Raxus Prime...Deep in Sith Space

She had recklessly maneuvered her ship right into the atmosphere of Raxus Prime without reconsidering the choice she had made. She needed to get his attention, and this would clearly be a way to do it. A few golden flecks mingled in the blue ocean of her eyes as they flicked towards the Imperial Officer that had 'arrested' her. Well, to be fair, he hadn't arrested her, but he had insisted on her waiting here until the authorities arrived and she was utterly fine with that, because she had hoped he would show up.

It had been a little foolish and stubborn enough of her to fly towards Raxus anyway, so she was glad they had allowed her to land at the spaceport at all, but now she was definitely curious about how this would play out. They had allowed her to land, but the welcoming committee had been rather startled as she had identified herself and well, she couldn't have even blamed them.

Was it desperation that had driven her here? No...she had actually been driven by a fierce determination. She was not afraid, but her thoughts were still racing. This could end in so many ways and even if she wasn't afraid, she was definitely not sure what he would say...or even do to her. She took a deep breath as she let her gaze wander across the room. The tension inside it was definitely high, and he hadn't even appeared.

Her gaze met the Officers again and she immediately realized that he was even more confused about what she was wearing. Well, instead of having arrived in her senator attire, she had chosen her Sith uniform, because she was considering it as definitely more appropriate for the occasion, even if she didn't even know how to describe the occasion.

What she did know though, was that she had no doubts. She had left the hospital where President Thorne had taken her a few days ago and hadn't spoken to anyone but her aides at home. Just like expected, the darkness hadn't left - no quite the contrary, it had even spread, and she was starting to feel a little antsy even. There was something inside her, something far more powerful than ever and it was driving her. In fact, it had even driven her here. When she had set the coordinates to Sith space, she hadn't even chosen a planet. She had almost followed like...a calling.

Her heart was beating so loud that she could even hear it. Her breathing was somewhat flat and the tension continued rising. Not just in the air, but also in her muscles and so she had pushed herself back to her feet and started pacing. This had in fact made the Imperial Officer nervous, but she didn't even care. He watched her with a hint of mistrust, but curiosity still seemed to dominate his mind and this was already enough to tempt her.

Without a warning, she stopped were she was in dove right in, mercilessly weaving her way through the structures without even having him notice. It was a quick intrusion, yet when she pulled back there was a slight smile on her lips. So he was indeed not only confused, but also highly intrigued. In fact, he was expecting him to land soon, and he wanted to know exactly what she was up to. But no. She hadn't stated her request. It was not like this was something to be verbalized just like that anyway.

Celeste wouldn’t have to wait long before she heard commotion around her. Officers were scrambling in different directions to get into position and be at their very best. Fear crept down the spine of the Imperial officer near her. All the chatter around her came to an abrupt halt. There was a sudden chill in the room and the officer next to her visibly shuddered, looking unsettled. Despite being on the same side, he always had a powerful impact on everyone around him. Nobody ever got used to it and everyone did their best to always stay under the radar and avoid his attention.

The doors hissed open and Celeste would see the tall figure from her visions. It was the same armor that was dreaded across the galaxy, the helmet that struck fear into even the hardiest men. The Imperial officer saluted him at once and began to explain the situation. Before he could get a word out, the Force coiled around him and he casually skidded across the floor and out of the room. The doors closed behind him, leaving only the two of them remaining.

His presence was chilling to the point of being oppressive, especially for someone like her that fought so hard against the Dark Side for so long. He loomed above her hauntingly, the red visor of his helmet piercing into her eyes as if he saw right through her. The Dark Lord of the Sith took a moment to survey her in silence.

She would feel a chill running down her spine when he spoke. It felt as if ice traced down every single vertebra all the way down her back. That chill would pump through her veins and throughout her entire body. There was no running away when she was in his presence. No second guessing. No debates. She had made her choices, and they brought her here.

“We meet again,” The modulated voice resounded curtly.

After her short invasion she pulled out again and started to pace back and forth while the Officer was watching her attentively. She paid no intention and also didn't say a single thing as pissing off the Imperial soldiers wouldn't exactly please him. A few minutes later, however, something in the atmosphere changed and she immediately stopped where she was. She involuntarily held her breath as this impenetrable darkness already started to creep in.

Her gaze instantaneously flicked towards the door and as it opened, it revealed his tall, impressive silhouette who immediately hurled the Officer out of the room, leaving them completely alone. In her gaze still lay curiosity, but the determination was slowly fading and was replaced with a deep level of respect, before the fear set in. It was not complete terror, as there was still a part of her that actually wanted that. Was that suicidal? Partly, yes...but she was hoping for more. This wasn't about death, this was about just getting started.

At first, she didn't even move at all. It was as if the blood had started to freeze in her veins as he approached loomingly. A shiver ran down her spine, so deep she had never felt anything close ever before. As soon as she managed to break out of her sudden paralysis, she respectfully inclined her head in a truly submissive gesture which was extraordinarily unusual for her.

There was no turning back now, wasn't it? Funnily enough, there was not even a single doubt inside her though. She had distanced herself from everything that had been before and throughout the last several days, she had constantly found herself reflected on that choice. That fatal turn of events had completely changed everything and her chance to escape this situation had been destroyed the moment she had entered this very room. So that was it.

The silence that had swept into this room felt completely oppressive and there was a part inside her that truly wanted to panic. The other parts, however, managed to keep her composure and so she still stood at last, fighting hard not to take a step back. His presence was truly overwhelming and even though she couldn't spot any eyes through the helmet, it felt like his haunting gaze was piercing right through her.

She had raised her head a bit, swallowing hard for a second before she finally managed to open her mouth. In this very moment, she felt completely vulnerable again, like prey that anxiously stared into the eyes of the predator that could possible just snap her neck by blinking. Her heart was pounding in her chest while her muscles were tensed up to the very edge. She had followed that calling and now she had actually found him. This time he was not just in her mind, but in this very room. "My lord..." she began. She had said it. She couldn't quite grasp it herself, but well, he had been her lord before and also, there was no other way to adress him, but she did contemplate whether she expected her to fall to her knees or anything.

She fought to suppress a possible shuddering, but the dread that crept down her spine made it harder not to shiver. His presence was admittedly dreadful and it was different than back then on Serenno. This time it was truly just the two of them. "I felt this calling...back the hospital, I've felt that presence before and I...had to follow it" she admitted truthfully. No matter how oppressive that aura, it was intriguing for her nonetheless. She wondered what he had seen inside her mind and what he was expecting from this meeting but well...neither did she. Or at least not exactly. She had made a choice, but what would he do to her?

