That was surprisingly easy. Soran stands alone after a short meeting with some higher ups, they asked about why he wanted to follow the Sith beliefs and what he already knew. Easy answers, even a Jedi could have given his responses yet here he is an acolyte. First task in hand, learn his own true meaning to the Code of the Sith. Of course Soran knew the code, it was one of the first things about the Sith he had read, but what do they mean by what it means to him.

Soran pondered the question for a few moments while walking around taking in the new world.
"I suppose I should start at the library.", he began walking finally paying attention to his direction instead of sightseeing. Thinking back to the meeting as he walked, they wanted him to have a master. Soran had worked for many people but never called someone "master", he didn't enjoy the idea. But it is all a means to an end, one day he would be the master. His thoughts trailed off, did he want that? Stopping in his tracks, no not really he didn't need to command everyone for them to know his power was his mind. He began to walk again toward the library.

A large door stood in front of him, it had been so long since he was able to go to an actual library where he could devour as much information as possible. Almost unable to contain himself Soran takes a deep breath and enters the room.

The door slides open and Soran looks into the largest collection of knowledge he has ever seen. It reminded him of this first time he had been in close orbit to a blue giant, he felt small compared to everything, the feeling only lasted a moment and he continued in knowing that all he needed was to find a terminal and he could cross reference any information that this vault of knowledge held. The library was surprisingly busy and it took a few minutes to find an empty seat, realizing this was the first time since he arrived on Korriban that he had a chance to sit down. Soran took a deep breath, "Where to begin?", he scanned the data about the Sith Code quickly.

All this history right here in the palm of his hand, to gain this much would have cost him a years work and double that in waiting for it to arrive and here it is for free. You could have sat a sponge beside him at the rate he was learning and gotten the two confused. So much more waited under the surface of the Sith Code than just knowing how to recite it. This is truly what it meant to him, history, the ability to take history and follow the greatness of each Sith empire across the stars. History, as of this moment, sitting in this library he was part of that history and more importantly he was able to write his own along side it.

Muttering to himself as he takes notes, Soran stops for a moment realizing he is speaking out loud. Some of the others in the room are staring at him, Soran smiles politely and goes back to work. Halting his history research when he came across two words, "Sith Magic", this was the path he would go down. A Sith Sorcerer needed saber training but more importantly they needed to know the mind, Sith magic would allow him to control and manipulate minds in a new way.

He put history to the side for now, opening his mind to anything that he could find about these abilities Soran read and took notes for hours. Occasionally stopping to contemplate what the condition of his own mind must be to achieve any of the desired effects. Many hours later Soran had obtained many data pads worth of information, he needed explanation for many of them. He calmly packed and headed to the exit, his mind overflowing with what the future would hold.
"Ok, maybe a master would be a good start."

One step, two steps, three steps, each step the young acolyte would take was followed by a sound, no one else seemed to hear it through... Maybe it was on his mind? It didn't matter as a strange feeling would tell him to follow the origin of that sound.
And if indeed the human would follow those noises, he would walk away from that library and deep down in that building, and with each step toward its origin the sound became a melody, an old melody of darkness.
This melody came from a particular room, it was large, larger than the library upstairs, and on the far end of that room stood a large organ, red as a corrupted crystal with black, barroque details.
That instrument was played by something barely, barely resembling a human being, it's skin pale and dead, it's hands having only three fingers, and it's body rotten and corrupted by the darkside.
Now only a question remained: would Soran follow the noises, maybe even question the being that sat on that room? Or it would simply ignore the musical notes, searching for something, someone else? The choice was only his.

Soran approached the being with caution, curiosity had overcome him and he must know more. The music sounded very familiar but still new to him, "Lovely tune you are playing there. Does it have a name." Soran slowly circled toward the...human...yes he would assume human. The closer he got the more interested he became, this being had a feeling about them. This must be what the dark side feels like, this part of the force had been surrounding him since he arrived on Korriban and now he was looking at a living version of it.

The Being instantly stopped his music as he heard a voice inside the large chamber he was in, as the last note stopped resonating in the large walls the room would start assuming a slightly red coloration, and the smell of death would encompass the whole area.

Ebah... It's named Ebah.

Silence would feel the room for a few seconds, the red tone of the room becoming more apparent the closer the human would go to the beast.

Mmmh, i can sense you are no priest of our Glorious Church, so who are you? and why are you here?

The Beast would stand up after completing his sentence, the dark cloak he wore covering his body completely with the only exception being his head, but his shadow was an unsettling black figure not resembling the Sithspawn at all, large and covering most of the large organ behind him.

Soran studied the Beast, is this what the Dark Side could do to you? "I am Soran, and I have come here to learn.", the new young Sith smiled at his questioner, "Who are you?" Soran ever polite, "Why did you call it a church here?", he spoke while assessing the creature in front of him. He could feel the darkness coming from this Beast, surrounding him and filling the room.

As he stood in front of the Beast, Soran slowly remembered what he was, this was a Sith he must be careful. Giving away information was unwise and went against everything Soran stood for, yet here he was running off at the mouth. Even his questions sounded childish and arrogant, something about this figure made his mind feel calm. The dark side is truly powerful indeed, this creature is not at peace... peace is a lie. To exude this level of calm, what kind of power could this Beast hold... can it be taught? Still slowly studying this thing, waiting for seconds on a response that felt like an eternity.

Unblinking, unmoving, unwavering, Soran looked into the soul of the Beast and something looked back. It was dark, evil, and felt older than this creature could possibly be. For the first time Soran truly felt the force flow through him, not because it controlled him but because he allowed it to flow, he had control here. Seconds more passed as he waited for an answer that he knew would not come today, to know this Beast would take time, he could not call it master but could learn much from him...It.

Wait...what was that? Soran came back to reality, he felt a wave of fury from what seemed like it could have been from across the galaxy. No there were two great powers dominating the very fabric of the universe. Shaking his head and observing the Beast one more time Soran stepped back still holding his notes. Bowing his head slightly to the creature,
"Well, allow me to excuse myself I have a great deal of reading to do." Smiling as he turned and walked away, that would not be the last time he would encounter the Beast. Still feeling darkness surround him as he walked away Soran did not shy away from the feeling but had decided to embrace it. There would be plenty of time to discuss what the Sith Code truly meant to him, for now he would reexamine his notes and watch any holovids on how to utilize the force and focus his training. "What was that anger I felt?", Soran spoke openly to himself as he walked to his appointed quarters, he did not know but planned to find out one day.
