Well, it seemed that he was back at it again and up to no good. Talak had come up with a plan to spread confusion, disinformation, and still accomplish some of the goals he was personally after. Dressed in Jedi-like robes and wearing the mask that he had taken from the vault of a dead Hutt, Talak set out to make more of his trouble all over again.

He had his own saber as well as the blue lightsaber he had recovered. Both were hidden away in a satchel over his shoulder that had several magnetic detonators in it as well. His sword had been left behind this time, and although the mask was a little odd, there wasn't anything about him that actually screamed that he was here to cause trouble... yet. His weapons were hidden but this time, there was no hesitation about using a lightsaber... because today, he was a "Jedi." He was The Arcanist, and he was here to send a message to the Syndicates.

What could possibly go wrong?

Unlike his previous "operations" this one had been planned. He had multiple escape routes planned out, and he'd scouted a variety of different locations to hide or escape over the last few days. If he was solo on this operation, he wanted to be ready. He wouldn't fall for the same mistakes again.

It was a nice night by the standards of Nar Shaddaa, the air was cleaner than the usual stagnant morass of smoke, exhaust and the scent of the cloistered beings that lived so closely packed on the moon. Scudd was drinking in the night, along with a few more traditional beverages here and there, and was now wandering the streets with a smile on his face and enjoying his buzz. The word was out that some Jedi had attacked the Hutts and the clans were now out for blood, and while a lot of the trigger men and other problem solvers were getting excited about the lightsaber bounty and their chance for glory it wasn't really to his tastes. Sure the credits were good, but hunting people wasn't his idea of fun.

Dressed as he was in his long coat and blast vest, goggles propped up high on his bulbous head, and his twin blasters in their holsters on his hips paired with the stun baton dangling from his belt he didn't appear to be a soft target. While never wholey safe in a place like Nar Shaddaa he was buzzed enough to be jauntily strolling along and humming a pleasant tune to himself, keeping an eye out for trouble as well as any exciting characters.

And then his eyes caught glimpse of a robed and masked figure moving about the street and trough the crowd. And while by no means uncommon to see around these parts anyone who felt the need to wear a mask more than likely had a good reason, and odds were it was an interesting reason too. Always one for a finding a bit of excitement and not really caring for consequences Scudd steered himself towards the robed figure, smiling even wider. Trying to get their attention, and not really thinking about what all he really wanted to say or know, he'd raise his hand and simply call out "Hey you! Ya you in the mask!"

Talak kept walking down the street and glanced around from side to side. He knew the building he was heading for wasn't far, but as life would have it, nothing could be simple.

He didn't break his stride as the man started shouting out for him. He threw a glance to his side and saw a Duro who was carrying enough weapons on him to make it clear he was probably a criminal of some sort.

Bounty hunter? Smuggler? Enforcer? his mind ran through the most likely thoughts. On Nar Shaddaa it seemed everyone was either a bounty hunter or a wannabe bounty hunter, so he decided on that as a filler.

But that wasn't the reason that he kept walking without breaking his stride. He kept walking because the man actually appeared to be drunk. Although Talak didn't know how much alcohol he had consumed, your average person didn't just go waving down strangers on the street. Given that fact, it wouldn't appear unusual if Talak kept walking. Everyone knew that following people who waved you down or stopping for every drunk or spice-addled street dweller on Nar Shaddaa was a great way to either get dead or never get where you were going.

He kept his senses alert in case this particular drunk was violent enough to randomly open fire, though that would have been wildly illogical. More likely, the man would either forget about him or run to catch up. If he did the latter, Talak wouldn't run, but would continue his pace casually. If the drunk wanted to chat, they could chat while talking. @Kallus

Knowing full well he looked like a madman by trying to wave down a stranger in the streets of what was arguably the center of crime in the galaxy he kept it up, not caring one bit. Standing on his toes to get a better look over the crowd at this robed mystery person just waiting to be metaphorically unwrapped he saw their head turn his direction. His smile widened at this turn of events, maybe he would get an interesting story out of tonight afterall.

but then the head turned back around and the figure, who Scudd was now thinking looked masculine but couldnt wholly tell, just kept on walking. He didn't slow down or stop to let Scudd catch up, or even speed up to get away which the duros had to admit would have been even more interesting. No this mystery looked right at him and then kept walking without even so much as breaking stride, ignoring him completely. And that hurt. 'Love me or hate me' he thought 'no one can simply ignore Scudd Jastain'

"Oh come on, don't be like that!" He called to the casually retreating figure, hoping against hope that his admittedly feeble attempts at reasoning would work. But just to be sure that this change at excitement wouldn't escape him he began to pursue quickly, pushing his way through the other pedestrians that didnt get out of the apparently raving drunk's way, jogging where he could.

