BIOGRAPHY

Kyssiara (kih-sha-rah) "Sia" Graush iv-Serket was born on Ziost to a prominent, though unknown to her, member of the Graush noble house from Korriban. Her mother, Syosa, looked upon the young Sia with bitterness and contempt for as long she could remember. As Syosa told it, the Graush man visiting Ziost had been looking to sire competition to his existing heir. As a powerful Kissai sorceress and leader of her tribe on Ziost, Syosa had been one of the man's many picks for a partner; but when Sia was born with the rare mutation of four fingers on their right hand instead of three, the Graush man disowned the child and Syosa fell into a depression with her chance to join high society ripped away by Sia's "deformity."

As a result Sia grew up relying mostly on herself, enduring constant ridicule from her mother. She displayed an early affinity for the Force, being able to easily move objects by the time she was 10. At 12, Sia was already showing talent and promise with pyrokinesis, which finally attracted the attention of her mother. Seeing an opportunity to rekindle Sia's chances as the Graush heir, her mother attempted to perform the Ritual of the Devine to remove her daughter's mutated fourth finger, but Sia resisted. Over the years she had grown to hate the Pureblood high society her mother glorified; she perceived it as snobby, limiting, and ultimately weakening. If fingers or bastard blood were the only thing holding back truly powerful Purebloods from positions of power, than the society was doomed to die clinging to the traditions past. She hated her mother because she'd refused to fight for her right to stay at the Graush's side, for Sia's right to exist as she was. It all came out in a fit of rage during the attempted amputation, with Sia lashing out and using the same knife meant to take away what had become a core part of her identity to relieve her pathetic mother's throat of the blood running through it. It was exhilirating. She'd staked her claim to her own power, her own place in the world, and sealed it with blood.

In the following years Sia continued to experiment with and grow her Force abilities, before she set her sights on the Sith Order. If there was power to be gained outside of the confines of Pureblood culture, it was there. She left Ziost for the Sith Academy at 18, driven to prove that a "half-breed" was as capable as any three-fingered Sith; maybe even more so.

Personality

Given the way non-noble and non-"pure" Purebloods are treated and looked down upon by the upper echelons of Pureblood society, Sia has a massive chip on her shoulder and a burning hatred for what she sees as a snobby society. In fact, she experiences nearly all of her emotions to a fiery, passionate degree, and is rarely afraid to show it or let others know what she thinks. She holds no respect for those she sees as lacking conviction or ambition, while on the flip side holding a deep respect for those who do and turn those ambitions into action, backed by power and skill. Sia can be intensely self-confident to the point of arrogance if she's goaded enough, though she generally tries to avoid aggravating those clearly more powerful than her. For all her intensity, Sia does enjoy having a good time and is genuinely friendly with those she respects, though the same passion that comes through with all her other emotions can lead her to be a bit of a "party animal."

DESCRIPTION
Inspired by the Single Trooper Aerial Platform (STAP) popularized by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars, the G0 series BL1N glider was designed to appeal to government policing agencies and bounty hunters a a versatile, one-person speeder substitute. The glider's design allows its pilot to stand upright, freeing their hands from the restriction of needing to steer a speeder while also allowing for a greater line of sight in all directions. Built-in mag-boots strap onto the pilot's shoes, and they control the speed through pressing their feet down or up (like most speeder pedals) and maneuver the craft through the air with their lower body. The process of learning how to fly the glider can be difficult, especially relative to the cost to buy one, and as such the glider has become more favored by individual bounty hunters, mercenaries, or pirate gangs than the policing authorities it was initially marketed towards.

The glider can be configured to operate through a wrist-mounted computer or gauntlet, both for activating the built-in light blaster cannons mounted under each wing underneath the mag-boots or for flying without its rider as one might control a drone. The glider also has a built in signal jammer with a 100m radius, activated from the same wrist-mounted controls. In the central body of the glider is a small storage space, which some pirate groups have even reconfigured to allow for dropping grenades or thermal detonators in small-scale bombing runs.

The glider as a whole is fairly customizable, with some adding a pair of extendable blades to the front, altering the design of the wings, or even replacing the light blaster cannons with small single-use missiles. With each customization for better firepower comes drawbacks though; the glider is not large enough to carry both blaster cannons and small missiles, for example, without being significantly hampered in both speed and maneuverability. Likewise, mini-bombing bay modifications come at the expense of storage space and speed, while upgrading the blaster cannons from light to medium or even something heavier would likewise decrease speed and overall performance.

