There was the distinct sound that alerted Tiamat that she may have found herself in a precarious situation. The doors closed with a loud thump and the gears still echoed in the chamber as they turned, sealing her inside the tomb with the phantom. Tiamat pursed her lips together, hearing the amusement from the Phantom as it explained her situation now. There was not too many choices she had now and if the Phantom was telling the truth...well, she would have to get to that point first.

It sounded desperate and Tiamat was uncertain of the power it still had as it rested between a realm of living and the dead. There was now soft glow in the tomb as she walked about the phantom, expanding her senses to see where this creature resided that it wanted. She found a spot where the darkside seemed stronger and stood in silence, palms facing upward as she searched for this creature for the Phantom.

The darkside on Moraband was as aggressive as the Force nexus on Eriadu where she had completed her training. She commanded the shadow and cold that nipped at her being, "So why are you trapped here?" she inquired as she searched for the creature it wanted, beckoning for a presence that seemed to be missing its other half.

Malicia was glad when she sensed Renfry follow behind. Another Sith saw fit to join her at the same time, and while Malicia was not always welcoming to uninvited company there was something about this world that invigorated her. The Darth continued forward, each step strengthening that sense.

Finally, she stepped into the throne room. A large, almost open arena, its floors blanketed in a stormy mist. The moment Malicia stepped into the room, something overwhelmed her. "I've never felt.... so complete," she said, lowering herself in attempt to grab some of the mist. Bringing it upward after, she spun suddenly in place and a smile crawled across her cheeks.

Her eyes stared back at Renfry after, but they were different. They were voids again, but there was an edge to them. More than before. All three parts of the Darth: her hunger, the Sith spirit and her own spirit were harmonized here. They understood one another clearly, even if they weren't merged yet.

"What is it about this world? Its not just connected to the Dark Side, there's something else," she asked Renfry, unaware of how thin the veil between the living and dead was on the world. "Whatever it is is focused here in this room and expands outward," she continued while walking up to the throne itself. Malicia ran a hand along part of the chair, dark blue sparks jumping in her hand, but they didn't hurt her.

The spirit or creature watched the Sith began to stir, attempting to fulfill it's request. Even though Tiamat searched for something out of place, she wouldn't find it. She wouldn't find anything but the signatures of the other Sith on the planet or anything else that she generally picked up.

While it had sat in the same spot since she first arrived, the shadow moved now. It drifted beside the Sith, its voice nearly booming because it was closer, "You won't be able to find it without my help!" it said, a condition it hadn't mentioned till now. It was trying its very best to stay as close as possible to the Sith woman as it continued to speak. "Let me inside your mind. I can guide you. I can help you find it, and then you will be free." It ignored her question completely, something that might be telling.

Another Sith came with them, and it wasn't anyone that Renfry knew, but that didn't mean much. There were a great many Sith she didn't know and the man didn't speak up.

Renfry could tell the shift within Malicia within this place, but her own mind was less on the Darth and more on the place. It was vibrant and familiar. In many ways it felt like being back on Dathomir for better or worse. But it was also different. The Sith hadn't lived in harmony with the world, they had subjugated it and drained it.

She heard Malicia say that she sensed something different as well and she nodded.

There are many spirits here, she said. This entire world was filled with them. She could sense them all around even if she couldn't see them right now. Perhaps what was inside Malicia made her more sensitive to their presence.

She saw Malicia make her way up to the throne, and saw the sparks of lightning. Renfry couldn't help but wonder if the spirits would respond to someone approaching the throne. Everything in this place was... thick with the afterlife and she wondered if they were as protective as those on Dathomir.

The screams one by one came to an abrupt end. Within the lonesome dark void that had flooded throughout the upper levels of the temple, the life of the first raider was snuffed out with a sharp and sudden swing to the man's neck, swiftly beheading the interloper that would choose to invade the Sith world, as well as to dare aim the muzzle and scope of his sniper rifle upon those who truly had the right to set foot on this world. The dull thud of a lifeless body collapsing on the floor confirming to the remainder of the raiders that the first of the pair had fallen.

