It was about 2 am and the classified site, the location having been exposed, was deathly silent. Guards were patrolling outside here and there, but it was business as usual. Things had gotten lax after it had been several weeks of housing the Sith prisoner.

After a moment, shrill alarms began to blare inside and around the facility. Bright lights flashed as klaxons resounded loudly, cutting through the otherwise still night. The shuffling of boots and panicked voices would erupt for any prisoner to hear.

“BREACH AT SOUTH ENTRANCE!”

“GO GO GO!”

---
tenor.gif

There was a loud crash as the thick, durasteel doors flew off the hinges and were tossed aside. Bolts erupted from within, and they were expertly deflected and sent back with a red blade, the telltale hum resounding to send chills down the spine of all those present.

Heavy boots took slow steps, one in front of the other with methodical purpose as the man strode towards the building. Fingers curled into a fist as a group of men were sent hurtling back, slamming into the walls behind them with a sick crunch that cracked skulls and broke spines.

The Sith took care to duck beneath the doorframe before emerging within the facility. Rangers yelled and screamed as they approached him, but he kept his forward approach. The Force coiled around necks well until they crushed bones and left lifeless bodies in his wake.

He strode through the hallway, coiling the Force to slam two men up into the ceiling. As he walked beneath them, his saber swung in a casual arc to release their entrails to hang from above as he walked past them.

Limbs popped and were yanked forcefully from bodies, tossed unceremoniously aside. The man casually stepped past Rangers curled on the floor and crying out in agony as their blood spilled out onto the floor. There was a deathly chill that trailed him that even those not sensitive in the Force would feel.

The man walked with purpose, and he knew exactly where he was going. He entered a new room that had Rangers scrambling and running in different directions. He strode right past them, never slowing his pace. A few raised leveled their blasters, but they were forcefully spun to face one another right as they fired. The Sith stepped over those bodies and kept walking, finding a new hallway with red, flashing lights and the blaring alarms.

The Sith calmly walked towards a very specific door at the end of that hall. There was a droid that blocked the path, leveling its blaster and firing off bolts. The Sith deflected the blasts, sending some back towards the droid. Within moments, a powerful blast of lightning erupted from the man and hit the droid squarely in the chest.

The Sith kept walking, using the Force to lift up the droid and lazily float it over to the terminal to open the doors. On the other side, he stared at two Rangers that stood before the prisoner and held up blasters with trembling hands.

Even with a mask he could smell that stench of someone that had soiled themselves. Tears were freely streaming from their eyes as they shook where they stood.

The Sith surveyed this for a moment before he stepped forth and walked right between them and beyond. The Rangers burst into tears before they hastily fled the room.

The prisoner would then see the armor, helmet and stature of a man she hadn’t seen in almost a full year. A man that could clearly see. The Sith walked over to press a button to switch off the cell shield. The man’s fingers slowly began to curl as they coiled around the collar around the prisoner’s neck. When that fist closed, the collar shattered and fell away harmlessly.

The Sith did not pause to regard the prisoner, spinning on his heel as he reached towards his hip and unclipped a spare saber. The Sith casually tossed it over his shoulder to the woman before he began to walk from the room.

-Vera's Theme-

"You. What?!"

Her voice seethed over the comm, scowling at the whimpering cries. A Sith had broken into the facility, and they were scrambling like terrified rats away from a fire. Pulling on her blast vest and gripping her blaster, she scowled, blue eyes narrowed. "West, divide and defend the South entrance. Report to me if there's any resistance or others. Contact the Chief for reinforcements. There's two of them."

And where there were two, there could be more.

"Seal them off and keep an eye out. There could be more of them. DEFEND AND PROTECT!"

This wasn't the first time she had faced the Sith. There had been Coruscant. There had been Byblos. The prison break again. She gritted her teeth in fury at the security display as the man all but swaggered in to retrieve his prize.

Dammit, that girl was given the maximum security. Those two that fled, she would have their hides. This wasn't a time to be stupidly brave, but a time to consider, and strategize.
"Get aerial support, if they make a break for it I want them down in flames."

Shrugging on her equipment and gripping her blaster pistol, she wasn't gonna let them leave without a fight. She could very well die again, but she had no regrets.

It was all in the name of service.

When Pedee heard that Darth Raze is back, Pedee was intrigued. He has been off the radar for quite a while, and he would arranging this rescue operation. Not only is it for a certain Sith lady she is fond of, she is also a big asset to the Sith and should be retrieved.

