It had been a strange week for Ash. He was on Felucia doing some 'meditation' with his 'padawan' when. The Council seemed to think he was a little too high strung and and could do with a bit of relaxation. What did they know, really. Truthfully he was helping a few friends of his settle some disputes with their neighbors. Not that he got that far of course. No, within four hours of landing on that wretched jungle world he had fallen asleep, only to wake up where he was right now.

And it wasn't Felucia.

When he woke up he found he was chained to the wall by his neck and his hands behind his back, also chained to the wall. He was dizzy nauseous and tired, which lead him to believe he had some minor concussion. He couldn't lay down because of the collar and chain on his neck, and he couldn't stand because of the cuffs and chains on his hands. It was not comfortable, if anyone asked. He glanced around his cell, heart rate picking up as he began to process his situation. There were three others in the cell with him which was lit by a single overhead light, though he couldn't really make out their features as they were all seemingly still asleep. He put them out of his mind for the moment and attempted to look around with the force.

Bad idea, possibly one of the worst he has ever had actually. The chains began to shock him for around three seconds of eternity before they mercifully relented. He was twitching and thrashing the whole while and the strangled scream he produced could probably wake the dead. Absently he wondered how these binds could know he was trying to use the force, but it wasn't exactly the biggest problem he had at the moment.

He let himself calm down for a moment, letting the urge to vomit pass over him and forcibly clearing his head. He let out a string of curses, before returning his attention to his supposed roommates. "Hey! Wake up!" He rasped with much less gusto than he thought he could muster.

The last thing Thalia remembered was disagreeing with the wrong Devaronian in a trade, blasters were pulled, there was yelling and she fell to the floor of the pub. Sometimes she was amazed to the trouble that she seemed get herself into, simple jobs were clearly never simple and most of the time, it resulted in a conundrum that lead to her with less credits and more bruises. At some point during the brawl, she felt something contact the side of her head and now she was waking on the floor of a cell to someone crying out. She laid quietly and still, processing where she was as her mind seemed to take just an extra moment until she jolted up with a small gasp.

She looked around to see others imprisoned also, and one guy who was actually chained up. She rubbed her lip, still tasting blood in her mouth from where her lip was cracked, "Where the kriff....?" she looked around and listening for a moment she could hear the humming of engines, "In space..." she nodded and stood up, trying to see out the viewport on the door, but couldn't see much.

Her attention turned back to the one man who was chained, "You must have really messed up." she said crouching down in front him and looked to the others, "These guys your friends?" she asked.

One moment Leon was simply chasing a known slicer through streets, the next he was waking up in a small cell. His senses rushed back to him and he awakes with a small gasp. His head was pounding and he attempted to put his hands to his head only to to pull a chain taught. Groaning he opens his eyes and blinks them into focus. On the upside, he wasn't alone. On the downside he had no idea who any of these people were. Glancing down at himself, his jacket, badge and gun were all gone. Grunting he hauled himself up to a sitting position and takes a closer look at those around him. Two of the others were awake, a male with a weird collar around his neck and a female who didn't seem to be bound at all.

"What in the kriff happened? Where are we?"He looks over at the fourth figure that still lay on the floor and then back to the other two. "And who are you?" He leaned his pounding head back against the wall of the cell. At least with his badge gone, he could lie about who he was if it turned out these two were criminals. Last thing he needed was more enemies than he already had. The situation was unknown, but right now these people were likely his only allies for the time being.

It sounded like several other people were coming to in their separate cell. His own cell was one down and across from the noisy group that were cursing at what sounded like a painfully forgettable night. A prison ship seemed a bit overkill for some drunks.

"Why didn't you take his armor off?" One of the guards carried on the conversation outside of the cell, glancing at the occupant inside it. "Uh...cuz it's a karking Mandalorian helmet." While Roland appreciated the reputation of his people he did not even quirk a smile underneath the cross visor that peered out of the prison cell. "Haggardy said he gave up the blasters and weapons. Sorry sack still tried taking this guy's helmet and that's why he's in the infirmary."

The guard snorted. "Well duh, bet we could get it now though."

"He was already in binders when he broke Haggardy's nose." There had been one or two other broken things that Roland recalled.

"Oh...Now that I look at him he doesn't even have a T visor. It's more like a..." While the guard tried thinking of the right wording to use for Roland's visor shape he figured now was the best time to break the continued back and forth. "I'm a Sector Ranger numb nuts." He shook his head in obvious disappointment once he gained the attention of the idle guards. The guard that seemed to be a few fries short of a happy meal chuckled and tried to act like he was not intimated by the man's claims. Roland continued, hoping the guards would realize the error. "You took my things so I know that you know I have a badge." He was not happy about ending up in a prison cell.