The second however was not spared such a swift fate, from within the darkness Ceryx closed in on the remaining interloper, her unarmed hand reaching up towards the interloper's head and balling into a tight fist, manipulating the Force so that the darkness would dissipate, as the Sith lord dulled the raider's senses to the point that she would slump onto the floor in a comatose state. No sooner had the raider collapsed, the thick oppressive darkness that surrounded the Sith lord dissipated, revealing the blonde Sith as she disengaged her lightsaber and clipped it to her belt. Ceryx's milky white gaze turned to face the Cadre aids that were holding back at the end of the corridor, looking at them for a moment as her irises phased back into their normal chestnut hued state. "Take her to the lower levels, I suspect there will be an interrogation chamber there" Ceryx instructed two of the closest Cadre members. "And, see that he is made ready" the Sith lord added, as a slight smirk curled at the edge of her lips. "Perhaps there is something in the air, but I am feeling indulgent"

Watching as the two Children of Alkis nodded and moved to lift the unconscious raider, dragging limp form away moving deeper into the Temple and disappearing from sight. A pensive expression crossed the Sith's features as her mind contemplated her coming steps, but for the time being she still had a task to complete. Beckoning for the remaining Cadre members to follow, the Sith lord lead them through the building descending floor by floor. Periodically stopping as they encountered possible relics and points of interest that had peaked the Sith's curiosity over the various artefacts they had come across - with each time the group stopped and found an article of worth, their numbers grew thinner witting it down to the point that the Sith Lord would arrive to the lower level chambers alone.

There was nothing that she could find in the tomb that would be the other half of this spirit; her temple twitched as she reached deeper into the Force, feeling something colder than ice brush against her. Its voice boomed in her ear, avoiding her question entirely and the redheaded Sith opened her eyes, the Force shifted around her. Its intent was revealed in its words, there was no freedom promised by the spirit and that certainly annoyed her, she would have to do this the hard way and she wasn't really looking forward to do much work today.

The spirit then took it a step further, offering to help if she took it into her own self, into her mind to guide her to its treasure. Tiamat glanced to the door that it had it mentioned to contain its treasure and her brow furrowed as she quickly looked for opportunity. She wasn't looking for treasure so the girl wasn't too interested in gaining the luxury of artifacts and decided this was certainly not worth her time. The Force rippled as she readied herself for the spirit's retaliation while she walked toward the door that supposedly hid away its treasures.

Her saber hilt was tightly grasped in her palm as she ignited it, the bled pearl screamed in the Force as she was about to wreck whatever treasure was hidden away behind mystery door number four.

So she was sensing other spirits? Malicia tipped her head curiously, running her hand down the throne until she noticed the lightning start to crawl further up her arm. It was almost like a hand grabbing onto her. Did it want her to sit, or was it some sort of trap? Did it even have any sort of understanding at all? Malicia stared for a moment, deciding that there was no reason to stop now that she'd gone this far.

Turning around, she looked at Renfry one more time before sitting back onto the throne. Immediately, as she suspected, that lightning jumped throughout her body. This time she was prepared so she only grunted instead of screamed. Like before the pain left her quickly, but unlike before she couldn't move after. Whatever force it was still gripped her.

But that was only the first thing she noticed.

The second was several clicking noises, which she quickly realized were doors locking. That included the throne room door. Malicia's eyes flicked to the third thing, a collection of the mist swirled behind Renfry until it was in a vaguely human shape. Then another one formed on the left side of the room. Then another on the right. Then another in front of the throne itself.

Out in the hallways and other rooms throughout the temple, similar spirits formed and dashed quickly at the other Sith with intent to kill.

The Darth started to struggle against the thrones grip on her. Feeling anger begin to stir within her, a deep frustrated growl rumbled in her chest. The Force started to stir around her, increasing until the room itself started to shake. She needed to break free.

----------------- Inside the Tomb -----------------

lrqWQmz.jpg

The spirit knew exactly what the Sith was about to do, or, at least, it thought it did. She was going to try to take or destroy the treasure. It dashed in front of the Sith, booming a "NO!". It didn't stop there either. It vanished through the door and went into the last room.

There were several more statues in the room. Four in total. They weren't all the same like the statues in the other chambers. All of them were posed differently. Each had a different weapon. They all had chains on their arms and legs that were connected to the chests beside them. And every statue was broken and their chest looted, except for one. One statue was whole and its chest still locked.

