This is somewhat of an odd armor tech profile, as it's more of a component than armor itself. In any case, here goes.

(liquid)

Affiliation:
N/A.

Ownership:
Lesovikk Faust. Anyone else who has the money to purchase it can use it as well.

Intent:
The intent of this composite is to provide people with a less OP variation of "stealth tech". Perhaps this could even be the original precursor to what would eventually become stealth tech. This opens up roleplay options for not only the various uses of the material, but also its acquisition, including even black market and smuggling scenarios.

Model:
Scatterweave

Weight:
The weave itself is not heavy. More on this below.

Composition:
The material originates from metal-heavy plants. This flora is fairly rare throughout the galaxy, and is most commonly found on Myrkr. However, the Reshek native to Myrkr are very protective of the plants, and only allow a small portion to be harvested each year.

Rating:
It is as vulnerable as the armor and cloth it is crafted into.

Description:
Scatterweave comes in two different forms. The first form is as a liquified coating that hardens onto solid surfaces. This variation is used to coat armor, either by having pieces dipped into it, or being applied to a surface. It can be applied to any set of armor, and potentially (perhaps impractically) to large vehicles too. As far as being used on starships is concerned, it can only be used on exceptionally small starships such as fighters; though this would keep other fighters from gaining a proper lock-on, larger ships have scanners powerful enough to override the scatterweave's effects.
Its second form is a thread. In this form, it is much cheaper and more versatile than the liquid. It can be woven into almost any other fabric and still be just as effective.
In both situations, the scatterweave does not noticeably add to the weight of the material it is applied to.

Scatterweave, coming from the aforementioned metal-heavy plants, has an extremely unique feature: it disorients scans and locks on a target. Unlike conventional stealth tech that reduces its scan signature, Scatterweave instead completely disorients its signal, making a direct pinpoint on a target extremely difficult without more intense sensory systems.
Scatterweave does not need to be applied in copious amounts to achieve this effect; a light coat on a piece of armor and a decent percentage of threads in a garment will do the trick. A single garment made entirely of Scatterweave would be as astronomically expensive as it would be impractical.

Due to the rarity of the material, it would be expensive to acquire; I imagine it would cost about the same as Phrik, maybe a bit more.

@Shalken - Tiny typo. Fauna = Anima. Flora = Plant. As you referred to a plant as fauna.

That was probably a side effect of doing this writeup at 2 am. Fixed!
