The Sith were successful on Dantooine under the lead of Xeno Brogroo. Now it was time for Darth Draugr to show what he can offer to the Empire. Planning his assault he knew that the planets he could take were close to Sith space, and now he had an opportunity to take a planet in a valuable Hyperspace lane. Wayland or Weyland for some, was a key planet in this war now. Draugr would show that the FWA cannot defend the Mid Rim from the Sith.

Coming in with a Dreadnaught, four destroyers, five cruisers, and countless starfighters. The Sith look to win this planet and take the surrounding territories around it. Draugr had studied this planet and knew that there were old bases in the mountains on the planet. This would be the target. The main HQ would be in one of these mountains.

Landing on the outer hangar. Draugr would be surrounded by Soldiers taking initiative on the ground level.

"We need to take the Command Center. Once we take that room we will have complete control of the Planet."

Waiting for the arrival of opposition, Draugr would remain on the outside. Rangers, Jedi, even Mandalorians would be nearby and it was only a matter of time before they showed their faces.

War. Invasion. Death and pain. Darrand's world was changing again. Gone was the calm, the order, it was about to be time for him to enter the chaos of combat. High above the world of Wayland, the fleet exited hyperspace. He wondered if he would be going down in the first wave, jumping into that jungle hell-hole with jetpack on his back, feeling his stomach lurch and the shock as it activated, the sudden deceleration. It was quite the rush. He felt that gleam in his eye. He figured they would probably drop him behind the lines. Drop him in the middle of the enemy, let him and his squad fight their way out, they would need to find a way into that HQ and light it up so the rest of the fleet could get to work.

And so the waiting began again, at least for now. He patted Desric on the shoulder, encouraging him. This young one would be joining them for the first time. Sure the guy had seen combat before, sure he had proved himself in the IAC, but this, well, this was different, this was dropping into hostile territory in a squad of as many operators as most sentients had fingers. This was having to have complete trust in your fellow operators. And with the sudden deployment and no plan of attack from the higher ups, well, it was understandable for the kid to be nervous. "Just remember, kid, if you puke, you do it on Cutup there. He's so ugly, nobody will even notice." He laughed at his attempt to get the newbie to loosen up, and elicited a few chuckles from the other men of the squad. Had to keep them entertained, keep the nerves from getting to the newbies. Help keep them sharp, effective, ready to drop.

A grim reality of war was that those one went up against had their own histories. They were people with families and loved ones, pasts and aspirations. True good and evil was hard to determine in reality. There were those who truly believed in what they were doing was the correct path, and he could not fault them for that. However, Toki would find himself on his first defense mission as a member of the Jedi. Though still a Padawan, he was provided a temporary, full powered lightsaber for use in this battle. He held the weapon in his hand and considered the fact he would be using it with the intent to kill or repel. He took a deep breath and sighed as he focused his mind and pressed a hand against his chest. There was a time and place for passivity, but it was not now.

It was time to prepare for the defense. He wondered who else would be here with him to aid in the battle. He would do everything he can for them, and do his best to make proper tactical decisions. Though, given the fact he certainly wasn't going to be in charge of the defense coordination, he would trust in the wisdom of whoever was. "I'll give it the best of my abilities..." He said as he steeled himself. This time, he wouldn't shake or lose his composure. He spend much time honing his mental fortitude after the events with his fellow Padawan. He still needed to find a master to guide him, but for the time being he was as focused as he'll ever be.

...Okay Zo, this seems like a very shitty situation, but you gotta hold it together...No fear, only the force."
Letting out a big sigh after saying those words, a nervous jedi knight muttered to herself before putting on her helmet away from everyone else, this was what she had looking for, a chance to help the people in the galaxy, a chance to be a hero and protect the innocent souls that lived in this planet, that's what she wanted, to protect people...But once she saw the many ships entering the planet's orbit, she couldn't help but feel a lump in her throat. She had spent most of her career as a knight protecting people and fighting criminals just like in the cool superhero holovids and comics, yet the sith...They were something else entirely, something far more sinister.

But once she put on her helmet, the fear went away, Phantasm would handle the situation, it was only a step above what she usually dealt with...Well, not really, it was certainly more than one step, but she had steeled herself. Now on the front and fully armored, Phantasm, the jedi knight, looked at the men and women that were standing side by side with her. Most of them were of course security forces of the planet that would die for their home, but the masked jedi did notice the padawan that was on his own, and so she approached him, because while the soldiers could rely on each other, jedi had to stick together as well.