"Come into here and I'll kill you," the spirit warned, stopping in the middle of the room.

Is that wise? she asked, as Malicia moved closer to the throne and sat in it. It seemed questionable almost as if it were a trap. At least that was the impression Renfry got. Presumably whoever came here would want to sit on the throne. If there were something Renfry was going to make a trap of, the throne seemed like that would be it.

The appearance of the spirits in the room, however, drew all of her attention moments later. She was always wary of such things, but having them all appear at once was a surprise.

And there were four. She didn't like those odds alone and cast a glance back at Malicia. Not only did the woman appear to be unable to move, but there was now a spirit between the two of them and directly in front of the Sith Lord.

She didn't like this at all.

She reached out and let the Force wrap around Malicia in an attempt to help yank her from the seat, just enough of a jolt to get her back to her feet as she watched the spirits for any sign they might attack. She hoped that with the help the Darth might be able to free herself. Renfry much preferred a 2v4 to a 1v4. @Dread

The sweep of the temple completed, the acolytes and servants delegated to her command were in position and standing guard over the marked relics and items of note worthy importance - in the Sith Lords eyes that were, each Sith after all had their own view of what would be of significance. Now all that was left to do was tend to the remaining raider now being held captive within the lower Chambers. Stepping through the doorway into the large space, the Sith Lords eyes fixed upon the female raider, who had been dutifully bound and chained to the pillar that stood in the very centre of the room.

Ceryx had questions to ask of the Raider, centring over whether there were more trespassers on the world, so that they can be hunted down and delt with. But an interrogation through the means of bitter back and forth, infliction of pain was not going to cut it - the Sith had more pressing matters to deal with, and not willing to waste the time on this whelp. No, she would rip the answers right from the woman's mind, but whilst doing so through conventional means would be perhaps more efficient, being on Moraband, far from prying eyes presented an opportunity.

Reaching into a satchel that hung to the side of her hip, concealed within the folds of her cloaked outer robes, Ceryx retrieved a leather bound journal and swiftly thumbed through the pages. The tatty looking journal, looked as if it had certainly seen more than it's fare share of use over the years - being the personal journal of the Sith Lord, that had been used as a single point of reference for Ceryx's musings, and the compiled notes of her years of research and trawling over her collection of gathered ancient texts, both Jedi and Sith - in addition to texts and notes that circled around what many would see as being mere fables, but when delving deep into the night-time cautionary tales for children links and ties to the Force can be drawn.

nY0dT44.gif

Coming to a stop at the desired page, the Sith Lord's eyes scanned over the pages of hand scrawled notes, directions and incantations written in the High Sith tongue. Whilst most of the opened pages had lines upon on lines of notes scrawled by the Sith Lords own hand, they were also accompanied by sigils and other archaic imagery that had been painstakingly recreated from the crumbling pages of various tomes and scriptures circling around Sith Sorcery, Hakotei prophecy rites and even Dathomiri Magiks that the blonde Sith had accumulated, either on her various travels or as the spoils from removing the last remaining traces of the Cult of Locura on her home world.

Yet for all the hours and sleepless nights pouring over, studying the notes she had compiled. There had been little opportunity to actively put her studies into practice, the discovery of a Planetary Governor dabbling in rituals of the darkside would create more than a scandal - it would certainly draw the attention of the Jedi to Bakura and compromise everything she had worked for brining the planet into the indirect control of the Sith Order. With the raiders now delt with, and the remainder chained to the pillar, Malicia's followers standing guard over the relics, the Temple as far as Ceryx was aware, was in Sith hands once again - it seemed that now was as good an opportunity as any to indulge herself and attempt to practice the archaic arts of Sorcery.

Holding the journal out in front of her with one hand, before raising her other and holding its palm so that it faced the dazed prisoner. The Sith's eyes phasing into a milky white as she focused and channelled the Force through her and bent it to her will. "Rizûti hadzuska an ri rizûti naktis! Rizûti hadzuska an ri Rizûti naktis Asarsi ki waria, Udai ki dzuontai!" Ceryx incanted, repeating the words in the ancient High Sith tongue, her channelling hand motioning various gestures to guide and direct a swirling dark miasma like haze that circled around the captive woman, who reacted to the thickening dark and oppressive air that was surrounding her, by fruitlessly struggling against the restraints. Only to find that there was little give or any sign of yielding to her attempts, the raider was secured fast and not going to escape.

