*stumbles carefully through the Imperium forum*
As you probably know, a trick to writing boringly normal characters is to put them in extraordinary circumstances.
My character is a suicidally naïve almost-Jedi who, somehow, still doesn't believe that she has powers. For now, she only tags along with the Order because she wants to discover how to stop appearing as a Force-user (which she believes she is not). She has a vague understanding of the Sith versus Jedi story, but that is all for her: a far-away story.
She's never been in a fight. She's never been badly hurt.
She's never meth a Sith.
That's where you come in. I want to get her in trouble. Let's say that she's such a clutz that she stumbled on your ship, instead of the cruiseship she was looking for. Then you can start the evil laughter, or whatever it is that Sith people do.
Rules: No dismemberment. She WILL act stupid. Despite the many opportunities of a mechanical hand, I'd rather not change Zee that much, that soon. But of course, there are many other ways of being evil...(Hint: she fears the dark. A lot)
No interogating her about Jedi outposts: This one's pretty logical. I want to advance my story, but not at the expense of everyone else's story. Considering that she doesn't think of herself as a Jedi and probably already forgot the name of the planet where the outpost is...could be done?
Not planning to turn to the Darkside (but I'll have the cookies, please): This is a one-off thing, of likely 1 thread, maybe two. I don't see Zee becoming a Sith; she has the most awful personality for that. That doesn't mean you shouldn't try - but I thought I should warn you. Also, I would appreciate Zee being let go at the end of this mini-arc (either because she is regarded too worthless for a Sith/too harmless to threathen Sith, or she was rescued - a Jedi padawan friend offered to help me with that ^^).
I would be very interested in roleplaying with someone with the ability Sever Force. I think that, at this point in time, the only way to make Zee acknowledge that she is Force-sensitive would be to momentarily block her connection to the Force - and make her realize how much she actually uses it. And I read that ysalamirs were banned.
(However, it's not a requirement. I don't even know if anyone has that ability, lol)
Whether my character ends up learning actual Force powers and which of them, I think, would depend on how our characters interact. It's not the focus and it could as well be discussed a bit later.
So...uhm...anyone interested? *fidgets*
