DESCRIPTION​

A gun that shoots out a large hook connected via syntherope, which is a strong synthetic rope with a tensile strength 10 times greater than durasteel . The shot is powerful enough to puncture and latch onto most surfaces, but it can also be used as a standard hook. The gun has an automatic wench system on top which will quickly reel itself in, via squeezing the trigger once again after firing. It is advised to connect the gun to oneself via a connected harness, as the force of the wench is strong enough to possibly dislocate a shoulder. The speed at which someone will be pulled depends entirely on their own weight. On its own, the wench takes up to 5 seconds to completely wind all the rope back up.

Due to the wench system being put on top of the gun, there are no sights. Therefore it is quite difficult to aim the SGG-50, and requires a lot of experience to consistently hit the correct point especially at maximum distances. The wench system cannot be taken off of the gun. The hook of the gun will automatically open to latch onto any object. When the user no longer needs the hook to be latched, there is a button on the side of the gun which will force the hook to unlatch.

Couldn't find a write up for a grapple gun even though it was mentioned in the grapple armor function. Also to be used by one of my characters.
