You know I just had a thought, it was probably already addressed but ill voice it anyway. Is there still going to be an Oyu'baat and proving grounds sub forum or is each clan going to have their own version once they all split?

The Mandalorian faction board will cease to exist, so individual clans will have to role-play in the same fashion as all the other indies do. In other words, they'll have to use The Story forum.

There is a reason why the downgrade is happening. Admittedly, this is my own opinion but I think it's shared.

We became -too- powerful as a faction. And yes, this is a bad thing. The IC power to player ratio for our faction was obscenely one way in terms of balance. Best ships, best guns, best armour etc. Having the Mandalorians revert to their Galactic Civil War era ways, that of a number of independant clans doing their own thing, is ultimately best for us in the long run.

There's nothing stopping us from reuniting under a new Mandalore, but that will be a long ways off. Might not even happen in this timeline ever again, who knows. For now, with a lack of Mandalore and a general downgrade in IC power and status to what, IMHO, Mandalorians should never have strayed from in the first place, will give us more freedom.


And more freedom means more chances for good old fashioned ultra-violence.

I would like to stress though that while this may seem like a kick in the teeth, it really isn't. We'll be better off in the long run and there'll be plenty of room for amazing Mando-centric stories. I still have a few myself I hope to put out for everyone to play in, regardless of clan.

It will be interesting to watch how the Clans go on without the Mandalore.

I had a story arc planned for the Mandalorians to have fun with post time skip, it'll only need a few little tweaks because of this. Should be fun. :)
