Ask Invasion Sith Invasion on Wayland

Darrand would find himself spotted by enemy soldiers, a group trying to outmanouver and flank them, unfortunately for both groups, a confrontation was now inevitable and it didn't take long for Zo to hear of this over comms...A distraction, this was a distraction, or at the very least not the only route the enemy was taking, but Phantasm couldn't just leave and let the others handle the monster in front of him without her...And then she saw Toki, so ready to stand besides her, Phantasm would really appreciate the help against a sith lord...But she knew she couldn't afford it.

"Did you hear what they said over comms? I need you to help them, I'll take care of this." Phantasm said at Toki before making her way towards the sith lord, trusting the padawan would be able to take care of it, it was certainly less dangerous than fighting a sith lord, at the very least.

Always alert just in case the sith wanted to start with a force attack, Phantasm would start with a stab towards Darth Draugr's center of mass, grabbing it with her right hand, making sure to not overextend and step back if it failed, it was an opening move, Phantasm was sure the sith lord would properly parry it or try and inconvenience her one way or the other, but she would react and adapt.

[Toki Ketra]

Toki looked towards the Sith Lord, then back at Phantasm when they she addressed him. He worried about her going up against the lord alone, but she was right. The battle here was a distraction while another squad went for what the enemy was truly after. He nodded at Phantasm and waited for her to attack the Sith Lord before making his move.

He leaped off to the side, kicking off the ground with his natural capabilities. The distance and speed was impressive, and he wasn't even bolstering himself with the force. Though as he landed, he channeled the force and launched forward in a burst of speed towards the door and attempted to weave through the troopers in order to start making his way to the source of the comm signal.

Once through and outside, he'd make his way through the woods and keep an watch for any signs of conflict. He kept his saber off, not wanting its light to alert anyone to his presence. His robes definitely weren't the ideal color for blending in either way, but whatever helped. He heard some rustling nearby and went to investigate. The soldiers that discovered the trooper squad had begun their attack as Toki approached. The soldiers made way for Toki as he stepped through the middle and presented himself. He ignited his lightsaber and took a stance. Would their discovery and the appearance of a Jedi partially demoralize them? Or would the fight harder? Only time would tell as the soldiers continued their advance.

 

[Aziz]

The young Jedi was strong willed indeed and not nearly as weak and he seemed. Still, as strong willed as he was Aziz could feel the dark side working to break him. He could sense what the boy failed to admit to himself. The Jedi was losing control to the monster locked away within, and it would cost him greatly.

The Padawan gave into passion, however failed to use the force in any way in his novice attacks on the Sith. It did cause Aziz did halt his attack on the boy’s mind, but only to augment his own body with the dark side. To move with preternatural speed. The marauder countered the first swing from the Jedi by dodging to the Jedi’s right, just as the jedi started to swing down and across. As he moved out of the way of the swing, he turned to flank the still lunging Jedi. Swinging his own red blade low to the side and back of the Padawan’s right leg, intending to sever the leg just above the knee.

Committed to his series of attacks, the Padawan next foolishly and wildly jabbed forward with his weapon. But Aziz was already at the Jedi’s right flank. Aziz merely back swung slightly upward after striking the right leg. Intending to slicing away at the right hip area now.

As the Jedi’s “passion” failed to realize he was already doomed. The foolish boy would continue to swing a third time, to nothing but air as it were. Aziz, still at the Jedi’s right flank. His red blade now behind the boy, simply plunging the blade into the Jedi’s lower back. Just above his tailbone, and likely running him through to the belly.

For all his blustering, it was the Jedi who was indeed a child fighting in a man’s world. In a Sith’s world. Either way he was likely dead or dying now. So the Sith placed his blade before him and readied himself for the next challenge. If all these Jedi were as foolish as this one, it would be a quick victory.

[Darth Draugr]

The two Jedi stood in front of him ready to fight, though after an announcement of Sith troops making way to the Command Center was sent through the intercoms the Knight seemed to be worried. They wanted to go stop the infiltration but instead sent the lower ranking. The Padawan would run off to try to stop Darrand, but the Knight stayed to try to defend the mountain base. Takes a lot of courage to face the likes of a Sith Lord alone, or in this case a lot of stupidity.