Raze was silent as she spoke, his arms crossing over his chest as he studied her. She barely got halfway through explaining herself before she would be lifted up into the air with the Force and slammed into the wall behind her. She was suspended several inches off the ground, the Force pressing into her entire body. While it didn’t cause pain, it was a pressure that would keep her there without the ability to resist. The Dark Lord slowly tilted his head up to gaze at her.

“And what?” The chilling voice stated flatly, “You thought you would find me and be welcome with open arms?” She would feel the Force beginning to contract even tighter around her entire body, the sensation of slowly being crushed taking over her, “After you turned your back on the Sith so easily?”

He took a few steps closer, glancing up at her. Her head was almost close to the ceiling from where she was pinned, “After you thought you could put away the darkness inside you into a little box and pretend it didn’t exist. After you thought you could tell the galaxy it didn’t exist.”

Without warning, he slammed her down to the ground, forcing her down to her hands and knees on the ground. He gazed down at her as if she were nothing more than an insect, “The sickness of the Light spilled from you as you bled out that wretch. Good riddance,” Raze said without emotion.

“You are not worthy of that uniform,” He stated as he finally released the Force hold he had on her, “Remove it.”

She literally expecting him to treat her harshly, but as he already reached out and lifted her up and slammed her against the wall behind her, she gasped in sudden shock. No...this hadn't been unexpected, but it was frightening nonetheless. He could, if he wanted to, end her life in the next second and there would have been nothing she could have done to stop it from happening.

Pinned against the wall with the Force she was forced to glance down at him. There was not a single muscle she could still move and she was helplessly exposed. She was literally his to command and whatever he would choose to do, there was nothing she could still do to interfere. She swallow again, the compression growing tighter and tighter. His invisible tendrils contracted and she wondered whether she would ever manage to get out a reply. He had interrupted her the first time, and he would probably do it again anyway. "Of course I didn't expect that". No, she wasn't stupid, and she had already assumed he would be ruthless, like always. She wasn't even sure whether she would make it out alive. "Leaving...wasn't easy. And it has torn me apart" she truthfully added, attempting to keep her voice as firm as possible.

The pressure intensified and it felt like he attempted to crush her right here, right now. The adrenaline shot in her veins even though she knew it wouldn't help her at all. Still...she wanted to adress his questions, even if she was quite sure he wouldn't even vakue her opinion. The way he approached her just made that feeling of dread intensify, but she could still somehow hold back the sheer panic by focusing on the darkness. While it was immensely oppressive, it was still powerful and that power was almost enticing."I was wrong. Completely wrong. And I paid for that...". She wanted to go on, but she was also slammed to a ground and now the wave of pain washed over her.

Wincing, she now glanced up at him while he still hold her in place, but this time on all fours on the ground like she was a worthless animal. Of course he was not only humiliating her, but he was also punishing her for the treason she had committed by having tried to deny the darkness within her. As he suddenly mentioned her unfortunate loss, it was like he had slammed a fist right in her face, because even though the darkness had distracted her for a few days, she had absolutely not gotten over that. This inner fright was immediately mingled with the rage that was flaring up. She knew it was wrong and she couldn't direct it against him like this, especially because he was doing that all on purpose, but ever since the accident her emotions had gotten out of hand.

Down on the ground, she was not only vulnerable but already decremented, especially because he had shot the thing about her loss right in her face, mercilessly reminding her of what had been and thereby stirring up another thing she had tried to suppress. She didn't said anything now, but then he suddenly felt that grip loosening, and while she tilted her head a little, gaze briefly and subconsciously flicking towards the door, he said another terrible thing that made the pit of her stomach seemingly turn around while yet another shiver ran down her spine.

Normally, she would have asked whether he was being serious, but with him, there was no doubt. She knew exactly she had absolutely no choice and so she closed her eyes as she swallowed hard again. Now shuddering, she pushed herself to her feet, gaze not leaving his while she knew if she wouldn't do it herself, he would probably do that. With that last remnants of dignity, her hand hesitantly reached up to the top of her uniform and she reluctantly started yanking it off. This was not just him wanting her to remove the uniform because she 'didn't deserve it', but it was just another means to tear her into pieces. If she hadn't been so furious on the inside, oh perhaps tears would have even started to run down her cheeks while he was stripping her of her dignity, but she just held eye contact while she dropped the first layer, literally leaving her even more vulnerable to his influence. After having removed the first part, she went for the tight pants and it felt so indescribably bad to peel them down while being stared down by the Dark Lord of the Sith...Perhaps that was what she deserved after all. By now, she was slightly shaking but only because she dreaded what would come next.

Raze watched as she stripped down, not giving her the luxury of any kind of privacy. Every second was agonizing and she would feel his eyes on her as if she were on display at a meat market. After she was done there was a moment of silence as the visor remained on her. She would feel as if she was stripped far beyond her clothes and as if he could see into her thoughts and heart as well. Her uniform abruptly flew into his hand and he spun on his heel without a word. The Force coiled around her neck and the doors opened.

The Dark Lord stepped through the doors and yanked her by the neck to walk behind him as if she was cattle. She would step out before rows of Imperials that could see her marching behind the Dark Lord while stripped down to her undergarments. They would recognize who she was and she would hear the quiet whispers and feel the stares of everyone around her. Raze didn’t care. He calmly strode forth agonizingly slowly, the Force firmly coiled around her neck to make her walk behind him. If she resisted, she would drop to the floor and be physically dragged anyway.

He took the long route through the station, parading her before everyone to teach her what it meant to pose as a Sith when she wasn’t one. Raze took her through the bay and into the adjacent training temple. The acolytes and champions there stopped what they were doing to stare. The Dark Lord didn’t stop till he found an empty training room.

Without warning, she was physically thrown into it. The Dark Lord calmly eyed her, “You are no Senator here. You are no Sith. You are nothing,” He reminded her, “You will break and then you will reshape yourself with those broken fragments. You will discard everything else,” He both commanded her and promised it.

“Confess to me your weaknesses and all the ways you are pathetic, insect,” He told her. He had seen a lot of them inside her head, but he needed her to state them out loud. He needed her to hear herself saying it and admitting it.

As she had stepped out of the pants, the fabric soon landed on the bare while she now stood there undressed. He was eyeing her like a worthless piece of meat and that was exactly how she felt about herself in those moments while he asserted full dominance over her. There was nothing she could read from his masked gaze but she intentionally let his eyes lingered on her for longer and even if it hadn't been just seconds, they felt like an agonizing eternity.

