Raid On Tatooine

Plot Outline Submission Template:

1. What is going to happen in your plot?
The Hutt cartel is going to perform a protection racket on the Planet of Tatooine

2. What other players will be a part of this?
TheWonderousBat, Lightspeed, Kallus, Topher Ridge along with role call before each phase. I will be DM on these

3. Where are all the places (if more than one) that your plot will be taking place?
tatooine

4. Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen.

phase 1
The Xim class war barge "bring of" and the dragonsnake frigate "pleasurably delights" along with two Oriva class corvettes "Pain" and "suffering" will exit hyper space over tatooine. a group of PC will then conduct a boarding on a A3 freighter in station above the planet. This ship was bringing in supplies and after wards would of gone back with ore. Capturing it would help starve the planet.

phase 2
With out supplies the planet would be low of food and water. There for a ground attack would make on there HQ where we can destroy all there supplies will force them to negations with the Hutt Cartel holding all the cards


Phase 3
mostly a social thread of negations so those with Hutts can role play being a slug crime lord.

5. What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game"?
To farther the greatness that is the hutt Cartel. All so as a reward each participant is allowed one advanced item from the hutt armory. Eg a He-11 flamer or a piece of armor with advance tech. In case of consumables like grenades it one crate of 6


6. Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose.

May need a staff member to DM the Hutt fleet though i am planing to DM the over all plot so can do it if allowed. The fleet will be there to carry all members to the front and get them to each location. Then will become background fluff.

Hi @Andrewza. There are, frankly, a lot of issues with this plot, which I will attempt to outline below:

1. What is a protection racket?
2. You cannot DM your own plot. You need an unbias third party, in the form of another user or staff, to do that for you.
3. Where are you (and the characters who have joined you) getting all these ships? You don't have the resources or the influence to just use them, so I'm afraid you won't be able to. Secondly, a single freighter would not starve out an entire planet. Entire fleets of ship supply planets with outside goods and Tatooine's residences have come up with their own means of producing food and water; you could not starve them out (why would you want to, anyways?) just through what you suggest.
4. Who is them? Who are you attacking? What HQ?
5. "mostly a social thread of negations so those with Hutts can role play being a slug crime lord." This sentence didn't make sense.
6. Your rewards don't make sense for the type of thread this is.
7. Why do you need a Hutt fleet?

As a result of the plethora of issues listed above, I am going to have to reject this plot.

2 does that include plots your character is not joining?


3 I had us simply being part of a large Hutt operation. Non of the assets will belong to us. In short we are being grunts in a larger war. Tatooin is meant to be lightly occupied by mining companies with a few settlements there being in support of these operations. Or at least that what I understand concidering the time frame we in. (all so naboo was getting starved out in phantom menace)

5 you know where Hutt members get to make outlandish demands

6 I was thinking it was like the Hutt rewarding the good work of there solders.

7 Hutt fleet is there since I dont see 4 or 5 people in a freighter realistically doing a protection racket on a planet. Even a lightly populated one like Tatooine



I understand if it is still rejected just explaining my thought processes for better clarity.
