DESCRIPTION​

The SE-2 worker droid is a model of utilitarian labor droid manufactured by Cybot Galactica. Fairly basic as droids go, the SE-2 has been in production since the Galactic Civil War, standing 1.8 meters height and being equipped with a reader socket for datacards, a standard I/O socket for computer interface plugs and an integrated comlink for long-distance communication.

The SE-2 is used in any number of applications, but is especially popular in roles which require a droid to operate on their own in relatively remote areas thanks to their integrated comlink. They are employed to monitor important system junctions in sprawling industrial complexes, for example, and to perform tasks on large agricultural estates, assessing crop health, performing pest control and harvesting mature crops. They can operate unsupervised for long periods.