As he started to move, so did she, but not willingly. She yanked her away right by the neck, a tight, invisible grip firmly wrapped around it while she stumbled forwards. She had no choice but to walk right behind him, but while she wondered where the hell he was taking her, her gaze immediately landed on the Imperials that waited behind the door. He started parading her through the halls and she felt nothing but deep disgust. She was treated like an animal of course those that recognized her, started to whisper. What she had experienced jn captivity in the warlords lair was nothing compared to that raw form of domination and there was literally nothing she could do about it. This must have been like how Null had felt after those traumatizing episodes...but this was even worse on so many levels because she was not a stranger on a foreign planet, but an ex-chamtion, then publicly known Senator that had now fallen into the clutches of the Dark Lord himself. While he forced her to follow she almost stoically kept her gaze fixed on his broad shoulders in order to distract her from the rest. She would not look them into the eyes while it felt like she was even more naked than she actually was right now. She would not give them the satisfaction, nor would she have managed to bear that anyway.

Perhaps she had deserved that walk of atonement. After all, she was still the one to blame for all that mess. One false step, one wrong decision, and the whole path changed. The old life crumbled and in pieces, same like those beliefs she had built up for so long. He would tear them all apart, painfully slow and one by one, torturing her with each and every memory that could potentially force her into wanting to hold on, and sooner or later, her old self would be completely shattered. After what felt like an endless eternity she was suddenly thrown into a room. She had noticed that he had not only led her through the halls, but also through the training temple on Raxus and while she hadn't even looked one single person into the eye, their gazes had felt like acid on her bare skin while she had desperately tried to keep it together. It was a good thing that she had been in a complete state of shock after all, because that had distracted her from those terrible impressions, but now that she had landed in an empty room, they were completely alone again and the facade crumbled.

She was breathing heavily right now, the panic threatening to take over, but instead of descending down that path, she again tried to hold on to that rage that was related to that. Now, tears were indeed streaming down her cheek but as she got back to her feet yet another time, she recklessly wiped them away and faced him with that slight, golden flecks in her fiery gaze. No...this was wrong. She cautioned herself not to do something stupid now and she was aware of the fact that she could not show a single hint of defiance directed against him. She was not weak, and this was something she would prove, but simultaneously she was clever enough to hold back. What he said sounded like a threat, obviously. But there was also a promise inside it. With all this pain, humiliation and pure domination he would reshape her, or help her do that herself. He would reshape that diamond that had been roughened because it had left the right trail. But now he demanded answers, and this was surely not easy.

The muscles in her legs were trembling as if they already knew that he wouldn't stop her. She was encompassed in an icy shell and her skin would be traced with goosebumps while her heart was still unrelentlessly racing. She inhaled, but even sucking in air was only possible with shuddering muscles. His words cut right through her like sharp glass and yes, right now she felt like she was truly nothing, but it was too late to change that. He was in full control of her body, of her mind and of everything she was. It was truly as if he possessed her right now and he would pull each and every string that controlled her. "I have...committed a few mistakes" she began, her voice more quiet than she had intended. As she continued, she put her remaining energy into keeping it firmer. "I have forgiven too often, I have given others too many chances, I have invested too many emotions into things that had actually not even deserved attention...and I have been soft . She paused for a moment, shaking her head not to lose control now. She had to keep her thoughts in orders and it felt like she was starting to spiral all over again.

The greatest mistake, however, has been that I have tried to deny the dark side. I have forced myself to believe that I had successfully suppressed it and stored it away. I was convinced it was no part of me anymore, but that was so wrong. Instead of embracing it, it grew inside me like a forgotten plant. I have wasted too much energy in trying to suffocate those remaining sparks and yes, I have also thought that by leaving the Empire I would be able to expand my influences and follow my ambitions...I have neglected by training and I had given up on my beliefs...on my teaching...I know I was always more capable when I followed my instincts and those included giving in to the dark" there were a hundred things she could have said, but with each and every word she lost, it felt like she was giving him yet another reason to kill her for the failure she had committed in his eyes. This was, however, not just a failure in his eyes, but her own eyes had been opened to her mistakes. How could she have even been so foolish to believe that neutrality would help her grow? Actually, there was no other answer. The darkness was exactly what had always given her what she needed. As passionate as she was, she was used to turning that passion into strength, but why had she stopped? Because she had thought that altruism or whatever that had been would help her. But no. Only power was power. That realization had set in way too late. In that cave with that abdominal creature she had been rendered useless, is this was just the same now. When he had paid her his moment in the absolute worst situation, he had shown her that all. The question was, however, whether he even believed whether she was still worthy to follow that path.

The Dark Lord listened to her speak, the cold helmet and visor always making it impossible to decipher what was going on in his mind. It was always a mystery what was hidden behind the helmet. Was it a deformed, ghastly face? Was it a twisted monster? How could it be anything else when Raze was so cruel? When he relished doing this to her and putting her failures on display for everyone to see?

After she was done speaking, he reached down a hand to grasp her by the hair, yanking her back up to her feet. The visor of his helmet leaned in closer so she could see her own tear-stained face reflected against the cold metal, “I didn’t ask you to tell me what I want to hear,” The modulated voice growled in her face, “I don’t want to hear you mewling about the Dark Side when you know nothing about it. When you have failed to command it.”

Goosebumps would line her entire body from the icy chill of his presence. Every moment would feel as if it was her last, as if he could snap her neck on a whim. He kept that grip on her hair as he stared at her, giving no regard to what pain or humiliation he caused her, “Tell me about how you were reduced to becoming the common whore of a Jedi,” As he spoke, those same vivid images would flash through her mind. All of the ones of Lukas getting angry at her for Ruusan, of his plans to lure her away from her ambitions, to keep her as no better than a prisoner on Endor, to effectively remove all her claws and fangs and leave her harmless. How when it came time to protecting her on Ruusan, he failed to show, “Tell me about how you serve no purpose other than to be the thing others leech from to save themselves,” She would see flashes of all the times Null desperately relied on her. How when it came time to protecting her, he instead almost killed her on Ruusan. How he served no purpose other than to stick to her like a parasite and drink from her to keep himself going while providing absolutely no value to her. She would see visions of Zactar Hakaa whining to her pathetically about how he couldn’t survive in the Empire. She would see Laeonas Tannaras confessing all the ways he was terrible and she would see herself comforting and consoling him while the entire exchange ultimately provided her nothing. She would see how often she was always someone others cried to because they believed her to be just as weak and pathetic as themselves. Because they thought they could commiserate with her since she would never have the spine to put them in their place, “You are nothing but a tool to be used and discarded later. It’s all you have ever been for anyone you deem close to you. You gave up your strengths and dignity long before today. That is all you are, insect.”

