K2-39 activated. Initiating startup process 10….50…...100 all systems normal.

K2 had just woken up and walked out of his station on the light cruiser. Good morning k2-39 the day is currently zzzt- and the year is zzzztttttt the intercom yelled. K2 looked around. All the other droids were gone. Not a single one. Where is everyone? K2 asked himself. K2 noticed a blaster on the floor and picked it up. He put it on his back and walked to the bridge. Strange… where did everyone go? K2 thought to himself. K2 was a smart droid but he was dumbfounded by this. He reached the bridge and the lights turned on. As he walked to the viewport he saw what had happened. Outside the ship was torn in two with skeletons of officers and troopers still floating. Even worse, he was in an asteroid field. To be specific it was over geonosis i've got a bad feeling in my wires. He went to the still working long range comms and sent a distress signal. This is K2-39 im in the rings around geonosis. I need help! I repeat I need help!

no response. he tried again. nothing. is nobody listening? k2 decided to wait instead of jumping to conclusions.

after awhile k2 knew nobody was tuned in. he was unpleased. i know! ill try again this time with a longer range and a repeating message. he ran to the long range comm and boosted its power. this is K2-39 im in need of help! my light cruiser is severally damaged above geonosis! this message will now repeat. that transmission had the power to reach
Coruscant. now he knew someone would tune in. eventually

k2 then noticed the lights turned off then the artificial gravity. the ships power was gone.

hours had passed. probably days. no response no power. to conserve his little power left k2 entered low power mode. there he lied in wait.

all hope seemed lost for k2 for could not narrate anymore. this truly was the worst thing to ever happen to a droid

k2 re awoke and decided it was time to rescue himself. he knew the ship like the back of his hand and knew that the hanger bay has tie fighters and maby a shuttle. k2 rushed to the hanger with haste. when he reached it there was only a TIE. nothing more. i can make this work k2 said to himself. as he got to work

after some work k2 found a old hyperdrive. i should install this in the TIE. he said.

as K2-39 finally finished his hard work of restoring and adding to the tie. he stepped back and admired his work. an imperial classic TIE with a hyper drive. it was beautiful.