Upon catching up to the man, as this close the figure was most definitely a man, Scudd would reach out to lightly catch his shoulder. "Hey buddy," he said between light painted breaths "what's you're story? Where're you going?"

Talak couldn't have been so lucky as to have the guy go home and forget about him, could he? Of course not. It was just his luck that he would get the most persistent drunk on Nar Shaddaa. Perfect.

He felt the man's hand on his shoulder, and Talak spun with the pull, fist clenching at his side. He resisted the urge to just hit him and lay him out here and now, holding himself up short. He was here to cause a scene, but not quite yet. And preferably not this way. He watched the man's eyes, where they looked and what they looked at.

When they weren't looking at his hand, a couple of fingers flicked for a moment in a move that would be imperceptible to the peripheral vision. He touched the man's mind with the Force. In his slightly intoxicated state, he would be more open to suggestion, and even if he weren't, it would at least cover up any messing that Talak did with his head.

Go home. You're drunk, he said. Even the "command" he gave was benign enough that if this man was strong enough to resist, it wouldn't be enough to gain even a second thought. It was precisely what any reasonable person would say if they were confronted by a drunk person on the street. It wasn't Talak's first time using the Force in subtle ways. Even if the attempt at persuasion failed miserably, it wouldn't be enough to draw attention from even the most skeptical of people... particularly with alcohol in play. @Kallus

Nar Shaddaa, the planet was filthy, dirty and beyond contagious, for a boy in his condition. But, the pay and the job opportunity was too good even for him to give up. He needed to make a name for himself, to prove himself to his clan and to his own mind that he was worthy of being brought in as a foundling and a Mandalorian. It seemed today though, that his illness was worse than usual. His throat was dry and his knees ached as he felt the sweat dripping under his helmet.

He was hoping to get to his ship, get to safety and rest up for the night. But, it seemed the force had other intentions. His eyes would lower under his helmet as he caught the familiar site of a Duros. The guy from the bar. He'd peer towards the other individual that was with him. "Everything alright here?" The boy's voice would crack through his helmet.

Big grin on his face and a cigarra between his lips, Hannibal was presently soaking in a combination of drink and bustling undercity life. Seated at the bar in a relatively hole-in-the-wall cantina somewhere on Nar Shaddaa. Having been relatively busy lately, what with official Jedi business and now the news what a Hutt had put out a bounty on lightsabers, he figured it was time to get back to a little relaxation. Naturally he had brought his Very Good Buddy Ash Valentine with him. He had somehow, through a combination of pestering and sheer force of will, managed to get him to come with him on a bar crawl. The music was older but still bass-heavy, though quieter than at larger and flashier locations, and most people kept to themselves in this sort of place. All sorts of folks were scattered around the cramped inside, all dressed in variations of brown and grey for the most part, and each was likely some flavor of criminal.

Hannibal himself was little different, dressed in a casually stylish fashion featuring high-waisted trousers, a white button up with rolled up sleeves, and a green leather overcoat he currently had draped rakishly over his shoulders. His hat, a wide brimmed and flat topped affair, lay on the table before him next to a pair of round-lensed mirror shades that reflected the fading neon lights of the bar entrance behind him. Short leather gloves were worn over his hands, short enough to reveal part of the tattoos over the back of them. As usual his lightsaber was kept on a concealed mag holster inside his coat, though his blaster was holstered on his waist in plain sight. As his mother used to say, speak quietly and carry a big stick if you want to avoid trouble.

Turning to his left he grinned at his ever-grumpy companion, eyes twinkling with mischief. "See? This isn't so bad is it?" He asked in an almost sing-song manner. In truth, he had ended up at this particular bar for no reason other than that's where his intuition guided him, and Hannibal knew well enough to understand what that really meant. Unbeknownst to him, he and his companion were rather close to both a fairly amusing scene beginning somewhere nearby and the mysterious goals of a mysterious individual. For the moment, however, Hannibal was more preoccupied with forcing Ash to be something vaguely resembling social.

Scudd felt a surge of joy and simple accomplishment at catching up to the man in the mask. Never mind that he had had not really been trying to leave at any great speed, Scudd had achieved what he set out to do. And considering that the robed man didn't push him away, hit him, or take off running that was a really good sign. A victory he could call it really, if he wasnt trying to get away maybe he would be willing to talk and share in his mystery and adventure.