"I've got your back." Phantasm said as she put her hand on Toki's shoulder, her voice carrying a reassuring tone even behind the voice scrambling her armor had "Trust in the force and your abilities...We'll get through this together, okay?" Phantasm grabbed her lightsaber and gave the padawan a pat on the back before she took a couple steps away from him, readying herself. She knew padawans could be quite capable, but they needed to be guided during turbulent times...But for now, all she could do was wait for the enemy to make their full entrance.

Jedi Knight Foa Lan was pleased to see other Jedi amongst the ground forces. Their presence was a message, in fact, it was a warning. Those who stood under the banner of tyranny would be met with swift and righteous resistance. Here, they will draw their line in the sand, and rave against the coming of the dark. Soon, the moment would be upon them, Fao Lan could sense it. Onsight of the Sith, he would not hesitate. To kill the beast, one must go for its head, crippling it till it was no further threat.

For now, he confirmed battle maneuvers with those in charge. The Command Centre was confirmed as the target; defending it would be paramount to the mission. Despite this, Foa Lan's thoughts drifted to that of the civilian population. More should have been evacuated from the local areas but now it was too late. With enemies at the door, the mountainous HQ had gone on lockdown. No one was get in or out.

Walking past a fellow knight, he nodded to her, his own helmet more or less obscuring his face. "Stand ready. The enemy could move at any moment. If the tide turns, I trust you'll watch over the Padawan..."

Not really one for idle chit-chat, Fao Lan moved on, his thoughts now occupied on the opposition. Now, it was a waiting game, each side readying to show their hand.

"Padawans, plural." Severus intervened standing next to Toki. He had avoided fighting for a while after his battle on Taris. He had no idea about Dantooine until it was too late and he didn't participate on Felucia because he thought that it was very backwards for the Order to directly invade a planet like Sith have been known for doing for centuries- like today. Wayland was different. He got word of a pending invasion and Severus jumped at the chance to defend the planet.

He gave a short wave to Toki, his expression stoic and cynical.
"I hope you've been practicing your forms." He noted to the Lepi. "When we're finished here, I can go over a few with you, if you'd like." He offered, his dark eyes scanning the soon-to-be battlefield. He wasn't afraid in the slightest- the last Sith he fought lost his forearms and their lightsaber to the Padawan. Maybe he'd get the chance to do it again.

"See you back on Yavin." He gave a small solute to Toki before pacing off with Fao Lan, a new Jedi Knight that Severus hadn't had the pleasure of meeting yet. Sev was not some inexperienced youngling- Severus was confident in his abilities, and more so now that he was alongside a Jedi Knight. This fight would be different that Taris and Dantooine. This would be the day the Jedi proved themselves to the galaxy; that they really were protectors and defenders of freedom and liberty.

The landing craft touched down in a small clearing roughly 70 meters from the base that was the first objective of the invasion force. A forest of trees and low fauna between the landing area and his target. As the ramp lowered a squad of IAF troopers would depart the ship in a sweeping formation. Slowly making their way toward the base to secure the facility for the Empire. Behind them a looming figure in black armor, a metallic black saber hilt in his hand.

As he marched toward his target the Sith could feel the light of the force amassing near by. "Jedi!", a modulated voice exclaimed. Perhaps more irritation than surprise. His purposeful stride would not faultier however. Instead continuing his steadfast determined stride toward his current target.

"Continue to the target. Put down anything in your way." The mechanical voice commanded over the encrypted comms in his helmet. These men and women would follow orders without question. In doing so likely garner the attention of his real prey.

THEME
The might of the dark side was well represented in the stark grey hulls amid the black void speckled with isolated lights. All these stars were together in being alone in the dark. It was a terrifying inevitability that all the glinting sparks would burn out and die like all things. From Wiley's fatalist perspective the warriors of light were fighting a losing battle. Like summer trying to stay past autumn, ignoring the changing of the seasons would lead to a death in winter. The Sith however, were eternal.

The Magmatic , remained in orbit and under the command of its captain. But Wiley had chosen to descend with the gozanti bulk cruisers and other invasion forces as part of the rear guard of the first wave. The troop transports ferried IAF soldiers and 125z moved alongside the bulk of Aziz's forces. "Have the tred-bikes sweep the rest of the mountain, report what you find." He ordered an officer nearby and then issued further directions to the Magnatic as he walked at a similar pace to his cohort towards their foe. "Keep scanning for any craft that may be launching." He tapped the commlink on his wrist to cut the connection with the onager class star destroyer. He wanted to prevent any from escaping, or at the very least be able to track where they were headed.

