The planet of Kooriva in the Inner Rim was a relatively small player in the galactic stage, just slightly off to the side of its jewel of a neighbor Bestine and Thyferra. Though the war had raged heavily in the nearby systems, first with the Killik threat and then the Sith Empire, the Koorivar had flourished under a thin veil of neutrality.
The empire itself was going through an interesting series of developments and while a state of war technically existed between it and the ISC/FWA there had not been any significant push in some time. The ISB, as always, continued to work in the background. Whether the war was won or lost it didn't matter, preparation and subterfuge could exist inside their own vacuum waiting to be utilized or not.
To outright attack, either the ISC or FWA would be silly at this point and time, given the circumstances. But that didn't mean that disruption couldn't be applied in the hands of another, outside group. Fortunately for the ISB, there was an easy answer to a difficult task. Rumor was that a small band of pirates had been last seen engaging in piracy near Mechis III, and while an NR bounty on their head was a tempting endeavor, the more interesting opportunity was ensuring that they would be able to operate independently for some time.
ISB assets were able to locate several of their members committing petty crimes in Kooriva, seemingly biding their time for their next big job. That job would set the raiding group up nicely with a nest egg and outfit themselves with enough gear to properly harass our enemies. However, these pirates are lacking in several key areas in order to complete this job, mostly in the technical and covert departments.
Intel suggests that the group was led by a male Chadra Fan named Lek-Ti and that they have been conducting surveillance on a regional bank vault with the obvious intent to loot it. Your mission is to ensure that not only are they successful, but also that they are able to get away with as few casualties as possible. No restrictions are in place for the mission, other than there can be no connections made to the ISB.
End briefing.
Guin waited patiently after hours in an empty local diner awaiting her companion for the mission to arrive. When they did, she'd introduce herself as Klara and quietly sip on her caf while the other spoke before taking her turn. "So, where do you want to begin?"