Even though her bare skin was definitely not the main reason for her shivering, no matter how cruel and ruthless this display of his sheer power was, there was something shockingly impressive and tremendously admirable about it. His oppressive presence made it impossible for her to stay too focused on keeping up her composure. What goal did it serve anyway? One way or another, he would find new ways to break her into pieces.

While she still stared up at him, she caught herself holding her breath in shock again. Every single muscle was so tense and even if she wasn't in his invisible grip right now, this looming, chilly, dark aura of danger made it impossible for her to move. Would he just hurl her away again like that Sithspawn in that cage? If he had wanted to, he could have just used her as a toy, satisfying nothing but his ruthless, sadistic tendencies. It was still in question whether he would see a purpose in preserving her life, but until know, she was at least still breathing. Would this change? She didn't know, but what she knew was how easily he could have ended that, perhaps even if she said the wrong thing.

As he suddenly grabbed her, she was yanked up and closer to him, so that she was now staring in the visor, being forced to be confronted with her own, pitiful image. Where was that strong woman that had almost singlehandedly forced rows of warlords and their thugs into submission? Where was the respected, dignified senator of Rattatak, the feisty blonde that usually bowed to no one? Well, she was gone. In this very moment she found herself utterly dominated by the Dark Lord who was in full control over what woukd happen to the remnants of the woman that had fallen into the bottomless abyss. "That was nothing but the truth. In the most darkest time, I have finally seen the truth again. I have denied myself my full potential for so long because I was misled by stupid beliefs". While it was entirely true that she had understood how wrong she had been, not everything had been a mistake.

When she had landed on Rattatak those years ago, the dark side had still been her ally, but after a few months she had started to crumble. It had been conscious decisions to actively suppress those parts, because she had stadted to believe that the full avoidance of conflict and violence had been the right way...but what about all those times she had ended in captivity or even worse because of that? Not just with the most defiant and remaining warlords back then, but also back on Arda, or Ord Radama, or Obroa-Skai? The list was long. While diplomacy was a helpful skill, he was right about one thing. She had gotten weak. He was in her mind anyway, so he would also notice that she had already confessed that to herself.

He spoke on and not only the goosebumps intensified, but it was that indescribable cold that utterly swallowed her. His words were like venom, starting to melt her from the inside while corroding the fibers of her mind and heart. A whore. Well, admittedly she had fallen for him...but it had all been so fast. Where had her self control been? Perhaps even her wit? How had the succumbed to her desires so strongly and how could she have been so stupid to believe that they could have ever worked out? Yes, he had attempted to suffocate her fire and the realization made her angry. Yet right here, that anger was surmounted by that terrible of being completely dominated. Now looking bad, had she even been more than a whore? "I have failed to see all that" she admitted, because yes, apparently her perception had been tarnished by her emotions.

More and more images came flowing in and even if she did realize that the visions of the future were not necessarily real, the Dark Lord knew exactly how to twist her memories. It all made sense and it was not just her defeated position that made her feel terrible. She had been blinded by so many and she had put everyone's needs above her own. This had not been what the Sith had taught her, she had someone glided into those ways of thinking. While she was furious with her self, those sinister seeds in her mind were starting to distort her own realities so vehemently that her rage was not just directed against herself. Ever now and then it flicked over to the people that had impacted her the most and she started to see why she could blame them, too.

She hadn't just lost her fire and her fierce drive...She had failed to realized that she had lost herself in the process. In an attempt to make the galaxy better, she had failed to focus on how she could have gotten better...stronger and much more powerful if she hadn't been led astray by her own foolish beliefs."My lord...you are right". She was defeated. She was left with nothing but that terrible realization that in this moment, she was indeed nothing. She stared against that visor, her tear filled eyes desperate, yet they did not lose their glow. Inside her, their was still this unbroken passion, but her ambitions had changed. What had driven her before had been crushed and now she was at the beginning of a new path. "I have become a thing I despise myself. I have lost my true self and I was even to blind to realize that until you've shown me what terrible thing I had done. My deepest core values had been rattled, but the fatality of the incident of my...loss has reopened my eyes. There is nothing but the dark". It pained her to express those powerful, grim words, but they were true.

The moment he had invaded her mind had been the moment in which he had opened that box, as he had put it, again. All that had been suppressed had re-emerged, which was not only visible in those golden glints in her eyes, but he would notice that even though her voice was barely more than a whisper, what she confessed was honest. She was nothing but his humble servant right now, that inner rage directed at herself and countless others was being held at bay by this terrible feeling of defeat. She was still somehow standing, but halfway laid in his grip in her hairs while her undressed body seemed so frail in the tall, powerful man's grasp. With her old self shattered, she was nothing more than a shell of what remained, but still, she hadn't come here because she wanted him to end this. She wanted to rise from the ashes of the devastation instead and even if she had to atone for her terrible mistakes first, she would not give it. This had only just begun, and regardless of how terrified she was, the powerful enticement held her captive as well and she had willingly given in.

He heard her speak and he knew exactly what she was seeing. Countless images of being captured and treated like dirt. It happened to her time and time again, almost always in the pursuit of a greater good. A greater good that ultimately did nothing to empower her and only stripped away at her natural talents. The Dark Lord heard her speak, saw the tears in her eyes. However, through it all, she would hear a low, cold laugh.

“I see your thoughts, wretch,” The voice roiled powerfully, “I see your desires,” He said as his helmet leaned in very close to her face, “You run from how twisted you are. But you are that nonetheless,” She would once again see her own face in the reflection, the red hues drilling into her eyes and through her very soul. She could smell the earthy musk that lingered on him. And yet, he drew back after that, the chill abruptly withdrawing from her. Leaving her feeling suddenly far more aware of herself.

“Reflect on the ways you were weak,” Raze commanded her, “And burn onto your flesh a remnant of each transgression,” He said coldly. Such was the price towards atonement. Towards rebirth. He tossed Celeste’s lightsaber to her feet. He stood in silence, watching and waiting.