Garbed in his armor of worn black cloth and dueling gloves, the Champion's grinning expression was hidden by a cyclopean mask. In his left hand he carried his lightsaber in a reverse grip with it's blade unignited. In his right, he held a Sith issues DA-34 like the ones carried by his troops.

Knowing this was a mountain operation, the troops came prepared with jetpacks and shield buckers for their variable equipment. But their standard issue blaster rifles were still dangerous in their own right. They knew that Jedi would be among the forces defending and getting close was ill advised for most of them. Leave them for Wiley.

The Sith troops found an entrance to the headquarters of the mountain base. A large door entering the facility, Draugr ordered for a breach. The troops began placing explosives on the large door, and the Sith Lord took a look at who was with him. He could a Champion Aziz, and he knew Wiley was close by. The plan was coming into play. The Jedi would not be expecting this infiltration.

"Aziz, Wiley. Rally on my point the Jedi filth are close by if I know them. We must keep their attention on us until the infiltration team can do their job."

The Zabrak then looked at his troops and nodded for them to blow the door open. The explosive place on the door blew, sending the door inwards landing and sliding towards all defenders of the mountain.

"Now we fight."

Draugr then began running towards the entrance. Building a shield in a wedge shape in front of him through the force, he enters the facility ready to defend any surprise force attacks. An ignited lightsaber in his right hand, he makes his way forward and he could see what looked to be four Jedi standing back in the headquarters facility. His presence would be cold and chilling in the room.

The Zabrak looked on and knew that the Jedi outnumbered him and the two Champions but inevitably they will fall.

Deck 5 briefing room.
1 hour prior
"Yes... Understood... We'll gear up and be runners up in an hour. Yes sir. I understand sir. We'll do our duty. Rancor squad out." With that Darrand closed the feed of his comlink and turned to his men.

"Alright boys, listen up, we got ourselves some orders. Gather round, its story time." He watched as his squad, 7 men strong, all wearing forest green camo for their Imperial Assault Armor. He set his bucket down to one side and opened up the holo emitter in the briefing room.

"Here's the plan. We're running a pathfinding op, there's a command bunker in these hills, and we gotta find it. Gotta point the lightsabers to the right one, eh boys?" He indicated a specific point up in the high atmosphere, thousands of meters up.

"We will perform a HALO jump here, rendezvous at point Delta-five-niner, then we will break off into two man teams and each will take a mountain. If it's not the real deal, paint the target with your designator so the flyboys can take care of it for us. Got it? When you're done with your mountain we will converge on my team, and will begin running diversion ops to help keep the pressure off of the front line."
He indicated point Delta-Five-Niner, a position 2 klicks from where the front lines would be. He closed down the holoprojector. His voice taking a more serious tone for a moment.

"Look here, this is one thing to note. Load for rancors. There will be Jedi on the ground, if you can pull one of them off the front, play some tag and keep them occupied, but don't let that come at the cost of your life or the mission. Your buckets alone cost more to make than we all earn in a lifetime, so don't get cocky, got it? Now grab thermal dets, gauntlet bucklers, jetpacks, your laser target designators, a detpack, and a fragging puke bag for the kid. He looks ready to spew. Other than that your gear is up to you, but keep it light, we will be moving quick."
There was a rustling of armor as the other men in the room stood to attention, still smiling and laughing at his joke. One of the men, a recruit from Taris looked green to the gills, and an older man slapped him hard on the back, the clatter of armor ringing out. He heard them laugh at some muttered comment between the two and waited for them to come fully to attention.

"Let's do this one quiet, I expect to see you all in one piece on the other side of this thing. Now lets do what they pay us the big credits for and get the job done, right? Dismissed."
He made his way out of the briefing room, following the other men. Each had their own ritual, but his, his was to head down to the armory and check out the gear he was going to be using. Footsteps echoed through the hall of the ship as he walked, saluting and being saluted in time. He noted that even superior officers sometimes seemed to avoid him, perhaps it was that imposing stature of spec ops. Perhaps it was that solemn expression on his face, the hardness in his eyes. Perhaps he had kicked their asses at sabacc recently. He couldn't remember or care. It took him all of 15 minutes to make it to the armory.