Then the man spoke, four simple words. "Go home. You're drunk." The words echoed in Scudd's head, drowning out the thoughts that he had been formulating next, even killing the next question on his lips. He had indeed been drinking, and maybe he was more drunk than he had thought. Afterall he may only feel buzzed, but how could he really tell how far gone he truly was? And the streets of Nar Shaddaa were not exactly the best place to be when not fully in control of ones self. Plus it was very sweet that this stranger, one he had just run down no less, would be so concerned for his safety and well being.

"You know what? I sho-" he started to say before a young voice, cracking slightly and muffled by a helmet, snapped him back to full attention. Now that he new someone else was near he had asses the situation again. Shaking the fog out of his head Scudd looked at the mandalorian who had walked up to them, and the voice seemed familiar. Was it the same guy from the bar?

"Oh hey, Mando, its you!" He exclaimed before leaning in closer to the T-visor squinting "At least I think it's you. This mystery man was just about to walk me to my home, ship really. Very kind of him, ey?" He finished, clumsily reaching out in an effort to put his arms around both of his new companions' shoulders.

Ash had to admit, that he wasn't having the worst time with his compadre for the evening Hannibal. Ash wasn't one for drinking, or smoking, or loud music, or talking. But things could certainly have been worse. It had taken quite literally days of constant pestering from the younger man to drag him out here. Ash wanted to go back to Vardos for a bit of a vacation, as out of character as that was. But no, his only free ride to his homeworld was adamant of getting him to some bars on Nar Shaddaa. He hated Nar Shaddaa with a genuine passion. It was just filled with people he didn't like.

He was dressed well, in the Vardosian style of blacks and silvers. His lightsaber was on his hip slightly covered by the jacket he was wearing. He was adamant about not hiding what he was so proud of, but he wasn't stupid enough to be blatant about it on a world like the smugglers moon.

His attention was on Hannibal when they sat down. Ash just copied whatever drink the younger Jedi got. He wasn't exactly experienced with drinking, having never done it as a younger teenager or as he grew up. First because it tasted bad, second because it hurt the scars on his face. He had to be careful with it, tilting his head to the left so that the liquid didn't drain out of the side of his face.

"No, it's not so bad. But why Nar Shaddaa? Of all the worlds in between here and Eriadu and this is the place to be?" He rasped with little anger. He might have been a little irritated or frustrated with his 'friend' but he wasn't angry. He glanced around, eyes landing on someone in Mandalorian Armor before he tensed up again. He seemed to be speaking to a Duros and someone else that was wearing some garments he swore he recognized, just not from where or what they meant. He kept his eye on them, but while still tensed up because of the Mando, didn't pay them much mind.

OOC: I went ahead and closed the thread because it was getting full. I'd like the thread to keep moving, so I'm not sure we need a super strict posting order, but hopefully we can all post pretty quickly. Cheers!

Talak was glad to see that his trick was working. He could only hope it would continue and this guy would leave him... and then it was ruined.

What kind of uncanny and ridiculous meeting was this? People were practically flocking to him like a beacon, and all he'd done was walk down the street!? It defied all expectations, and would inevitably cause him problems. Now it was a Mandalorian walking up, and Talak was beginning to think this might actually be a mugging. It wouldn't have been unheard of on Nar Shaddaa, but he didn't think that was going on. Nevertheless, something crawled over his back as if to warn him of... something.

The Mandalorian asked if everything was okay and the bounty hunter started talking to the Mando like they knew each other. Talak saw his opportunity, and he was going to take it.

Stop touching me, Talak said, pushing the hand away before it could come to rest on his shoulder. No one liked drunk strangers hanging all over them. Reasonable.

Your friend's drunk, and he came running up to me, he said. He had some sort of nagging suspicion this actually was going to be a mugging. I told him to go home. You might want to help him get there, he said. There was no mind trick this time, but Talak did keep walking after he said it. The truth was, he was actually in keeping with what one would expect on Nar Shaddaa quite well. No one wanted to get mugged. @Shax @TWD26 @Kallus @Mr. Teatime

Really, putting your hands on me. An audible humph would escape his helmet's communicator as he quickly pushed the Duro's hand off of his shoulder, "Don't touch me.." He'd grumble, "I don't need you complicating things.." He'd choke and cough slightly as he walked past the Duros, following the robed man.