The dark haze worked its way up closer and closer to the woman's features, tendrils reaching forwards as if poking and prodding for an opening to ensnare the raider's mind. But just as the haze was about to lurch forwards, a reprieve came for the struggling prisoner, as the attention and focus of the Sith Lord was interrupted. Bringing the ritual to an abrupt end - the cause for the distraction, originated from the heavy near thunderous sound of the stone doors to the chamber grinding to a close. The bassy tones of the stone work being in itself being drowned out by the sounds of screams echoing throughout the halls of the temple, as the Cadre members stationed at various points to guard the found relics were assailed by the Sith spirits.

Snapping the journal shut, the Sith Lord cussed under her breath in frustration, before her attention shifted towards the sealed chamber doors. Her eyes narrowing as they fell upon the sight of the threat that was now manifesting itself. Reaching for her lightsaber, the blonde Sith continued to pool and channel the Force preparing herself for whatever eventuality would reveal itself - which soon enough was revealed by the shimmering form of an spectre like visage of a gaunt looking Zabrak, stepping effortlessly through the stone surface of the closed chamber doors as if they weren't there.

Stepping back a few steps, as the spirit advanced towards her, the Sith lord regarded the apparition her face contorting into an expression of concentration as she assessed what she was seeing before her, a manifestation of the Force - something that resorting to physical attacks with her lightsaber would be something she would suspect will prove to be fruitless. The only thing that she suspected would have any true effect would perhaps be to manipulate the Force around the spirit.

The chamber was soon filled with the sound of frantic screaming, originating from the raider as she regained consciousness, and at the sight of the Spirit resumed her futile struggles against her restraints. The air in the chamber grew cold as the dark side reacted favourably to the state of terror that the captive was now feeding it - not wanting to find what effect that it would have on the apparition, The Sith Lord focused on the Spirit, raising her hand and manipulating the Force around it, forming a sphere like barrier that surrounded the apparition. "Spirit, speak your purpose" Ceryx spoke, her tone sharp and stern as she stared at the spectre in front of her.

As Tiamat approached the door, the spirit assumed the worst was about to come from the young Sith. It rushed in front of her, wisps of its being disappearing through the stone as its protest still echoed through the halls. She stabbed her blade through the stone, listening to it crackle and pop as the heat of the saber melted the stone. Tiamat gritted her teeth as she pushed the blade over, down, forward and up, hearing the spirit warn her of what would happen if she entered the room.

Tiamat scoffed, and when she reached the end point of her cut, she released a potent pulse from the Force, sending the stone block forward and across the room. She glanced inside, seeming to respect the spirit's words, her red blade glowing as she glared at the spirit who seemed vastly concerned about another entering. Her blue eyes flickered to the broken statues, and then finally to the one that still remained untouched. Her thoughts begun to turn as she glanced back to the spirit and pointed her saber at the statue still in tack, then extinguished it.

"I'm not here for your treasure, spirit." she glared at the apparition, her senses opening to feel for anything that would tried to take the better of her, "But someone else might..." she tilted her chin up just slightly, "What happened to the other statues? Looks pretty obvious where the last treasure is hidden if someone came to find it."

Stay with us, whispers hissed.

Could Renfry hear them, or just her?

STAY, STAY, STAY, STAY

The voices nearly became a parade of screams as the Darth tried to pull herself from the seat, but she was no stranger to the incessant whispers of the dead. Their voices nearly drowning out the sound of the whining throne, the walls, and everything around.

She felt Renfry's Force wrap around her next, and finally began to move.

But the blue lightning hissed between Malicia and the seat in a way that should've given her a warning. The further she got the more it seemed to go into a frenzy. Sparks jolted from the seat and crawled along her skin, piercing her. Malicia's head shot back and she let out an uncontrollable scream. Her focus faltered from the pain, and maddeningly she was forced back onto the throne.

Yet the pain cleared for a moment, and her head raised to speak again, "No."

With the declaration Malicia renewed her vigour. Pushing off the throne, the world shook again but she growled each word, "I.... cannot.... stay forever." Bolts shot up from the chair again, the Darth screamed incoherently but continued after. "Can you not see?"