Pedee has her standard equipment, and in addition she has the lightsaber she got from the ill-fated Byblos invasion, Tiamat dropped it and the droid took it to make a quick escape when the situation became unmanageable.

The bodyguard droid was following behind Raze, who was carving a path of carnage in his wake. Pedee was giving him a wide breadth, she doesn't want to get in his after all. Pedee had her Blackhand pistol in her left hand and a Kyuzo Blade in her right.

She came across one Ranger that had a blaster shot that wounded him badly, from when Raze caused two to shoot themselves, with one lying hapless on the ground, barely hanging him on to life, Pedee would put her durasteel foot on the Ranger's neck and then snap it, putting the poor organic out of it's misery.

While Raze is going towards the objective, the droid herself would divert for a while, there are more cells in here. And Pedee possess the tools on her chassis to hack through them. Pedee would start off with a cell close by where Raze is, and start working her way towards where they came from. The rangers that were watching the other prisoners aren't there because they were responding to Raze.

She could hack through the security with her tools, she could disable the shield keeping the prisoner or prisoners inside. Rinse and repeat, she would have a few more escaped prisoners by now. Seeing as this is a maximum security prison, they are probably dangerous. But they would be celebrating their freedom, and begin to take weapons off the dead rangers and begin a riot. A perfect screen while the Rangers are most likely mustering a sizable response.

Tiamat's eyes opened wide to the sound of the alarms, the klaxons making it very known that there was a breech in the security. Odd... she whispered to herself as her thoughts moved like molasses through her head. The illuminators seemed too loud and the alarms were too bright; the prisoner blinked several times to stop the auras that were still present from the drugs that they kept injecting her. She was beginning to hate needles and she was less than thrilled they missed a vein the other day, her arm still sore as she rose it above her head, wincing to the alarms and to the black and blue lines on her arm.

The redheaded Sith sat up, her hair stuck up in odd directions as she rubbed the back of her head, relieved she could move her arms a bit more freely without the cuffs. Generally the guards removed them while she slept, but it didn't do much good since her wrists were discolored from wearing them so often.

Tiamat stood up, her legs a bit wobbly as she approached the shield that kept her in her cell, two guards stood outside, they looked at each other before noticing the sith woman closer to her than they felt comfortable. One started to yell at her to get back, but Tiamat stood as she heard the door lock hiss, everyone's attention turned to the figure who entered. The woman's eyes widened in disbelief: the armor, the saber, and she was certain the faintness feeling in the Force told her this was no illusion. He had been gone for so long she could almost believe this was just her hallucinating from something the FWA had given her. However, he was walking without help, focused as though he could see again.... If circumstances were different, she would have jumped to embrace him and as much as she wanted to ignore the present danger, Tiamat knew she would have to wait.

A small smirk curled on her face as the guards ran off in their despair. The shield dropped as Raze pressed the release and the collar shattered from around her neck. There was overwhelming relief felt by his apprentice. The sith woman inhaled deeply, the Force twisting under her command, her blue eyes flickered with the golds of corruption as she welcomed its strength return to her body. Raze tossed her a saber in his classic nonchalant fashion and she caught it, a snap-hiss echoing in the chamber as she followed him out, her inner shadow hungered for anyone who wished to stop them.

Marasi stood in silence in her customized flight suit, hand grabbing one of the overhead hooks as the gunship flew in, guided in by its escort of a squadron's worth of fighters. The gunship rocked as a few shots from defense canon exploded a little too close for comfort, warning lights suddenly illuminating the interior of the gunship and enveloping its occupants in an eerie crimson. Marasi, her helmet's comm on the same frequency as the troopers and pilots accompanying her, let the frown of annoyance that formed on her face show in her voice. "Captain." Equal parts question and warning, the word was all that was needed. She could feel the pilot squired in his seat. But be it luck, or the pilot's skill, the ship did not rock again from that point on.

As the ship prepared for landing, the soldiers around her primed their weapons, but Marasi placed a hand on the shoulder of their commander and walked towards the ramp herself. They knew their orders, and they would follow them. No matter how much it irked them, or hurt their pride. Their landing was accompanied by a few more shakes of the ship, though this time Marasi was too focused on the enjoyment that was imminent to bother with admonishing the pilot. As the ship touched down and the ramp began to descend, the red lights inside the gunship went out, leaving them in darkness. Marasi emerged from the darkness, lightsaber coming to life in her hand.

