One of the worst things, to Lorcan's mind, about a breaching attack in space was just how unknown everything about it was. He was crammed in the back of a ship with Thalia and eight other rangers (four under the command of each other them) with no windows and no way of knowing where they were aside from the radio chatter he picked up from the cockpit.

That and he couldn't smoke.

As the ship rattled around him, Lorcan looked down at the soulless eyes of his helmet for a long few moments. Sometimes it helped to think of it as a mask that he could draw down over himself to forget his worries. He took a deep breath before pulling his helmet on and making sure it was firmly attached and in place. Nothing worse than a helmet on a swivel.

He stood up from where he had been sitting and moved up to the edge of the docking tube. It was already being attached and he could hear the hull-cutting going on through the metal. Patting the tube slightly with one hand, he unslung his rifle with the other.

"Alright listen up!"
he called out across the team com lines set up across the Rangers' helmets, "These buggers killed many of our own and have another captured. There's a second team going in to right that wrong. We are here to secure the station itself and rule one of dealing with these murderous pirate scumbags? Anyone?"

When no one answered he did.

"Shoot to kill. These are hardened killers - Ranger killers no less - and they are wanted dead or alive in this sector. So when you get the chance you put them down hard! IF they surrendered THEN, and only then, do you go for stun."
he tapped the side of his helmet, "Alright form up; Alphas One through Four on me. Omegas' on Thalia."

The tube extended and they were off, charging into the station's hanger bay.

It was a quick trade off as Lorcan and Thalia left the gunboat for another transport to take them to the station. The woman had quickly stripped of her flight suite and traded it for her armor, an additional blaster rifle, a couple grenades, and a quick swig of whiskey before cramming into the shuttle. She reached up and checked the comm piece in her ear, listening to the static as they waited in silence until Lorcan spoke up, clearly uncomfortable by needing to stand this close to anyone on the ship.

He gave their orders and Thalia was more than ready to ensure no one else would fall victim to the pirates. She never thought she would be close to her Rangers, but there was certainly a passion that pushed them to not grant mercy if one of their own were hurt or killed. Thalia pressed her thumb against the side of the rifle, stun was not the first option, this station was going to be a blood bath. She reached into her own senses, but instead of finding warmth and calmness, there was a chill that veined from her instead. Finding it odd, she ignored it for now as the ship docked and they poured into the hanger bay.

It was relatively quiet as she motioned for her team to follow, there was no sign of anyone except for one lone guard. His back was turned as they approached and Thalia whipped him hard with the butt of her rifle in the back of the head. Her Rangers kept an eye out for anymore as Thalia checked the guard, pulling off a keycard and his comm for listening to the chatter over enemy radio.

She stood up and signaled for them to follow, her center twisted with caution and Thalia heeded, pausing at the double blaster doors that lead into the rest of the station. There was no doubt there were more who were ready for them.

The fact that there was only one guy on the ground in the hanger bay was... different.

Honestly he had expected things to go tits up the second they landed but it seemed they had some initial luck. He wasn't going to bank on the luck however so as he passed the downed guard he shot him with his pistol, stunning the man on top of the brunt force trauma he had taken from Thalia.

It likely wouldn't have needed to be anything more but he wanted to make double sure. He had his rifle in his hands even as he holstered his pistol and unlike his pistol his rifle was firing lethal rounds. As much as he wanted to take prisoners, he was aware that a stunned enemy could be revived by fellow enemies and that would end with them vastly outnumbered. So instead he would respond in kind to the level of force the Pirates would present to them.

And they weren't going to be aiming for stunning were they?

The four men under his direct command moved up to the main door from the hanger bay. Stations like this one were all the same and the layout was public knowledge so they knew they were going in the right direction. It, of course, helped that it was literally the only door out of the hanger bay. As soon as they stacked up the opened the door and revealed the hallway beyond; a hallway with eight of the damned pirates in.

One of the pirates fired first, a panicked shot that hit one of the Rangers in the chest, sending him spinning backwards. They had fired with lethal rounds so...

"Weapons free!"
Lorcan ordered even as he pulled the body from the door to rest it against the wall with some respect, "Light them up!"

The lack of cover in the hallway meant that the pirates had to fall back to an intersection and one of them was too slow, taking a duo of blasts to the back from the other rangers.

