Reljyrd is not the strongest human out there, instead he relies on his speed and flexibility, both in movement and thinking, to carry him through a fight. His improvised form of Niman using his lightsaber and shield gauntlet is a mix of Ataru inspired acrobatics with quick slides, dives, and shield bashes designed to get him in under the guard of his opponents to finish them. Reljyrd is extremely intelligent, especially in areas concerning espionage, explosives, computers, robotics, astromechanics, programming, history, and military tactics. Rel's master always used to say that if he could just focus on the bigger picture instead of picking his course and brashly setting himself upon it, he would be capable of great wisdom. Unfortunately, Rel continues to make decisions on the fly and roll with whatever comes – sometimes it works out in his favor, other times it doesnt. Reljyrd is described as very charismatic by his compatriots, capable of coaxing both friends and enemies out of the information or resources he needs with a few strong words and gestures.

At the controls of his YT-2400, the Hammer of the Light, he has been known to push the military grade sublight drives past their usual performance capacity to outrun and outmaneuver the attack ships of the Empire as he continues his Force-given mission to destroy the Sith, ranging from sabotaging shipyards and supply lines to blockade running interdicted star systems and planets to deliver weapons, medical supplies, and equipment to people fighting against the Empire behind their lines. He is also a skilled warrior and tactician, having led assault groups both as a Jedi Knight and then as an independent spacer in attacks against criminals, slavers, and military installations. He's a skilled mechanic and techie, having built the droid chassis for his AI Archimedes as well as effecting multiple upgrades and repairs on the systems of the Hammer. One of his lesser known talents is his skill as a slicer – he carries around infiltration spikes at all times and is unusually skilled at manipulating computer and security systems to get the information he needs.

Highly improvised form of Niman with Ataru leanings, giving Reljyrd a reputation for being unpredictable. Using a modified shield gauntlet that emits a meter wide nearly solid disc of transparent energy as both a way to block attacks as well as an offensive weapon by bashing people with it in coordination with his bronze lightsaber, Relyrd's combat style is the perfect mix of offensive capabilitiy and defensive necessity.
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Besides being powerful in the force and skilled in using a highly improvised form of Niman relying on his shield gauntlet and his lightsaber, along with a back up Shoto, Reljyrd is a masterful pilot, using the Force to guide him at the helm of his YT-2400 the Hammer of the Light. He is also extremely skilled with computers, demolitions, and droids, and usually serves as the "slicer" for his slowly forming intelligence and criminal organization.
Reljyrd also harbors quite the arrogant streak due to his push to become better than his peers. Many of his former Jedi companions believe that it is that arrogance that led to him leaving the Order thinking that he was the only person who could work to prevent his vision from happening. He also has a bit of a Hero Complex that Ni`car describes as a "saving people thing", especially when he has to deal with slavers. This has led to him making several bad decisions, including ones that led to him getting a galaxy-wide bounty on his head by a Hutt cartel. The weakness that weighs on him most though his his complete inability to heal other people. For Reljyrd, it makes him feel like a failure as someone who is supposed to be a Guardian of sentient beings against evil.

The Hammer is an extremely modified YT-2400 that Reljyrd purchased from a disreputable Dug on Nar Shadda. Reljyrd spent nearly three months tearing out the internal systems and replacing them with modern avionics and communications, as well as upgrading the capacity of the current engines. After working for three years doing as many smuggling jobs as possible to save up the necessary funds, Reljyrd managed to purchase military-grade ion sublight drives as well as replacing the belly dual heavy laser turret with a dual ion turret and outfitting one of the missile tubes with proton torpedoes.. The hyperdrive as a modified Phoenix/HP2G drive that gives the ship it's Class 0.75 Hyperdrive. Combining the aid of the Force with the powerful engines and weaponary, the Hammer is capable of outpacing most stock and military ships and can hold it's own in a fight when it can't escape.
DROIDS:
An AI named Archimedes that takes the form of a Rishii programmed and built by Reljyrd Kartegra that normally resides in the main computer. Archimedes is in charge of communications as well as firing solutions on the forward missile tubes and plotting hyperspace courses faster than Reljyrd can. He is also capable of taking control of the belly and dorsal turrets when there is no one else onboard besides Reljyrd and Nic'ar, using a series of external cameras to figure out firing solutions.