She faced a hangar full of soldiers, hiding behind make shift barricades. But they didn't open fire, in the one moment they could have pressed their advantage and overwhelmed her they showed restraint. Honor, their pride, their weakness. "Drop the saber!" Marasi turned to locate the source of the voice, a grizzles looking veteran, her voice just as steady has her demeanor, unlike those she commanded. Marasi respected that. "I said drop the saber, we've got you outnumbered. No one needs to die today."

BUVJ3Ut.gif

In the quiet moments that followed, the republic soldiers holding their breath in the hopes of her surrender, the snap-hiss of a lightsaber igniting behind her pierced the silence, then another, and another. "I am far from outnumbered." Behind her helmet Marasi smiled, a vicious, sadistic smile. "Now then, why don't I return the courtesy you offered me. Drop your weapons and no one gets hurt."

She watched the commander think it over, glancing around at the soldiers around her, seeing the fear in their eyes. One Sith they were ready to face, but over a dozen? She knew this fight was over. She nodded, and at a gesture from her all the soldiers started dropping their weapons. Marasi alone started descending the ramp, and at an unsaid command the troopers waiting behind the other Sith rushed out. In short order they had the soldiers disarmed and huddled up in a corner. The soldiers, in their fear didn't even notice some of the troopers walk right through the Sith still waiting within the ship.

Marasi walked up to the commander, and took off her helmet as she knelt in front of her. "You see, there's just one problem. Many more need to die today." That was when the lights came on inside the gunship, the holograms of the other Sith vanishing, and the commander's eyes widened in shock.

"You tricked us?!"

That was all she could say before Marasi's lightsaber came to life once more, piercing through her heart. As he lifeless body dropped to the ground, the last thing she witnessed was her troops getting massacred. Marasi slipped her helmet back on, and walked over her body towards the center of the hangar as one of the troopers sent out the message to the remaining members of the strike force, including Darth Raze and the droid, that the hangar had been secured.

"Of course I did, I am Sith."

Clingkkh. Clingkkh. Clingkkkkkh.

The sound echoed through the small prison cell in a steady rhythm. A hurried pace that Darth Asminys drove with sheer determination as he dug at the section of wall with an improvised shovel. The broken remains of his shock collar. The Free World Alliance had locked him away for three months. No contact. No questioning. Not a face for three months.

Not a face except Alexandria Voran and that Ishi Tib Jedi.

The Free Worlds Alliance had locked him up and forgotten about him, thrown away the key.

So much for Freedom.

Asminys dug with more determination. He knew the truth of freedom and he refused to let them take it away from him. He knew that the only freedom you had, was the freedom that you took.

Three months of being drugged behind a ray shield, collared and cuffed, shocked at the slightest hint of movement. It had been a nice vacation from the pressures of Lorddom, a diversion from his duties. The diversion of his duties had ultimately only made him angry. Well, angrier.

He really wanted to kill something.

Three months of resisting the drugs, slowly gaining lucidity by forcing the poison from his veins. Three months of micro muscle exercises, fine tuned over shock after shock to trick and evade the cuffs and collars sensors, intended to keep himself strong enough for this day. Three months of hateful thoughts as he plotted his escape, planned how he would murder every single one of his captors with his bare hands, however many there were. He dug faster.

Resting on the stumps of what had once been a magnificently sculpted set of legs, legs that could dance the dance of death and deliver it wantonly. Resting on the stumps, Asminys swung the broken shock collar with furious intensity. Resting on the stumps, sweat sheened in the short hair that partially covered his tattoos as he dug his way to freedom, slowly chipping away at the backside of the ray shields control panel. He couldn't help but feel even more hate for the men that had taken his legs from him, the helmeted bladespinning Jedi and his nauseatingly statuesque cheerleader.

He froze as the lights turned red and claxons blared. A familiar sensation trickled in from outside, an irksome cold shadow that leaned tall and long in the force.

Emryc Thorne.

It had to be him.