"Hey Gunny, you got me the good stuff, right? You still owe me for that case of Corellian brandy I got you last shore leave, eh?" He shouted across the barrier to get the sergeant in charge of the armory's attention. The older man, in his mid 50s, smiled a grin and shouted back.

"Only the best for you and your boys, Cresta. I got the requisition orders from command for yah. Looks like you're jumping eh? What else ya need from me? I got the best set of packs I could get my hands on for ya, your target designators as well. What else ya need from me?" The older man chuckled as he set the pack down and then hoisted what appeared to be a small blaster pistol onto the counter as well. Darrand picked it up and smiled, sighting down the targeting scope and nodding to himself.

"Hahah, this will do nicely, Gunny. Now, can you get me my usual E-11D, DA-34, a gauntlet buckler, a detpack, and a thermal detonator? Gotta get loaded for a big hunt." He laughed at that, this was going to be no mean feat. In fact it was going to be quite the battle indeed. He watched as Gunny set out the requested gear. Smiling all the while. He slipped the Thermal Detonator onto a hook on his belt, and the detpack, a demolition charge capable of opening bunker doors to the opposite side of his belt, careful to keep it from the exhaust of his jetpack, for his next action was to turn and allow Gunny to hook the pack onto him, causing a beeping sound to come from his bucket where it sat on the counter. He slotted the gauntlet buckler in place as well, then turned back to Gunny, his large frame bulked up even more. He slotted the bucket onto his head, and the speakers distorted his voice as he spoke.

"Thanks Gunny. This is some quality kit. Keep an eye on this old ship here while I'm out will ya, Gunny?" Darrand slid his blaster pistol into its holster, picked up the target designator and clipped it onto his belt, and then grabbed his blaster rifle, before turning to make his way out. He was halfway to the door when he heard the shout.

"Oi! Cresta, you forgot something." Darrand spun, looking back at Gunny through a helmeted display. Targeting caught the object as it sailed towards him, and he reached out with one hand and caught the sheathe in his right hand. He slid it open to reveal a vibroknife. Laughing, he turned to toss it back to Gunny.

"I already got one of these, Gunny." Cresta patted the sheathed blade on his thigh armor.

"You can never have too many knives, Cresta. Take it from me." Gunny held up a hand missing his middle finger and saluted. "Kick some ass down there, you crazy bastard." Cresta returned the salute.

"I'll make sure I kill a Jedi for ya, Gunny." He turned and made his way out. There was still work to be done.

Now
Imperial Transport Salvation Through Pain, 9,000 meters above Wayland sea level.

The light flashed from red to green and the door to the drop ship opened. The jump master signaled. Motioning for all the men in Rancor Squad to move. And move they did, their bodies exiting the ship as they ran down the ramp and lept out into the air, black dots against the verdant green of the forest below. He could see the clearing where they were to land, if possible. He looked to the jumpmaster and nodded, giving him a thumbs up, and then he was out of the ship, the last one. The wind roared past him, loud and fast, he could feel the sinking feeling in his stomach, but it was too late now, he had to trust that Gunny had made sure he and his boys had the proper gear, well maintained and ready for field use. He felt the wind howl into his ears as he fell, and he began to arc his body, accelerating his descent, seeking to reach that terminal velocity. The altimiter in his helmet's display flashed numbers at him, a rapidly decreasing count of his altitude. 8,000... 8700... 85000... He let out a whoop of excitement, as much to fool his mind as to let out the surge of adrenaline that was running through him.

7,000

6,000

The green came up faster and faster, encompassing more and more of his view. He could see the others, he was slowly catching up to them, their bodies spread out to catch as much air resistance as possible before their jetpacks fired. He arrowed himself towards them, joining a moment later.

5,000

4,000

As one, the team fired their jetpacks. Single, short bursts at first, getting that jolt of upward thrust running down their spines. Good, none of them failed to deploy. Second, longer bursts, then back to free fall, slowly decelerating themselves.

3,000

The thrusters fired longer this time. The sustained pressure against his armor, feeling the jolt against his arms and running down his spine. his stomach was turning in knots, as it always did. He was glad the others couldn't see. He was their L.T. The one they could trust to get their back. He wanted to puke. He always did when he hit 3,000 meters.

2,000

1,000

The packs fired again, this time continuously, and they rocketed themselves towards the ground. It was time for them to land, then break off.