PERSONALITY:
Fiercely passionate about protecting the innocent and dedicating himself to stopping all n'er dowells he can, Reljyrd in particular is very anti-Sith, and will often times do blockade runs in his YT-2400 to sabotage Sith supply lines and bring medical equipment and aid to planets being subjugated by the Dark Side Empire. He is also someone who tends to think on his feet in most situations, which causes him to be rash and unpredictable. Friendly to most people except Slavers and Sith, Rel always seems to be content, whether he's piloting his ship through a fighter screen to attack a Sith outpost or sitting in a bar with his hood up smoking his pipe.
BIOGRAPHY:
Born on Dathomir into slavery, Reljyrd went undiscovered by the Jedi Order until he was nearly fifteen years old when his owner, a Dathomir witch named Selestina brought him to the Temple on Ossus with her when she went to be trained as a Jedi. The Academy Master demanded that he be freed and allowed to train, as his force potential eclipsed hers significantly. Angry and ashamed, Selestina refused and tried to go back to Dathomir - Reljyrd refused to follow and was wounded in the ensuing struggle. Selestina fled and presumably made it back to Dathomir.
Trained by a Defel Jedi named Brutus, Rel worked extremely hard at both combat training and his scholarly education, his former life as a slave pushing him to try and do better than all of his peers. He was made a Knight when he was 29, and spent the next five years serving the Order as a combat trainer when he was at a Jedi Academy and out on missions gathering Jedi Artifacts as well as taking part in breaking up several slavery rings on Malastare and Tatooine.
When he was 30, Rel was deep in meditation when he had a vision. A great black cloud was moving in over the Galaxy. It rained fire down upon the land and great arcs of red lightning blazed from deep within. Beneath it marched an army of shadows, wielding swords of flame and with them came despair and destruction. The cloud engulfed the Galaxy and Reljyrd saw his own death, fighting in front of the Youngling Dormitories at the Temple on Tython against a never ending mass of shadowy figures. He fell, pierced by red fire and Reljyrd was pulled out of the vision by the pain. He asked his Master what hte vision could have meant, and was told to meditate on it further. After nearly a month of isolation on the planet Ilum in the Force Vision inducing crystal caves, Reljyrd finally had a revelation. Lost in another vision, he saw the dark cloud advancing on the Galaxy again, but instead of it being consumed he was given a vision of himself at the helm of a ship, flying through a fleet of motley ships against the arrayed forces of the Shadow army. He was no longer dressed in the traditional robes that he preferred, but in the garb of a spacer. The shadow was pushed back, and the vision ended.

Feeling that the only way to avert the future of the first vision was to abandon his life as a Jedi and attempt to combat the coming unknown darkness in another capacity, Reljyrd left the Jedi Order behind and used the funds he had to buy an old YT-2400. Working for a Hutt named Ockga, he did smuggling missions until he had enough money to overhaul the ship, adding a new hyperdrive and weapon system as well as updating the sublight drivers. He slowly started to gain a network of contacts and black market dealers in the Underworld of the Galaxy, building an information network that would allow him to keep tabs on the outskirts of the Galaxy and the growing threat he felt emanating from the dark reaches of Unknown Space. In between jobs, he would go on galaxy wide searches for different Force Users, like the Fallanassi and the Baran Do sages, seeking to gain knowledge of different aspects of the Force to use against the shadowy specter haunting his visions and dreams It was what would be his last job for Ockga that Reljyrd made himself known on a galactic scale, and not in a way that was necessarily good.
He discovered the the ship he was escorting for Ockga, a heavily modified and mostly droid crewed CR-90 Assassin class Corvette, was carrying more than two hundred slaves towards Nal Hutta, a peace offering to a more powerful Hutt cartel in an attempt to gain access to their spice mines. Claiming that his hyperdrive was malfunctioning, he docked within the hold of the Assassin Corvette and made his way towards the Bridge. Demanding that the Bridge Crew order the other crew members to abandon ship, Reljyrd was forced to use his lightsaber and force powers when the crew fought back, revealing for the first time that he was in fact a Force User to the seedier side of the galaxy.
After defeating the Bridge Crew and putting their unconscious bodies into the command escape pod, Rel took control of the ship and brought the slaves to Coruscant, where he freed them into Galactic Alliance custody. One slave was particularly grateful, a Bothan named Nic`ar. He had been captured while on a mission for the Bothan Spynet and had been kept by Ockga for nearly 5 years. Grateful for his freedom, he pledged himself and all the resources he had available to him to Rel, giving Rel access to one of the most comprehensive intelligence networks in the galaxy. Taking Nic`ar on as his co-pilot, Raynor hid the Assassin on an asteroid in the Hoth System and left with Nic aboard his YT-2400.

The Sith revealed themselves and took control of the Galactic Empire. He was determined to avert the dark future he had seen.