Thalia signaled for her men to follow, taking position on either side of the doors, she glanced at Lorcan before the doors opened and the blaster fire came as predicted. The pirates were ready, knowing very well the only way into the rest of the station was through this hallway. Though there was a lack of coverage in the hall for the pirates, it also meant the Rangers were vulnerable as well. The push back was successful with minor causalities, one for one, and Lorcan ordered to press onward.

Thalia echoed the ordered and her men followed and fire, but the pirates who fell back had the advantage of cover now. They came back with return fire, each of her Rangers began to drop as they suddenly were outmatched by the pirates. Thalia with no where to cover, flattened herself against the durasteel floor behind the body of a fallen Ranger. Her heart was racing from the adrenaline that was pumping through her body, waiting for finally the moment to move out of the line of fire, however, there was not much of cover.

I'm here...

A stir of annoyance came as the voice rang in her mind; she had not heard it in a long time.

Just within reach young one...

A cold etched through her core, cooling her body, her mind and her focus narrowed on a trandoshan who seemed to have taken the lead. She could take him down, she had the ability, the power, more than anyone was capable of here.

Don't hesitate and just reach...

Without realizing what she had been doing as she laid beneath the blaster fire, her hand was outstretched and she could feel the Force twist around the ankle of the trandoshan. Tightly closing her fingers into her palm, there was a crunch and a cry of shock and agonizing pain as the pirate went down, some of mates confused on what had just happened to their leader.

The hallway was a massacre waiting to happen.

The lack of cover was bad for both sides but it seemed that the pirates had managed to grab more secure cover than the rangers had and Lorcan could only watch as several of the rangers that he had brought with himself and Thalia were ripped away from them. Cursing, there was a moment when he truly didn't know what to do.

He didn't know what to do and it was going to get them all killed.

In the end he still didn't know what to do but what he did know how to do was fight. So instead of staying behind inferior cover - Lorcan charged to take the better cover that the pirates had. Roaring in anger, and to pump himself up, Lorcan charged down the hallway firing his rifle as he went. The pirates fell back slightly but they were, unfortunately, doing so in good order so it wasn't a rout. Thankfully for Lorcan, he was able to catch one while he was reloading in cover.

Slamming his body into the pirate, hard, Lorcan sent the young man sprawling before firing twice into his skull, ending his life. He could tell from the radio chatter that he and Thalia were the only ranger forces left remaining on this mission and they were now separated. Leaning against the cover, Lorcan contacted her via the com link.

"If you want to fall back to the ship, I won't blame you Rook."
he told her quietly as he readied himself for more, "I'll give you covering fire for whatever you want to do next."

More blaster fire let loose, the bolts flew over head and scorched the floor beside where she laid low. The Force around her was cold with death, numbing her own limbs as she tried to find a way back to the ship or to cover. She saw Lorcan and his remaining team begin to move forward, but one by one, they were falling to the volley of blaster fire and Lorcan seemed to know this was not going to be a victory for the rangers. She heard him yell and she thought he had gotten shot, but instead he had charged at the pirates, throwing them off guard by his irrational behavior.

Perhaps their predictability was their undoing. Her comm crackled and she heard Locran on the other end, giving her the option to fall back. She picked her head up looking down the hall, but it seemed they had mostly retreated back and now he was near them and she was alone with the dead.

It was cold where she laid, not the same cold of space, or the cold of her own body temperature, in fact, she was dripping in sweat, but she just needed to let go, and it will show her. She did not reply to Lorcan right away and instead closed her eyes and turned her head to the side, looking, feeling yet resisting the beckoning she felt. However, she wasn't going to leave Lorcan, and the lives given of the rangers was not going to be in vain.

Show them...make them think twice...

Thalia inhaled, her anger began to flow slowly from the door that held it back. The air was cold, but there was something she couldn't describe in words, but she could feel it in her finger tips as she pushed herself up from the floor. "No, I'm coming." she said in her comm. Her senses were alive, she didn't even feel as though she were present, but at the same time, she was very much taking her steps toward the pirates. One looked from behind his cover, seeing the incoming Ranger and raised his blaster, firing several shots. She ducked out of the path of the firing, the Force reached out from her extended palm, grasping the pirate and slamming him into the wall opposite of his cover.

More blaster fire came, but she was far enough forward to take cover in the niche of a doorway.

It looked like the Rookie wasn't going to just cut and run.