This post contains self mutilation

After the words had left her lips, her thoughts hadn't stopped. She hadn't expressed each and every thing on her mind, but of course there was no way her thoughts were safe from him. While she was already as good as naked, her mind lay open as well. No walls would ever hold him off and there was no point in wasting any energy for trying to contain what she considered. That cold laugh let another wave of shivers ran through her body and she had an assumption about what he was referring too. The thought made her sick, but she was already loathing herself for even having those thoughts anyway. Why wasn't she even fully frightened and deterred? Why did she even saw this allure in that situation? Still as if frozen, she didn't move a single muscle as his powerful voice washed over her like a deep rumble again.

As he came closer she basically still stared at herself in the reflection of his visor. Oh what had she become and why hadn't she been so much more, like she could have? This self-hatred for each and every mistake she had committed still ran deep and she could have drawn power from it, however she was not doing such a thing now. Not until he would release her. The ice cold tension in this room was still utterly oppressive, but as he leaned in closer, something inside her changed again. A silent gasp escaped her as she stared at him with half parted lips, pupils dilated and the two of them could both hear her fast heartbeat. No matter how grim and oppressive, she was also intoxicated by their interaction and as he suddenly released her, it was not just the chill that left, but she suddenly found herself craving for the tight grip he had just released, which was interesting, yet extremely confusing. As if befuddled she motionless stood there for a second before she finally exhaled.

She allowed herself to straighten her back as she swallowed hard, his insistent scent still lingering on her like an invisible veil. As he ordered her to reflect on her weaknesses, she knew what she would do, but as he suddenly added what else she had to do she froze up for a second again. Her lightsaber was tossed to her feet and she immediately reached out to summon the hilt in her right hand. Her gaze quickly flicked downwards onto her light skin which was, after all the fights she had been involved with in her entire life definitely marked by a few scars, but she had still considered it rather flawless as those scars were not usually visible under normal clothes.

She directed her gaze back at him and while she dreaded what was about to come next, there was also determination in her gaze. She had made her decision. She knew she had to expiate for her transgressions and she had been aware of the fact that he would even find watching her do so satisfying. Again, she swallowed the lumb in her throat as she pushed the button and her crimson bladed lightsaber soared into existence. She had commited serious mistakes and now she had to pay...it was only fair.

She closed her eyes for a second before she did as he commanded. Again, she went through each and every thought in her mind. There had been many little transgressions, but instead she went for something more severe. The question of where to leave those marks lingered in her mind for second, but in the end, without thinking twice, she pressed the soaring lightsaber against the skin of her loin area by brining the blade behind her on the left. As the flesh burned away with a brutal sizzle she immediately fell forward and onto her knees, a pain-stricken cry escaping her.

Her free left hand immediately clenched into a fist as she broke contact between the skin and the blade, her whole body shurring in pain. She had resolutely done what he had asked, but she had at least been careful enough not to let the blade reach her bones and tendons under the tissue. She released her grip around the lightsabers hilt as that immense pain washer over her. While she had damaged a rather long area across her left loin, the pain radiated into each and every corner of her body. Squirming on the ground for a moment she struggled not to give in and black out, but her uncle's voice echoed through her head. 'Turn the pain into power. Let it fuel you'. He had been right. Immense pain could also be a source of strength and with that last remaining will power she started drawing from it.

She looked up and realized how he was watching her and she even imagined that behind the helmet, he was probably smiling. She also knew that he wouldn't be pleased with just this one burn and so she reached out again, however this time she took the hilt in her left hand before she recklessly guided the blade towards her right loin, doing the exact same thing. One severe burn for having defected in the first place, one severe burn for having denied the darkness for so long. Her whole backside was burning and her painful cries echoed through the room. Her nervous system went craze and while a vasovagal syncope had been likely to make her faint, she still held on. This time, she wouldn't let the pain consume her. She would try to consume it instead. Regardless of how heavily her body tried to fight it, she would continue trying to redirect that pain. What felt like an eternity was probably not more than a few seconds, but the Dark Lord could clearly see his subordinate suffer immensely. 'The price you have to pay for the rebirth', she told herself again, repeating it like a mantra. She was in a weird state of semi-consciousness, as if caught in a dark intoxicated state of frenzy.

Raze heard the sizzle of the saber against skin and he could imagine the stench that would rise in the air. If there was any reaction to watching her do this at all, it didn’t manifest whatsoever. He stood silently, towering above her and always poised as a cold statue. He was unfazed by the pain she felt, the way she squirmed with each burn, the way her emotions roiled and twisted within her. She would carry those burns forever, especially as she made severe ones. They would all be a reminder of her insolence and her mistakes. They would agonize her the next time she came across a pathetic being that wanted to leech off her. They would sting badly the next time she made choices to put herself in harm’s way to serve the greater good.

He stared at her, taking in sight of her branded and weakened form. The Dark Lord surveyed the handiwork for a moment before he spoke, “Feel proud of yourself?” He asked with hints of amusement in his tone, “Because you’re being a good little girl for me? The man that has burned worlds and wouldn't hesitate to kill any man, woman or child that crossed him? Do you feel good about yourself?” There was a low, hollow laugh again. It would send a chill down her spine and remind her of just how pathetic she appeared. How she was at her lowest. How she wanted that validation from him. Had she always craved it? Had she always felt the guilt for turning her back on the Dark Side and now desperately sought to repent? Raze watched her for a few moments.

“Reflect on your thoughts when you have no one but yourself to judge you,” He stated, “Meditate on them. Each time you give into weakness, add a burn,” Raze turned on his heel and began to leave the room, “If you are unable to continue or face what you are becoming, put that saber through your heart,” He commanded, “Otherwise, when you are finished, you have two choices: To find me again,” Raze paused before he continued, “Or return to alliance space.”

He said nothing more as he strode from the room, abandoning her to her thoughts and her lightsaber.

Those burns wouldn't just grace the light, smooth skin while being a visual reminder, but they would definitely be a constant, painful reminder of what she had done to herself to pay tribute for what she had done wrong before. She stayed on the ground, the smell of utterly brunt flesh in the air which almost made her vomit, but this inner tension and the hatred prevented her from gagging. One good thing about the situation was that she had barely eating anything in days, and so if her stomach would still decide to empty itself, she wouldn't even lose much anymore. However, she was still struggling to remain conscious, even though it felt like that within his intimidating presence, fainting wasn't even a possible option.

While she now laid on the floor bottom first, her muscles uncontrollably twitching as her overstrained nerves ran crazy. Again, she gazed up to him, hoping dearly that he wouldn't make her continue because in her momentarily twisted mind, there was no more capacity for more pain. She fought hard to convert her and to try drawing from it, but her body had never dealt with that kind of pain before, especially because it was mingling with those confused, dark thoughts.