He could feel something a sensation, but wasn't sure, he'd peer back slightly to see that two other men had entered the same street. "He's not my friend," the boy would crack, "It means little to me what happens to him." He would follow behind the man, he'd only have to follow for a few more blocks until he got to the spaceport. His robes seemed interesting, it reminded him of Nara, that wizard he met a few weeks back, and the Jedi woman on Nar Shaddaa. "Are you one of those wizards?" He'd ask, "with the magic hand thing?" @Phoenix

To be ignored was bad enough, but to be literally shrugged off, basically simultaneously? Now that just wasnt going to stand in Scudd's book, though the fact that both of these men had said almost the same exact thing almost in unison was a little humorous. And so it was that as he stumbled due to not having any support when his weight came down he chuckled as he straightened himself.

But then the Mandalorian's words started to process and the significance of his coughs sunk in. He had been so wrapped up in trying to be friendly that he forgot the Mandolorian had mentioned being sick on their previous meeting. A bolt of guilt ripped at his guts and he found his footing once more.

He opened his mouth to apologize, but by now the two men were already moving further down the street, one after the other. Scudd could just about hear the young mandalorian saying something through his helmet, but that didnt matter. He had to make amends.

So it was that he quickly set out after them, calling "Hey buddy, I'm sorry! I forgot. Please don't just walk off, I need to make it up to you. And to Mystry man too!"

Letting out a short, loud bark of laughter in response to Ash's evident irritation, he leaned in a little closer. "Nar Shaddaa is a reflection of a large portion of the galaxy, y'know. The density of people, crime, selfishness and selflessness, varying communities, all that. Nar Shaddaa knows everything, or so they so. Plus, I like neon are the drinks are cheap." His tone changed rapidly between the second and third sentences, though the grin inevitably showed back up on his face in the end. "Besides, nothing interesting ever happens in quiet places, and interesting places is where we should be." He spun around in his seat, back leaning against the bar and half full glass of green something-or-other in his left hand. The continued conversation in the street had drawn his attention by this point, scattered words somehow seeming to reach his ears despite the other varied noises and the buzzing of neon lights. A drunk duro, a mandalorian, and a... Wait, what is that? He squinted slightly, staring at the walking figure in his robed and masked attire through the cantina window, the style of it seeming somehow familiar. Regardless of outfit, however, the chilly tingling across the back of his neck pushed him to continue paying attention. He leaned over again towards Ash, "Does that mask or somethin' look familiar to you? Some ad?" he asked, tone light and conversational despite the laser-like focus of his gaze.

"Nar Shaddaa is a reflection of the worst parts of the galaxy. Don't let your cynicism cloud your eyes when you view the greater universe. There are plenty of better places than this, filled with better people than here." Ash rasped, in possibly one of the most optimistic things he had ever said. "The drinks are cheap though, on that we can agree." He continued, grimacing at the taste of the alcohol.

Interesting was right, but at what cost. Most interesting things happening around here end up with people dead or hooked on some new drug. For all the times Ash had been here trying to help folks out, things never seemed to get better. He took another sip of his drink, tilting his head once again as he noticed his fellow Jedi's attention wander away from him. Ash followed his gaze towards the group he had already noted and his immediate thought was that Hannibal was talking about the Mandalorian.

Ash didn't like Mandalorians. Not because he had bad experiences with them or because they had harmed him personally in some way. But because everything he heard about them offended his surprisingly delicate sensibilities. They just had no class! To put it simply enough, Ash was racist, not that he ever let people know that.

He shoved that to the side though, and reafixed his own gaze on the robed masked man. "Yeah, but not an ad. Something to do with our history classes I swear I've seen it or something like it at the... temple." He trailed off, looking over to Hannibal with his one good eye as if he had some sort of epiphany. "Maybe he's a fellow Jedi?" He rasped, again oddly optimistic. It was Hannibal's idea to bring him here, he would let the younger knight take the lead on this one if he wanted to confront the odd trio about it.

What the kark was wrong with these people? They were like lemmings just following him around as he tried to go about his business. Talak had no intention of stopping anymore, and kept plowing on down the street as people followed him around.

The feeling of being chased or hunted continued to build, and Talak knew that he couldn't waste time just waiting for them all to leave. Something was wrong, and that had him more on edge now than ever.

Talak was already formulating a plan when the Mandalorian caught up to him. Of course, this guy was going to be walking in the same direction as him... typical. Time to improvise, he thought.

I wish, he spat when asked if he was a space wizard. If I were I wouldn't have to put up with people accosting me on the streets, he said, denying that he was a Jedi or Sith. He didn't know this guy, and what Mandos were left tended to be bounty hunters or mercenaries. The last thing he wanted was to have someone trying to claim a saber.