He could respect that even if he knew that it was likely going to result in their deaths if they slipped up too much. Taking a deep breath, Lorcan held his rifle in his hands and just listened as the blaster fire splashed violently against his cover. He thought about what his life had been like up to this point and he could honestly say that there were some regrets there.

If he made it out of here he would be doing some things differently that was for damned sure. Gripping his rifle tightly to himself, he readied himself to once again face death and, hopefully, flip it off once more.

With one of the pirates downed by the Force, there were only four of them still upright when Lorcan leaned out of his cover. Their attention was on Thalia and it showed; pulling his trigger as fast as possible, Lorcan gunned all four of the remaining pirates down while they were busy focusing on her. When the last of them fell to the floor dead, Lorcan let himself relax slightly against the cover he had taken.

He gave himself a moment to calm his beating heart before standing and moving over to the enemy side of the hallway - he fired a blast into the chest of each of the pirates who had only been stunned or knocked out. It was brutal and it likely wasn't acceptable but he didn't feel like leaving stunned enemies after they killed so many of their allies.

"Thalia, hallway's clear."
he called out to her over coms as he reloaded from some of the ammo packs the pirates had on them, "We don't have a numbers advantage on them anymore - I say we head to the life support section of the station and we suck the atmosphere out of the command center."

The blaster fire quickly dwindled and Thalia peeked from around the corner of the door niche to see several of the pirates lying on the ground. She smiled for the small victory, but it was a costly one and who knew how many more pirates were on this station. Inhaling deeply, the Ranger stepped out, prepared for more blaster fire, but when none came, she let her shoulders relax some, until she heard the crackle of the comm in her ear from Lorcan.

He had to be nearby as he explained his plan...or at least she hoped it was more of an idea and tentative because she instantly responded. "Are you kidding?" Sh reached the section of the hall where Lorcan was getting ready to head to the engineering controls. "That's not how it works, we'll all be dead. We need to jam their comms though, we can do that from the engineer's room. Then from there, scramble any security holos and eject any of their ships docked here..for fun."

However, she did not know where that would be, "There should be cooridors a few levels below, this is an old station, if I remember, they liked to put everything in the basement of these models. " Thalia checked the ammo of her weapon, satisfied with the amount and gave a reassuring nod. "Lets be ready, they are probably following us, they'll either be done there waiting for us, or send them after us...or quite possibly both." she said heading to the lifts to the lower levels.

Lorcan paused for a moment before sighing. He really wanted a cigara but he realized she was right; only certain ships and certain stations had deployable bulkheads that would make the life support system modular. The idea of doing it anyway after fetching some space suits from the ship they'd arrived in was something he toyed with for a moment before he discarded the idea entirely and decided it was probably best to do this more traditionally.

"I suppose grabbing a couple of space suits and doing it anyway would also be a bad idea?"
he mused aloud despite himself before chuckling a little darkly, "Oh blinding their security would do I suppose."

They were probably going to be waiting for them.

Even some of the stupidest pirates in the sector had to realize that the engineering section of the station was a vulnerability that could be exploited one way or the other. If they just wanted to blow the station up enough to kill everyone then a timed explosive in that area would do the trick.

But no, they wanted this place captured.

Moving down through to the bowels of the station, Lorcan led the way and as they approached the door to the engineering department he held up a hand for Thalia to take a moment before he opened the door quickly, attempting to surprise those within. The fact that there was only one pirate down here surprised Lorcan enough for said pirate to squeeze off a shot with his pistol. Lorcan spun backwards slightly as the shot hit him in the upper left chest area.

Thankfully that area was armored but still, the shot did a good job of compromising the armor in that area and even through the armor he could feel a light burning sensation.

The hallway was littered with bodies. Black, jagged circles dotted the walls and scattered crates; the tall-tale sign of blaster fire impact. Whatever happened here, it didn't go according to plan for either side. Corran knelt down and checked the pulse of one of the bodies. Dead. Still warm, but dead. The numbers seemed about the size for both Alpha and Omega units. Was it possible they were already wiped out?

"Mission brief said Alpha and Omega should be here. This has to be their last known location." One of the other Rangers mused, looking around carefully but keeping his blaster grip tight. "See if you can get in contact with them." Corran took the nod in his direction as a direct order.