Shockingly enough, he even found a new way to degrade her. The color had faded from her face, but she involuntarily blushed. Well...what did she feel? Since when was she wanting to please him like a damn animal? She couldn't even deny it...His laugh and display of amusement was worse than him forcing her to punish herself and then he even added words that made it worse. She was speechless, not just because of the pain, but because her thoughts were racing. Through all this pain and hate, it was hard to place the other emotions. How could she even seek for validation from him? She couldn't grasp it, but while his laugh shocked her and sent yet another shiver down her spine, it felt like she had not only appeased, but pleased him for now. The first steps of penance had been done and apparently he was also done with her...for now.

She still couldn't exactly move nor say anything, but it felt like is words burned into the flash of her brain. They would echo through her mind for ages. After the pain had reached its climax, an odd numbness set in as her nervous system simply couldn't cope with all that stimulation anymore. With a rather absent stare she got back to her knees, her gaze devotedly following him. Back to Alliance Space? This...didn't even make sense. No. This was not the way. The ignited lightsaber still laid next to her, seemingly waiting for her to interact with it, but for now she finally managed to part her lips and gritted teeth. "It shall be done my Lord" she heard herself say as if controlled externally. He wasn't even in her mind anymore and his absent triggered this weird craving again. Pathetic. This was indeed pathetic. She was pathetic. And yet her gaze kept following him, utterly fixated on each and every move until he vanished through the door.

A few moments she just kept kneeling until she collapsed. Apparently, she had indeed fainting for a few minutes until she reagined consciousness. She blinked a few times and her mind immediately raced through the most recent events.

"The Force shall set me free"

She silently whispered under her breath, the pain clearly tainting her voice before she inhaled. She wanted her to meditate and reflect, and so she would. In this very room. She had no idea for how long, but there was no doubt she would begin. With his absence she was alone in her mind again, and while she felt somewhat safe, the visions that raced through it were wild. She was nothing. He was right about that and yet he was also the one that had made her feel anything again after some time. He had not only helped her realize that all the people she had cherished and held close had done absolutely nothing for her in return but to leech her.

He had given her a chance now. Not just that, he had helped her cope with her mistakes of the past through that self-inflicted pain and there was an odd, perhaps even perverted satisfaction in that indescribable stinging. Just like that her body was aching for this powerful grasp of his again. Even though he had fully dominated and humiliated her, she craved this looming dark presence that had intoxicated her. This very first, intense interaction had triggered a weird addiction in her mind that repeatedly made her thoughts drift back to the tall frame that had just slammed her against the wall and gripped her so tightly a couple of times. Those planted seeds inside her had infested and they were already starting to grow in that incinerated soil. The temptation had won and she was utterly enticed by the sheer allure. She would find him again.

When she sought him out once again, she was led by an Imperial. The man avoided looking at her, feeling nervous due to her state of attire. She was led through open halls again and past others that could see her and watch her as she walked. At the end of her little journey, a set of double doors opened to reveal what appeared to be a large lounge.

“My Lord,” The Imperial bowed his head before turning to leave.

The room was large and spacious, accented with ornate statues and luxurious decor. At the opposite end there was a long couch with pillows and throws decorating it. Raze was comfortably lounging on it, his large frame leaned casually to one side with an arm resting over a pillow. The top layer of his armor was removed, leaving him in armorweave that accented his very defined build. As usual, his face was obscured from sight. He held in his hand a pipe that connected to a hose attached to a very tall hookah. The mask allowed a small opening through which he drew deeply from the hookah before blowing out a thick cloud of shisha smoke.

Raze didn’t originally react when Celeste stepped into the room and the doors had closed behind her. She would feel oddly out of place here, standing in the same old garments, her hair messy and within what looked like palace quarters. Raze calmly watched her as he drew again from the hookah, eyeing her as if she was the daily weather report on Holonet.

The Dark Lord blew out a few smoke rings before finally addressing her, “So you’ve returned,” His slightly distorted baritone voice drawled, “What did you learn about yourself while you were in there?” Raze pulled from the hookah again while waiting for an answer. It was difficult to tell whether he even cared enough to actually listen to what she had to say. His head was tilted slightly to the side, his posture relaxed and entirely unbothered by what he had put her through thus far.

And there she sat for a while. Thinking about her failures, her transgressions, but also about how she could change this. How this was her chance to start anew and to make it right this time. She may have been broken and defeated, but it had been what she had deserved. This was her path of redemption, even if she had to harm herself for that purpose first. The broken pieces had to be put together, and she had just begun.

She had taken her time to mediate and reflect, but it had taken a while until she had managed to break through that emotional state of pure chaos. Focusing wasn't to hard, but her mind kept jumping back to him because even if his powerful presence had left this room, the darkness hadn't, and neither had his musky scent that constantly brought her back to the scene from before. The intoxication had its repercussions and the after-effects would linger on the back of her mind.

In this weird state of semi-consciousness during her meditation she was constantly reminded of that immense pain radiating from her loins. Every now and then an agonized hiss escaped her whenever she shifted to hard, but the injury also reminded her of why she was here. Her slender frame sat in the middle of the room, her silhouette illuminated by the faint crimson glow of the lightsaber that still laid in front of her, ignited until she finally deactivated it before directing her attention back to her meditation. After a while she felt like she had managed to bring her thoughts into order and so she slowly pushed herself back to her feet.

She didn't leave the room yet, as she expected that this common training room would at least store a med kit, and so she sought it out. It took her a while, but in one of the cabinets in the back she found both, clothes and a basic kit, however after contemplating for a second, she did not reach for either of it. She would not displease him by dressing herself in any Imperial attire just yet and she wouldn't befuddle herself with pain meds. She also wouldn't reach for any bacta pads as he had wanted her to not only feel her failure, but to be marked by it.

Before leaving the room she took a deep breath to regain her composure. It was not like she wouldn't lose it again the moment she would find herself in front of his tall frame again, but she wouldn't let the Imperials see her like that. With as much dignity as still possible, she confidently stepped out, the deactivated lightsaber in her hand and she eyed the first Imperial she saw, stating her demand. He was obviously startled by her appearance and she saw him struggle with even talking to her, but he led her towards him in the end and that was all she wanted. The glances of the others burnt on her skin, as if their stares would leave even more marks on her body, but she just tried to focus on the walk and on the Imperial's internal unrest instead.

