The Sith within her was bred on the lower levels of Coruscant, amid the shadows of the Empire. It wasn't the sort of place that nutured innocence- the streets, heavy with crime, were no place for children. Dissidents of all kinds were often seized and persecuted within the public eye to command respect and obedience from the rest. Those who managed to avoid punishment, did so because they were hidden- their identities unknown and concealed from the outside. It was a vicious world of darkness, where a careless remark, a denunciation, or the murmur of an inquisitive bystander could lead to discipline and death. Posters littered the streets, criers seeking recruits and holonet addresses made it hard to escape the harsh realities of war, but in spite of their methods, the Empire maintained order.

To ensure their numbers continued to rise, a fair number of Coruscants children, tested for force-sensitivity at birth, were removed from their families and raised with the expectation that they would one day become Sith- this was Reina's reality. The idea was imposed that, if left untrained, Reina and many other force-sensitive children, would be a threat to themselves and to society; they were unpredictable and therefore, better suited to be kept away until they were old enough to be trained at the Sith Academy. Surrendered as an infant for this very purpose, Reina had been separated from her mother for so long that the word mother meant nothing to her at all.

This was not an uncommon reality, but for a child who was considered by most standards a ward of the Empire, it was a dark one.

Raised in the undercities, she was not unfamiliar with the faces of the Inquisition who existed only to maintain order. These men served to stomp out the potential threat of Republic sympathisers, but were also frequent visitors to the home that Reina shared with other displaced children- an Imperial funded establishment for children who were intended for the Academy. It was members of the Sith Empire who came to steal children when they needed to be disciplined or when they were deemed fit for the Academy. They often came without warning and their presence was rarely welcomed- theirs were the faces of fear.

Reina spent 15 years there, afraid for the day that the Academy would come to claim her. Out of a desire to survive, she learned to avoid them entirely and where other children would steal to appease their appetites, she instead learned to survive on crumbs, too afraid to face the consequences of her immoral actions. In silence, she watched as others were cruely reprimanded and soon time turned her fear into an increasing veneration of the power that they held and a desire to claim some of that power as her own. Reina was a no one, but the idea that she didn't have to be pushed her to accept that this was her destined path- no matter her apprehensions.

Her day came to be claimed and she boarded their ship without protest, despite the fires of fear that still burned within her. To become Sith was her intended purpose, the reason her parents had abandoned her as an infant, but the question of what awaited her on Ossus had never been answered. Reina had witnessed their power, but wondered what it had cost- no one had taken the time to prepare her, but it served her well in the end. Had she known what trials awaited her, she would not have left so readily.

Their lessons were not simple or kind but too often deceitful and unprincipled, aimed at turner anger and hatred into a source of power. Reina was broken of her reliance on fear, never allowed to watch silently from the shadows as she had for so many years. Her Master immersed her into roles at the Academy where there was no room for weakness or apprehension. The Sith tore down the quiet child who had hidden from the Empires policing agents and learned to accept her position as a no one and instilled in her a drive to succeed.

It was with no small amount of physical or mental exertion that Reina excelled and was, in due course, released to a position on Coruscant to continue her training and unite with Imperial military forces to become another face within the Empire. This doesn't make her anyone important, but the desire for power still burns within her and it's a flame that cannot be contained.

Reina does not play well with others, as stated in her public records from her time as an orphan and a student of the Sith Academy- if she want's it, she takes it no matter the cost. The world is cruel and she holds onto the idea that you have to be able to take and sacrifice in order to succeed; leaders carve paths and, when they're no longer useful, followers are left behind. Self-reliance has always been key to her survival, as she never had anyone to look out for her who's motives were not dependent upon whether or not she survived. In fact, Reina has always had to fight for what she wants and has never found life to be all that simple.

To others, she seems a quiet shadow but inside burns the quiet flame of hatred; for her troublesome childhood, for her burdens of survival, for those who have turned their backs on her and for all that she's had to endure to become more than a scared child. Reina doesn't care for the opinions of others, but works beside them when it benefits her and her continued success. She can be calm and collected when the situation calls for it, but has no hesitations about violence when things aren't working in her favor.

I like the story of pursuit from an agency out to acquire Force Sensitive children! However, the Inquisition did not endure the test of time -- at the end of the last timeline, all of the major members of the Inquisition had perished and their legacy was not ensured. That being said, Sith Academies would definitely perform the function of collecting Force Sensitive children to harness their potential so changes to the bio reflecting that would allow you to pursue the themes you wish.

Let me know what you think and we'll get this approved!

@Rexx

I thank you for your input and wasn't sure if they had survived the prior time line. I've made appropriate changes to her biography and switched the Inquisition to members of the Sith Academy- namely lower level Sith in charge of policing Coruscant. Please let me know if this is sufficient.

You need to link the gear you have to actual tech write ups, but outside that looks alright.
