Sin's Personal Armor



A suit of light armor made by Sin Windrider in the customs of the Knights of Ren. The suit consists of a worn silver duraplast helmet, modified from an original Mandalorian helmet. The t-visor and face plate modded with a voice scrambler, rebreather, and upgraded HUD systems. Inspired by the Sith Lord Vader, and fellow Knight @Adenn Ren . The rest of the armor being simple black jedi robes with cosmetic silver duraplast shoulder pieces, and black blast vest, over a black armorweave bodysuit. Giving an imposing sinister look while offering limited light protection.




LEGALITY

Thought to be illegal in most systems of the galaxy, due to it's dark side religious appearance

Type and Coverage

Type: Light/Medium/Heavy Armor

Coverage: (Coverage regions for Light armor is 1-3 regions, Medium is 4-5, Heavy is 6-7)


  • Head: A full coverage duraplast helmet with transparisteel visor
  • Torso: Removable duraplast blast plates, covering the the vital organs on the chest and back.






Functions



Function 1: Voice Scrambler.

  • For the unusually paranoid, this helmet function can scramble a person's voice to unintelligible garbage, while allowing commlink conversations to continue as normal. Alternatively, it can be used to "digitize" a voice into a deep bass tone.
Function 2: Survival HUD.

  • Reads atmosphere composition and detects toxins.
Function 3: Scout HUD.

  • Contains a 4x magnifier and Compass.
Function 4: Rebreather.

  • Rebreathers allow for a person to survive underwater or in space for brief amounts of time by scrubbing CO2 from their exhaled breath. Generally this lasts for 3-4 posts, but heavy exertion can shorten that time.
Function 5: Armorweave.

  • Most often in the form of a cape or underlay beneath armor, armor weave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered low velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons. Having more than one accessory (example: Cape + underweave) provides no additional effect.