Even though the walk wasn't too long, it had felt like another eternity, with each and every step paining her. However, she kept it together as best as she could in order not to falter, and instead of letting the agony control her, she still tried to draw strength from it. When she was led into the room she stopped at the door for a split second, taking in another breath before she approached him. Just like that, she felt like she was nothing again and this time it was not only his presence, but his whole setup that completely overwhelmed her. From one second to the next, a new shiver ran down her spine and her heart was racing while her blood felt frozen again.

The way he sat there was...oddly peaceful and bizarre just because of that. Itnwas clearly a sight that could have been rather calming, but it unsettled her even stronger this time, especially because it felt like her body was acting without the consent of her mind again. She kept a respectful distance but had walked up to him nonetheless, her gaze respectfully lowered and this inner nervousity spreading as he adressed her. Were those his private quarters here on Raxus? There lay an odd beauty and ordinariness in this room and yet it was ominous. "I learned again that I was so wrong. All those people have done nothing for me...and yet I have been weak enough to protect them...soft enough to waste so much energy into building them up. I have given them strength while I lost my own power and finally myself. I do want that back. I can feel it grow inside me now that I have allowed it to happen. I can feel this burning desire to feed it...". While she was being honest, she trailed off once she had glanced up again. Desire. Passion. Yes, it had all been awoken. It felt right, yet she couldn't deny that she still felt terrible for her craving. Not for her craving for that power, but for him and...this. It was as if she needed him to feel like something again..an odd fixation had been triggered. She hadn't sought anyone's presence but his ever since the hospital and wanting that....wanting him to continue felt dreadful nonetheless.

Raze lazily puffed on the hookah, calmly staring at Celeste as she presented herself. She barely finished talking when he lifted a hand to gesture a spinning motion with his finger. This was a silent way of ordering her to turn in a circle to let him see her burns from all angles. Once she did so, he was pleased she didn’t attempt to heal the injuries. The Dark Lord didn’t respond to her for a long moment, making her stand while he continued to smoke from the hookah. At some point, he lost interest and brought out a comlink to flip through it. Raze blew out another cloud of hookah smoke as he spotted all the new information about the ceasefire being deemed over. It gave him instant license to kill Celeste right then and there and she didn’t even know it.

“Sit down,” He commanded without even looking up from the screen, “On the floor. I don’t want your filth on my cushions,” He added. After a few moments he finally put the comlink away.

Without warning, the Force coiled around her neck. She would see him hardly looking at her. She would feel herself grow lightheaded. She could fight it, but he would simply double down until her eyes rolled to the back of her head.

—

“Get up,” Raze’s voice called out sternly.

When Celeste blinked awake, she would find herself in the crew quarters of a transport shuttle. There was a pile of raggedy civilian clothing folded for her. There was no sign of any trauma on her outside of what she had inflicted on herself. The Dark Lord stood at the doorway briefly before he turned and left, giving her the signal to get moving immediately.

Once she stepped out, she would realize she was on a forest planet. The Dark Lord walked before her, expecting her to fall into step behind him. As she walked, she would rapidly begin to recognize the planet as Endor, the path leading towards where Lukas lived.

“Keep up, wretch,” He commanded as he walked, “I believe you know where we are going.”

The nervousity grew and grew and spread further so that in the end, this internal unrest almost made her block out their unique surroundings. She watched him draw from his enormous hookah again while the scent of his cologne had already reached it. Like a drug, it alerted her brain, pushing it even further and making her thoughts spin again. She was still alive, still breathing and basically awaiting his next command. Her consciousness still laid bare in front of him, like her now injured body, but there was no invasion yet. The absence of him in her head felt strange...somewhat empty even, but she assumed he would penetrate her mind sooner or later again.

She understood his motion and so she obediently spun, letting him take in the pain she had inflicted on herself. While she was not facing him, the absurdity of this room hit her yet again, while at the same time it had an oddly alluring vibe. Once she had completed the turn, he immediately directed his attention onto the comlink, leaving her standing just like this. Her muscles were still tensed and she basically awaited something to happen, like that he would suddenly pull her close and pin her onto that large couch, but the pull never came. She watched him read and wondered what he was looking at until he raised his baritone voice again. The word 'filth' made her shudder again, yet she still couldn't deny it in her current state. She obeyed without question, but the moment her skin touched the cold ground another shiver was sent down her spine. Her eyes had still not left his muscular, almost undressed frame until the Force was suddenly coiled around her neck. Was that it? Had she done something wrong? Or was he just bored with his newest acquisition? Celeste instinctively reached up with her hands, but the grip wasn't growing any looser. Instead, she felt it tightening and tightening, until she blacked out after a few seconds.

______

She had no idea how long she had been out, but she was woken by his stern voice. She lifted her head in shock, confusedly realizing that she was still alive. Her heartbeat immediately began to accelerate while she stared at him bewildered. Oh...he wouldn't ask twice. She got up, the pain being an unpleasant reminder of how she was literally in the worst possible position. The dark lord started walking and she quickly glanced around. Clothes. A pile of folded clothes could only mean that now she was allowed to get dressed again. She quickly jumped into them, the loose fitting shirt letting her hiss in pain as the fabric touched the burnt skin. She began to head out as well, utterly clueless about what they were doing now, but she quickly tied a knot at the side of the shirt, so that her loins were exposed instead of constantly covered by the material.

Right before she stepped out of the shuttle, she could already recognize the familiar, green surroundings and the melody of the twittering birds made her stomach turn around. "No..." she silently whispered under her breath...this was impossible, wasn't it? She forced herself to keep on walking but each and every step was reluctant. She caught up with him, now realizing that there were no doubts left about where they were and what they were doing and the color immediately left her face as she stared at him in blank terror.

This had all happened way too quickly and apparently, he wanted to confront her with the very worst at first. With each and every step she took, that inner reluctance grew and the panic increased. This wasn't good at all. She shook her head in disbelief, but she knew she neither had a choice, nor was there anyway this wouldn't end fatally. She swallowed hard, knowing that she had to come up with something real fast. She couldn't be afraid, she couldn't freak out, she would have to focus on what he had said earlier. Lukas was no good. He had wanted to contain her, to suppress her even and to suffocate her fire. He had wanted her to change, because of him she had left the Sith and renounced the darkness and he hadn't even come to Ruusan to save her in the moment when she had almost lost her life. He was to blame for many things...this was still no reason to kill him, especially because her heart began to bleed when she thought of him. How it had all started back on Bunduki, the cabin, Rattatak. Her anger grew, but so did that internal pain and she had no idea about how this would end.

