at the three Councilman with something of hatred or contempt. I noticed she had stared at them before and wondered if there was something that I had missed upon our arrival.

I reached to grab a mug to quench my thirst when Master Volitu had ordered Avreet to work with the Ambassador then again to my surprise, she asked me to accompanying her. Master Volitu arose to her feet, without waiting for me, and began to walk down the corridor. I abruptly rose to my feet, stealing another glance at the Ambassador then the three Councilman, then jogged to catch up to Master Volitu.

We walked in utter silence and I felt it was not my place to instigate the conversation. While we walked I took in the intricate designs embedded into the walls and unique designs on the over polished floor. I looked at the other Togrutas walking to and fro, their destinations aline to me but apparent to them and still Master Volitu remained silent. We rounded a corner and I felt a tugging at my mind and looked over at the Sith Master and saw here eyes looking at me.

I did not know what she wanted me to do but something deep inside told me it had something to do with the Ambassador or the Councilman. Finally, I broke the silence. "Ask of me what you wish Master Volitu and I shall do it."

Grima walked in silence gathering her thoughts when the Acolyte, Yr'il Ber'ong, broke her from her revrie. Without looking at the young Acolyte, Grima spoke. "You are to be commended by your actions to seek to uphold the laws of the Empire and by all accounts I should have let you strike down the Ambassador. However, I believe he was unaware of the slavery taking place here upon Shill having being occupied with stablizing Shilli for the Empire. He is ignorant, yes, but ignorance is by now means to kill someone child. If you sought to eradicate all the ignorant people in the galaxy Acolyte, you would no doubt kill millions and after time, you will grow old and die never accomplishing your goal."

Grima stole a sideways glance in the direction of the Acolyte. When the Acolyte acknowledged she understood her words, Grima contiuned. "Now I do not care about the suffering of the Togrutas here on Shilli. Yes, they are of my species but it doesn't not mean that I have to care for them, that is politics and such politics should be left to those who have a better understanding of such matters. We are Sith, we should not envelope ourselves with the meeger squabbles of the politicians. But, it is our duty to hunt down any and and all remments of the Galatic Alliance. So I am in favour of doing just that. Which now brings me to those three Councilmen you have met today. They are corrupted by greed and power and by allowing themselves to be controlled by such emotions, they have taken from me more than they should have. For this, they will die!"

Grima felt her anger rising at the thought of the horrors they brought upon her mind as a child. She will see those three dead before they had left the planet and this Acolyte already volunteered her services to that cause. "My former Apprentice is busy dealing with the Ambassador which leaves you, and you already said that you will do what I wish of you." Grima gave the young Acolyte a haunting grin before she contiuned, "You will follow Councilor Zille, shadowing his every movement. When you find the right oppurtunity, you will kill him! Do not use your lightsaber for that will cause a conspiracy that the Sith can not be trusted. No, you will be creative in his death. By morning when we all meet up, I will be eager to welcome the news of his death. Do not fail me Yr'il Ber'ong."

Grima motioned her right hand in a dissimive gesture for the Acolyte to leave. Grima walked down the corridor alone with another haunting smile on her face.

Had Avreet not looked outside of a window, he might have thought the whole planet was as imposing as the quarters set up for the Sith guests. The rooms certainly made a good first impression, offering it's occupants anything they could ever think of, but the view outside made one realize the whole city was nowhere near as majestic. Dirty, full of criminals, with most people barely starting to live by the Imperial laws and customs. The slave girl was a great example of it. Despite the slavery being banned in the Empire and Basic being the language of the future, she was a slave that spoke only in her native language, and Avreet had his doubts she has ever been to school. This planet needed to try harder at accepting the ways of the Empire.

To stop thinking about it, he took out his datapad to send Grima what he had recorded with the ambassador. The Sith Master would surely like to hear it, as it allowed her to develop a plan for eliminating the rogue Alliance forces on the planet. At first, Avreet was worried if this planet had a Holonet, but the datapad connected quite quickly and the Mon Calamari could easily send what he needed. Feeling slightly better, the boy dared to look out of the window again. The city obviously did not become the Imperial capital, but instead of filling Avreet's mind with helplessness, he saw hope. Noticing several Imperial flags waving out of windows, Avreet realized that the Empire was the only thing that could save this planet by educating Shili's people, changing barbaric hunters and warriors to workmen and well-educated citizens, giving everyone work and equal opportunity, erasing powerty and crime. Sure, the planet looked terrible, but in a decade or two, it would be just as advanced as any other Imperial planet.

Not having much to do, the teenager decided to go out and explore the city, hoping to find something good about it. Briefly considering to invite his Master for a walk, he shook his head, Grima probably wouldn't want to pointlessly wander through the streets. The young Sith had no intention of bothering her with something she'd have dismissed, so he made his way to a turbolift, letting it take him to the lowest level. Two Imperial soldiers standing by the entrance stood at attention when the teenager walked past them, confidently diving into the depth of the city. He was a Sith on an Imperial planet, he had nothing to fear.