Pressing against nearby cover, the young man switched the channel to the Alpha and Omega unit frequencies and pressed on his communicator, "Alpha Squad, Omega Squad; do you read? This is Echo squad. Relay location. I say again, relay location, over. Reinforcements will be routed." If they were any survivors, he hoped they would be able to respond. The sight of the scattered bodies, pirate and Ranger alike, gave Corran that sinking feeling.

Thalia checked her rifle as the lift quickly brought them down to the lower levels; when the doors opened, she kept it raised and her finger over the trigger in case the pirates were waiting on the other end. With no one else that could be seen, she followed Lorcan to the double doors of the engineering room, signaling to wait before he hit the manual controls to open the door. Only one guarded what seemed like the most important room in the whole station. He however, fired before Locran could get a shot, hitting him in the chest. Thalia had her aim and quickly fired several rounds from her rifle, emptying the ammo clip, but was able to subdue the pirate lethally.

"You ok?" she asked and paused, hearing her comm chime with a ping from Echo (@TerranSteel ). She grabbed her comm and dropped her rifle, having depleted the ammo and leaving it useless. "Echo Squadron, this is Omega, I am with Alpha, we're handling the sub-levels, but haven't cleared out the command." she directed, patting Lorcan's arm in reassurance and heading into the engineering room. Tucking away her comm, she searched the body of the pirate, pulling a key card and heading to a set of controls.

The Ranger started flipping some switches when her senses warned her and instinctively she ducked from a tool being thrown at her by a droid. It came crawling out from behind a circuit box on six legs, reminding Thalia of a crab as its legs tapped against the mental floor. "Watch it or you'll be scrap!" she said as she was able to jam the station's comm system. "Alpha, they can't talk to each other now." she said pulling out her pistol and aiming it at the droid which skittered back behind the circuit box.

Lorcan didn't find taking a shot from a blaster entertaining on any level but he was still very happy to find that he hadn't had his throat blasted out. Instead his armour around the shot was completely shot and the skin below it was bruised and lightly burned. Thankfully it had been a pistol at a fairly decent range against armour.

Still didn't mean he wanted to take the shot again.

"I'm good."
he confirmed with a grunted as he gathered himself, "Armour compromised at the upper left chest but minimal damage."

With the pirate downed there was less to be done than he expected so rather than taking him down he spent the time instead welding some of the scrap metal to his armoured chest plate. They weren't in any immediate danger and they had managed to deafen the enemy so taking a few moments to repair his armour didn't seem too bad. He touched his com link as he finished up.

"Echo this is Alpha, meet myself and Omega outside engineering asap."
he requested as he made sure he was fully loaded, "If we take the command we should be able to allow reinforcements in via the hanger bay and take this whole damned thing. It's got to be our next target."

"Loud and clear. Over and Out." Corran turned to Echo group and recited the information, "Alpha and Omega are in engineering, sir."
Echo leader swung his index finger in a circle, "You heard him. Let's roll out."

Like all the landing teams, Echo squad had memorized the standard layout of the 500-Series Platform space station. On top of that, they had datapads with the station designs on them if memory proved faulty. With blaster rifles at the ready, Echo leap-frogged down the corridors that made their way to Engineering. The going was smooth until they neared their destination. A frustrated shouting could be heard somewhere else among the sub-levels and approaching fast. "Hello? Hello?! Is your headset working?" asked the vexed voice, "Where the hell is everybody?" Another voice replied, sounding more innocently worried, "I donno. That's why were down here."

Echo leader silently gestured for the squad to keep going to at least get to their rendezvous point before the enemy did. "Rangers!" Corran whisper-shouted as Echo squad (four Rangers, all told) entered into the Engineering center. It was an attempt to ward off friendly fire, which thankfully, paid off. While a blaster bolt to the chest didn't greet him, a punch to the gut certainly did. The young Ranger had expected to see more survivors. Two. There were only two. Alpha and Omega had been wiped out. Dread seeped into Corran's spine, like droplets of ice water down his back. Would the second wave end up like the first?

"Are you... all that's left?" Corran asked, looking to the woman and Lorcan. The only unsurprising thing was that Ranger Lorcan wasn't dead. In Corran's experience, the man was a killing-machine. "More importantly," Echo leader butted in, "We've got incoming. Two pirates on their way here. Likely to check on their friend." A rifle barrel gestured to the deceased.

