DESCRIPTION
The ro hypa lizard, known to be one of the most venomous creatures in the Outer Rim, has been used for poisons since its discovery. The lizard's size make it difficult to kill, with the creatures being described as "giant." If killed, their venom must be harvested quickly and held in special containers to prevent it from dissipating to gas. It can then be mixed with water and a few other common herbs to create a brutal poison. The resulting liquid is greenish, and tastes a bit spicy, though can be hidden very well in flavored drinks like tea, soda, or caf, for example.

Its effects are similar to the effects of the lizard's venom, although unlike the venom, the poison does not need to enter the bloodstream and can be ingested orally. Upon ingestion, it gets to work, with the victim feeling their body temperature slowly rise as their blood heats up. Stomach cramps and sweating ensue, and their pulse slowly rises. It takes a short time for the poison to kick in and knock out the target (5 rounds). Their blood will continue heating up until it boils, then dissipates to a gas, after which it will begin to exit through every hole available. The victim is, naturally, dead after that (10 rounds).

Though the venom is hard to come by, the antidote is not. It is carried at every major hospital, and can be found on every planet in the Core, Mid Rim, or Colonies, as well as being widely available in the Outer Rim as well. The antidote can be administered up until the victim dies, and its effect is nearly instantaneous, capable of bringing them back from the brink of death.