The place looked much better than when he looked at it from above. All homelesses and drunks had been cleaned from the streets a long time ago. Everything gave an impression of an Imperial city with many Imperial flags being hung out of windows and armed guards at every corner. The first pair Avreet ran into requested his ID card. After giving it to them, they confirmed Avreet's identity, gave him back his ID card, saluted and wished him a good day, then continued their duties. Everything looked good so far.

Looking around, he noticed the Togruta he had freed from slavery earlier. The young girl, probably around his age, just exited what seemed like a hunter shop, probably built so the tourists could enjoy hunting Togrutan fauna with Togrutan weapons. The Togruta carried a bow bigger than herself on her back, as well as many arrows in a quiver and was dressed in something that could have been a traditional hunter clothing, which meant leather to hide her intimate parts and some wraps on her legs. When Avreet gave her so much money, he did not expect her to go to the nearest shop with bows and arm herself. Did she want to hunt? Shaking his head, he slowly approached her.

Seeing her saviour, the girl yelled something Avreet couldn't understand and ran up to him, wrapping her arms around him. "When I told you to find a new home, I meant it....," the Mon Calamari started, but the girl excitedly started talking to him in her native language. She definitely wanted to tell him her plans for the future, but the language barrier prevented her from spreading them. The girl quickly realized that and stopped talking, giving Avreet a sweet smile and also showing her rather intimidating sharp teeth. Kissing the Mon Cal on the forehead again, she giggled and ran off. Avreet noticed she did not buy any footwear. The Acolyte sighed. Togrutas. Still, he felt a strange warmth as he thought about the girl. He needed to meditate about it, a Sith couldn't be distracted by such feelings.

The turbolift took him back where he needed to be. Kneeling on the ground, he meditated, trying not to think of the girl, hoping his Master wouldn't feel what he felt because of their bond. That would have been most embarassing.

I nodded my head, my two braided strands of white hair flopping forward and backward, in understanding of what the Sith Master was asking of me. I did not know how I would deal with the Councilman but I decided that I would stalk him around the city, and where he went I would be his unseen shadow. I took my leave of Master Volitu and retraced my steps to the great banquet hall. Though I do not believe in coincidence, I do however believe wholly in Fate. And Fate was on my side. I saw the Counciulman, one Zille, leaving the hall with two bodyguards flanking him and a step or two behind him.

I followed the trio at a safe distance until at last they left the building. I stepped to the side as I watched my target enter a black and yellow limo. I was about to pull out a tracking device as the limo pulled off but once again, Fate had intervened on my behalf. An aircab, piloted by a droid of sorts had stopped outside the building. I hopped into the aircab and when the droid asked my destination, I told it to follow the black and yellow limo. Without a protest or question, the droid put the aircab in gear and followed the limo. I told the droid to keep a few paces behind and once agian, to my satasifaction, the droid asked no questions but did as it was ordered to do. I had followed the limo for at least an hour, while the limo made a couple of stops, one at a small vendor and the other a cantina. Both times, the Councilman remained tucked away in his false sense of security that is called a limo. Master Volitu wanted me to kill him but not to do it openly so no oppurtunity presented itself to me.

So once again we followed the limo until it slowed down, turned right, and went down a dark alley. As the aircab came up to the street, I ordered the droid to continue forward and as we did, I peered out the window and saw the limo not only stopped outside a run-down factory, but Councilman Zille had exited the limo, heading into the factory. I told the driod to halt, paid the fare, and exited the aircab. I looked at the building and wondered what behind-the-scenes activity was taking place in there. My next question I wanted answered was how do I get in there without being noticed. I began to walk down the street a bit until I realized the building next to it was some sort of apartment complex. Fate had answered my question for me. I entered the apartment complex and found a stairwell and an elevator. I chose the stairwell.

The stairs of the complex led me all the way to the rooftop, where I found a door that led to the roof but locked. I used the Force and blew out the door and stepped through. As I thought, this apartment complex's rooftop was only a few feet from the factory's rooftop. I ran and Force lept from one rooftop to the next, and when I landed on the factory rooftop I ran toward the door, and found it was not locked. I slipped inside and slowly moved down this stairwell until I heard voices in the far off distance. I turned the corner and stopped in my tracks. A guard of sorts was walking down the corridor with his bakc to me. I used the Force and gripped his throat killing him quickly. I ran passed his body and looked down into what appeared to be at one time the assembly line and saw the Councilman, his two bodyguards, and some sort of rough looking Togruta with his bodyguard talking. I thought occured to me.