Asminys' brow furrowed, a grimace gracing a mouth used to frowning as he thought of the man. He hated him, but he hated everybody. He had shared... something... with the man. A few moments in his utterly miserable existence that he had let his hate burn low. He searched for the feeling in his memory, but he couldn't find it. Every memory of anger was intact, each flavor of hate that he had ever experience locked away for him to revisit. But whatever he had felt that day was gone. Only a faint echo of a scream, the roaring and gnashing of teeth, and a shadow of blood on the floor remained, an echo that Asminys neither heard nor felt but in the deepest recesses of his mind.

Cgkkh.Cgkkh.Cgkkh.Cgkkh.Cgkkh.Cgkkh.

He renewed his digging with increased fury, determination to get out on his own before Darth Raze arrived to be his savior. The thought disgusted him that he would owe the other Sith Lord his life, something he had over the other Sith from when they had first met. He should have killed him that day. He had had the then young Sith Lord at his mercy, laying unconscious at his feet, his potential as a rival showing even then. He should have killed him that day. The thought cycled through his head as he furiously dug, disrupted only by the realization that the young Sephi had likely grown taller and once more he cursed the Jedi for what they had taken from him.

Darmus had been sipping from a mug with rather weak caf. "I'm telling you three months is a long time, we'd better transport the prisoners to the Light-" his rather excellent suggestion was interrupted by loud alarms and the intercom shouting something about a breach at the south entrance, "-house." Kriff. Kriff. Kriff. Karking Kriff. First Coruscant, then Byblos and now again he found himself at the wrong place at the wrong time. Interrogating the prisoners was supposed to be the easy laid-back weekly assignment compared to taking down yet another arms dealer at the edge of FWA space.

He put the caf down on the table just in time to hear ranger Coultier yell and bark orders. There were a few more prisoners at this black site than just the two sith. Some local crimelords and another arms dealer, but it wasn't hard to figure out in which direction the Sith would go. One of the captured Sith had legs to run away with, the other didn't. "Let's get to her cell stat," he told his fellow rangers as he took his own blaster pistol from his holster and watched her do the same. There was no point in trusting the locals with this.. they had never encountered a Sith before.

The comms were chaos. Many reported more Sith, death of commanders and entire squads. Prisoner's escaping. Kriff, those crimelords would cause an underworld war on Byblos once they decided to go after whoever had usurped them and taking their titles for their own. Still, Darmus made for Tiamat's cell, assuming ranger Coulter would follow.

and maybe they would've reached in time if there didn't suddenly stand face-to-face with a rather large Weequay known affectionately on Byblos as 'Nekko Breakneck' for his tendency to.. well, you get it. There had been a time when Darmus had first gone for his badge and ordered the weequay to surrender despite the murderous look of the known murderer. This, however, was not that time. Nekko charged the pair of rangers and almost reached them before Darmus finally pulled the trigger and planted a bolt straight into the weequay's murderous grin. His lifeless body dove forwards and only came to a stop mere centimetres before them. "Seems they got to the prison controls quick-" he finally release the air in his lungs. He'd been holding it in. His heart was racing, too. Kriff.

Then rounding the corner came one of the men assigned to guard Tiamat's cell. "Run, run!" he yelled in despair, "Cell is open! I think I saw-" he ran straight passed them and the remainder of his sentence merely trailed after him as he rounded another corner heading for the north exit, "-I think I saw Darth Raze." Darmus turned to Vera, "You ready for this?" he asked her. They were both not just old, but also accomplished and veteran rangers. The Sector Rangers as an organization would sorely miss their collective experience and yet there was no place for them to run. No mirror Darmus could look in if he ran away now. Kriff. Maybe it was true that sooner or later a ranger's destiny is to die in a battle for justice.

Raze and Tiamat stepped into the corridor that was immediately outside of the room with the cell. It was a long hallway that held nothing but a set of doors on the other side and a collapsed droid near the doorway the Sith stepped through.

Two Rangers rushed in through the opposite doorway across the two Sith. The klaxons continued to blare, the red, flashing lights illuminating the tall and dark figure that stood at the end of the hallway. Red saber was ignited once more as the Sith watched the two Rangers appear before him.

The Force would be sent out as a concussive blast at them both in an effort to harshly slam them against the walls adjacent to the doorway behind them. Raze stepped forth to begin closing the distance, his saber held before him in guard against any incoming bolts. He was also wary of any grenades, watching for any abrupt movements.

“They die,” The quiet, mechanized voice addressed his apprentice.

