In order to protect Mandalorian assets and interests, The Protectors maintain the largest standing force out of all the clans, encompassing all realms of warfare. While primarily a defensive force, the Protectors maintain a fleet of enough potency to quash any trouble outright, either in the air or on the ground.
The Flagship of the Protectors.
Name: Taung-class Star Dreadnought

Shield Generator: Multiple (instead of several heavy shield generators, the Taung relies on a network of several hundred smaller generators that overlap and reinforce each other like scales; a single heavy shield generator is also installed, but cannot be used in conjunction with the others and is designated as an emergency backup)
Length: 13 km
A significant number of armaments are concealed beneath retractable armor panels all over the hull. Most of these are turbolaser and mass driver batteries, though there are also a number of rapid fire missile launchers and ion cannons. The dreadnought is also equipped with powerful tractor beam projectors, which have been positioned for maximum coverage. The vessel also possesses an advanced AI which is capable of managing many of the ship's functions. The AI also has a number of intrusion detection, firewall, and quarantine routines to combat cyber attacks or in most cases, prevent them entirely. The hull is thickly armored. It is also hardened against electromagnetic attacks, which it is capable of absorbing to some degree. The majority of the energy is dispersed into the frame, leaving otherwise vulnerable systems within the ship unharmed.
The Darasuum Tor has been modified to make it more amenable to its role as The Protectors Flagship. Several interior areas, once used to house troops, have been retrofitted into ceremonial areas, reducing the troop capacity slightly.

Description:
The Striil-class Battleship was designed to fill the gap between the Kom'rk and the Taung and as such, boasts an exceptionally heavy armament. Each of the main guns, a dozen ultra heavy turbolasers, require their own power generators to operate. The armor plating on the hull was designed and manufactured by the most skilled and talented of Mandalorian metalsmiths using many of the same techniques utilized in the forging of beskar. This special armor is extremely durable and can withstand much more than the standard, military-grade durasteel armor found on most warships. It is most commonly utilized as a flagship and is well suited to a counter-dreadnought role, especially when grouped.
This mighty Striil-class battleship was once a highly potent vessel of war, and a veteran of several naval battles, including several in the Mandalorian Civil War. But now, it has found a different calling. Now, this ship serves as the secondary command center of the Mandalorian Protectors.
Here the Protectors train, educate, and mingle with their fellows Protectors, maintaining their warrior traditions even away from the main group of their vode. The Brave Blood also houses the Protectors' personal armoury, their own forge, and a direct line of communication with both the Sol'yc Cabur and Mand'alor himself.

Most commonly, the Ori'aran Gunships are removed entirely, allowing room for one wing (72) Bes'uliike to take thier place.
Description:
A dedicated destroyer, the Kom'rk was designed for sustained close to medium range ship-to-ship combat. With the most advanced shield generators available and multiple layers of heavy armor plating, the Kom'rk was made to last, but it is the extensive array of weapon systems that truly make this vessel worthy of its name, title, and origin. The main guns, five heavy, dual barrel mass driver cannons on the exterior of the vessel, can propel massive explosive, fragmentation, armor piercing, and a variety of other lethal projectile rounds at high velocity and long range. There is no doubt that this vessel is a Mandalorian warship, designed by the galaxy's fiercest and longest surviving warrior culture.
The Protectors maintain a number of these vessels, and use them as their main troop transports and peacekeeping fleets. Prominent Captains and commands follow.