Draugr watched as the Jedi moved forward and sent a jab of the lightsaber to try to poke him. Simple maneuver, but of course it was easy to parry. Draugr would easily step to the left while turning his blade in a clockwise motion to block the jab and send it to his right, her left. This would leave the Jedi with her right side exposed, allowing for Draugr to counter by blasting a short burst of force lightning to the side of the Jedi. Should the counter hit she would be sent back away from the Lord creating space for the Lord to debate how to finish her off.

"Jedi are so predictable..."

The Zabrak would stand tall and await to see how the Jedi would respond to the electric moves Draugr had shown in this duel already. Would she experience fear? Anger? Hatred? Time will tell as Draugr continues this battle.

[Darrand Cresta]

Darrand slowed down, his steps placed more carefully. He could see the enemy beginning to move towards them, blaster bolts ringing past his head as the squad of troopers laid down a curtain of fire. He ducked behind a large tree and looked to his right seeking out the kid about 20 meters to his left, also hunkered down behind the tree. He caught his breath, fast, hyperventilating to increase the flow of adrenaline into his system to help speed up his reactions. He looked to the kid and motioned for him to begin flanking, slowly, stealthily. The kid would handle the squad while Darrand, the veteran drew fire. The blaster bolts slowed, and Darrand peaked his head out, seeing a volley come right towards him.

Damn, they have the high ground. He thought to himself as he pondered the situation. He had to be loud, obnoxious, a real pain in the ass for these soldiers, keep them looking at him. He turned, stepping out from behind the tree, expecting another flurry of blaster bolts directed towards him. He waited to feel the impact, to feel the sharp pain that would spell his doom, but nothing came. He ran closer, weaving between trees, keeping his profile as low as he could without eliminating himself as a target. When he was about 20 meters out and still not being shot. Darrand saw why, the ranks parting as the robed man walked forward, and then he heard the familiar snap-hiss of the blade as it was brought up into a fighting stance.

"Saber on the field, boys. On my position. Proceed to targets, I'll keep him busy." Darrand said into the commlink in his helmet as he ducked behind the tree, right where the Jedi could see him, but not see what he was planning.

Darrand dropped the blaster rifle, and instead drew a vibroknife with his right hand, the left hand remaining free for the gauntlet buckler. He kicked the rifle near the tree in front of him, away from where he stood now, ready to be used when he might need to fall back.

"Never thought the Jedi would be using children to fight real soldiers, can't say I'm surprised though... too busy meditating to fight a real war." Darrand shouted as he began to run towards the nearest tree to his and the Jedi's left, about 5 meters away. He had to lose the Jedi, use cover and concealment, as well as surprise, to his advantage while the kid slipped into position, then off to the target.

[Severus Creed]

His stomach dropped as the Sith easily dashed to the left, avoiding the Padawan's attack and swung low, severing off Severus' lower leg. Unbelievable pain shut up through the Padawan like a hurricane- pain fueling anger fueling hate -the Dark Side pulsed through Severus Creed like a hurricane as time seemed to slow down and he got a good look at the masked being before him- just like Rha'go Dominus but seemingly better.

It wasn't like Severus to be so slow and unable in the heat of battle- but the Dark Side had sidetracked him, bidding him power while he fought that very power that cut off his leg. The pain was like a cold fire bruning over his thigh that he couldn't put out!

Severus used his passion as a focal point as it only funneled his vision on Aziz and Aziz alone.

He needed to think fast.

Severus fell to the ground, dropping his lightsaber as well, avoiding the other attacks Aziz had planned, the crimson saber swinging at air, and with every ounce of fury that was whirling around in him, he let the beast go on a rampage as it had wanted to for years now- every "accidental" shove in the hallway, every time someone called him 'Snivelus Creep', every glare of disgust, Thelian's hate-filled glare, every brand forced into his skin- every poke at the slumbering monster was remembered and tallied down. Every time someone poked and prodded at him like a lab rat fueled this forbidden fire.

Crackling energy flew from his outstretched hands in powerful bursts of raw energy, flaying itself right for the Sith who felled the boy's leg, ripping up the flooring in a straight line as it barreled towards it's target. Severus roared, not out of agony, but out of wrath as he let loose on the Sith with every once of stamina he had left to muster, the Force rushing towards the man with the force of a freight trains, powerful enough to send him flying into the back wall if he wasn't prepared. It wass raw, pure, and powerful, ripping apart his black sleeves so the several Crimson Dawn crests that were branded to his skin could be seen perfectly going up his arms starting at his wrists. It was a relentless force that, most likely, would've plowed through the Sith's defenses and was probably too quick to dodge.

