Appearance: lightly tanned skin, with short black hair and brown eyes. He as well is of a slender, average build in body size and proportion for his body being 6” and weighing 175 lbs. Having a scar on his right eye from a fight with his younger brother, as well as a tattoo of his mandalorian clans symbol on his right shoulder.
Attributes: Rakiss’s strengths mount up to being smart, level head and a tactical thinker in and out of combat. As well as being proficient in ranges combat with blasters, as well as a decent pilot. His physical capabilities are decent due to training to be able to hold his own close range, but can be over powered by people with above average strength of a human one on one close up. He may be skilled with blasters but lacks in blade work and melee combat, he knows just enough to defend himself to try and gain distance but can be easily out done Trying to actively engage in close combat. While being a tactical thinker this leaves him to get tunnel vision on the battle field and maybe not be able to see all that is about him, being too focused on the goal making him vulnerable. As well as making him anti social and very untrusting to anyone outside of his clan, so at times hard to work with in a team setting wanting to do his own thing. He can do basic maneuvers piloting a ship but that is all otherwise would need assistance to make any real different is a ship on ship fight. As well as appearing level headed this can be broken easily when his brother is in danger prone to make him erratic with anger, or if triggered by something that brings back the trauma in his parents death he will emotionally break down and be an able to be effective at all in a combat setting. His blaster proficiency and ranged type weapons are his specialty. If he can use it at a distance he is a bigger threat and able to give the most support to his allies. Another attribute is that he is a born leader, maybe not through many words, but more by action and example he can inspire. Would also say stubborn and set in his ways not really open to new ideas outside his clans tradition so possibly hard to bargain with.
personality: Rakkiss Vano has always been a quite individual. His hard upbringing with a small mandalorian clan taught him at a young age the atvantage to keep appearance of unfeeling so much that he would naturally embody that mask he wore. Anything outside that cold emotionless attitude was seen by only a rare few within his allies. He did this to show no weakness and to instill the idea of his leadership. Firm but fair was what he believes in and won’t ask you to do something he was not willing to do himself. Having the only two things he cares about to keep him going, the mission to rebuild his clan from ashes and help lead all remaining mandalorians to take back what is theirs and rebuild what their people once were as a whole. As well as his brother who he wants to protect and have at his side on this great path they have chosen as brothers in the wide and vast galaxy. Deep inside he keeps a fear to himself, one that the very people he wants to fight for would kill him if they ever found out that he was force sensitive. Being untrained he can only pick up and random times the emotions and presence of others. But he is fearful his brother and other would find out and he would be done for in that situation. He also has a hatred and fear of force users and plans to do away with as many as he can on his journey. Hatred to want to kill them all off the face of the galaxy and a fear of their ability’s that he has seen kill his original clan and parents. He’s a man of small words, a bounty hunter, and a fighter who loves his blaster almost as much as he loves his brother. Simple man of simple Tastes to put it in the best of terms. But one of a complex tactical thinking to make up for the lack of output emotion, and eager to want to understand any new type of fighting he can learn, or any other knowledge he would want to know, this also kept a secret thinking other would find him weird. But all these traits make up the mandalorian Rakiss Vano who he is as a whole.
Biography: Born as the first into the leading family of a small mandalorian clan that kept their group secret for many years dating back to right before the fall and siege of the mandalore home world. His ancestors leaving to keep their traditions alive but apart from the main home world. Living planet to planet to keep their small numbers and ways alive, as the generations went we come to the birth of Rakiss Vano to the parents and leaders of clan Vano at the time, as well as his younger brother Laren Vano. Who were trained hard and were given the tools to be successful as mandalorians to one day take the throne of their parents. At the young age of 18 he and his brother were victim of a horrible attack a rouge user of the force who sought pain and suffering tricked them all. Seeming weak and in need and gained their trust, then once his plan was in motion attacked and kill everyone in the village. Or so he thought the two brothers survived scavenged pieces of their parents armor and anything they could salvage. After a few years of searching found the force user having hunting him so long they cornered him. Learning he was a user of the dark side who had sought out more knowledge of it, once they engaged in battle the two slowly broke down the opponent but not before something interferes. A creature lost to time that hasn’t been seen in hundreds of years awakens from its slumber at it sensing a force user close by finishing off the monster of a man, then picking up on Rakiss and his force sensitive nature attacks the two, the brother fight it off and slay the beast adding its claws to their armor to use in melee combat for a small advantage. Now they travel the galaxy bounty hunting and recruiting people to their cause to reform clan Vano as well as put into motion a plan that will help restore the mandalorian people as a whole. Now Rakiss is 23, a scar on his face shows his battle with the beast, and a tattoo of his clan new reformed. Covered in black mandalorian armor added with slight orange accents to be a hopefully a figure his people will see as hope, and to those who wronged his people a bringer of revenge and fear.
Skills: very proficient with blaster type weapons. This being one of his best skills as long as battle tactics and unconventional war fair as in traps and such. Average skill with melee weapons and can hold his own, as well as average piloting skills able to get by. He is slightly tech savvy and can do more than your basic tech wiz, no real medical knowledge able to help small wounds. As well as being force sensitive, being able to slightly feel emotion and detect life force, other than this no other training due to him hating it and not wanting to learn more of his so called curse.
Gear: 2 blaster pistols (Westar-55 heavy blaster pistols), and one short vibroblade sword and a vibro knife kept in his boot. He as well as his wrist bracers that the left side contains a small flamethrower and a repel cable. His right side has nothing but a small smoke screen device for getting distance and confusing enemy’s. This all on his person of his set of mandalorian armor, his ship is one of a Firespray-31 patrol and attack craft.
