Excellent sounding. Everything other than CAIN and the Shadow Walkers make for pretty boring missions, IMO.

Still I think even those should be somewhat changed. The Shadow Walkers never really got to see much light, thou the idea was great, I think CAIN was mostly fine, but depending on what else is brought in it might need to be reworked at least slightly to fit the new theme of the Chiss :P

Indeed. We can work things out when we've determined who will be in what position. If you guys are okay with me leading the Chiss, I'll do it. Who would be interested in serving as second-in-command?

I figured that that position would suit you since you have the highest ranking Chiss.

Well duh...they're Shadow Walkers, of course they didn't get to see the light.:CHappy

It should go without saying: but as a gentle reminder as I know people are excited ( which is a good thing!) but before anyone can get carried away, do remember that the Chiss are an indi faction now- the fact they were a main faction before is irreverent as it stands so they will be working in the range of an indie faction, whatever you do to build the faction will need to follow the indie faction rules and be approved by Lavi. dont expect to see CAIN and such be working at the full force they were pre skip etc. Glad to see the ball rolling! Just be mindful however going forward.

To be more specific on Adena's point: the Chiss Ascendancy as an indie will be treated the same way as the Mandalorian clans were (that is, the former main faction standing will not influence the assets that the faction will have at approval day), so keep that in mind when preparing the write-ups.

I agree you should be 1st in command, as for second I'd like to do it, but it'd probably be best if we held a vote, as I think others would be just as interested :P

I think that the whole crisis and defeat thing would account to that as well, we can't just pop back full strength as if nothing happened anyway, so that will serve as a further power control in our case and that's why we need to rework most if not all of the write-ups :P Also thanks for the attention ^_^

We'll give you guys until the end of Friday to copy/paste any write ups you want. After that, we're going to archive the board.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll make copies of everything just in case and then when we meet up in skype, or in our continued discussion here, we can figure out what we will use and so on :P

Suggestion: How about we focus on CAIN instead of the entire Ascendancy/Remnant? As an Indie, we can't have that much power over such large area (even if the Chiss territory did shrink a lot, it is huge, in retrospect to other Indie factions). Through CAIN, we focus on a good portion of the Chiss Remnant without having ourselves too thinly stretched and allows for a more condensed area than a broad area like we've tried (and failed) in the past.

That sounds pretty good actually, it will certainly make things a lot easier. As for the Shadow Walkers they could be a division within CAIN, but that again might divide us too much, tho we should have some, even if a little, division and diversity. I guess this would be better discussed broadly... it might just be best to rework CAIN almost completely if we're going for a more concise faction.

So obviously we ended up giving you a lot longer, since I forgot about this. Have you copy/pasted the write ups you need? If so, I'm going to archive this, any you can continue any OOC discussion you need to hold in the indie faction discussion board.