For a second the blue hissed, but it did not protest as she began to raise from the throne.

"Search my mind. Look closer and you will see what I truly am. What I must do," Malicia's eyes were all but voids, the edge to them nearly gone. "What calls to me."

The hissing stopped, and clicks throughout the building echoed again in a sound that brought her satisfaction, but as she looked down all four spirits dashed forward towards Renfry. Her eyes instantly had some life return to them as anger flared in her. Why were they still attacking Renfry if they'd accepted what she said?

Malicia raised her hands, using the lingering pain and her anger to spew her own lightning. It crackled from her hands, ensnaring at least two of the spirits, the one in front of her and the one to the left. "ENOUGH!"

But the one behind Renfry continued forward, grabbing for the Nightsister. The one to the right groaned as it raised its own hand and the Force shot forward to try to push the Nightsister towards the left, into the hissing lightning.

----------------- Inside the Tomb -----------------

The air around the spirit stirred and anger and fear permeated the entire chamber. It stayed quiet for the few moments the Sith spoke. It still did not answer any of her questions.

"OF COURSE YOU ARE HERE FOR IT! I AM NO FOOL!"
it boomed, almost panically floating into the statue after. It appeared this was not an expected outcome for it and it clearly did not trust the Sith at all. The moment the spirit entered the eyes of the statue lit up in bright red, and both chambers began to shake.

"LEAVE NOW!" it demanded, and finally the the doors to the chambers behind the Sith opened. Lighting up and seemingly offering her the choice of freedom, though she'd be able to sense danger and hear rattling.

Soon she'd be able to see one of the many statues from the other chambers stumbling towards her. A second later she'd see another statue, and another, and another as they all began to seemingly fill with life and the desire for murder.

That is, unless she choose to run before they could.

Renfry could tell that the Darth was struggling with her own internal thoughts and the spirits around them. Even with Renfry's yank from the seat, it seemed like she was almost frozen. She was muttering and Renfry wondered if she was speaking to the spirits outside or within.

She knew she didn't have time to figure it out or help the other woman. The spirits were closing in on the Nightsister, and she started moving quickly. She dodged to the side of the spirit approaching her from behind. Perhaps this was why Malicia had wanted her to come. Renfry knew how to reach across the Veil, to touch the spirits, and to subjugate them.

And yet, the Nightsister knew that the spirits here weren't likely to bend to her will. Her hand glowed with green fire and she struck out. Her hand reached across to the spirits domain and slammed into it, sending it flying back into the far wall with a vicious screech as the other approached.

She spun adeptly, her hand lashing out again to keep it at bay. Renfry didn't know what Malicia had seen on that throne, but it had better have been worth it.

Part of her suspected that her attempt to trap and question the Sith Spirit would prove to be fruitless, though she couldn't help but feel a little disappointed none the less. It would appear that the spirits that had manifested, were not seeking to commune and be reasoned with, they sought to attack those who had set foot within the ancient temple - evidenced by the spectral form of the Zabrak resisting and manipulating the Force in an attempt to break the Sith Lord's formed barrier.

Releasing her hold of the Force energies she had been manipulating, Ceryx stepped back building the distance between herself and the spectre - looking to conserve and then redirect the Force into a more offensive means, concluding that maintaining the barrier around the Sith Spirit would eat into her focus and her stamina. Both would yield little gain in dealing with the malevolent spirit, beyond delaying the inevitable. If the Spirit was hell bent on attacking, then like any other mortal that would try to do so, it would be met with the same response.

Through narrowed eyes, the Sith Lord, refocused her control of the flow of Force energies that was cascading through her body, the anger within her swelling and fuelling the dark energies that she was bending to her will. The swirling torrents of the Darkside that flowed through her, started to resonate into her immediate surroundings - which like moths to a flame had drawn the attention of the other errant spirits that sought out and attacked the various acolytes and cultists, away from their current prey and down towards the chamber.

latest
Their ethereal forms phasing through the walls and doors of the sealed chamber, further infuriating the Sith lord to the point that the hatred now burned within her with white hot malice, combined with her desire to survive. Ceryx scowled at the spirits as they circled around her, dead or not, they would feel their wrath. The darkened chamber was soon filled with a flash of a bright light, as a bright blue hued torrent of fire erupted into life around where the Sith lord stood, the fire spreading outwards, engulfing and wrapping its way all over the ancient stone surfaces, consuming everything that stood in it's path.