Then, as Severus finished his electrical onslaught, he blacked out from the sudden extreme loss of stamina and fatigued had gripped him, causing him to fall unconscious on the battlefield.

[Toki Ketra]

Toki looked around and watched as the enemy squad split up. He looked back at the soldiers with him and spoke so that only they could hear "Fan out, but stick to small groups. Don't get taken out one by one." He said as they nodded and started to spread out and keep their eyes on the foliage and trees for any sign of enemy activity. Each small group separated by about 10 meters, so that a thermal detonator wouldn't get them all in the event they were used. In an attempt to flush some of them out, they would fire three round bursts into any sign of movement, and even started to push large rocks down the hill to keep the pressure on. They were vigilant, and swept the area as best they could in preparation for an attack or ambush.

Once the soldiers were in position, Toki's keen hearing heard Darrand's comments, and all he could do was sigh. Darrand was fighting his side of the war just as he was. He winced slightly at the slight hypocrisy in his words...mocking the Jedi for sending their pupils into battle, when the Sith just ordered the slaughter of innocents, children included.

When he heard some blaster fire, he took advantage of the noise and leapt into one of the trees and turned his saber off for the time being. He kicked off on tree and held onto the trunk of the one Darrand was hiding near originally. He looked to his left, and spotted him near another. Once the sound of rocks and blaster fire rang out again, he took a deep breath and jumped towards Darrand in an attempt to ambush him. He ignited his saber and gripped it in both hands as he slashed downwards with his descent. As he landed, he tensed his body and used that momentum from the first slash to deliver a follow-up upwards slash in quick succession before he stepped back to keep the man at saber's length. "I am here of my own volition. From your words you are against the idea of children being involved in war...in that case, do you not have a problem with those you fight with gleefully ordering the slaughter of innocent civilians? Children included?"

[Zo Luna]

Of course, the simple stab would be parried to the side and the darth lord would try to take advantage of it, it was something Phantasm guessed could happen, and she was ready to react against it. The moment she felt herself being parried, her right foot would drag backwards as she twisted the lower half of her body to the right and crossed her other arm as well, positioning it under her right armpit, her position would be a bit awkward, but it would be enough for her to use that hand she had decided to leave free for a reason in order to call upon the force and block that short instance of force lightning, not as defenseless as Draugr thought she was, a single step to one side not being enough to leave her totally defenseless.

The hand that blocked the force lightning would quickly be pulled back, and with it Darth Draugr's right leg would also be pulled upwards and towards her right side. At the same time her right hand would come from her side back to the center with a diagonal and upward slash that would attempt to take care of that leg. Her reasons for such a specific attack were many: For starters, pulling that would make it almost impossible for the sith to counterattack with a lightsaber attack towards her right side, the rest of the body falling back as a result, which would be combined with both the fact that her stab was a meticulous one that didn't put her too close to the zabrak, the step backwards she previously took to defend herself and the fact that the leg itself would just be in the way in general, the Zabrak would probably need to be careful not to cut himself with the lightsaber positioned in such a way after the first parry.

Regardless of the result of the attack, Phantasm would be pivoting over her left leg and looking back at Darth Draugr in no time, as the rest of her body would start being oriented towards the Zabrak once more as the slash came, the fact that the slash and the pull were being done at the same time meaning her right side wouldn't be as awkward after the initial burst of lightning.

[Aziz]

Aziz watched as the boy's eyes went wide and his jaw slack. A blink of an eye before suddenly being out of the way of the Jedi's attack. His red blade cut apart the Jedi's leg just as quick. The padawan his the floor of the base almost instantly, before the marauder had the opportunity to finish the job.

However the damage was done. The young man surrendered do the will of the dark side and unleashed it's fury toward Aziz. All the pain, hate, and anger the boy could muster and he unleashed it all at once. The attack was indeed quick, to quick to move out of the way. However not so quick that Aziz could not defend from the assault.

The Sith would lift his right hand to meet the raw energy. As he was a dark side force user he knew it well, and knew how to defend himself from it. Using Tutaminis, he out stretched his hand to absorb the raw energy and dissipate it, returning it to the dark side from which it was drawn. As he was not yet strong enough in the art to redirect the attack, absorbing would be the best that he could do.

