Moving into the control room, Lorcan was glad to see that the grenade had been so damned effective. He was going to have to start using grenades at this rate wasn't he? It felt like he was. Instead he drew his blaster pistol as his main weapon instead. Although he had lost his blaster rifle, he still had a blaster pistol and bladed weapons.
But charging people with a blade was a Jedi thing and a suicide thing for pretty much anyone else.
Looking around the control center, he noted some of the readouts were still closed off due to their meddling in the engineering but he could see that the ship was still fine in the hanger. Surprisingly the pirates had been aware of it but they had left it there likely as an avenue for escape.
It made sense since if they decided to kill them without mercy then, with the other prisoner freed, there would be nothing stopping the Rangers from just blowing up the station from the outside and being done with it. Tapping into the controls of the control center wasn't very hard because the pirates had been either caught off guard or too confident in their turret to bother closing down their workstations on the datapads.
Weird really.
Closing the doors in the hallway that led to the control center's hallway, he watched on one of the newly reactivated holocams as a set of doors closed, separating half the pirates from each other. Trapping two pirates in the same area as the rangers... he almost felt bad for them.
"Down to two!" he called out, "Closed a set of emergency doors on the other two."