Thalia expected Lorcan to keep a lookout for any unwanted guests that came to see what was happening in the engineering room. She heard him speaking to someone over their comm channel, the rest of the comms should be jammed for the time being until the system is reset. Looking at the keycard she pulled from the pirate, she glanced over the control console before finding a socket that looked like it would fit. Plugging it in, the droid that had been harassing her earlier was trying to inch closer to her as she worked. She would give a warning glance every so often to remind it she was still present.

Pulling out her own datapad she started working, shuffling through the systems to find the correct one. The space station was much different from a ship's systems output as she worked through the code to find what she was looking for, luckily in just the right amount of time as they were greeted by Echo. She glanced up from the datapad and gave him a sarcastic two finger salute indicating he was very correct it was just the two of them left.

As he announced there were two more pirates heading down to their location, the station's lights dimmed, some turning off, locks failed, doors opened, and there was a series of multiple beeps. that echoed throughout the station.

"Well good news...they can't lock their doors, send out or receives messages, or anything productive as the system is offline." she disconnected her datapad, "Bad news, we only have about ten minutes before it comes back online." she explained and picked up the rifle from the body, checking it over quickly knowing company was coming.

Huh.

Lorcan had to admit that seeing more Rangers was always welcome and the fact that he knew one of them was even better. Corran was someone Lorcan knew from their time together. He waved to the Ranger in question as he readied his weaponry again.

"Evening Corran."
He gestured around him, "Welcome to the party."

Party was... an overstatement but oh well.

"Right. Coms blocked, pirates on the way. Certain pain on the way - so onward we go to pain. Flip of the coin says it's us or them."
he grinned behind his mask, "Let's flip that coin."

Taking a deep breath, Lorcan readied his blaster rifle before hitting the button to open the door to the hallway out of Engineering. The two pirates on their way froze at his sudden appearance and that was all he needed. That split second they didn't react was all he needed to blast them once in the chest and once in the head each. Neither of them managed to so much as get a shot off.

... he should probably say something quipy.

But he couldn't think of anything to be fair so...

"Alright let's get moving up to the command center."

The two smoking carcasses confirmed what Corran had previously thought; Ranger Lorcan was as lethal as ever. Point him at the enemy and he'd stack them like bets at a Hutt Sabacc table. The rookie Ranger felt some comfort to have such a killer on his side. With the female Ranger's announcement of a 10 minute window while the station crucial security systems were down and Lorcan giving the order to advance on the command center, the unspoken threat was clear: We've got one shot at this. The 10 minute gap meant the pirates couldn't easily coordinate a response, seal blast doors, or even check security holovids. This was their best chance.

With a professional nod, Corran and Echo led the way out of Engineering. Moving through the corridors was much easier than before. All the secured doors were wide open, unlocked, and unguarded. As the merged squads of Alpha, Omega, and Echo made weaved their way to their objective, tall-tale signs of confusion among the opposition forces was becoming more apparent. The two separate Ranger landings must have caused initial uncertainty and the slice from Engineering pushed that anxiety into panic. Spilled ration cartons, tipped over chairs, and vacant security posts with abandoned warm caf sitting on the consoles was all the evidence they needed to confirm these suspicions. Without being discovered, the Rangers made their way near the command center for the station. It's reinforced doors were wide open.

A crude, brutal and booming voice could be heard from inside, "We lose contact with the detention and medical sections and now we've lost contact with everything!" Something metallic was thrown and clanged loudly to the floor after it impacted something. "How many even are there? We... we killed them before and I can do it again! AGAIN! Get... G-get that E-WEB set up!"

E-Web. The first assault group had been decimated by that cannon and facing it again could spell similar doom for the second attempt. By the sound of it, it wasn't quite operable or set-up in the command center. If the Sector Rangers didn't act fast, that weapon platform would be ready and waiting for them.

Thalia followed the others as they made their way back up to the upper levels, clearing the rooms as they went. The opened blast doors made it easier for them to see who was present, though the station was nearly empty, however, the anticipation for more enemies was present. She could sense others still present, their anger rippled through the Force like a current of ice, causing even Thalia to slow her pace. Grasping into her own passion to see these pirates pay for their violent display of noncompliance, she readied her rifle. The pirates were in the command room, however, she could only see four, which meant there were still another four roaming the station possibly.