I exited the factory and the aptarmtent complex the same way I had entered and moved toward the Councilman's limo. As I suspected, the driver was a droid. Using Force Lightning, I destroyed the droids circuitry and once again with the aid of the Force, repostioned the limo so it would act like a lock as it blocked the door. I moved through the alley and when I rounded the building on the far side, I spotted another limo and as Fate would have it, driven by another droid. I did the same thing with this limo and then re-entered the factory via the apartment complex's roof. I borrowed the dead guard's blaster rifle and surveyed the factory while the two groups conducted their business. Satisfied with the layout, I moved to the second floor, grabbed the dead body and through it over the side and using the Force, ran toward the hallway that led to the door where the Councilman had entered.

I heard the body hit the floor as I reached my destination and both groups uttered some words not fit for young ears. I then heard scrambling feet and stood in the hallway waiting. The first of the two bodyguards moved through the threshold and with blaster pistol in my hand, I shot him dead. Before his body hit the ground, the second bodyguard, carried by his momentum and fear of being caught, came through the threshold and I shot him dead as well. I heard the Councilman stop and felt his fear through the Force. I moved toward the threshold and turned the corner. The Councilman stared at me with wide eyes and was speechless until the rough looking Torguta and his partner returned. "Kill this Sith before she ruins our plans," Councilman Zille screamed. I pulled out my lightsaber with my free hand, ignited it, and repeled both shots from their weapons back at them killing them.

I powered down Serpent's Brerath and clipped him on my red sash but kept the blaster pistol trained on the Councilman. Realizing he was alone, he began to beg for his life and even promised to make me rich. I shot him in his left kneecap and when he fell, I shot him in his right kneecap. When I stood over his body, I looked into his scared face saying, "Sith Master Grima Volitu sends you her wishes and her farewell." Before he could protest, I shot him between the eyes. I dropped the gun next to the lifeless body of Councilman Zille and left.

Grima leaned forward against the rail in The Great Hall that overlooked the city, and stared at the site where years ago both her mother and her former neighbours had been executed for wanting nothing more than to be left alone and live their lives in a peacful way. "Peace is lie.....there is only passion," Grima muttered to herself, still looking at the execution site. She turned around and saw that Councilman Shikke was moving toward her. He waved at her as if her eyes did not work properly and that she had not seen him approaching unless he gestured toward her with his waving hand. "Fool," Grima whispered under her breath.

"Councilman Shikke....what have I done to be honoured by your presence," the Sith Master said but thinking of ways to kill him slowly and painfully. The Councilman laughed slightly and said, "I thought you and I could speak a moment. Away from the prying ears of others. I think you and I may have gotten off to a rough start back there." Grima forced herself to smile at the male Togruta then replied, "You may speak....but rather I choose to listen is my choice. So, speak." The Councilman, not use to be spoken to in such a manner fought to suppress his anger not because he did not trust this girl, but because she was Sith and all Sith were dangerous.

The Councilman was about to open his mouth when Grima's com link chirped. Grima held up a hand, and walked a few paces away then answered the com link. It was Yr'il Ber'ong and she said only one word; "Completed". Grima smiled at herself and then said into the com link, "Well done Acolyte....meet Avreet and me in the morning to discuss are plan of action." Grima commed Avreet and told him the same thing. With that taken care of, Grima turned her attention to the Councilman.

"Years ago Councilman Shikke, there was a rebellion fought outside of the capital. Several farmers were killed while others where taken prisoner. The Jedi that had been dispatched to assist had been lied to, the fools, and sided with the governemnt here. My father and brothers died in that fight and later my sisters died in another fight. The worse part, my mother had been imprisoned but was suppose to be pardoned via the agreement with the Jedi Order." Grima locked her cold gaze onto the Councilmans. Grima gripped his throat with Force Choke, paralyzing the Councilman with fear. "Later Councilman Shikke, after the Jedi left the Shille, you and your two cohorts retried the prisoners and executed them at that spot," Grima said as she raised her right arm and pointed to the spot her mother was executed, But need not worry Councilman, your death will not be there."

Grima invaded the Councilor's mind, released her grip on his throat, and then with ease, she Memroy Rubbed the whole conversation, erasing it from his mind. As she let go of his mind, Grima said, "I understand you are busy Councilor....so when you have more time, you and I can discuss your concerns over the issue of slavery. Excuse me." Grima walked passed the Councilor on her way to her quarters. Her familiar haunting smile emerged on her face.

His emotions and feelings slowly returned under his control after several minutes of meditation passed. The Mon Calamari meditating on the floor, his eyes closed, earned several weird looks from the staff. Literally feeling their looks, a slight smile crept into Avreet's face, imagining their shock at seeing a weird squid headed creature kneeling in the hallway. They'd better get used to it, Shili was going to face another invasion once the current problem's been dealt with - Imperial tourists, looking to hunt exotic animals and visit places with entirely different culture. While that'd bring many animal species near extinction, the tourism would also bring billions of credits to the planet, making it's transformation into something civilized possible. Most major cities on the planet already looked beautiful in terms of architecture and services, but outside of the safe walls was wilderness.