When the Jedi was finished, both Sith and Jedi would be fatigued. Aziz needed to regain some of his stamina back, and would do so by drawing once more on the dark side. His right hand, slightly burned from the attack, would suddenly draw energy from the defenseless Jedi draining what little stamina and force was left. It would not kill the boy, but it would allow Aziz to get back in the fight a little sooner.

[Darth Draugr]

The Knight was able to keep herself from suffering the wrath of the lightning blast that came from the Dathomiri Sith Lord. Clever Knight but she was not clever enough. Zo attempted to use the force to pull Draugr's right leg upwards towards her blade, but he knew she would attempt to use the force on him as soon as she could, it seemed all Jedi knew how to do these days. So using the strength of his body he would pull back on his leg fighting the hindered strength of the force pull, keeping his leg out of harms way, though the pull would still move his leg outward towards the blade. With enough strength in the pull away from the blade and a little help from the force, Draugr was able to narrowly escape losing another limb.

The Jedi's right hand holding the lightsaber would be slashing upwards diagonally. The blade missing it's target ever so slightly would be sent into the air, Draugr knowing that if he was to go for a jab with the blade in his right hand she could bring the blade back down onto his forearm so instead he pulled his second lightsaber out igniting it, and sending it in a jab motion towards the Knight's right side towards the center of mass. The Sith Lord's right lightsaber would strike at the Jedi's own saber to prevent the block or counter attack with her blade.

The Sith would place his leg back to the ground before this giving him a strong base and freedom of movement to react to any counters that could be made. If she fails to prevent the jab in any way, she would be fairly injured, but luckily he aimed for taking her out of the fight, not out of life. She seemed like she knew what she was doing but was she a match for Draugr's combat experience? That answer will be given in these next few moments.

[Darrand Cresta]

Darrand sprinted towards the tree, he could hear the sounds of blaster fire as the squad began to engage the kid. The kid was good, he used cover well, sticking behind trees, moving carefully in the lulls between volleys of blaster fire. The kid was a good shot, and he chose his ground well, despite the superior entrenchment of the foe, the kid had even earned a few kills, carefully placed headshots taking down two of the foes, but it was one against many, and he was slowly being pushed back. Darrand knew he needed to get there. The kid had fallen back 30 meters now, putting some significant distance between him and the group of now three men who were shooting back at him. A good plan, a solid plan, and easily implemented.

He heard the snap-hiss of the lightsaber and spun, stepping forward towards the airborne Jedi with his left foot, and bringing his right foot back so he was standing to the Jedi's right, the blade passing harmlessly by him, a hair's breadth from him. The blade was being brought back up now, and Darrand stepped with his left foot, sliding forward, his thumb hitting the activation switch of the vibroblade, as he slid it forward, swinging to bring it around and into the Jedi's gut while he spoke. No response, no statement at all, just cold, emotionless, ruthless killing, as any Sith Soldier might be capable of.

So that's how it was going to be. So be it, the time for any talk is now over, and with that Toki would begin battle in earnest. This man was skilled and experienced...excellent footwork suited for a close range encounter. As Darrand brought his blade towards Toki's gut, he stepped back and to the right with his right foot and pivoted his body to the side to the left to narrowly avoid getting disemboweled. As he did this he swept his left foot back and it settled behind his right. He had to consider his next moves carefully...a misstep and he'll end up getting a knife planted into him.

Now back to a neutral stance, he kept Darrand at saber's length. He felt something terrible...the battle back at the command center was not going in their favor...and that surge of dark energy from...Severus? He grit his teeth and steeled himself further. He cannot, will not be demoralized. He would have time to lament later. For now, Toki had to keep the pressure on Darrand to keep him from rejoining his troops. He would step forward to Darrand's left side with his right foot and attempt to reposition himself there. During the step, he would deliver a swift, two handed slash horizontally towards Darrand's stomach. However, at a certain point of the swing, he let go of the saber with his left hand, leaving it only in his right hand. With his left hand he delivered a wave of Force energy to push Darrand towards a nearby tree. If this was successful, he would lunge towards Darrand and slash diagonally from Darrand's right arm down to his left him in an attempt to cleave him in two.

The defending squad continued to harass Darrand's teammate with blaster fire, discreetly setting him trip mines against the bases of trees to limit his advance. They backed up to their advantageous high ground to and stuck behind trees and foliage to avoid being easy pickings for the skilled trooper they were up against., all while keep an eye on the left and right perimeters in case he tried to work his way to either side.

