Kalen was aware of Larana talking, but he words didn't make much sense. He was out again before he could realize he didn't understand her.

He drifted in and out of consciousness, it all blurring together in a jumbled mess. His eyes flickered open what must have been sometime later. There was a small fire in the room, the smoke being venter out through holes in the ship's hull.

Kalen's head throbbed. He should have known his head wound was more concerning. He had further but himself in danger by trying Force techniques behind his years but it had worked, and he wasn't dead...At least he didn't think.

He was covered in a mountain of blankets and actually a little too warm for his liking. He tested moving his toes, and this fingers. One by one they confirmed that he was sore and stiff but he was alright.

"If we die out here, Master Ris will kill us." he said quietly to himself. His throat was dry which caused him to cough slightly when he chuckled at himself. He shifted, trying not to wake Larana who had no doubted exhausted herself saving both of them. They were in quite the mess but they were far too stubborn to die out here.

The fire had reduced to embers in the house since it had been started, but heat still radiated from the metal shipment container that contained it. Larana laid close to keep warm, wrapped in a blanket, having surrendered the rest of them to Kalen in his unconscious state. His condition had been alarming, but she had remained at his side until his temperature had risen and she was certain he'd pull through. It had been a long night and she truly was exhausted.

He would awake to find his head wound had been cleaned and stitched, the door to the closet pulled from it's hinges and rested against the walls of the ship. The first aid kit sat on a table, as well as most of their supplies which she had managed to unearth from the debris, including food and clothing.

"No," she answered his quiet whispers, rubbing her eyes. "If we die out here, she won't have to kill us."

Larana stretched, a pained grimmace on her face. Her body was stiff and sore, as though she'd been hit by a land speeder, but she was alive -- they both were alive. She was thankful for that, though understood that they weren't out of the woods quiet yet. It would, in the best case scenario, take them a few days to repair their ship enough to leave. In a worse scenario, they could be here even longer.

She stood up, holding the blanket wrapped around her shoulders. It was warmer now, but not quite warm enough. "I was worried you weren't going to make it. How are you feeling now?"

He turned as she stirred. "I suppose you're right," he said, smile turning up a grin.

"My head feels like its going to split open," he said, even the relatively quiet sound of their voices sending waves of pain through his head and down his spine. "But I'll live," he said, kneeling down beside the metal box that Larana had used to hold the fire. He held out his hands, feeling the warmth roll past his cold fingers.

"Not sure how we get out of this one," he said just as much to himself as he did her. They were in a tight spot and would have to make some tough choices soon that would likely mean life or death.

"You alright to walk?" he asked, tilting his head towards her. She had been walking around last night, but there were all sorts of injuries that could appear after the adrenaline of the night had worn off. They already had only a couple of options but that list would get much shorter if they couldn't move around easily.
