The Galactic Republic is long known for reaching out to a great many of it's member worlds, and others when it comes to advancement in particularly all areas of technological development, and economic partnerships. The Republic utilizes contracted corporations from all over to provide much of it's forces, below are what the republic has currently in stock

( note that companies who have provided craft and weapons to the republic should post the craft and specs here, as bragging rights to promote your company

Fury Interceptor
Manufactured by: Costa Industries
Model: F1A Fury (A)(B)(C)(...)
Class: Advanced Fighter
Length: 20 Meters(8 meter cockpit)
Width: 10 Meters at widest to 5 Meters
Height: 6 Meters
Crew: 1 Pilot - 1 Astromech droid
Speed: 3000+ m/s (2000 maneuverable)
Hyperdrive Rating: 2

Shields:

Centralized deflector shields.
Wing based projected shields.

Armament:
-Alpha:
Missile launcher (1)*
Long tip blasters (3)
-Bravo
Drive Disruptor(1)*
Long tip blasters (3)
-Charlie
Cargo Scanner(1)*
Long tip blasters (3)

Description:
The F1 is a combat designed interceptor capable of extremely high speeds. Do not believe though that it is capable of unusual maneuverability at such speeds. The F1's are still limited to maneuvering at less than 3000 M/s, this is however quite maneuverable compared to current technology.

Standard armament consist of three Long Tipper Blasters located on each wing and underneath the cockpit. The guns fire in a burst fire style, three shots from each barrel in an alternating motion between the barrels. This allows for sustained fire without burning out the on-board systems.

Engines on the F1's incorporate a small hyperdrive capable of Microjumps. However such jumps require immense levels of power that require most other combat systems to not be active.

* - these items are equipped in the secondary slot, a section below the cockpit capable of being quickly fitted with combat specific armament. So far there are very few armaments designed for the F1's, giving the F1 only three classifications:

Alpha- Combat fitting
Bravo- Tackle fitting
Charlie- Cargo Scanner

Other fittings are begin designed, for example a shield extender to allow for greater shield capacity in order to increase longevity of fighters. As long as the ship can supply the power it is possible.

Astromech droid. Due to the addition of a hyperdrive an astromech droid is required for most flight. Astromech droids are loaded behind the cockpit and directly connect with the hyperdrive. These droids are capable of carrying out many operations that would require a copilot, however a copilot would significantly increase ship size.

Precursor-Class Destroyer
Manufactured by: Costa Industries
Model: A1A Precursor-Class Destroyer
Class: Destroyer
Length: 350 Meters
Width: 70
Height: 50
Crew: 801
Speed: 175 m/s
Hyperdrive Rating: 1

Armor:

Energized Adaptive Membrane

Capacity:

One Fighter Squadron (12 Fighters)

Armament:

Ion Artillery (1) - Front mounted
Beam Cannon (8) - Panel Mounted
Auto-cannons (10) - On hull

Description: Designed following the Ranger Battlecrusier, the Precursor is a smaller sister-ship. She incorporates similar defensive systems along with a few notable upgrades. Numerous panels can be shifted in order to increase deflection on glancing blows as well as make the ship smaller to certain angles. The effectiveness of this strategy against larger ships is significant enough for it to be a viable tactic but against smaller ships. It's usefulness is overshadowed by the Energized Adaptive Membrane which is very effective when facing off against smaller combatants.

A single Ion artillery cannon is front mounted in an ode to older republic models, but lacks the same punch. However the Destroyers purpose is not the same as the old Battle-Cruisers of the first Hutt war. Destroyers are fast and maneuverable yet long-endurance warships intended to escort larger vessels in a fleet, convoy, or battle group and defend them against smaller, powerful, short-range attackers. That is why on a similar rotating platform on either side of the ship are four Turbo-Lasers.

The auto-cannons mounted about the ship are specifically designed for staving off fighters from any angle of attack, they are manned by an individual gunner.

Alternatively the ship is capable of transporting one squadron of Fighters, the ships are docked and stored in pairs on the underside of the ship. They are deployed from what are essentially over-sized air locks in order to actually allow such a number of ships to be stored on a destroyer.

Ranger-Class BattleCruiser
Manufactured by: Costa Industries
Model: A1A Ranger-Class BattleCruiser
Class: Battle-Cruiser
Length: 500 Meters
Width: 100 Meters
Height: 70 Meters
Crew: 1,401 Officers and Enlisted
Speed: 100 m/s
Hyperdrive Rating: .9

Armor:

Energized Adaptive Membrane

Armament:

Ion Artillery (10)

Description: If any ship could be described as classy, this would be it. Running from front to back a thick, unbroken, multi-layered metal hull protects this ship from fire at all angles. Costa, being the genius he is, designed an energized armor system to create armor capable of withstanding beatings greater than any shield system. Being able to charge a physical object in the sane manner as a shield allows for a high Ion resistance at a lesser energy cost wile maintaining a highly effective defense.

Two rotating platforms on either side of the ship mount five Ion Artillery units each. These cannons are considered over-sized and make the ship incapable of supporting any other weapon systems to maintain stability.

Finally Costa saw the need for a ship that was swift and capable of making quick calculated jumps. By halting energy use from Ion cannons, enough energy can be rerouted to engines to make a nearly instant jump out of combat. The advantages of being able to make a quick jump into hyperspace are endless. The purpose of the quick jump system is to get a ship out of an ambush and into safety, not jumping system.

Costa's revolutionary ship design has tested well in closed testing and very well in field testing, even though most of the testing has been done against pirate groups. It still needs to see 'real' combat against a formal enemy.

Providence-Class Carrier
Manufactured by: Costa Industries
Model: A1A Providence-class Carrier
Class: Carrier
Length: 1,255 Meters
Width: 356
Height: 390
Crew: 2,001
Speed: 50 m/s
Hyperdrive Rating: 2

Armor:

3600mm reinforced durasteel

Shields:

Phased Particle shield and Deflector shields

Capacity:

400 fighters
200 medium craft

Armament:

Dual-Turbolasers (10)
Auto-Cannons (20)

Description: Costa needed to design a ship to compliment his line of high tech ships, unfortunately a carrier could not be designed to the same standards as smaller ships. Instead Costa decided that an appropriately massive compliment of armor could be placed on such a massive ship at little downside. On top of such heavy armor was a phased shielding system meant to weaken a strike to the point that armor would easily absorb such damage.

Turbolasers were mounted on appropriate points all over the ship, their capabilities are understated due to a higher priority on defense and capacity.

By all means the Providence can carry in it's hold a capacity rivaling the greatest of ships ever built. The underside of the ship, the location of the flight deck, is capable of launching every ship in it's hold in moments.

The design is of course not without flaw. The carrier is a hulking mass of armor, and it is slow.