The moment the blade narrowly missed Darth Draugr, Phantasm knew what she had to do, not giving him the chance to lower his leg back again, Phantasm's left foot went forward at the same time she extended her arm and grabbed the airborne leg by the ankle before it got out of her reach,, if the force pull didn't fully do the trick, then she would finish it the old fashioned way, pulling the leg upwards once again while using the force to strengthen her strength for that moment, force enchancement was a bit on the draining side of force powers, she would be tired after the next gambit, but this was possibly what would decide the fight.

This by itself would make it a bit harder for Draugr to jab at her right side, which would buy her a precious second or two, but it wasn't the only thing she was planning. Draugr blocked Phantasm's blade, but without a properly balanced position and a leg airborne (and the fact that Phantasm did increase her strength to also grab that leg) Phantasm would certainly win that clash, the lightsabers clashing resulting in the Zabrak's one being directed away, much like what happened to Phantasm before, instead of locking like he would have hoped for. Of course, Phantasm wouldn't have enough time to overpower that side before that jab did some serious damage or maneouver her whole arm and parry the other lightsaber, but she didn't need to do that, all she needed to do was to flick her wrist to point outwards and then click a special button in her lightsaber.

Suddenly, a second blade would come from the opposite side of the hilt, emerging and heading straight to the Zabrak's leg before cutting throught it and blocking away the jab, a simple upwards motion being all that was needed thanks to the blade's length and the fact that the leg had previously been directed towards the center, all while her torso rotated a little bit to the right to make her right side a smaller target, being the center of mass targeted towards it.

Of course, Phantasm had taken many things into account to try such a gambit: The surprise factor that came from the fact her lightsaber was a two bladed one disguised as a normal one, the fact that the moment Draugr reached for a second lightsaber he wouldn't be able to use force powers as effectively without a free hand, his lack of balance adding to the time it would take Draugr to reach for his second lightsaber and take a jab at her center of mass towards her right side, which was a smaller target because of her position, all of it would help to make such an unconventional attack have a better chance of landing, but only time would tell if it paid off.

Many things were taken into account for her to try such a reckless thing, to try and finish Draugr so quickly: They were losing, she felt how Severus lost in the force, she felt how he used the force with so much emotion out of desperation, she felt how he tapped into the dark side, she needed to quickly beat the demon in front of her to help him, otherwise she wouldn't just face off against a sith lord, she would also be outnumbered.

[Aziz]

The fallen Jedi would have little left in the tank so to speak. But it was enough. Enough for the Aziz to get his breath and ready himself for the final round. Enough for him to focus on his next target. The knight who led the fool padawan into battle and left him to fall victim to his emotions and to the wrath of Aziz.

The Marauder took notice that she was starting to get the upper hand. Proving to be a capable challenge for the Lord. However in her haste to try and finish the Zabrak quickly she left herself open. Aziz drew on utter disgust and hate for the Jedi and poured it into his connection with the dark side. Reaching out with the force to snatch Zo around the throat and squeeze, just before she her attempt to activate the hidden blade of her hilt.

As the two were only a few meters away from Aziz it was a simple attack. However a taxing one after having to defend from the lighting. He had the energy for perhaps several moments, but it would likely be all he needed. Closing his fist, the invisible claw of the dark side would quickly start to close around the Jedi's neck, closing off her airway and her options.

[Darrand Cresta]

So the Jedi wanted to fight, that was good. That was what he wanted. As the Jedi stepped to his side, Darrand moved with him, stepping with his left foot and keeping his face to Toki's. He kept facing him, stepping back as the swinging blade came to a stop and he felt himself flung back towards the three behind him. He toughed the haptic sensor in his palm, the jetpack flaring to life, and just before he collided with the tree, he shot upwards. Branches clattered to the ground as he approached the treetops. He reached down and drew his blaster pistol. He thumbed the selection stud, setting it to stun. One, two, three rings of bluish light shot out at Toki as Darrand began to back away from the Jedi as he hovered in midair.

Meanwhile, the kid was still falling back, slowly ducking from cover to cover, running between trees. They had to buy themselves more time, had to keep the Jedi here occupied and off of the other mountains, had to give his men chances for them to locate the true command center. The kid, reached down and hurled a thermal detonator at the squad which was backing him away. Even if the blast only took one of the men in the squad, it would keep the heads down on the others. Which the Kid was going to take advantage of. The kid lit his own jetpack, using it to hurtle him towards the enemy lines as the device exploded.