500

400

300

They could see the individual trees now, towering over the ground, could swerve to avoid them if they were lucky, or skilled. And thankfully they were. He was still a few hundred meters from the landing zone, he aimed himself towards the position, and made his way, hoping he would make it.

200

100

Almost there. He could see them landing now.

50

40

Tree branches whipped by him, faster and faster, just barely missing him.

30

20

10

He straightened up, arching his back so that the thrusters aimed right at the ground, and he hovered there. he let the pack go to conserve fuel

He landed with a thud, shutting off the thrusters. Just at the edge of the clearing that was Delta-Five-Niner. He drew his E-11D and looked about, noting the other men of his squad straightening as well. He laughed into the commlink.

"Okay, that was a high one, someone needs to pay off those Flyboys better next time. Kid, you okay? Go puke if you gotta, then you're with me. Cutup, you and Nines head off to point Kilo. Nexu, you and Moff head to point Echo. Toes and Darth, you make your way to point Foxtrot. Kid and I are off to Gamma. Rendezvous there when your mission is done. Remember don't take any unnecessary risks and keep it cool. We should have the element of surprise here. Maintain it."

And with that he was off running, moving swiftly through the trees, the kid following him. It was time to get to work.

To his somewhat surprise, the Jedi and their meager defense force held the line and hid behind their walls. Leaving the innocent civilians to the mercy of the Empire. A mistake by the defenders of the light. The soul who claimed the name of Aziz was shown no mercy by his teachers, and so he would give none in return.

"All units, weapons free. Kill them all." The modulated voice commanded. Without hesitation his men opened fire and man, women and children. Anyone between the landing area, and the base. It was not a large number but every life lost would ripple in the force. That fact alone amused him.

As his men went to work, the tormented champion strode to be near Darth Draugr. Arriving to his side as the doors blew on the HQ. Aziz ignited the blade in his hand as Draugr requested the champion to flank him. Reaching out with the force as one door flew inward, the took hold of the metal with an invisible hand and flung the mass of metal like a disk towards the raven haired Jedi.

Severus felt it.
Every single innocent soul being hunted down and executed by the monster's command that stood in front of him. For a brief second, he froze, the feeling of all of the pain and affliction made him sick to his stomach. Then, what snapped him out of his tunnel vision was the whirling piece of metal headed straight for him.

The black-clad Padawan was a little slow, but he ignited his lightsaber just in time to cut the shrewd metal disk in half. However, the sheer force behind the attack had knocked him off balance and he slid on his butt a few feet back. When he quickly stood back up, a sharp stinging pain raced across his left shoulder- first blood had been drawn on the battlefield.

"Coward!" He cried back at the monster. "You think killing innocence makes you stronger? I don't see anything more than a meathead- no, a child in a mask." He took his starting position with his orange blade pointed down and at the side. "Are you going to use that lightsaber or is it just for show? I need to know incase you want to play pattycake with the Force, you dick-headed mongrel." Every word dripped with venom. He picked up on some of Thelian's usual insults directed towards walls or legs to a table that he'd sometimes stub his toe on. That kid had one seriously effective vocabulary. Too bad the walls didn't have any feelings, or else they would've been hurt a long time ago.

Severus preferred fighting bigger targets anyway. Their powerful attacks helped build momentum for Severus's counters and parries, allowing for his own saber to end up swinging faster than his opponents. Makashi was perfect for using someone's own strengths against them, and though Severus was only a Padawan, this wasn't the first Sith he would best in battle.

Phantasm's breathing stopped for a moment as she felt the dead of innocent people outside the base. It weren't many, of course, civilians weren't really meant to be around these parts after all, but their lives were precious and gone regardless, every death made her wince before those doors were blown up, Phantasm moved swiftly and out of the way of the sliding door, making sure that it wouldn't hit her as collateral damage or anything like that once it was used as a projectile. Phantasm fixed her eyes on the big bad sith, Darth Draugr.

"...Obi fucking Kenobi, what vocabulary are they teaching the paddies at the temple?" She thought to herself as Severus screamed all manner of profanities at the sith...Not like she didn't understand the feelings behind those words, hell, she would actually be amused and encourage them under any other situation, but for now she had only time to slowly walk towards the dark lord of the sith.

