Matal Canun was dumped out of the big hovercraft, he could see his opponent having the same experience as himself. But this was Bith Duel Arena Network for you, they paid decent enough and you got to not die. Perfect combination in anyone's book. Canun was going to wait and see if his enemy would come to him, all the while flicking insults at him.

The arena wen dark, Gaius rolled hie eyes at the theatrics, but that was the arena and it wasn't everyday that a Allience Sargent entered in the tournament. Gaius jumped around a bit as he was being announced


"Ladies and gentlemen on leave from the war with the Empire, a veteran soldier! hailing from the Blue Wing of the 44th Orbital Drop Shock battalion, Sargent Gaius XYloooooona!" he got some cheers mostly from his fellow troopers that were on leave. Gaius jumped form the hatch onto the arena floor, instantly he could hear the tribal chants from his brothers in the stands, it fed him to a point, he was more interested on his opponent, today it looked like he would fight a dragon.

Cracking his neck Gaius broke into a slow trot towards his opponent, then to a slight jog, and finally into a full sprint. has he got to his opponent outer circle, she stopped and dashed to his left looking for an opening he would be patient.

The 2.3 meter tall Ssi-ruu charged down from the top of his hill, using his forward momentum to add power to his claw strike. As he charged two tongues lunged out sensing the air and locking onto the soldier's scent, he could tell that Gaius was calm.

Gaius looked to his right to see his opponents huge claw, he fell to his knees and slid as best he cold under the strike, a screeching sound could be heard as of the the creatures claws skimmed his Armour. As Gaius had slid past the strike, she sprung himself off his knees. Gaius took a brief moment to rub along the gash on his Armour, he smiled at the thought that this would be a real challenge. Gaius sent a powerful push kick to what he thought was his opponents knee, reloading back to his center, he waited for the fast creatures next move.

Matal's skin was hard enough to resist blaster-fire, but with his own massive momentum he found the strike enough to trip him and roll him across the ground. Several rocks tugged at his scale, ripping the skin connecting it to his body. His belly and back were running his blood, his tongues springing out searching for the human's smell. They found it and Matal's blurry eyes fixated on a silhouette. He struck the grown repeatedly, almost five hundred kilograms of force pounding away. His attempt was to try and make his opponent fall.

Gaius was fast but he wasn't as fast as a shock wave, all he had time to do was, brace for the coming impact. The very ground he stood on cracked, he was fine, but his ankle was caught in the destroyed ground, "well that's unfortunate..."he said sarcastically as he looked on to his hulking opponent.

 

[Buddha C]

The beast was walking, his wounds pulsing with a dull pain, towards the man. Scattered pebbles jumped at his every step. "What'll it be today?" He spoke with a large lisp, a smile took ground on his face exhibiting big dinosaur-like teeth. His question was in effect a request of surrender, or else the situation would rapidly deteriorate.

Gaius Struggled for a second and stop to look up at the glorified dinosaur, "I'm a soldier of the galactic alliance, So I don't really know how to give up.." With a loud scream Gaius pulled his leg out of the rubble, the slab of concrete which had him pinned was lifted every so slightly freeing him, the slap now pointed up the other way,Gaius used this to propel his next attack,a flying knee directed at the ugly brutes scent tongues, it would make it easier to move around him, and hurt like a bitch, so in his mind it was win win. falling to the ground he fell into a combat roll turning around in a slide to see if his attack hit.

The knee had forced Matal's teeth against his tongue, while falling short of tearing them off completely it still served to scar and leave them further unusable. Without his sense keeping contact with the enemy was difficult. He was able to spot him two feet out of range so he lunged fully, extending his sharp claws first. The blurry image became clearer and clearer as it neared.

As the claw lunged at him, he tried to catch it, this went well for about five seconds, then the beats strength began to push him back while digging into the Armour under his shoulder. he had to redirect the blow or else he might puncture a lung, twisting the creatures wrist he directed the blow through leverage away from his body, unfortunately it took a plate of armor with it. Gaius rubbed the tri weave mesh that used be be hidden under a plate and rolled his eyes, the Alliance always sold heir Armour contracts to the lowest bidder. not letting up he ran back at his opponent screaming charging into his next attack.

The soldier's attack was able to level the beast, though he quickly rose his bearings were shot to frack. He swung his arms wildly, if he took the time to find his opponent with his poor eyesight the enemy could take advantage of that respite. The wounds on his scales kept bleeding, milking him of his life fuel slowly.

 

[Darius]

Gaius could see his opponent staggering, he knew that this was his chance to finish this if he was fast enough, as he entered the creatures inner circle he has having some issues blocking all of his swings, he blocked about two the next would hit him dead in the face sending him directly to the ground, he quickly got up to his feet trying to shake of the blow, he then charged with all his might into the red body of his opponent, trying to capitalize on his last move.

His opponent's ferocity was admirable, so admirable in fact Matal didn't expect him to get up after Matal's blow had landed. That pause, that mistake, let his human foe near and land a volley of blows against his eyes, groin and face. Seething with pain the beast, whilst his opponent continued inflicting blow after blow against him, smashed his fist on the ground. Using what little bit of energy he had left he would try to knock the enemy off his balance, and then grab his legs and beat his body against the ground until he surrendered. If this didn't happen... The fight would be effectively over.

 

[Darius]

With the smashing of the floor Gaius lost a few inches from his former vantage point, he was now on one need looking up at the sharp teeth of his opponent, he was vulnerable, could see the creatures arms coming at him, if he got a hold of him more than the fight would be over, he had to act now. Gaius sent one last kick to what he though would be his opponents ribs, in an attempt to knock him off balance, using he momentum he would push the beast onto his back using his forearm to push the long maw upward, he then drove his knee into the side of the beats neck to cloak it brain of blood, this is were his Alliance Armour would be tested, as she could feel the talons of the beast inches away from his spine, with a scream he pressed his knee in further, hoping to knock him out before such a chance could be exploited. Gaius was encouraged by the chants started by his brothers "loch'Knaa!loch'Knaa!" Tap out in standard, Gaius only hoped he was so lucky.

The beast was killed by the soldier's manuever, his claws breaking through his armour but not going very skin deep.
