Something immediately felt off about the room Kyssiara's fellow acolyte had revealed. It was the abandoned ruins of a medbay, sure, but there was more too it than that. It felt too still, too quiet; a creepy atmosphere made worse by the unsettling feeling of being watched. No, not just watched — stalked.
They weren't alone.
Before the girl could mention anything to the rest of the group, Kyssiara felt a small wave resonate through the Force. The familiar feeling that all Force users knew to mean imminent danger, a feeling immediately confirmed by a rush of movement in the periphery of her vision. She whipped around to face the lunging creature, both hands extended as she instinctively channeled the Dark Side through the hand sign she'd prepared. The Pureblood aimed to unleash a powerful blast of flame from her fingertips to not only push her attacker away, but set the creature ablaze in the process.