"...You must be the one they call Darth Draugr, right?" Phantasm asked as she ignited her blade, having obviously done her research when it came to sith that were important targets. Zo kept pointing her blade at the Zabrak as she kept walking, her focus mainly on him but never dropping her guard just in case one of the siths went on the offensive or Draugr tried to suddenly attack her, calling upon the force but not using it yet, just preparing for the battle ahead "Don't expect this to go like Dantooine...Save for a couple extra lost limbs, that is." Grabbing her lightsaber with two hands and putting the right foot forward, Phantasm prepared herself to fight a bloody sith lord, not something she was thrilled to do, but she couldn't let a padawan handle that and leaving it to the other jedi knight seemed like a dick move "Let's dance, horns."

Toki gazed towards the door, though his focus was on the awful aura of death that started to fill the base. He couldn't understand this. War was between combatants. To willingly...no, gleefully slaughter civilians...it was despicable and wrong. Anyone who could justify such actions had to be stopped. He was heartbroken for those dying outside and felt awful that nothing was being done for them. Heartbroken, yet the expression in his eyes was a determined, tranquil fury. For the sake of those who they couldn't save...he would never again let his resolve be shaken so easily. "For a safer future." He said as he ignited his lightsaber, the blue blade shining brightly "I will do what must be done...for them."

When the door was breached, Toki braced himself, the force of the explosion almost sending him back a few inches. Then, Severus managed to slice it in half. As the Sith and troopers stormed in, he looked to the remnants of the door that had been split. He narrowed his eyes and focused, using the Force to lift both halves and exhaled sharply as he swiped them forward. The intent was to swing them behind the Sith fighters and slam the troopers with the remnants of the door. Once that was done, however it went, he took a deep breath to collect himself.

He spotted the Jedi that had encouraged him moments before going up against the most chilling presence he had ever felt. Not the source of the atrociously malicious joy that ordered the death of civilians, but the leader of this operation. Was this what it was like to go up against a Sith Lord? For a moment, he trembled, but tightened his grip around his saber as he approached without hesitation. He stood alongside Phantasm and took a read stance, lightsaber in both hands and blade pointed in front of him at an angle towards the Sith Lord. No words. It was time to let their actions speak and ring across the mountain.

It was as Foa Lan feared. Innocents had fallen victim to the invading marauders. "Murderous dogs!" He would seek justice for this. Not revenge, no. Such an act would be unbecoming of a Jedi Knight. But their deaths would not be in vain. He would not cower in the face of the enemy. The Kel Dor was no stranger to battle, perhaps it was because of this that the Sith's dark presence did little to deter him. If anything it further instilled in him a willingness to fight. Without the warriors of light, darkness would prevail.

Not today though. Not today. He and the other Jedi had heard the call and now rallied to make their stand. It was time to face this dreadful enemy, and drive them back into the shadows from whence they came.

As soon as the doors were breached, Foa Lan moved into action. Fragments of the doors came flying towards their defensive line; whilst others avoided the main assault, he used the Force to halt the incoming debris. Marching forward, a green saber was drawn, the improvised projectiles were tossed aside, out of the way.

The padawans were quick to react. That was good. With Zo Luna seemingly ready to confront the sith Zabrak, Foa Lan decided to instead focus his attention on the other encroaching Sith, especially the one who had initially breached the doors. The Kel Dor Knight wasn't much of a talker, so he saw no point in exchanging verbal barbs. He would let his saber do the talking and support Severus in his attack. For now at least. The young man seemed capable. If he could hold his own then Foa Lan could focus instead on the other Sith champion.

Deciding to test the mettle of him (@Darasuum), Foa Lan pushed out with the Force, attempting to fling the champion away from his sinister companions. The Kel Dor knew how some Sith acted. If even the opportunity, they'd gang up and strike any unfortunate Jedi. Unwilling to allow this, the Knight looked to start putting distance between the attackers. It would give more space to act, as well as deter others from getting caught in the crosshairs. If the Sith Champion was caught off guard, he would be flung a fair distance aside. Only then would Foa Lan move in a duel.

Darrand Cresta ran through the forest, for right now, speed was of the essence, not stealth. If they could put some distance between themselves and the front lines of the invasion, the less likely they would be to have Jedi in their faces. Sure they had some tools against the Jedi, but Sabers were better off fighting Sabers, not him and his men. He was going to bring as many back of them alive as he could. He was going to see them all through this. Well, he was going to do his damnedest to do so.