[Darth Draugr]

The Jedi looked to grasp the Sith's ankle trying to grab it with her hand, but Draugr noticed this attempt, a simple pull of his leg to the outside would leave him returning his leg to underneath him and her own leg would be left extended forward on the ground opening up her right side and center of her torso, leaving her slightly off balance. The Zabrak's speed enhancement to his leg's return would solidify the maneuver around her hand. Not to mention the blade of her lightsaber would only come short of reaching it's target being his leg.

Then with the help of Aziz, she would be grasped by the force around her throat. This would leave her open for attack, one leg extended forward, caught off balance in a force choke and she seemed to have ignited her second blade on the hilt of her saber, Draugr would maneuver his arm back into position by the time she had attempted her attack to the leg that made it back safely by only hairs. With her blade extended to the left side of her body reaching for his right leg, and being choked by the force, Draugr would be able to bring his right blade down to block the bottom blade of her double sided Lightsaber on his left, her right, side of said lightsaber keeping it in a blade lock and leaving her right side exposed once more. His left would jab forward into her stomach to remove her from the fight.

The assistance of a two on one assault, being the Lord's speed thrust into her center mass, and the force being coiled and squeezed around her throat, she would be left with few, if any, options before she was stabbed by Draugr's blade and left on the ground for the troops to rid of.

[Toki Ketra]

Toki turned and gazed upwards as Darrand took flight. He thought to pursue, but going after an enemy with the height advantage while they also had a ranged weapon would only lead to defeat. When Darrand fired the three stun blasts, Toki brought his saber in front of him to dissipate one with a deft parry and another at the last second. However, an explosion from thermal detonator rang out in the distance which caught his attention. This lapse in attention would prove to be a mistake, as the last stun shot caught just below his left shoulder, which spasmed and was now numbed and limp to his side.

Frustrated that he let himself be disabled like this, he darted towards the trees to keep light of sight off him as he went in the direction of the explosion. It must be Darrand's squad mate. If that was the case, he was about to attempt something risky and try to confront them both despite his current disadvantage. As he dashed through the trees, he spotted another enemy trooper pressing the advantage against a scattered squad. The thermal detonator caused a slight chain reaction with the trip mines, which caused further injury to Toki's allied squad. He reached his right hand out, trembling as he tried to keep hold of his saber as well as he tried to hold back the enemy with the Force "Go!" He shouted to one of the survivors "...there are too few here...there must be more across the mountains. Leave these ones to me and find them! Take some beacons and activate them when you've found more! Hurry!" He said, before he relented on the force holding back the trooper. The allied squad member nodded and scrambled to his feet to retreat further into the foliage. Whether or not they would be successful, only time would tell.

Toki would cover their escape by rushing to Darrand's ally and making a one-handed, upwards slash at an arc. This was an attempt to take out their arms or at the very least their weapon's barrel. Toki knew he was essentially outmatched here, but he had to do what he could to buy even just a few more minutes and gain more intel for his side, which it desperately needed.

Many things were happening at once, yet...The damage was already done, for Draugr was a master of the dark side, but not a master of the force as a whole, and one of the applications he had gone for wouldn't work here: Force speed had one clear application, to have the user quickly move from one place to another, be it in bursts or by sprinting. However, things such as swinging your arms and making your moves quicker in combat were out of the picture when using such a move, and without it, Phantasm would, indeed, be able to grab his leg. His attempt to outmaneuver a hand with an out of position leg in the manner he went for would not be possible. And since this was his only defense against the lightsaber, he would be able to block it like he wanted to with his lightsaber...after it severed the leg.

Of course, while doing this, there were many things taken into account, Phantasm did notice the force choke around her neck but she decided to commit to her moves first, because a force choke unimpeded would choke out a person after 5-10 seconds, and since her newest opponent was as tired as she was, maybe even more, it would certainly take longer than 5 seconds to choke her out, while fully activating the lightsaber and cutting the leg would take two and a half to three and at a half at most, taking into account the time it took her to shake off the surprise of the force choke and the trouble she had breathing as she started to black out. Had he gone for something more instant, she would've been in even more trouble, but thankfully, this was something she could still do even while losing her strength.