For a moment, Tiamat thought she had the spirit's attention and even its interest, though she should have known better as she felt the Force shift. She would know it was agitated before its voice boomed and echoed through the chamber and throughout the tomb. It was accompanied by a rumble as she watched the spirit enter the statue that it cherished, if it wasn't for the sudden impending dread that fell on her shoulders, Tiamat would have been absolutely captivated by the Spirit's ability to reanimate objects for its benefit.

The young sith quickly backed away from the entrance of the treasured room, the spirits voice boomed again and as though on cue, the doors where she had entered opened once more. Tiamat quickly backed peddled, but there was something else she could feel and as she quickly took off toward her exit, she would be met by the other statues who under the command of the spirit looked to continue to guard the tomb.

The woman rotated her wrist, angling her blade to better defend herself from any attacks. She was certain if given the chance these statues would bludgeon her to death and that was not a chance she would allow them. The stone floor shook as one of the statues, nearly 12 feet high, came tumbling toward her, the Force enhanced her own movements, feeling her instincts react before she did as it raised its arms over head and came down with its oversized battle hammer into the floor. Stone shattered and sparks flew into the air as Tiamat narrowly dodged the impact as she rolled underneath its legs, her saber cut into the stone leg, but it seemed relatively unaffected. Another statue came to meet from behind as it swung its axe to take off her head, but Tiamat held speed over brute force, evading the blow as the axe came through the statue with the hammer.

Stone exploded and Tiamat kept her attention on the doors, she extinguished her blade, focusing on speed as she leaped over flying stone. She was nearly to the door when one of the statues picked up a broken column and hurled it at the girl. She caught it from the corner of her eye as it flew over head, hitting the tomb's walls over the door and showed her with stone as she reacted with the Force, best protecting her head and self with a shield that cracked under the weight of the stone. It would narrowly save her from becoming mush as she scrambled out of the doors and up the stairs to exit from the tomb.

All four spirits were pushed back or disrupted by the two Sith. That, mixed with Malicia's shout seemingly made them all vanish. She was half expecting them back, which was why she waited a handful of seconds before grunting and allowing her hands to fall to her sides.

"I think I have come to some sort of understanding with some of the spirits here," Malicia said. She couldn't say for certain because the spirit world was still new to her, and she wasn't even sure it was possible to completely understand it. But, she hadn't forced her way out of the chair, they'd let go of her.

Without another word, she moved towards another part of the throne room. A door waited for her and she stopped in front of it. "I can hear whispers from this room," she answered, tipping her head at it. Like before at the temple doors, Malicia raised her hand and placed it. Once again a shock went through her body, causing her to grunt, but the door opened after.

xjXCSNL.jpg

It's hissing made way to the sight of one the temples libraries. Obviously, this was a personal one as it was much smaller than a regular one. She wondered if it some tombs on the spirits here, or the history, or even something that Renfry once talked about before.

Malicia stopped in the middle of the library, turning to face Renfry. "That day where I lost control and you helped me regain it—I told you that I'd pay you back," she began. "Free access to this library while its connecting rooms not in use, and any knowledge across the space that I plan to dominate, will be it. " She hoped that Renfry saw it as a worth while payment. Making and delivering on deals, payments, with her brothers and sisters is how they managed to get along without trying to constant kill one another.

----------------- Outside the Tomb -----------------

The tombs doors closed behind the Sith woman. She'd still be able to hear soft whispers all around, but the one from the tomb was gone.

With all the Sith in the temple, only Malicia's cultists remained outside it. One of them looked over to the redhead that came out of the tomb, blinking a few times in confusion before looking over to the cultist beside him. "Is she suppose to be out there?"

Renfry watched Malicia with skepticism. Perhaps she'd reached a deal with the spirits, but Renfry knew how tricky they could be. But given there was no way to know for certain, she opted for cautious acceptance of the statement. One could never be too careful.

As the door opened to the next room, Renfry was immediately captivated. The library was precisely the type of place that Renfry could spend hours. And she intended to do just that.