She did not like being the halls, there was minimal cover much like when they first entered the station. Thalia breathed inward, searching for the entity that had helped her earlier before glancing at Alpha and Echo, counting down on her fingers and signalling for them to make their move. She opened fire first and the area once more filled with the echoes and screams of blaster fire; she felt something in the Force, a whisper and an urge as she saw the cylinder nearly at their feet. With a push of the Force, the grenade ricocheted back to the pirates, exploding over their own heads. It was enough of distraction though to feel the burn of a blaster bolt in her left shoulder, knocking her back off her feet.

Cursing with absent breath, she pulled herself to an open door, pulling herself around the corner and out of the way of the blaster fire.

Well the hallway was going to become a meat grinder just like before and Lorcan had approximately no time for that nonsense. The fact that he could see them setting up an E-Web turret just made him wish he had thought to bring some grenades. They weren't in his usual inventory but they just might be after a mission like this.

"Don't suppose anyone brought grenades?"

He asked his allies even as he took a deep breath and gripped his rifle tighter. Despite the fact that they didn't have grenades, they still had rifles and blasters and enough guts to tear through the enemy. With his breathing fully under his control he paused for a second to wait for a lull in the firing before he leaned out from around the corner they were taking cover behind.

The pirates immediately noticed him and blasters moved to point in his direction but they were just a second or two slow on the draw as he fired first, blasting the power supply of the E-Web turret. It burst into flames, breaking apart with some additional sparks thrown in the mix as well. Despite having crippled the turret however, Lorcan was just a touch too slow as well, pulling his rifle back too slowly to avoid the blaster bolt.

Cursing angrily in annoyance and mild pain, he hid behind the corner again and dropped the destroyed remains of his blaster rifle before beginning to pick some of the metal and plastic shrapnel out of his hands. Thankfully nothing too bad but still rather painful.

Ranger Lorcan bounded off before Corran even had the opportunity to reveal the concussion grenade he had stowed. He had brought only two and used the other when freeing the detainee on the station. Lorcan, with his usual killer instinct, blasted apart the enemy heavy turret but took shrapnel in the hand from his own shattered rifle. The sudden aggression, and the following detonation of the exposed E-Web power supply, caused a slackening in the volume of fire from the distracted pirates.

Still, the command room was a ways down the hall. Within blast range certainly, but hurling a grenade into the room required someone with the strength of a Wookie for the throw to cross the distance. Short of any Wookies present, the young Ranger knew what he had to do. Raising

Rising to his feet, Corran gripped the grenade tightly in his hand. He showed it to the rest of the group, “Wish me luck,” before sprinting past the corner where Lorcan sat picking scraps out of his hand, and down the hallway – remiss of any cover and fully exposed to blaster bolts. The pirates seemed to point and shout in slow-motion. Corran couldn’t hear them. Only heavy breathing filled his ears. His thumb pressed on the ARM button. A few more heavy footfalls and pirates raising their weapons. Others scrambled to get to their feet. Corran didn’t even stop his sprint; he wound his arm back and pelted it into the command room. Using his momentum, the Ranger then dove to the floor as soon as the concussion grenade left his palm.

A shockwave erupted from the command center, intermixed with sharp yelps of life being extinguished. Corran kept his hands on his helmet, bracing for pain or death. Nothing came. The Ranger looked up into the room. Four pirates lay dead. Three on the floor and one sprawled over a console. “Clear! It’s clear!” He called back to the others.

Thallia scrambled for a bacta patch, one handed and hissing through her teeth as she used her injured arm. Her other hand kept on her blaster rifle. The bolts still fired behind her as she pressed her back against the wall, facing down the hall that they had just come from to ensure no one else would come for them. She smacked the patch onto the burn, feeling instantly a cooling sensation, but the sting was still present. She was not happy as she would most likely need to seek medical staff after this fiasco. Inhaling deeply, she closed her eyes, her senses instinctively reached out, feeling the reverberation of the grenade and the coldness of death as it sapped from the pirates in the command room.

However, there was something else, were there more?

She opened her eyes in time to see a figure peek out from around a corner and Thalia raised her balster rifle, "Guys, we have a few more coming on your zero." she spoke into the comm and then pushed her back against the wall to slide upwards, pushing herself up to her feet as she readied for another fight. Feeling again, she gave herself to the trusted voice she heard, "Four...four more coming down." she said, her rifle raised and she waited for another to peek out again.