Draco Virtus was at the massive prison bringing in a wanted criminal from Tatooine that needed a personal escort. He was coming in through the North side doors with The Twi'lek that was cuffed was a suspected child smuggler and kidnapper. Hes been on the run for quite some time before Draco managed to follow his trail and snag him up. The crimes the Twi'lek done were near unspeakable and of distaste as Draco was behind him wearing his usual Mako03 armor and kit that came with it.

Pushing the Twi'lek forward to walk as he stood behind him and pressed a button to let them advance into another hallway. A loud buzz went off on a speaker near the door. "Name." rang from the buzzer as Draco firmly spoke through his helmet with his twang. "Ranger Virtus, Draco. Badge 146151." a moment passed before a response came to.

"Cleared. Proceed." the locking mechanisms began to unlatch as the door came free and Draco pushed it open with the Twi'lek leading. Draco was only in the midst of doing the paperwork and finishing up booking the piece of shit before alarms started blaring all around the place. Security footage caught red glowing lightsabers entering the perimeter and suddenly hell broke.

"What the kark.." his eyes burrowed at the footage with a hard and stern gaze. Rangers and guards started running around in every direction. Grabbing gear, moving down hallways and rooms while the Guards controlling the footage/gates were on radios talking to Rangers and relaying troop movements. Suddenly coming upon the footage prisoner cells were starting to open 1-by-1.

The Twi'lek in custody almost was in his glee with a smile watching the chaos unfold. "Looks like your shit out of luck." he laughed endlessly like a maniac. Draco perked a eyebrow under his helmet before slamming the Twi'leks head off the table without hesitation as the Twi'lek made contact it with it and fell backwards groaning half in and out of it. Kneeling down Draco would cuff his ankles to the tables frame as his hands were already prior cuffed. Slinging his blaster rifle over his chest on a strap. Draco would bark at a group of soldiers looking around clueless.

"On me, Move." he said with his twang as he began to push his way down the hallways and corridors. The troops began forming behind him in number as Rangers seen the flocks of them going in a direction and joined. The momentum was swinging as Draco managed to make his way to the far end of the hangars and come right through the doors.

Scanning forward he seen massacared Rangers on the floor with Sith standing all around them. Dark pools of blood forming along with limp bodies. The troops behind Draco began flowing out and grabbing whatever hard cover as possible as the Sith were in the center.

He never said a word until seeing what looked like the leader in the middle. His twang straightforward "Howdy." as the tension heightened. He stood near a piece of rubbled debris as he figured this was some sort of breakout but Draco will do everything he can to be a thorn in their side.

It was supposed to be just a normal check in with the prison. You know just make sure everything was in order, all the bad guys were in their respective cages. Make sure the animals were fed. Stuff like that.

As soon as Klepti walked in he saw chaos. Troops running left and right. Grabbing guns. Grabbing nades. Grabbing ass. Wait, scratch that last one. The Jawa was sure that something was wrong. Especially when he could hear an alarm get set off. Sometimes the Ranger life doesn’t sound as good as it did before. Klepti could’ve been home making music but instead he joined up. So dumb.

“Shima Uta Ai konkwa”
(Son of a b****)

The little Ranger found Draco leading a team forward. So of course Klepti would follow. Strong alone, stronger together. The Jawa took cover behind a desk like structure on the left side of the hangar. He had his carbine repeating blaster drawn and aimed. Whatever diptwat came down that path was about to regret pissing Ranger Uutkik off.

Klepti was looking down the path in front of the fire team. He could see some figures and knew right away they were bad news. He cocked his repeater and was ready for the signal. Draco is great Ranger, he’ll know when the right time to strike is.

She smirked briefly at Darmus, giving him a light nudge.

"Gotta show the kids, after all."

It was a pity she hadn't really gotten to do much partner work with him before; ah well. Still, the two Sith were close, but she hadn't realized just how close they really were. Still, the Darth's words were unmistakable.

"They die."

She had to laugh at that. A genuinely, hard laugh, knocked out of her by the blast shoving her hard into the wall behind her. Grunting, she gripped the blaster tighter, but her free hand drew out something else.

A long vibroknife.

"Kid. I've known that a long time. Don't be so dramatic."

She was deliberately engaging him, keeping his focus on her. Regardless of Darmus' choice of what he would do, she was going to stay and fight. "Bring reinforcements, they're here in my coordinates. Seal when they clear." She was no fool; they could easily slice their way out with their lightsabers, but she wouldn't make it easy for them. Two Rangers against two Sith? The odds weren't tipped in their favor, but she was perfectly fine with that.