It took them quite a bit of time, the world passing them by as they moved, first at full speed, seeking to cover the 3 klicks to their target as fast as they could. Once they got within range of the bunker, they would slow down, start working stealthily, at least until that demolition charge went off and blew those doors wide open for the pair. Then the fireworks would really begin. Then things would be getting hot.

Aziz's plan was working. The waves of "needless" death would crash on the the shores of the Jedi's resolve. Testing them before any blade would cross. To his pleasure, his chosen prey had come up short. Nearly freezing in combat like a fawn in the headlights of a speeder. Saving himself only just before being be obliterated by the Sith's simple attack.

However the damage was done. Both Sith and Jedi could feel it in the force. As the boy tried to summon courage, he found only pain, and hate. His words dripping with the dark emotions. Clouding his mind, and Aziz would use that hate and anger. Answering the boy's hate fueling questions with the power of the dark side.

His weapon still in his left hand and at the ready to defend himself should he need. The Sith used his free hand to twist the force like a drill. Boring into the simple and clouded mental defenses of the Padawan. As he did so he poured in his own hate. His own anger. To twist and corrupt the young Jedi's mind. To break it. This was a technique the Sith learned first hand from his Master's, it would be one he would be pleased to share this poor soul already dancing on the razor's edge.

Well well well. Seemed that Draugr was well known among the Jedi. The Knight walking forward had called him by name, something he would need to become used to now. Then she mentioned Dantooine. Although Xeno had failed to defeat his opponent, Draugr had come out of the shadows of Dathomir and made him the Lord to be feared. Xeno would not need be in control of the Dathomiri decisions, no Draugr is who he is now. This will not be changed.

"Seems to be the Jedi are quite familiar with my name... but unfortunately history will not get the chance to remember you even existed."

Draugr under most circumstances would move in to attack, but there were two ready to fight him. So instead the Lord stood tall, and took a defensive stance. His right hand gripped firmly around his saber and his left flexing his fingers towards himself to taunt the Jedi into attack. Defense would be his offense against the numbers advantage.

"Prove me wrong..."

It looked like the Sith wanted to play pattycake with the Force and Severus's insults didn't do the job as expected. He didn't say those words because he was angry, however, they were taunts to get the Sith to fight Severus. Instead, the Sith launched a mental assault on the black-haired boy, pressing harshly of feelings of hate, anger, fear, and pain.

Severus immediately began doing what he learned from Alym Marr- thinking of a mundane chore that he could hold on to, that being reading through a physical biology book with pages, a hard cover, and everything. It was hard- the caged monster inside Severus was rattling it's cage and begging to be set free. This inward moral battle shook Severus to the core- between reading the book in his head and the feelings of rage being pressed into his conscious.

He had to fight it, so he decided to continue with his taunts- anger slowly building inside him whether he liked it or not.
"So...you're just going to amplify the feelings I already fought off?...Okay. You're not helping your case. At all. It's pathetic- Are you actually a Sith, or just a toddler in disguise? I can't tell." He grit his teeth as the dark emotions continued to pulse towards his mind. This wasn't going to end well for Aziz, as the last time Severus used his passion in battle, he bested the same Sith not once, but twice.

Severus decided to make the first move if the Kid-Sith wasn't going to do anything, lunging forward and swing his cross-guard blade at Aziz's right shoulder diagonally so the blade would slash across his chest with another quick jab towards the stomach and another swing cutting horizontally at the Sith's left side. Severus's quick attacks would hopefully be able to break any concentration Aziz had as he would need to block and parry the attacks- which Severus had intended for him to do.

While Aziz showed his violent side by firing on civilians, Wiley focused on making sure he and his own weren't taken advantage of as they advanced. He was at the rear of the group and thus watched in amazement as a lone jedi strode out into the middle of combat towards him and ignoring the rest of the other Sith he drew closer to. He would be easily flanked come out to meet Wiley on the mountainside.

The hand of Wiley carrying a hilt would outstretch at the first sign of the jedi and pull. The appendage came from Wiley as the enemy dropped telekinetically moving the debris that would have been shrapnel. The Champion's own intent was to pull the legs of @Foa Lan out from under him and likely drag him closer and even further out away from the defensive line he had departed from. Furthermore it would prevent him from letting out any other offensive attack.

Wiley would do as Draugr did and make a wedge in the Force to close the distance remaining towards the Jedi. The champion was at the back of the group and thus, come to him would turn out to be a mistake. If he managed to let out a push, it would be plied in two like the hull of a ship through water.