After the lightsabers collided and the Zabrak was legless, unbalanced and in deep pain, it wouldn't be too hard for her to force the lightsabers to go to the right and block the second one as well, should Draugr even be able to try to do that jab as he would be falling backwards. For safety measures she would also pivot over her left leg away from the second lightsaber and turn off the bottom blade, not as unbalanced as the Sith lord would think since her step would be more than solidified by then, seeing how she stepped forward at the beginning to grab that leg, which meant these moves wouldn't be that hard to pull off.

While deflecting and defending herself from the lightsabers with one hand, the one that was free would call upon the force to try and free her throat from the threat of the other sith's grasp, still not out of it as she gasped for air, she could've gone for something more offensive, but truth is she was tired and would employ most of her focus on the force to protect herself from now on.

After all of this, Phantasm would stay on the defensive and back away from both the sith lord and the sith champion, ready for a last resort from Draugr or a sprint forward from Aziz to try his luck in lightsaber range, her lightsaber in front of her as she gasped for air, which would slowly but surely enter her body...should her defense against the choke go uninterrupted, that's it, it would take a bit of time for her to be able to breathe freely once again.

[Wiley Winnz]

The daring Jedi was dispatched for now. His light and presence gone from the fight and no longer a concern for Wiley. The Champion had continued his hike up the mountainside and crested where the entrance to the internal halls sat. His right hand holstered his side arm. Afterwards he flexed the black gloved hand into a fist. "Hmm...there's a word for when you have a feeling of something that's already happened before?" His muffled Ossein accent asked one of the officers just a few meters away. "Sir?" She replied quizzicly. "Ajan Kloss...that's what it is. Lots of padawans there too. Let's see, does it make the check list?" He mused to himself and counted out several criteria before deciding it was unique enough to not be forgotten in a decade. Probably. What was I doing a decade ago today? He thought as the sound of combat continued ahead.

A report came in to interrupt these things as tredbikes mentioned spotting a jedi at a distance on the mountain side engaging Cresta's forces. "Run them down." He replied almost apathetically. The religious fools of the Jedi Order shouldn't expect to just run about on the mountainside unhindered. Furthermore the airdropped troops could use some reinforcements right about now.

The Jedi that Darth Draugr, Aziz and He were now engaging seemed to be a Knight, not a master. Extending his free right hand, the Champion of the Dark Side would cease any further retreat by the human Jedi. "To late now!" He shouted menacingly so friends and foe could hear his statement. Wiley's grasp with the dark side would freeze Zo Luna in an attempted stasis. She already looked to be tired and Wiley hadn't exerted himself nearly at all. Both of his fellow Sith were closer and in a better position to make a melee strike or knock her out in some other way if they wanted to take her alive.

"You won't escape." He continued. Everything so far had been making sure that if any of these 'warriors of peace' lived they wouldn't evade the Sith Order for long. Sufficed to say Wiley was motivated. Wiley would relate stasis to that of sleep paralysis. Perhaps that was how Zo would feel as she was approached by a different set of demons.

[Aziz]

Aziz pouring nearly everything he had into the dark side to slowly squeeze the life out of the Jedi. Tougher then she looked, the woman did not resist the choke, rather using what little time she had to continue the fight. To go down swinging, so to speak. Admirable, but futile. So what if she took the Lord's leg. It would not be the first, nor the last time.

However in her need try to "finish off" the Lord, the Knight would allow Aziz the opportunity to close the distance. As he was only a few meters away to begin with, this was easily done while the Jedi was focused on slicing and blocking the Zabrak. In fact so focused was she on defeating the Sith Lord, she left her back exposed to Aziz.

By the time the Jedi thought to attempt to counter the choke it was to late. Even so she was not directly targeting Aziz, rather vaguely using her own telekinetic force ability to try and push his invisible grip away? This would be further hindered by the other Champion, Wiley. Who also seemed to have the Jedi in yet another grip of the dark side. Fatigued as both Zo and Aziz were, He could to little to close his grip, and she little to open her airway if she continued to resist. However if she did continue to resist she would have no effect on the other Sith's stasis effect.

Held as she was, back to still to Aziz. As the Jedi tried to backup, held or at least slowed by both Champions. Aziz returned the favor of taking the Sith Lord's legs and with his still activated blade in his left hand, sliced the Jedi's legs at the knees from left to right. It would be all Aziz has left in the tank so to speak, but with the assistance of Wiley it would by the dark side be enough to win the day for the Empire.