Maybe now I can see Cipriani again if I'm even worthy.

Vizim wasn't what most would consider a "compassionate" man or even "loyal" which may have made it odd that he was here on a rescue operation. Sith who were captured didn't deserve rescue if you listened to "conventional" wisdom. But the thing about that was that conventional wisdom was often stupid and there were several fringe benefits - and negated disadvantages - to be had by showing up here.

While Raze stormed in to draw the ire of the Rangers and another Sith landed in the hangar where one might expect attack, Vizim moved like a shadow. It was easier to break into a prison like this than out of it, after all. He had been dropped onto the roof of the facility, and that does mean dropped. Leaping from a ship far above and using the Force to keep himself from splattering on impact that would have killed a normal person, the assassin moved cautiously as the ship moved into a distant standby position.

At 02:00 he didn't light his saber or draw attention to himself crouched quite low on the roof. Instead his weapons were still stowed away and his mask was drawn up over his face. Everyone else could have their fun, Vizim was more than happy to pass unnoticed.

It had been difficult to tell what direction she was heading, being in the cell for so long left her with a lack of direction. However, the redheaded Sith felt she would rather clean house before leaving; it certainly had been too long since she had a good stretch in her abilities.

She allowed her blade to drag along the floor of the hall as she followed in step with Raze. It sparked and snapped in her trail before she brought it up, rotating her wrist and elbow in anticipation for the thrills they would encounter on their way to the exit. However, as the next set of daring Rangers came through the door, Tiamat felt she had walked into the geriatric ward of the jail. Perhaps the FWA was having some budget cuts and were housing old folks with the criminals. It sounded cost effective, both groups were probably those on their way out anyways. She would make note to drop the suggestion about doing the same in the Sith.

The Force blasted from Raze into the rangers as he continued forward, speaking his command. Tiamat's brow furrowed in her focus, her attention taking to the male Ranger ( @Ecclessey ) as she never paused in her step, blade raised and ready for any cute tricks they would try to pull. Though, the Force would scream as it twisted under her command. If the concussive blast did not take him out, the Force would wrap around the man's legs to take them out from underneath, hopefully giving him a rough enough landing to break a hip.

Before Darmus fully realized what was happening he was pushed back against the nearby wall and only barely managed to prevent the back of his head to whiplash against the concrete. Only then when a figure said something ominous did Darmus manage to see and register what was happening: her cell was open, but he didn't worry too much about her. Three months of being drugged, shackled and restrained would have taken quite the physical toll on her and drained her of the stamina she needed to fully utilize the Force, or so Jedi Master Oren Zapan had explained to Darmus the Force worked long ago.

The wobbly, shaken and bad-state Sith nevertheless seemed to fixate her gaze on the old man as she started to cross the still significant distance between them, her blade -where did she get a lightsaber for kriff's sake- raised up. Darmus saw only one way to counter a blade raised upwards and the stride towards him and that was to take a quick shot at her feet. He quickly pulled the trigger once before he felt his feet being jerked forward, forcing his back to stay against the wall and providing some stability as his butt slid down to the ground and he pulled the trigger again, this time aimed slightly higher at her knees.

Now seated on the cold floor, Darmus caught the adjacent hallway in the corner of his eye. Just one roll away and if a Sith could still pose a threat after suffering seditives and shocks for months then he might have to take better cover soon. Kriff. Combat was always such an anti-climax when facing Force sensitives.

Klaxons blared in a rhythmic dirge of the wounded base. Emergency lights drenched the hallways of the prison in a sickening red. Some of the florescent hallway lights still weakly flickered in defiance but would not survive long. Much like the personnel of this base who got caught unawares by a Sith assault. Lieutenant Velt had accompanied Ranger Onn to review the conditions of the maximum security facility but they gotten separated when the younger of the two went to inspect the patrol droids at a guard post. Given the inmates housed here, Corran had come fully equipped with his Sentinel armor, vibrosword, concussion grenades, two blaster pistols, and a blaster rifle. Call it paranoia, but after his experience at the former Sector Ranger HQ, he rarely went far without his gear.