But there was something about him that he noticed... something different in the Force. The thought was interrupted by the drunk one quickly following after and shouting again.

On the bright side, Talak had reached the building he was going for by the time drunkee caught up, which meant it was time to begin. He walked just passed the building and turned right down the alley. The Jedi hadn't decided immediately if they would pursue, so they would inevitably still be a ways behind and now out of sight as they turned down the alley if only for a few seconds. If he were lucky - which he didn't seem to be tonight - the Mandalorian's bay would be straight ahead still and the drunk would follow. He'd be alone in the alley.

Regardless, as he turned the corner, he could see the far end of the alley led to another street on the other side exactly as the maps he'd studied showed, and he reached for the comlink in his belt before dropping it next to a dumpster. He made it look good of course, swearing as he "tried" to catch it and failed. He turned toward the dumpster and the wall, bending down to pick up the device.

His body blocked easy sight from anyone who had followed him, and with the help of the Force, a little slight of hand shouldn't have been too difficult. He grabbed the comlink and one of the activated detonators slipped under the dumpster and against the wall. It was timed to go off shortly, and the explosion - not intended to actually harm anyone - would send the building onto alert on this side and draw attention away.

He kept walking - almost certain that someone would still be insistent on following him - and toward the street at the far end of the alley. @Shax @TWD26 @Kallus @Mr. Teatime

The bounty hunter would feel a wave of the chills run over his body as he walked along the man. He was blunt and to the point, something that the Mandalorian himself could appreciate. The amount of freaks that huddled and congregated in this city was enough to blow his fuse, he wanted off this planet sooner rather than later. Though, he had to admit that he was rather disappointed, he was hoping he would have known that wizard girl he met, called herself a Jedi. She was nice, but her self-righteousness caused his bounty to escape. Nara....

The boy would clench his throat as he coughed, he could see his spaceport up ahead and with it the shots he desperately needed. He wouldn't say much, just a simple nod and comment as he passed the Robed figure who turned down the alley, "See you around." He'd turn, not waiting for a response. Instead, he would walk a few meters, stopping in front of the building as he began to fall into a fit of coughing and wheezing--it seemed this illness was getting worse. I need to get this taken care of...

A small variety of micro-expressions flitted over Hannibal's face at Ash's varying responses, none quite breaking that ever-present cheeriness. Instead of responding to his first response he just continued to stare at the group of three, his eyes always finding their way back to the robed and masked individual. By the time Ash had gotten to the point of wondering if the guy was a fellow Jedi he'd already made up his mind, knowing better than to ignore the prickly feeling along his spine and the sudden urge to stand up. He slipped off his barstool, smoothly replacing a dusty bottle of some kind of whiskey variant with a pre-loaded credit chip on his way and patting Ash on the shoulder with his other hand. His expression brightened, a mischievous energy twinkling in his eyes as he turned to Ash. "Yeah, maybe they are. Let's go say hi."

Without further warning he walked his way out, quick steps following behind the drunken duro, the feeling of unease settling itself in his stomach. He did lose sight of the robed figure for a bit, though they clearly turned into another alleyway, down which Hannibal immediately decided to follow, passing by the armored figure coughing in front of the building. While normally he would probably be in a friendly mood, he wasn't in the mood to deal with anything beyond what was right in front of him, and entered the alley without a word to the armored young man.

There in the alley was the robed figure, so Hannibal picked up the pace. Though he was still only walking, he took full advantage of his height with long and quick strides, edging around a dumpster he got weird creepy vibes from on his way through. Figuring he was close enough when he had made his way within a few meters he'd raise his right hand, calling out. "Hey, buddy! Hold on a minute!" Grin still plastered on his face, he'd keep moving forward, his goal being to get within a more reasonable conversation distance. "Got time for a fellow? Not doin' anything important, are ya?" He asked, then wondered if Ash had even followed him. He'd never bothered to check.

Though his expression was friendly, his eyes were looking over the man's robes, trying to remember where exactly he'd seen the design before. Maybe if he could get a closer look at the weird mask. Of course, his presence in the Force wasn't the least bit suppressed, practically screaming 'Hey, I'm a Jedi!' at this distance. A fellow Jedi wouldn't be bothered by that sort of thing after all, he figured, so why bother hiding it?

Talak heard the pit-pat of feet on the ground behind him, and he forced himself not to look back. The mind he sensed wasn't laced with malice of violence, but it was... oh dear. An actual Jedi?! This was going to either make his job significantly easier or significantly harder.

