Everything was a blur for the lost Shadow. Kyo barely had even begun to pull the blaster pistol from its holster before it was yanked away by the Sith. He tried to focus his concentration on the blaster, tried to keep it from slipping out of his fingers and flying away, but the impact against the tree had left him too dazed.

Kyo staggered against the tree. Pushed against it to steady himself until the Sith suddenly landed on the ground. Sensing the swell of the dark, Kyo desperately reached for the handle of the vibrodagger tucked at the left side of his hips, but he was barely able to throw it forward before the shocking blast of energy ripped into him.

The excruciating pain wracked his muscles, causing him to seize up and drop the dagger between the two of them. The rain chained with the torn essence of the Force, amplifying the electrical torture surging through and across the lost Shadow's body. He tried to hold back the scream, crying out through clenched teeth while trying to push away the twisted energy with his own mastery of Electrokinesis.

An overwhelming maelstrom cracked and sparked from his muscles to his brain. He'd been unable to mitigate most of the damage from the Sith's shocking burst, but something else occurred in his mind instead. The light traveled across the surface of his brain as he tried to dissipate the electrical current resulting from the reaction of the rain water. As it did so, the Void that rested on his neural net began to react to the surge of electrokinetic energy.

The dark powdery substance was shocked near his most activate brain activity, the section of memories nearest to the cluster that contained the image of the Kel'dor he'd seen earlier sparked to life as the Void there was ripped apart by the overwhelming charge of electricity. It didn't last long. The short burst of lightning dropped Kyo to his knees. His head and arms hung, not reacting to his urge to move and defend himself.

...Sol Kenuk...

That was the name he'd seen on the list of missing Jedi. The memory was still short and foggy, but the details of the one he fought now were clear enough to finally remember his name.

"Sol Kenuk... I looked for you..." He spoke weakly, his upper body barely still holding up after the combination of being dazed by the hard impact against the tree and getting shocked in the rain. He barely had the strength to begin lifting his chin enough to look up at the ex-Padawan through wet bangs. One of many he'd looked for over the cycles. One of many he could never find and help. "Is this really what you want to be...?"

Weak. He was weak. He couldn't withstand the current. Couldn't even find the strength to fight back. The blade he pulls drops helplessly to the wet ground, as the electricity illuminates the surrounding forest, crackles between rain droplets as a roar of thunder shatters the sky. Sol's eyes burn with a cruel intensity, a magma glow that seemed far more intense than before. Now, not only did he breathe ice into his vocals, but he could sense it crawling through his veins, a chill beneath his skin. It is not an entirely unwelcome sensation.

As the lightning dissipates, the Kel'dor stares upon the foolish exile with what could only be described as the face of a devil. The atmosphere whispers with the darkness that leaks from his spirit to taint the wind, a corruption that lashed against the Sith's innards until it spilled past his flaming vision.

I looked for you. Sol tilts his head to the side, but this was not an inquisitive gesture. Like a snake, he observes as the exile desperately tries to save himself, tries to reconnect with the former padawan that now looked upon him with such unbridled cruelty. Little did the exile know, that padawan was nowhere to be found. He was dead.

"You writhe like a worm in the mud." Chilling words like the hiss of a devious serpent. "See how you wallow, too weak to save yourself. Too weak to save those you care about." If Sol had to guess, he was not the only lost Jedi that this stranger had sought after, and now, this knowledge hung like a rotten fruit before the Kel'dor, something to be toyed with. "A lost little dog, tossed into the street by it's master. You might have looked for me, once. Who will look for you?" Closer, he steps, his gait slow and decisive, his expression that of a snake.

"Your order has abandoned you, and soon, so will the light. As you scream into the void and beg for death, I want you to remember one thing." Those claws are pointed at the exile once more. Electricity sparks between the talons as the Sith Lightning is once again directed upon the man. Sol has no intentions of killing him just yet. No, he would break him first, turn him into the very thing he had tried so hard to struggle against.

"You chose this."

Yes, this was exactly what Sol wanted to be.

Ragged breaths came from the Exile as he weakly panted and tried to catch his breath. A faint white spark jumped across Kyo's fingertips as he channeled the last of his energy into one last gambit. His eyes didn't leave the Sith as he spat his poison and infected the lost Shadow with his venomous tongue. Words that he tried to ignore, but sank deep. The Order, even the Grandmaster herself, had turned against him. But were they wrong to abandon him? He felt he deserved it.

But that didn't mean he was just about to let this Sith kill or capture him without giving it his all. He'd put the last of everything he had into one last stand, though he was still on his knees. The electrokinetic energy snapped across his fingers again as he rose his right hand right back up towards the Sith's extended claw.

A bright white glow of electrokineticly charged streaks flashed from the tip of his fingers as his Electrokinesis shot towards the Kel'dor and clashed with the Sith's Lightning. It was not enough. The Kel'dor's twisted lightning was halted for only a brief moment, before Kyo's stamina finally faded. He exerted the last of everything had, only to have his own burst of Electrokinesis overpowered.

The Sith Lightning collided with his rain-soaked body, and this time he didn't have anything left in him to try resisting the agonizing attack. His teeth clenched tight again, with another scream trying to escape. His chest heaved upward. His arms snapped to his sides and trembled violently along with the rest of his muscles for as long as the lightning was forced into him.

He was practically smoking by the time he collapsed in defeat. His upper body fell forward, crashing to the damp ground without any effort to catch himself this time. Fragmented memories raced through his mind. Blurs of a life he wished he could've remembered before his demise. Hazy faces of friends and family he still couldn't recognize played across his vanishing vision. They all faded to darkness a moment later, along with the last of his consciousness...

For a moment, what he sees is light. Feels it in his bones, crackling through the stormy air. Electricity that clashes with his own like nothing Sol had ever seen. Ultimately, though, the dark was resolute. Sol overpowers the man with the harsh bite of hatred fueling his attack. His body seizes, and agony flashes across his face. Then it was over. The exile had fallen into the mud, not lifeless, but still just the same. The lightning fades, nothing but remnants that surge across the man's body in a few final moments. Finally, there is silence once again. No harsh tongues, no clashing blades. Only the fury of the storm as rain poured from thunderous clouds.

Sol moves toward the exile to pull him off of the soaked ground, slinging him over one shoulder. The exile's mistake in denying the Kel'dor would be punished. An exile no longer. Kyo was a prisoner, now. For a moment, Sol thinks he'll report it, bring the poor fool to some prison to suffer. He feels a bit more personal with this one, though. Someone who shared a past, someone who knew his name. No, the other Sith would not get the satisfaction. Sol would break the exile himself.
