What is going to happen in your plot?
Roman will claim the Fallen Blade
What other writers (and their characters) will be a part of this?
@ByakuyaXVTogami playing with @Percius Anzag
Where are all the locations in which your plot will take place?
Tatooine, Geonosis, Mandalore
Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen. Include opposition type for each thread:
  1. Hunters (Self/DM) - Percius and Roman track down a prison transport vessel, eliminate security personnel to free an artifact hunter named Dusty Walland.
  2. Shardonic Presence (Self/DM) - Percius and Roman with help of the hunter travel to Geonosis, where Darth Victress had battled Koil Solus. With the use of a Sith ritual, remnants and shards from the weapon's essence are still embedded deep into the ground, requiring the duo to extract them. Once these are in hand, they will point to the weapon's final location.
  3. Weapon of Darkness (self/DM) - The last known wielder: Koil Solus, the weapon's trace still belongs on Mandalore and within ancient ruins on the world, the two must battle with a wave of opposing Darksiders in claiming the weapon.

What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game?” Link any items you’re seeking if applicable.
Roman to acquire the Fallen Blade
Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose.
No

lol, I had the page open in a separate tab and was going to upload the link, I must have gotten side-tracked with something and forgot it. Anyways, edited.

So, I must first ask: did you approach @Darasuum first to clarify where the blade might be interred? I'm not sure whether Koil would have died on Mandalore or not, but as the previous owner, he'd pretty much decide where it might be located if the lore article doesn't specify.

Second: frankly, this plot is way too short and simple for a hunt for an artifact before the times of the Sith. For all intents and purposes, this is a fairly legendary item, not an astromech droid, and three self-DM threads are simply not going to cut it. Why would there be a wave of Dark Siders on Mandalore? Why does this Dusty person know where to find the location of a duel 6000 years ago to perform a ritual to locate shards of a weapon that, by now, are likely to be buried under a sea of sand, upon the finding of which allows you to locate the weapon's exact position? I have a great deal of questions about the feasibility of this plot occurring at the beginning of the TL that are not being answered.

This plot looks pretty weak for it to be a hunt for something that is likely to be mere fable by now, especially with the dearth of information on such rare artifacts. The duel might have been broadcasted, but Koil didn't exactly go around writing down where his treasure might be, and few would know where his body would be located with the weapon, if he kept it until he died.

I'm gonna need you to seriously beef up this plot. Neither of your Sith characters would have the knowledge base or authority on hand to just handwave finding out about something this rare.

@Faded

What would you suggest would be an appropriate number of threads? I guess I didn't appreciate the legendary status of the weapon since I had claimed it last TL but I suppose with the passing of 6000 years, its fable would have grown.

If it's not a matter of trouble, I think I might cancel this thread at this moment and revisit the artifact when my character is more developed. Sorry to waste your time.

@Painus
At minimum I'd like to see at least double the number of threads, given the fact that both characters are newcomers to the faction, with more opposition than self-DM. Honestly, something like this is likely to be reserved much farther along the road than day 2 of the TL, so if you think you're better off revisiting it when you're more established, I'll go ahead and reject the plot.

Yeah sounds good, I'll approach it when my character is more established with the TL