Raze could practically smell the panic from Celeste as they stepped out. It was exquisite and delicious. He thrived off pure, unadulterated fear. It was so different from willing submission and it confirmed she had many unresolved issues with this chapter in her life. He continued to walk, his sensitive ears picking up on her whispers to herself.

“Is that hesitation I smell?” He asked curtly as the Force coiled around her neck again. She was physically yanked from where she was, dragged to move ahead of him. He purposely stayed a few steps back, wanting front row seats to see this play out, “I thought you would be thrilled we are paying a visit to the love of your life,” The Dark Lord stated. He could see into her mind and the emotions she still felt for Lukas deep inside. The emotions she thought she erased so easily. She could have recited her weakness to Raze and herself a thousand times over, but none of it would compare to facing this situation in reality.

The familiar sight of Lukas’ cabin loomed ahead. If Celeste looked behind her, suddenly the Dark Lord was nowhere to be seen. The barking of a familiar hound resounded and Celeste would be filled with warm memories and feelings she associated with this place. After a few moments, a familiar face emerged. It was Lukas and he appeared more rugged than usual, unshaven and as if he hadn’t slept in some time.

“My love,”He said with concern clear in his eyes as he quickly ran over towards Celeste,“Are you all right?!” He said, “I’m so sorry… I’m so sorry for what I said,” The Jedi would tug her into his arms and hug her tightly into a familiar warm embrace. She would feel his emotions and love washing over her, “I panicked. I got scared. I was just so worried about you going to Ruusan. I… I let my emotions get the best of me,” He pulled back to look at her, “I want to fix this. Let me take care of you. Please.”

That was twisted. Even more twisted and more horrible then the way he had treated her before. She wasn't even sure what he wanted to achieve with this confrontation...would he want to watch her mind being fucked either when all those emotions were stirred up again? Was he just doing that to punish her after all? Did he want him dead? Or even both of them? She was utterly confused and had no idea what she would do and how the hell she should behave. The situation he put her in was the worst possible and that he now pushed her forward didn't make it any better.

At his question about her hesitation hit her she glanced up to him, opening her mouth without even knowing what to say, but she was already pushed in front of him and forced to continue walking that path. She heard his next word too, but there was no way she would have been able to reply to that, as her insides were just completely shaken. In those very moment, all emotions got stirred up and there was no way she could prepare herself for what was about to come.

She caught herself starting to hyperventilate as she tried to spy something between the trees, but as the cabin actually came into sight, she felt like she was about to faint. She wanted to stop right where she was and turn around and just run, but as he was still pushing her forward, there was no running. There was no way confrontation could be avoided, but it felt even worse that she wasn't even alone. The fucking dark lord himself was taking her to him, probably wanting to watch that spectacle and she also knew that he would draw from her pain. He wanted to watch her struggle, maybe even to fail, but in the end, he wanted her stronger, right? What would she do though? No matter how much he had hurt and mistreated her, she didn't want Raze to find him, but there was also no way to protect him. She felt completely lost.

Before she could bring anything in her head into order, she could already see Lukas and hear Loki bark, but suddenly, the pressure around her neck vanished. Startled, she glanced back and found out that Raze was gone. Her heart was unrelentlessly pounding in her chest and as she looked back tk Lukas, there was blank terror in her face. The memories of Endor and the pleasant time spent here, but there was too much going on in her head so that focusing on it was impossible.

She froze up where she was as Lukas approached her and affectionately wrapped his arms around her. His touch felt familiar and warm, yet there was not much warmth left in her heart right now. "Lukas. You have to leave. Now. Before it's too late-" she began, completely bewildered. The conflict inside her had begun to break loose and she was beginning to freak out now. He looked terrible...as if he hadn't gotten any sleep in ages and even though his words sounded genuine, she couldn't grasp what was happening right now. She pushed him away, immediately glancing back to spot the dark lord, but there was no one. She looked back up to him, her gaze still wild. "I-" she began, but she was struggling to find words.

On the one hard, his words touched her. She had pushed all emotions, all memories away, but they were coming back now. One the other hand though, Raze's words mercilessly echoed through her head. He had failed her, he had betrayed her and wait...he had even plotted this all, hadn't he? Her conflicted heart was torn, but Raze had opened her eyes with a lot of things. This situation was so screwed. How could he consider apologizing now, after all this mess?! He had not just made her soft and attempted to put a muzzle on her, but he was also a weakness that still remained.

She had to end this and everything that was between them...perhaps he would make it out of her alive, unless Raze wanted her to kill him which would be the worst case scenario. How could she ever consider putting a blade through his heart, through the heart of the man to whom he she had opened her heart after all? The pain and all that rage started to consume her, but the guilt was taking over too. By having come to Darth Raze, she had allowed him to intrude her mind and thereby allowed him to find Lukas here in the middle of nowhere. She felt terrible guilty for that, but all those dreadful emotions made it impossible for her to focus on the parts deep inside her that still clung to him. "There is no fixing. Not anymore". Only the dark side could fix her. Only Raze could...Her voice was icy, but expressing those words was agonizing. It tormented her, yet she knew this was the way. "Run..." she whispered insistently, hoping that he would follow her words. Her heart had been shattered after those painful realizations and so no matter how genuine his intentions, this was over. She stared at him and it felt like someone had already put a blade through her own heart.

Celeste would see him visibly react to her sternly saying there was no fixing it. Confusion flashed across his face, “I don’t understand..” He looked hurt, confused and lost, “What are you telling me to run from?” He stepped forward and closer to her, “And do you really thinking I’m running again? I can’t ever forgive myself after I wasn’t there for you on Ruusan,” He sighed and shook his head, “I’m not running again,” Lukas reached a hand for her, “If we run, let’s run together,” He nodded his head, “We’ll be together and face anything. We can start over.”

It was all real, every emotion, every touch and every sensation she felt from him. There was no sign of Raze anywhere, nor was his looming presence pressing down in her thoughts. There was nothing but the gentle sounds of birds and critters in the forests. This place was as peaceful as it had always been. It felt as if the entire chapter with Raze had been nothing but a bad dream. Celeste finally woke from it and it was just her and Lukas away from the galaxy and tucked away together.

“We are safe here, love,” Lukas reassured her, “Why don’t you come inside and get some rest? Loki will be thrilled to see you,” He smiled warmly at her, grasping her hand to lead her toward the cabin.