LEGALITY
Generally legal. An unmodified G0-BL1N glider might not be illegal but might draw attention due to its use by pirates and other criminals. However, modified G0-BL1N gliders are for all intents and purposes combat craft, and are subject to extra licensing requirements and increased scrutiny by authorities.

INTENT
Besides the somewhat obvious inspiration, I noticed there was a lack of free-standing vehicles in the style of STAPs, and think it would be a good addition for both players or for NPC criminal elements to use.

B I O G R A P H Y

Ayomi Jakarta (ay-oh-mee jah-car-tah) was born on Dantooine to a pair of parents they hardly remember. They were always vying for their parent's attention, yet rarely received it as both were busy working corporate jobs. As such, the young Tiefling quickly began to look for attention elsewhere, starting fights with other children to prove they were the strongest, the smartest, the most worthy. Naturally, this drove other children away from Ayomi, leaving them lonely and bitter. It was a fateful day when they discovered their affinity for the Force at the young age of 7, and another when they lashed out in anger at their parents and put their father in the hospital at age 9. The incident clearly caught the attention of Sith recruiters in the early days of the then-newly-declared Sith Order; Ayomi's parents were all to gladly to get rid of them, and they were shipped off to the Sith Academy on Dromund Kaas. It was there that the Tiefling found a true home —if a cruel one — but if nothing else a place where Ayomi finally felt a sense of purpose. They thrived at the academy, learning not just the purpose of strength and power but several humbling lessons about how much they really had.

Their time at the Sith Academy allowed Ayomi to mellow out and mature, though their drive and need to be at the top was aggressively fostered by the dangerously competitive environment. They took a particularly keen interest in swordplay, martial techniques, and the ancient Sith. The Tiefling struggled to utilize the Force for more advanced applications like alchemy or Sith sorcery, but it flowed through them naturally in material combat as they were consistently the best duelist in their class. After several years of study, Ayomi fled the academy on Dromund Kaas with several other students before its destruction, eventually graduating aboard a cruiser the following year. Now set out as a fully trained Sith, Ayomi seeks to master all forms of lightsaber combat and seek out what secrets of combat may be lost to the ancients through archeological explorations of old Sith sites.
P E R S O N A L I T Y

Ayomi is nothing if not ambitious to a T. Their rough training at the Sith Academy taught them only the drive to get more powerful no matter what, and they see everyone and anything through a lens of personal usefulness. As a result, Ayomi struggles to settle down and take things easy, having generally poor social skills and no friends. Though they won't admit it, while the loneliness helps burn a Dark Side-empowering rage there's a deep wish for companionship beneath Ayomi's hard outward shell; they recently sunk just about all of their savings into a pet droid cat, affectionately named "Friend." The Tiefling is also an obsessive perfectionist, training their martial abilities for hours a day so as to always be at the top of their game.

Darth Zannah's Holocron
Description: This holocron was constructed by the Sith Lord Darth Zannah, the apprentice to Rule of Two creator Darth Bane, sometime after his defeat at her hands and her claiming of the title of Dark Lord of the Sith. The holocron is octahedral in shape, deep crimson in coloration with gold and obsidian-black etchings. It contains the accumulated knowledge of Zannah herself, from her mastery of Form III lightsaber combat to her near-unmatched capability in Sith magic and Dark Side sorcery.

Zannah's holocron was passed down throughout the lineage of Sith following Bane's rule until it came to be in the possession of Darth Sidious, the emperor of the Galactic Empire. Along with other artifacts, the holocron was stored in a secret warehouse on the remote planet G'wenee and sealed in a protected vault that could only be opened with a Dark Side blood ritual. It stay there after the Empire's collapse, forgotten, until the planet's inhabitants rediscovered the warehouse and the holocron was stolen from it by the Sith champions Caerllion and Ayomi Jakarta.