Roland was not exactly try to escape or too worried at this point but this was definitely not a good day. He preferred putting criminals in cells over being mistaken for one. But he also knew trying to fight did not help things either. The Mandalorian had dealt with criminals who resisted right up until he saw them carted off. It rarely did anything and never anything good. He thought about warning the guards that they, or whomever was their superior, would get their fair share of reprimanding among other things. That idea actually does make me happy. Di'kutla shabuir.

The guards moved on for now leaving Roland to wait for the wheels of bureaucracy to get him out of the cell, eventually. An audible sigh came from the man who would slowly pace around his cell. It was not long before he ended up at the front of the confining room. The man looked out to see if he could occupy his idle mind with the sight of what other unsavory criminals were in the other cells. With any luck the guards would complain to their boss and come back with the key.

Ash blinked away the after effects of the shocking incident and tried to readjust into a better position. His knees were tired, his neck was sore and his wrists chafed. Soon the wolves would begin chasing him he was sure. He tried to wriggle his hands out of the cuffs but had little luck.

Two others were stirring in the cell, but the third wasn't even moving. Would be unfortunate if they were dead, things would start getting smelly. He tried focusing on them but his only good eye wasn't working too good, and just gave him the image of tan blurs. One of the blurs came closer and the image of the woman got a little clearer though not by much. He raised his head to get a better look at her but the ringing in his ears didn't really accommodate both hearing and answering her questions.

He just shook his head in confusion as he saw her mouth move before he began flexing his jaw to try and clear his ears. He didn't catch what the girl said, but he did hear what the other blur said. "No clue, can't even hear myself think." He grumbled. "Names Ash, I'm a Jedi. I'll just assume neither of you know why we are here." He continued to rasp.

He heard guards having a bit of a banter outside the cell and a bit away from them. Again he started to use the force before at the last moment another four seconds of electricity began arcing across him. That was enough of that for today, he thought as he groaned.

She couldn't tell if he even was listening to her, his focus was clearly elsewhere, disorientated from who knows what else happened prior to arriving on the ship. She glanced at the other man who was in the cell with them, speaking and asking his own questions as to what was going on, and it was clear to Thalia that it was a question they would need an answer soon. However, the guy in chains introduced himself as Ash and to add he was a Jedi. She felt herself withdraw, her tone would change as she felt she needed to be more cautious around this Force user. Standing up to give her calves another stretched, the girl glanced to the third person in the cell with them who was not speaking or moving whatsoever.

"My name is Thalia." she said staring at the body and then too the door. "This place isn't sterile enough to be an official prison ship, I think we should expect the worst." she said crouching down next to the body, poking him with two fingers, but the body didn't move, in fact it felt solid, stiff and Thalia frowned as she pressed her two fingers deeper into the shoulder of the body to roll them over.

Thalia contorted her face in disgust, seeing the burn of the blaster would and the dried blood that had oozed from the wound, it was clear they had died from their injury. "We're going to be sold as slaves." groan Thalia and turned back to look at Ash. "Ok, Jedi, get us out of here." she demanded.

Leon had fallen silent, listening to the guards conversation outside the cell. A Mandalorian Ranger? he thought to himself. While not unheard of they were a rare sight. At least he wasn't the only ranger on board. The two others that had awoken in his cell introduced themselves and Leon looked them both over before speaking up.

"Leon Terrick, Sector Ranger." He would say just loud enough for the other Ranger to hear. At first he wanted to be somewhat discrete about who he was but now knowing there was another Ranger as well as a Jedi, he felt a little bit better about saying who he was. The Jedi got shocked again by the color he wore and Leon shook his head. There had to be a way out of this mess.

"I have no intention on being sold as a slave so if anyone has any ideas on getting us out of these binders let's hear it." After that he begins to search through his pockets and trying to see if he had anything, or would get any ideas on how to get the binders off. The guards posed an issue, but if they could get free the four of them at least had a fighting chance. Slavery wouldn't suit Leon and he would rather die trying to fight his way out than be forced into servitude.

A lot of people did not like enclosed spaces. Even people without claustrophobia tended to express their avid frustration at imprisonment. But Roland just made a grumbling sound to himself as his head took in the area. The eyes behind his helmet followed the corners of the room looking for possible escape routes. But he did not find any. Casually his focus returned to the noise of the cell across the hallway.

