Well as far as trade negotiations went, the follow up return to meet with the directors of Thead Plasma tech was perhaps, rather fortunately little more than a series of formalities and follow ups from the last meeting. Perhpas it was more the disappointing fact that for several days of interstellar travel in Hyperspace, the meeting had lasted little longer than three hours - though it was by the Governor's own choosing, electing to avoid video conferences over the Holonet and take the more direct approach and meet in person, that way she would be able to better persuade the directors into agreeing alternative terms.
Still atleast there was of course one upside to her days of travel, Alyse would be able to visit 'The Jumping Gungan' a niche little restaurant that overlooked Lake Paonga. Standing and leaning against the railing of the upper terrace the blonde figure stood there, watching as the various lights of the surrounding buildings and the towering Royal palace shimmered over the still water.
Her quiet revere seemed to continue for felt like hours, contently staring out into the nightscape of the Nubian Capital City, breathing deeply both physically and through the Force, feeling the life that radiating throughout her surroundings. Whilst many of her fellow servents of the Darkside would see it as a lesser trait to reach out and feel how the Force flowed through all life around her - with many Sith dismissing it as being 'Jedi Garbage'. But for the blonde Bakuran, there was something of a beneficial quality, just for using that moment to simply reflect and take stock and getting a feel of the atmospherics of the denizens around her - almost as if it was a means of reading the room, knowing whether there was high levels of tension, anger or rejoice.
A light smile curled at the edge of her lips as she pushed herself away from the edge of the railing and stepped towards her table, nodding politely to the waiter who had finished setting out a small plate of finger food and a glass of crimson wine. Sitting down and relaxing into the depths of the padded seat, the young blonde sighed as she reached for the glass and lifted it from the table, swirling the crimson liquid in the glass for a moment before inhaling the rich earthy tones, savouring the scent for a moment before taking a sip of the aged wine. A light satisfied sigh escaping her lips as she set the glass back down onto the table and reached over for a rather worn and weathered leather bound book, the words Lectures on the Nature of the Force, only just visible on the crumpled spine where the original gold leaf etching had flaked off over the years.
With a bit of luck this would be the perfect recipe for a relaxing evening, before she would have to venture back to her home world to resume her senatorial duties once again.