His mind was already rushing through how to use this, but he knew one thing that no one else did. 3... 2... 1...

BOOM

The man was racing to catch up with Talak, and he likely wouldn't be in the range of the explosion (it wasn't actually Talak's goal to catch anyone in it) but without some forewarning, it would certainly make him spin to see what happened, perhaps (if he was a Jedi) investigate if there were any wounded, and certainly give Talak a precious few seconds where the attention wasn't focused on Talak. It wasn't unlikely that the man would eventually realize that Talak was a suspect, but by then, Talak would have already muddied the waters.

As soon as the explosion went off and the man would likely have his attention drawn away - as any reasonable person would - Talak used the Force to burst his speed forward, reaching the end of the alley. The blue lightsaber was in his hand now as he turned the corner to once again break the line of sight, and swung it at the guard standing at the far side. He felled the man and carried the slash through to the door controls a moment later, sending it open. The crystal in the saber seemed to cry out in resistance of the killing, but Talak knew that the man was no innocent.

He would slip inside the building a moment later, likely without anyone immediately in pursuit and begin tossing the detonators throughout, many in places difficult to see. He didn't break his stride as he cut down the spice dealers that had come to give resistance, and left the detonators in his wake.

Anyone following him inside would be faced with a similar problem as thugs would move to intercept them, and it would easily turn into a brawl. Fortunately - and not by accident - many of the guards had investigated the first detonation, leaving Talak to not have to fight every man in the building. @TWD26 @Mr. Teatime

Ash got up to follow Hannibal, only stopping for a moment to pay for the drinks they had ordered. He was several steps behind the younger man when the Mando(@TWD26 ) started coughing. Now despite his reservations about Mandalorians or literally anyone else in the galaxy, he wasn't going to just ignore someone in a bit of need. So he stopped by the armored man as he was bent over wheezing and put a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, just relax a moment." He rasped in the kindest voice he could muster. He wasn't going to force the issue if the Mando didn't want his help, but if he wasn't shaken off he would do his best to provide a little bit of healing.

He wasn't skilled enough to cure sickness yet, but he could ease some symptoms like congestion or coughing. The Mando would still need to go to a hospital and get himself checked out, but for now this should make the rest of his day easier. Again, assuming the armored man allowed him to do anything at all. If he shook him off, well Ash would just shrug and continue following his partner, if not he would say "You need to see a doctor, don't let this sit." In his best bedside manner. It wasn't very good bedside manner, but it was better than his usual gruffness.

And then the bomb went off, and any semblance of a semi-kind Paramedic vanished as he looked in the direction it had happened. Conveniently, or perhaps frighteningly, it was the same direction that Hannibal had run down. The entrance to the alley was smoking and dusty, rubble was everywhere, but a quick pulse with the force and it didn't seem like anyone was hurt, and none of the buildings were falling down either.

It must have been the man in the mask, his meager brain said unless Hannibal was just casually taking up the occupation of terror bomber. While Ash wouldn't put it past the younger Jedi, he was going to give him the benefit of the doubt. Ash extended his awareness in the force, looking for his new acquaintance, hoping to find him unharmed. He also noticed people dying, which really put a damper on his day.

Ash sprinted forward through the dust and unhooked the lightsaber on his belt, not really thinking through the ramifications that could have. "Hannibal! Whats going on?!" He barked to the younger man once he caught up to him. "Leave you alone for five seconds and things explode, dammit man!"

There was something about his disease that seemed to attract every Jedi from across the galaxy, they all had the same pitch--to let them help him and to heal him up. It was more complicated than that. His eyes would would shift up in his visor towards the man, focusing on his scars. Tough son of a kriff.. The boy wondered what kind of combat that man had seen. He was close to answering his request with a yes, but that was when things changed.

An explosion tore through the building, almost as a demonstration. He would watch Ash turn towards another man. "It wasn't him," he'd choke, "That robed figure, he walked down that way." He would remove both of his DC-17 blast pistols, "I'm going to see if I can catch a glimpse."

He would wince under his helmet as he turned to the south of his original position, jogging a few meters behind the building and turning down the right alleyway of the same building. It seemed the robed figured hadn't taken off down this portion of the street or he had skipped off somewhere. Regardless he would press on, making it onto the main street and turning left and approaching the front door, pistols drawn. He could hear something going on inside, and opted to fall back to the sidewalk across from the building, roughly twenty meters or so from the front door. If that wizard freak came out, he would go for it all--this is the way.