Contents: Darth Zannah's holocron requires a strong Dark Side connection to be opened, as with any other Sith holocron. When opened, the top and bottom halves twist and separate to project an image of the holocron's creator between them. Zannah offers the user(s) her complete knowledge, but it comes with a challenge to prevent the unworthy from her secrets: if they accept the risk, the holocron's user will fall into a Dark Side-induced trance created by both the power of the holocron and their own subconscious. Within their own mental world, the user will find themselves facing their deepest and worst fears; a memory of their past, a horrific monster, a possible future, some combination of those, or something else entirely. If the user cannot conquer and use their fear as their own power, the holocron will reject the user and close itself; such failure has been recorded as causing lasting psychological damage and even physical disfiguration as a result of an inability to control raw Dark Side energy.

Those who successfully exercise control their fears are deemed worthy to receive the knowledge Darth Zannah stored within her holocron, which includes the following:


Emphasis on the Rule of Two
The holocron is no Sith spirit or any other kind of ghost, but the interface both appears in the form of Darth Zannah, its creator, and maintains several of her mannerisms and beliefs. It will instruct users of the merits of Bane's Rule of Two, emphasizing how a strict following of the rule makes the Sith stronger. It will not refuse information to those who do not follow the Rule, but will remind them how they'll inevitably fail if they refuse to do so and propose that the user remedy the situation instead.

Notes on Form III: Soresu
The holocron contains a complete account by Zannah herself of her mastery of Soresu, the defensive form of lightsaber combat, particularly with regards to its applications in fighting with a double-bladed lightsaber and against many and/or physically stronger opponents. It includes both an analysis of duels which Zannah fought, such as her final duel against her master Darth Bane, as well as specific techniques and notes on the form's compatability with Sith sorcery when mastered. Extensive study with the holocron should help users to become masters in the form themselves.

Knowledge of Advanced Sith Sorcery
The holocron also contains Darth Zannah's masterful knowledge of how to manipulate the Dark Side, through both ritual and combative abilities. It can instruct users in how to use abilities that range from the more well-known (yet still difficult to master) Force lightning, stronger telekinetic prowess through a deeper connection to the Dark Side, the ability to make others both witness and relive their worst fears or memories as if they were reality, and the complex ability to summon tendrils of pure Dark Side energy. This ability can only be learned by those who have already mastered the Dark Side, and even then with extreme difficulty; anyone else who tries will risk severe physical harm to themselves, including the loss of limbs, severe scarring and burns, and death.

The tendrils themselves require a user's complete focus and concentration, else they risk losing control of the tendrils. After three, each successive summoned tendril requires even greater mastery and control. Appearing as ethereal and almost smoke-like, the tendrils cannot be blocked by energy weapons like lightsabers and annihilate any physical matter they come into contact with. As such, they can disintegrate through any material and cause immesurable pain to any living being they touch; so much so that even a fully-realized Dark Lord of the Sith like Darth Bane nearly went into shock after contact with one. The tendrils disapate if the conjurer's concentration is broken, or else may indiscriminately lash out if the conjurer summons too many and loses control.

Intent: To create a write-up and clear description for an artifact of one of my personal favorite characters in Legends as well as the holocron my Sith Ayomi and @LouJoVi's Sith Caerllion recoverd in this thread.

—Biography

Haela Iskall (hay-la is-kahll) was a genderfuild Tiefling bounty hunter active during the Force Eternal era. Haela grew up as the only child of a single father in a small village on the Tiefling homeworld of Abelor, and became a talented tracker from a young age. They could never really explain it, but eventually came to call their "Sense." Growing up they apprenticed themself to the village's primary hunter, a grizzled old Tiefling woman named Verinda, to get extra food for their ailing father. What started as a way to provide quickly turned into an obsession, as Haela thrived tracking down big game in the nearby forests. By their mid-teens they'd successfully hunted everything they could on Abelor, and the thrill of the hunt began to die out; an uncratchable itch began to burn its way into their mind.

When their father's condition worsened, Haela took the opportunity to take a shuttle off-world and join a team of hunters tracking infant rancors for an anonymous, but wealthy, client. The experience was exhilirating, even if a bit unsavory, but that exhiliration reignited Haela's love of the hunt and scratched at the itch in their mind for the first time in a few years. Not to mention, the Tiefling's part of the payment went a long way towards their father's medical bills. A few jobs eventually turned into spending most of their time off-world, and then an application into the Bounty Hunter's Guild once non-sentient prey wasn't enough for the "itch." They've now jumped into working as a full-time bounty hunter for several years, always sending part of their paychecks and their trophies to their father back home on Abelor.