He heard the young woman express her distrust of the ship they were on. Roland could not blame her. It was not in the best condition. But people often did not realize that prison was not meant to be comfortable or pleasant. Lackluster facilities, budget cuts, if this was an official vessel it was poorly maintained and probably staffed by people just as crude as those they had in the cells.

Roland could see one of the cell occupants look across at stare at him for a moment. It was not something new. But there was a look of recognition in his eye. Though it could mean he just realized he was a Mandalorian rather than anything else. Roland doubted he had made waves to be heard of in any specific way. But he realized why when he heard Leon's introduction.

"Sector Ranger Roland Rook..." He replied with enough volume for the others to hear. He thought to himself for a moment as he debated volunteering his method of escape. On one hand I think these guys are slavers or at the very least corrupt wardens. Eh, if it turns out they're legit I'll have an excuse. He thought to himself and brought his arm up to the door panel. A moment later the security spike built into his armor extended from its inconspicuous housing. A few twists and rotations came before the door hissed and opened.

Sticking his helmeted head out he looked up and down the hall first before crossing to the cell door. Extending the security spike again he stopped short of plugging it in. His helmet looked through the opening and looked at the man who claimed he was a sector ranger. There was no way he could verify it, yet aside from asking his badge number but that was not iron clad anyways. He would stick the security spike in anyway and begin unlocking the door. "What's your badge number Leon?" There was supposedly a Jedi inside the cell too. The Mandalorian would be lying if he said he wasn't curious. His hooded helmet turned from side to side, double checking either end of the hall while he attempted to liberate apparently would be slaves.

Ash, chained up, electrocuted twice, disarmed and largely immobile slowly looked up at the girl in front of him with a genuine look of derision. "Girl, I'm going to go out on a limb and say something happened to you to make you this stupid, so I won't hold against you." He jingled and jangled his chains, "I'm a bit tied up at the moment, so why don't you help me out of these quite shocking chains and then I might be able to figure something out." He continued to rasp unkindly.

He wasn't really in the mood for being polite at the moment, as it was apparently unknown to his new companions, he was in quite a bit of pain. Now, theoretically that wouldn't be a barrier to a force user if you wanted to go wandering down the path to the darkside. Ash didn't however, so he would have to be content waiting for someone else to do something heroic. Or you know, escape slavery by some other method.

He continued to take deep breaths, calming down a little before he shot what he hoped was an apologetic look at Thalia. His stress, while in his mind perfectly warranted, it was not necessary for him to project that onto others. He was usually quite a nice person when he wasn't in pain, at least that's what he told himself.

The ranger who had introduced himself as Leon was also just as eager to get out of this place, however, instead of focusing on a way to escape, the girl turned back to the Jedi. Her eyes flashed with fire as he inquired about her intelligence and Thalia stepped toward him as he continued until she was practically over the top and leaned down just slightly, "I wouldn't hold it against you either," her fist hooked him in the jaw in response. She stepped back shaking out her hand feeling some satisfaction in showing him just as much insult.

However, she knew that was going to leave just as a mark on her hand as it would his cheek. Thalia turned as she heard someone ask for a badge number and she glanced between the window and the ranger in there with them. She looked back at the Jedi, noting how pitiful he looked and wondered if such legendary heroes were not as hero-y as some believed to be. As she waited for the rangers to finish their exchange, she searched herself for any tools that were not discovered in her abduction. Luckily, the inner seam of her trousers had not been revealed to hold a couple hair pins.

She held one up for the Jedi to see, "Am I still a stupid girl to you?" she asked him.

Leon straightened up slightly when he heard the hiss of a door opening. A moment later the Mandalorian stood at their cell door looking in on them from behind his helmet. He had identifed himself as a Ranger, one Roland Rook. Nodding his head toward the Ranger, Leon awnsers him.

"Leon Terrick, Badge 1911, Arkanis Sector." He responds, glancing at the other two in the cell with him. A snarky remark from the Jedi lead to a sound blow dealt by the young woman. He sighs to himself and shakes his head and then rises to his feet. "Cut it, you two. No sense fighting each other. Don't know about you two, but I have been brought here against my will, so I'm sure there'll be a fight getting out of here. We have no idea where we are, where we are going or who took us. Let's fight them? Yeah?" He speaks to them before turning back to Roland and jingling his chains at him. While it was true, Leon hadn't the slightest where they were or who took them, but at least he had another Ranger. Between the two of them if nothing else, he was sure they could get their freedom back.

