Hello! I know the days of BBCode templates being posted and tutorials are long gone (nowadays, everyone just takes it), but I recently made a pretty cool thing that I wanted to share with everyone.

Here:

Series/Plot Title or just "The First Sith"


THREAD TITLE​

Lucas ipsum dolor sit amet hutt hutt ackbar hoth mara baba han hoth moff amidala. Organa tusken raider padmé palpatine palpatine jade skywalker skywalker. Padmé skywalker gonk mandalorians jabba antilles palpatine tatooine. Gamorrean r2-d2 dantooine skywalker amidala jinn darth organa. Moff jinn owen wedge mandalorians. I'm pretty sure that's the closest we can get to screencrawls in threads without actually having to make an animated screencrawl, which would take a lot of time for a very small detail. Still, they're a pretty cool thing to use when you want to start off a thread, and it gives off a nice vibe. Filled in, your crawl should look something like this:

PUSHING FOR SUPREMACY​

With the fall of the JEDI temple on Ossus, the EMPIRE has turned to the rest of the sector, focusing their sights on a world only hours away. As the Sith campaign on FELUCIA draws to a successful end, the natives hold their breath in suspense to see what their fate is. Will they become another planet conquered by the EMPIRE, or will their brave WARCHIEF protect them from the Sith's evil grasp? A meeting with the fearsome Darth Malos will determine that....

To make it sound even more like a screencrawl, try capitalizing words that are important to the story ("EMPIRE," "JEDI," etc) and use adjectives to describe people/places/factions.
