The large arena was silent, two combatants facing each other twenty meters apart in the center of the huge circular arena. Sand covered the arena floor, and the sun beat down from above. There was only one thing to do. Kill or be killed.

  • One generic level 1 Force user
  • One single bladed lightsaber.
  • Clothes

  • Keep fluff to a minimum, focus on technical detail
  • Instructors will be posting observations and advice throughout the thread, once every posting round or two.

The force user stood still, eyeing his opponent. It seemed like an even match from were he was standing. Sweat was already collecting along his brow as the sun shone bright from above. He ignited his lightsaber, the yellow blade humming to life. He swung it once or twice getting the feel of the current of power he now controlled. He widened his stance, bending his knees to be lower to the ground. His legs were farther apart than shoulder length, moving his ankles back and forth to make sure his soles were on solid ground. He held his lightsaber horizontally across his torso with a two handed grip with the hilt in front of his right arm and the blade itself extending past his left. A very defensive position, hoping to be ready for whatever his opponent could throw at him.

Bob the Exile started a slow walk towards his opponent, lightsaber humming gently at his side as he sized up his opponent. Their defensive minded stance invited the first attack, and Bob was all too happy to oblige. Gathering the Force around himself, Bob shifted his gait from a casual walk to a swift sprint. As he neared his opponent, a subtle brush of his hand would send a short wave of telekinetic energy straight into the man's chest, the swirling energy accompanied by a light cloud of sand and grit.

Closing the last few steps between them, Bob rushed in on his opponent's left side, striking out with his own saber to connect with his opponent's blade.

With his opponent drawing nearer, Billy purposely fell back from the impact of the Force against his chest, using it to roll further away from his opponent. He watched as his foe attacked from the left, and from his stance raised his right hand so the tip of the blade pointed down to the ground in a vertical pose as their blades clashed. He felt the tug of the lightsabers as they were drawn to each other, crackling with energy very close to his torso. In an effort to break the locked blades Billy pivoted his body to the right in order to get the tip of his opponents blade further away from him and lead into a sweeping kick to hopefully unbalance his foe.