Those 'delusions' turned nightmarishly real when the prison was attacked by the Sith. If the Coruscanti Prison incident was anything to go by, they always came for their own. Corran rushed through the darkened halls with his blaster rifle at the ready. He'd discovered the intruders had begun releasing convicts beyond their goal when two serial murderers and professional assassins were found looting the dead. They joined the corpses. Another corner was rounded as the Lieutenant neared the coordinates Ranger Coulter pinged on his HUD. Near the specialized Force-user cells. Along the way, he took the prerogitive of an officer and sent out a warning through the secure Rangers only comm-channel. "All units, use stun setting against Saber-wielders. Lethal rounds can be deflected. Repeat, use stun."

Pressing his shoulder to the wall, Corran peered down into the L-shaped hallway that led to the cell area where 'Tiamat' had been held. Sky-blue eyes widened in shock to see Darmus fly against the wall by an unknown energy. Force-users. Usually law enforcement would take the time to yell 'freeze' or 'surrender.' The cackling laughter of a Sith woman dancing with toxic blades had disposed of any such honorable notion in the blond ranger.

Rushing to the corner for cover and bracing the rifle to steady aim, Lieutenant Velt would fire off one stun shot at Tiamat's center body of mass to provide Darmus, and as it turned out, Vee, some suppressing fire. If the Sith wanted to leave with her, they'd have to drag her out.

Raze quietly observed the female Ranger as she had some choice words for him. She picked quite possibly the worst Sith to attempt to rile up, his helmet just as blank as the stare beneath it. He remained silent, gaze flicking to the other Ranger briefly to see what he was doing before looking back at the woman. Sensitive ears could hear movement beyond the hallway of a large man plodding down the adjacent corridor.

The Sith lord tilted his head slightly as he considered his options, watching the male reaching for his blaster. The Force coiled around the female Ranger then and, without warning, she was yanked directly forward and towards the two Sith. This abruptly put her in the path of the male Ranger’s first incoming bolt that was now likely to impact against the back of the female’s feet. If the male continued with leveling and firing the second volley, they would be hitting against the woman’s legs.

The yank with the Force also meant that the new man turned the corner in time to fire a stun bolt into the back of his comrade that wasn’t there before. Regardless of what the other Rangers did, Vera would be square in the way in the middle of the hallway and used as a meat shield for Tiamat.

Raze kept his saber up to deflect any stray bolts but otherwise decided to remain standing instead of moving forward.

Goddamn, these Sith were karking cowards.

Using her as a ragdoll meat shield? She bared a grin at the Sith, but as shots impacted against her prosthetic, she snarled in pain, the smile turning almost feral. The prosthetic had been completely blown off, dangling only because of her pants tucked into her boots. One good shake would likely dislodge it entirely from the pant leg. Blue eyes glittered icily as the man didn't even give a response. Grunting as a stun shot impacted against her back, she could feel her grip loosen on the blade, but the Sith made one vital mistake.

She wasn't afraid to die.

"C-coward!" She snapped to the Sith Lords, hand spasming to grip tighter on her blaster and blade. They weren't within striking distance of the vibroweapon, but she could keep his attention on her.

It seemed he was mostly on the defensive, rather than outright offensive. He would use her to soak up the blaster fire down the hallway. Possibly even use her life as a bargaining chip. She refused to be a pawn in his game.

She stared her death right in the face and didn't flinch.

"Retreat and seal," she managed to snap, staring right at the helmeted head of the silent Sith. Everything karking hurt. It was almost as bad as Coruscant, if not worse. Hopefully the two wouldn't try and be reckless heroes; she had to keep the two Sith engaged and slow their progress, at least, if she could even manage. But another stun shot would render her near useless. It didn't look good.

Acting as though she was about to aim her vibro towards the redhead, she instead shifted at the last possible second, switching it for a firmer grip to hold onto it so she wouldn't drop it while her stun blaster aimed and fired twice towards the other Sith that wanted to play puppet with her towards his extended hand and arm. Her blaster arm wouldn't be extended far, so manipulating the trajectory of shots harmlessly away would be more difficult, as would be getting it to strike any of her companions. Still, she hoped it would be distraction enough to buy the other two time to either continue giving the Sith hell or get the kark outta Dodge.

She didn't care what happened to her, the lives of her comrades were at stake here and she'd be damned if they did something harebrained to keep her alive.

Pedee set quite a decent amount of prisoners free by this point. They looked like they could do some damage. They would either cause lots of destruction to get revenge or to escape, or they would serve as speedbumps for the prison response. Either way they would be a decent distraction.

