The planet of Kooriva in the Inner Rim was a relatively small player in the galactic stage, just slightly off to the side of its jewel of a neighbor Bestine and Thyferra. Though the war had raged heavily in the nearby systems, first with the Killik threat and then the Sith Empire, the Koorivar had flourished under a thin veil of neutrality.

The empire itself was going through an interesting series of developments and while a state of war technically existed between it and the ISC/FWA there had not been any significant push in some time. The ISB, as always, continued to work in the background. Whether the war was won or lost it didn't matter, preparation and subterfuge could exist inside their own vacuum waiting to be utilized or not.

To outright attack, either the ISC or FWA would be silly at this point and time, given the circumstances. But that didn't mean that disruption couldn't be applied in the hands of another, outside group. Fortunately for the ISB, there was an easy answer to a difficult task. Rumor was that a small band of pirates had been last seen engaging in piracy near Mechis III, and while an NR bounty on their head was a tempting endeavor, the more interesting opportunity was ensuring that they would be able to operate independently for some time.

ISB assets were able to locate several of their members committing petty crimes in Kooriva, seemingly biding their time for their next big job. That job would set the raiding group up nicely with a nest egg and outfit themselves with enough gear to properly harass our enemies. However, these pirates are lacking in several key areas in order to complete this job, mostly in the technical and covert departments.

Intel suggests that the group was led by a male Chadra Fan named Lek-Ti and that they have been conducting surveillance on a regional bank vault with the obvious intent to loot it. Your mission is to ensure that not only are they successful, but also that they are able to get away with as few casualties as possible. No restrictions are in place for the mission, other than there can be no connections made to the ISB.

End briefing.

Guin waited patiently after hours in an empty local diner awaiting her companion for the mission to arrive. When they did, she'd introduce herself as Klara and quietly sip on her caf while the other spoke before taking her turn. "So, where do you want to begin?"

Alita had to admit that ever since the split happened and the Empire lost territory, she was able to take on a lot of foreign missions. Whether that included revisiting previously Imperial territories or enemy planets, it made her job more interesting and dynamic. The agent was dressed as smart as ever, usually adorned in a suit dress that hugged her body and tall heels.

She took a seat across from her partner for the job and offered a polite smile, “Kira,” She said, looking over the mission log. Alita briefly glanced around her, ensuring that no one was listening. It was one of those easygoing diners that had old timey music playing with one lingering staff member that was working on closing up for the night.

“I hate enabling stupidity,” Alita remarked as she read the brief. These pirates were clearly imbeciles if they couldn’t cause higher levels of disruption. The fact that the ISB had to baby them to it felt like an insult to their work. However, it was just the kind of shady business the ISB was known for.

“We have to go undercover and join this merry band of pirates,” She said, passing over a datapad, “We go meet with Lek-Ti, hear his plan which is likely bogus, and offer…suggestions. We’d also need to scope out this bank to sabotage security the night of.”

The agent that she had been paired with for the mission was quite the sight, definitely striking as someone that would perfectly fill in the gaps that Guin herself lacked. Fortunately, the job did seem like the type that would require both their talents and that they could find the niche that they would best enjoy to ensure the task was completed.

The blonde listened closely as Kira laid out a decent plan, nodding along. "Agreed, I don't expect that they've ever done something like this so perhaps they'll be more open to said suggestions. Perhaps we should start with the bank first, that way we'll know for sure where his plan will fail and how to hit it properly."

Guin flicked back through the mission file for information on the bank in question. "It says here that the bank has several layers of defense on the upper floor, security, cameras, motion sensors, and the like but scant details on what might be in the vault below."

She expected that the pirates had not planned beyond showing up and blasting their way in, such a subtle plan had the potential to work but going in blind was an easy way to fail.

She nodded in agreement, “Let's test the bank’s lockdown protocol,” Six said as she reviewed the details about the bank, “I will go there as a customer. Your file said you’re an experienced slicer. If you slice into their system just enough to trigger the alarm, it’ll lock down the bank. I can scope out what they do and who gets called so we can sabotage it.”

“As for the vault…”
She paused for a moment, drumming perfectly manicured and painted nails on the table, “I will have to improvise and ask.”

Six said with a shrug. Improvising was always part of the job and she had become an expert at it by now. She glanced around herself, “At a diner and you didn’t even order us some greasy snacks and beers. How disappointing,” Six said with a grin as she began to rise from her seat. She would head for the bank later today and give her partner enough time to prepare.