Roland leaned to the side to look around Leon at the two treating the space prison like it was a jail cell in Little Kashyyyk the day after life day. "I think they have the loading and armory towards the aft. Of course that's what a legitimate prison ship would do. If this ain't legit then..." He turned his helmeted head towards the direction of the bridge.

The door lifted between them and he stepped back towards the middle of the all to look towards the for the fore of the ship. "If any of you find my blaster and badge you better tell me." He warned and began walking at the front of the group. His legs slightly bent and making sure he was not making noticeable noise. Mandalorian armor, while fairly mobile, could be noisy if moving carelessly.

His hands felt empty. Roland did not like having something in his hands when it came to a serious situation like this. If they were all enslaved then that would explain the lack of due process he had received so far. The hands flexed into fists while he wondered what he might see down the next hall, ready to signal behind him if he saw something.

Thalia tossed the pick down in front of the Jedi, leaving him to think about how he would reach the tool that was just out his reach..and to decide if another shock was worth the effort to get it. She turned to look at the Ranger who had entered their cell, her brow narrowed as she tried to decide if this guy was legit. However, if he was and she was wasting time to an opportunity to get out, she was signing her own death sentence.

"I need some weapons..." she said following Rolland out of the cell, seemingly less concerned about being seen as he crouched just slightly as he came to a corner. Thalia looked up and down the hall, trying to decipher what type of ship they were being held on and if they even had a chance of getting off. Things were quiet now, but if the owners of this ship were any vigilant, they would make checks on these cells; after all they were profits, losing any of them would hurt their business.

Thalia walked passed Roland, the halls clear for now as she continued toward the back of the ship. She glanced over her shoulder, "C'mon, need a little hustle Ranger." she told him in a hushed voice.

Roland grunted as Thalia passed and was about to reach for her wrist and pull her aside when a blaster bolt flew by his head. The Mandalorian pressed himself against the bulkhead as a gut reaction. Several other blaster bolts flew through the air where he had been standing before.

Underneath his helmet he gritted his teeth both in frustration of getting shot at and the series of events that probably could have been prevented. Well they're not using stun bolts so definitely not official. His finger tips grazed where his blaster would be before clenching into a frustrated fist.

The blaster bolts stopped a moment but he could tell they were ahead of the two. Leaving the bulkhead he activate his jump boots and closed the distance. Reeling back mid jump he let lose with a ruthless punch across the guard's face. Another was immediatly to his left and frantically tried to turn his blaster rifle on the Mandalorian. But Roland would drop in time for the first bolt to go over his helmet by just a few centimeters.

She felt herself jerk backwards when Roland grasped her wrist and pulled her back, narrowly missing the blaster bolt that flew past where she was previously standing. "Should have hustled a lot faster." she grumbled, getting her footing back as she pressed herself against the wall. She instinctively reached for her blaster, but remembered it had been confiscated when she was imprisoned on this ship. This was really not the ideal situation, it may have been better to wait until they landed.

However this Ranger seemed to have more experience in situations like this and he took the initiative, leaping from his position and attacking the guards head on. Thalia kept close against the wall, listening to the cracks and throws from the Ranger and took a deep breath in before looking around for herself and felt her instinct push her to move.

As he cracked his fist against the jaw of one guard, he dropped his weapon and Thalia slid on her knees along the floor, grabbing the rifle and firing two bolts into the unprotected center of the guard who fired on the Mando. He fell and Thalia rose, seeing the other guard stir and the girl slammed the butt of the rifle to his temple, sending the guard unconscious once more.

"Weapons!" she whispered excitedly, waiving the rifle.

The guard Thalia had fired on dropped with some fresh holes in his body. Roland plucked the blaster out of the air before it hit the ground turning in time to bring up an armored forearm and block a hook from the one he had struck. The Mandalorian did not get to retaliate with a strike of his own though because the blond woman knocked him out with the butt of her rifle.

He checked the charge on the blaster to make sure he had ammunition. Thalia seemed ecstatic about finally having a weapon in her hands. His cross visored helmet looked at her for a moment. She's a feisty one alright But she was also on the reckless side.

Roland grunted in response before turning to head towards the bridge. It was not too far but after the shots there were either more on the way or dug into the rooms. He switched the blaster to stun and fired a shot into unconscious body of the guard.

"I'm taking point." He stated firmly, not wanting Thalia to run ahead again and get herself shot nor cause any other hiccups. heading down one short hallway he turned in time to see the door to the bridge close with a slight hiss. Movement behind the small view port in the door made him pull back into cover. "Bridge is at the end of the hall. Doubt they'll open the door to shoot at us but...keep your eyes open" There could be more guards coming from behind.