The droid did hear some blaster fire particlarlly close by. Pedee would stop and check it out. Pedee thought this was a good time to have some fun. Pedee would exit the room she was in and saw a trio of Rangers. Pedee was positioned closer to the Rangers as she was previously working her way towards the way they came out. Pedee is nothing but a protector, so she will protect Tiamat, spilling organic blood in the process. She doesn't mind helping her fellow lady as well.

After exiting the room Pedee was in, she was able to see somewhat into other hallway they came from. Pedee would then move into action, charging with speed at the one with the weird helmet (@TerranSteel) after he fired a stun shot. Pedee had her blaster pistol leveled in the left hand and her Kyuzo Petar armed for her right. Pedee is a fast droid and she is already pretty close When she closed the distance, she would punch him in the the face with her right hand. Not only would Corran be feeling the taste of a bronzium knuckguard with the power behind her fists, she would also do a downward slash motion so he could be cut up as well by the Petar's blades, aiming to slice him up as well. "Die filthy organic" she said with menace she she attacked.

Pedee's positioning also left her out of the way of Raze and Tiamat, so she wouldn't he harmed by her fellow Sith.

The arrival of the rangers did not go unnoticed, after all they hadn't made any attempt to be stealthy, and a door opening wasn't easy to miss. Marasi wasn't the only one to notice the arrival of the Rangers either, her troopers were quick to respond as well. As the soldiers started emerging from the door into the hangar, the troopers turned their blasters towards the bottle-neck that was the doorway through which the soldiers emerged and opened fire. They did not wait to let them take cover, blaster fire would ring out and start cutting their numbers down.

The leader of the group was not spared either (@Exhilian), as blaster shots were fired at him as he made his way into the hangar. As for Marasi, she spotted the smaller figure behind him (@Scoobert) and once he crossed the doorway she reached out with the Force, grabbed him in a telekinetic grip, and pulled him forward to slam him straight into the back of the leader, before either could get to cover. Her lightsaber held diagonally in front of her in a defensive grip, she nodded and one of the troopers took aim at tangled mess of bodies the two rangers might have become and would fire off four rounds at them.

The blaster fire would continue from the Sith troopers, who themselves would take cover behind storage boxes and Marasi took a few steps to the side to move behind some stacked boxes where she could easily duck down to take cover as well if she needed to, but really waiting to see what the rangers would do next.

Draco Virtus would suddenly be slammed from behind by the small Jawa. Taking him off his feet as the blasters being fired by the Sith missed his prior location before they impacted the dirt where he stood. The little jawa wasn't a big lanky human so Draco easily rolled off the little Ranger while throwing him non intently halfway in cover from getting up as he rolled the little a giant a pile of debris with the 4 blaster bolts impacting his last spot and missing his body. He had a smile on his face a bit under the helmet as he liked this Sith."This bitch is a blast." He growled with glee in his southern twang and popped up to fire a succession of 5 blaster bolts tactically in the ground infront of the ongoing Sith's cover who were engaged back and forth with the other Rangers who managed to make it in.

The bolts impacting the ground would send a short curtain of dirt in the air as Draco knowing his next move fired another rapid set of shots into the dirt curtain that helped conceal the incoming bolts. A few unlucky sith would've had their head up and caught a bolt. It may not have been accurate enough to nail a lot but it sure wounded and disabled a few who were unlucky enough to look. Draco would glance over to the far left side of the hangar as makeshift barricades were all around. The quick act helped more Rangers flow into the hangar as Draco ordered them to move far left in the hangar.

"Fire n' Move!" he hollered as The Rangers began to match the firepower with the Sith by bounding and covering one another with sustaining fire as Draco shoved the barrel of his rifle in a small hole in the barricade that had a decent shot at the Siths last known location. She seemed to have grabbed cover as she wasn't standing up in the middle anymore. Draco grittin' his teeth would watch as he only managed to catch a small portion of her face behind the container. There she is..With that He would let a quick rip of blaster rifle as they would whip towards the half revealed target.

Draco still had his everyday equipment on him and weighed out his options within seconds. He spent years in the Special Tactics and hostage situations and relied on his training to make his next move. He would wait to see if it was a hit or miss. If he never got her he'd wait for a reaction as the Rangers managed to get a better foothold in the hangar since Draco's stunt.