The comlink on his left wrist blinked a few times, vibrating. Without even opening his eyes, the teenager pressed a button on it's upper half. The voice of his Master made him open his eyes and stare at the window opposite of him, briefly wondering why Grima did not use telepathy as he listened to her instructions. The Togruta Sith Master did not have anything else for the Acolytes today, which meant Avreet had several hours to prepare before getting a rest, much needed for tomorrow. The boy got up from the ground, dusted off his clothes, and watched the beautiful sunset for a while. The planet really offered some sort of beauty, but he had to keep in mind that just like the rooms for the Sith visitors were beautiful while the rest of the city looked terrible, the untouched nature on Shili hid many deadly predators. And the Jedi with their Alliance dogs, of course.

Taking the turbolift again, the Mon Calamari appeared on the streets again. With a destination in his mind, he called a cab by requesting it through a panel next to the building. It was good to see Shili posessed at least some sort of technology that could be normally found on any Imperial planet, though it surely wasn't planet wide. The cab arrived almost silently, the small landspeeder stopping by the panel and landing to allow Avreet to enter. Getting in and saying his destination was a matter of seconds, while the travel itself a matter of minutes. Looking through the window, the Mon Calamari knew they have arrived before the cab started slowing down. A large, imposing square building, with Imperial flags hanging almost everywhere, the Imperial military headquarters connected to the barracks.

Giving the droid driving the cab eight credits, Avreet got out, his heavy boots making a blunt sound as he stepped on the metal floor. Several Imperials stood guard by the sides of the entrance, not even flinching as the young Sith walked past them and entered the building. The first room was well lit, warm, welcoming. Signs on the walls showed him several directions, but the teenage Mon Cal had no intention of following any of them. Confidently, he walked to a round dest with a secretary sitting behind it, looking at him. Avreet stared back, even as he requested to meet with a person responsible for weapons inventory.

A man in a black imperial uniform showed up, teeling Avreet to follow. The Mon Calamari did so, clasping his hands behind his back and explaining he wanted to take a gun or two. Being an apprentice of a Sith Master, his wish was met with no resistance, even though Grima had no authority in the military. Everyone knew that saying no to an apprentice of a Sith Master would mean only trouble. That did not stop them from confirming the Mon Cal's indentity through the database though.

When he walked outside of the building, he carried his favourite K938 heavy blaster pistol holstered under his left shoulder, as well as two grenades and one additional medpac attached on the belt. That was not before proving he knew how to handle these items, of course. All of the weapons were hidden under the black cloak, so nobody raised an eyebrow at seeing a kid armed with military equipment, although anyone could have guessed he was a Sith because of the chestplate peeking from under the cloak.

Surprisingly, Avreet met with Yr'il, who looked like she had just arrived too. The boy had absolutely no idea where she went, so he gave her a friendly nod as he called the turbolift and let her enter first, then got in himself and pressed a button to take them up. "If you have any armor, I suggest you to take it to tomorrow's missions. Force knows," he tapped on his chest armor, making a hollow sound, "This had saved my life a few times. It's very light, so no need to worry about the added weight."

The doors of the turbolift opened, so Avreet bid Yr'il good night and went to his room. After a round of checking his equipment and doing the basic hygiene, he went to sleep. No dreams visited him that night, the sleep was surprisingly peaceful. Knowing he did his best to help the Togruta slave, he felt pleasant peaceful feeling filling his mind, not even thinking of the pained expressions of people that had fallen to his blade in the last few months.

The morning welcomed him into a new day. Although Master Volitu did not specify the time she wanted to meet him and Yr'il, he got up early to practice a few lightsaber moves against an invisible opponent. Both of his lightsabers ignited, he deflected a blow aimed at his right knee by hitting the opponent's blade with his right lightsaber and pushing it to the right, leaving the imaginary enemie's right leg completely unprotected. With a flick of his left wrist, the left lightsaber slid into the opponent's knee, forcing him to fall, cutting himself on Avreet's lightsaber that remained in the same position. A quick stab into the chest, and it was over. Avreet smiled, remembering the last Alliance soldier who thought he could defeat him in a duel.

The Acolyte then did the basic hygiene again and got dressed, arming himself with all the equipment he had before leaving the room, closing the door as well as his eyes, searching for two familiar Force signatures. He went to his Master first, giving her a bow of his head in a greeting as he found the Togruta. "Good morning, Master." He was curious what was the Togruta's plan going to be. Maybe they could discuss it during breakfast, servants started moving down the hallway to the kitchen connected with the hall the Sith trio attended the feast yesterday. No doubt, the honored guests would be taken care of in terms of tasty food and drinks.