Without further hesitation he kept his blaster raised and swiftly headed towards the far end of the hall. The door did not open but he saw the eyes of someone staring back from the view port again before moving out of the way. Roland moved to the side of the bulkhead. The security spike in his armor extended before he plugged it into the access panel.

She's a feisty one alright...

Thalia shrugged, "I guess I can be..." she said, not realizing where the voice originated. She doubled checked her own acquired blaster rifle, making sure it was still good to use as the Mandalorian Ranger decided to continue onward to the bridge. Thalia decided though she was going to keep a more watchful eye for anything that would alert them to danger. As the Ranger fired a stun bolt into the thug, he turned to Thalia, directing he would lead them. The girl shrugged, but it was more of her conceding to his orders.

She followed behind him though as they neared the bridge of the ship, she stopped as he did to peek around the corner before turning back to explain all but his plan. Thalia frowned as he made his way to the door of the bridge, using some device to override the controls of the door to the bridge. She didn't move, but instead waited, peeking again, she saw a pair of eyes looking out and she frowned, knowing they would not have the element of surprise. She readied her blaster rifle, holding it close to quickly aim and fire at anyone who came out to stop them.

The door opened and it was quickly followed by blaster fire, flooding the hall with blaster fire. Thalia kept her position, but dropped to her knee and returned blaster fire, hoping it would suppress enough for the Ranger to get an upper hand on the slavers.

"uh huh" He said reflexively, not immediately registering Thalia had answered his internal monologue at first. He was a bit preoccupied at the moment.

Right before he unlocked the door Roland turned his helmet towards her and gave her look (despite his helmet) that he hoped she understood as 'hope you're ready' followed by a torrent of weapons being discharged. The Mandalorian stayed to one side as red blaster bolts flew past him and impacted against some part of the hallway behind them.

Once there was a lull in the trigger happy guards he came into view. Leg The blaster in his hands fired a stun bolt into the calf of a guard forcing him to lose stability and fall into view with a startled yell. Head The bluish circular stun bolt struck the man in the head causing him to collapse and cut off the cry forming on his lips.

Roland followed through with another. Two more blaster bolts from the Ranger were absorbed by another guard's chest. Her body mirrored the same actions as the other guard, ending with a heavy thud. If Thalia did not take out the other two on the bridge then chances were they would resume frantically suppressing fire to keep the Mandalorian at bay. Underneath his helmet Roland gritted his teeth. Getting shot at, even with a few centimeters of durasteel between himself and a blaster, did not make him feel relaxed.

As Roland activated the door and pressed forward, Thalia followed, taking cover and to make sure no one else got a cheap shot from behind. He was accurate in his shots, fulfilling the legendary status of Mandalorian warriors that Thalia heard from tales while growing up. She moved inside after Roland, he was taking care of those nearest, hitting him with a nonlethal stun. Thalia looked up at the bridge, seeing two more goons firing at the two intruders. Aiming, she fired several bolts, nicking one in the arm, but the other moved away, taking their focus on Roland.

Thalia kept on the one she had hit, they of course returned fire, but it wasn't accurate, it was panicked fire, looking to push her back. She took a deep breath in and exhaled slowly, feeling a calm as she aimed and fired, burning two holes into the chest of the thug before taking her focus to the other who seemed to have struck Roland. Several consecutive shots later, he fell over the railing with a thump onto the floor.

She gasped, not realizing she was holding her breath and stood up, quickly looking around, her rifle still raised and ready to fire.

"I think we're clear." she said heading to the controls of the ship, trying to find some indication of where they were floating.

Even with besker, gettiing hit still hurt. Roland grunted after Thalia took care of the last crew member. His breathing began to immediatly calm and his other senses stopped being in a fight or flight mode. The first thing he noticed was the smell. Burnt organic matter and discharged blasters filled his nose. It was a familiar scent.

"Allow me." He said as he came up behind with his computer spike extending from his forearm again. The following moments would consist of the Sector Ranger slicing into the navicomputer before beginning to look through the information there.

"Yup...karkin slavers. I don't know any legit prison ship that's headed towards Hutt space." His helmet turned to look at some of the bodies. Some of them were in very casual clothing and far from standard regulation allowed. He walked back over to the door and locked it behind them just in case more were on the ship. "I'm going to call this in." He said and moved over to the communications terminal.
