Dark Eye Circles — One of the most identifying features someone sees when looking at Rena is the dark circles under her eyes. She always appears as though she never gets enough sleep. Difficulty Walking — Rena uses a standard wooden crutch to get around when standing or walking. It doesn't outwardly appear to have any special or unique qualities, possessing an ordinary arm cushion, hand grip, and end tip for stability. Emaciated Physique — Although Rena is easily identifiable as an adult, her body is gaunt, giving her a visibly frail and delicate appearance that looks like a stiff breeze would knock her over.

Character Information​

—Biography Born on Ord Mantell during the height of the conflicts with the Hutts, Rena was almost immediately diagnosed with congenital muscular dystrophy. Although diagnosed early, despite her and her family's best efforts to maintain the best medication and physical therapy available to slow the genetic disease, it continued to degrade her body all the same. She lost her mother early on in childhood during a Hutt raid on her settlement, and after she and her father relocated, he fell ill with a sickness that threatened his life if he didn't receive proper treatment. Regardless of the disease afflicting her and the situation surrounding her parents, Rena was brilliant as a child, maintaining high grades and top scores in every class and test. When she became old enough to make her own decisions, she voluntarily stopped receiving treatments for her dystrophy to focus on paying for the medical assistance her father would need to continue surviving. However, she never informed her father of her decision, choosing to leave him in the dark lest he did the same thing she did and insist his treatments stop to allow her to continue hers. Rena displayed a strong loyalty towards Ord Mantell since childhood, being concerned about the future of her home, family, and friends. However, due to her physical frailty, she often could not contribute in ways that genuinely satisfied her. Despite this, Rena continued doing everything within her power to aid in the efforts against the Hutts to liberate her home. Those efforts paid off when a travelling Jedi sensed her connection to the Force and offered to take her back for training as a Jedi. Rena accepted without hesitation. After arriving at one of the temples, Rena endlessly strove to earn her gradual ascension through the ranks of the Jedi Order. Being physically weak, she received training suited to her capabilities, bolstering her connection with the Force and—eventually—unlocking her capabilities as a Jedi Sage. After achieving knighthood, Rena spent much of her time at temples and on the front lines, travelling to planets ravaged by war and disease to provide healing and other humanitarian efforts.
