RETRADE RANKS AND JURISDICTION REGULATIONS

HIERARCHY

GUILDMASTER
The Guildmaster is one man, and the position is for life. The Guildmaster traditionally froms a dynasty, introducing his children into the ranks and subjecting them to advancement until it is time for them to take over, traditionally upon the Guildmaster's death. If the Guildmaster has no children, the Prime Executive dons the mantle. The only expection to this is a coup.
PRIME EXECUTIVE
The Prime Executive fulfills many rolls: advisor, secretary, second in command. The Prime Executive echoes the voice of the Guildmaster and interacts with the Underlords so that the Guildmaster does not have to, allowing the Guildmaster to remain in secret at all times.
VICE EXECUTIVE
The Vice Executive fulfills many rolls: advisor, secretary, third in command. The Vice Executive echoes the voice of the Guildmaster and interacts with the Underlords so that the Guildmaster does not have to, allowing the Guildmaster to remain in secret at all times. It is often noted that the Vice does not step forward unless the Prime Executive is otherwise occupied, or if the state of affairs requires two leaders.
UNDERLORDS
Underlords are the ones who run the individual enclaves. They are either assigned or advanced to their position and are given lordship over one enclave. Planets with multiple enclaves will have multiple Underlords.
CHIEFTAINS
Chieftains are the lieutenants of the ranks, managing the Underlord's direct business for their enclave. The Underlord hand-picks his Chieftains and may have as many as he wishes for whatever purposes he sees fit.
RETAINERS
Retainers are superior to entry-level members, often used for basic supervision of Enforcers and Laymen. They are not yet ready for the authority given to a Chieftain but have shown promise enough to take charge of the low-level members when needed.
LAYMEN
Laymen are the more experienced members of the Ona'bak Retrade. They form the backbone of our organisation, filling the roles of foot soldiers and security in most of the Enclaves and on missions.
ENFORCERS
Enforcers are the general workers of the Retrade. They are often criminals who wanted a more stable position, and showed potential enough for enlistment.

The following terms will be used to properly explain rank regulations and jurisdictional law:

PRIORITY
Priority is the term used to indicate the importance of an order. Priority one indicates that immediate and complete enactment of the order is mandatory. Priority two signifies that it must be done upon the completion of all priority one orders. This is most often associated with chain of command with regards to jurisdiction.

PERFECT RANK
Perfect rank is the acceptance of rank, jurisdiction notwithstanding. Under normal circumstances, a member of the Coruscant enclave follows the command of the Coruscant underlord at higher priority than a Tatooine underlord. On a perfect rank system, both underlords have equal priority because jurisdiction is not considered. This is most often used in tandem with a chain of command enacted prior to its use to prevent conflicting orders.

CORPORATE LEVEL
Under any and all circumstances, the word of the Guildmaster and, by extension, the Prime Executive, are to be followed implicitly at priority one. All other superiors are obeyed at priority two and on. This applies to all Retrade territory and business, and to anyone within or associated with the Retrade.

ENCLAVE LEVEL
While onsite of a Retrade enclave, the word of an underlord committed to that enclave is followed at priority one barring involvement of corporate authority. A rank within its own enclave is higher than the equal rank from another enclave. All other superiors, including underlords from other sites, are followed at priority two and on.

FIELD LEVEL
When on the field during missions or other Retrade business, perfect rank is used. The lead ranking Retrade member will take command and others must follow. In the event of an equal rank division, a Retrade superior will dictate which member is the recognized leader, and others of equal status must follow this decision as though the member selected were a higher rank.

If under any of these circumstances a Retrade superior is found to be violating their authority and/or compromising the authority of those equal to or greater than their own rank, please report them immediately to the Office of the Prime Executive. Any misuse will be dealt with swiftly and harshly.