She went through and began looking at what was here. Much of it had been cleaned out already, but one book in particular she found that spoke of the various tombs and temples across the twin worlds. Her eyebrow quirked slightly as she looked at it before hearing Malicia speak up.

She considered the statement for a moment. It was precisely the type of thing she had spoken of: knowledge for help.

Deal, she said after a moment more. And, oh, she would be using it without question.

The redhead sharply inhaled as she exited the tomb and back into the channel of the valley; she took another deep breath and started coughing, and quickly rubbed dirt and dust that had gotten into her hair from her escape. She pulled on the Force, settling her nerves, listening for the whisper from the tomb as she started back to the main temple, her only prize for interacting with a spirit was a bunch of rocks down the back of her collar and lodged in a way that left her uncomfortable.

She could only imagine what the others found in the main temple, her curiosity was more than satiated about Moraband and experience emphasized her lack of enthusiasm for ancient history, artifacts, and old things. She had no idea how Emryc was able to be so enthused about it all the time and scowl formed on her face as she tried to think of anything she liked about it, but the redhead found it irritating and just wanted to go back to her ship.

Tiamat continued to pat off the dirt and working out the rocks from underneath her clothing as she walked back to the temple stairs where she could feel the eyes of the cultists watching herself as she ascended. Some seem mildly amused or it was confusion as to who she was and why she was lagging behind the other group. She passed by the one who questioned about her presence and she gave a cheeky salute before spinning to face the valley and sitting down on the steps.

"Looks like its rather dull around here too, boys. Any of you have some cards to play?" she sighed.

The raging torrent of fire subsided, as the wailing of the spirits fell into silence. Lowering her hands and releasing the flow of the darkside energies that coursed through her, the Sith lord sighed slightly in annoyance as her attention return to the bound raider - whom had been reduced to a charred husk of flesh and bone. No doubt there would be raiders still present on this world, but they would soon be forcefully removed from the Sith's domain. Albeit it might take time, time that could of been reduced had she been able to extract the information she wanted without the Spirits deciding to exert themselves.

Summoning her journal back to her hand, Ceryx paced her way towards the entrance of the chamber, tucking the book back into the folds of her robes, before stretching out with the Force and with a swing of her hand drove the stone door back open. Her steps leaving a fading trail of charred carbon in her wake, picked up from the soot that had washed over the floor and surfaces of the chamber where the ancient settled dust had been reduced to ash.

Quietly, baring the sounds of her footsteps the Sith lord worked her way back the way up through the lower floors of the temple. Making her way towards the throne room chamber, stepping past the fallen bodies of the acolytes and hands of the Sith order who had fallen to the spirits' wrath, paying them little heed other than stepping around them. Eventually after several more flights of stairs and corridors the Sith Lord would arrive at the throng room, her eyes narrowing with intrigue at the chambers that had prior revealed themselves to Malicia and Renfry.

With Renfry's answer, Malicia allowed herself to smile. She moved around the room after. There really wasn't many tomes left, though she continued to gaze at the titles left. Dragging her fingers over some dust on one that caught her attention, Darth Cryx's figure moved at the side of Malicia's vision.

Malicia turned, then walk towards the Darth, stopping in front of her. "The temple pests have been wiped out, I assume," she said plainly. Darth Ceryx was skilled, and a simple task such as house cleaning was obviously far below the woman.

And Malicia had secured... some sort of understanding of the temples unique mechanics, along with a small, personal library. The power was obviously on, but she plucked her comm from her belt and relayed orders to some of her cultists to help her apprentice in any repairs on the turrets outside the temple, and the cameras inside it, then switched lines to confirm the other nearby compounds had been secured.

When she got the confirmation that they had been secured, Malicia spoke again, "Feel free to select an office in one of the nearby compounds and make yourself at home" before turning around and making her way back into the library. She placed her hand on the panel near the door as she entered, prompting it to hiss shut after her. Moraband was secured.

----------------- Outside the Temple -----------------

"Kraxel and Oopete always play cards," one of the cultist answered.

Kraxel perked up from behind a panel, a happy go-lucky guy considering he was a cult follower and fanatic. "The next game we're playing is to see who gets to stab Rick in the throat."
