[Silex Tan]

Silex fell silent as she felt the Force leave her. She gasped softly and jerked forward almost involuntarily, as if trying to hold it in. She stared at the Grandmaster and noticed the familiar pain of regret shadowing her features. Maybe this was what she had deserved, what she had earned for trying to be something she's not. When some memories of the Jedi slipped away, she turned to her padawan and regret washed upon her anew. She turned away, and followed the Justiciar to their temporary ship. She stayed silent and became numb to her environments. When the Justiciar spoke his final words, she finally moved her head and stared at him with a blank expression. "The Force has never been with me, I only really feel it now," she said softly, before walking up the ramp into the ship.

[Jade Hart]

As the force left Jade she nearly collapsed onto the floor. Her body trembling, she had to be pulled up by the guards and led with hands-under-arms to the ship taking her into exile. She couldn't see, she couldn't breathe, she couldn't think. As her body was heaved up to the ship, she regained control of her faculties, leaning against a wall of the ship. Her neck was twisting and kicking like a coiled nest of snakes underneath her scarf. She hunched over. As Silex passed by she stumbled forward and vomited all over her master.

Silex didn't react when her padawan threw up all over her. She just bent down, scooped the girl into her arms, and carried her further into the ship. She set her down on a stiff white mattress set into the metal wall. The ramp in the background lifted noisily, and the ship rumbled as it took off. She tended to Jade as the girl's seizures died down, and then she sat by her side until she fell asleep, dried vomit caked on her once-beautiful Jedi robes.
