NAME: Pidgelle “Pidge” Batana

FACTION: Five Syndicates

RANK: Scoundrel

SPECIES: Twi'lek

AGE: 20 Standard Years

GENDER: Female

HEIGHT: 5’5”

WEIGHT: 126 lbs

FORCE SENSITIVE: No

APPEARANCE:

Pidge is an average sized young twi'lek woman weighing 126 lbs and being 5’5” tall. Her skin is teal and her lekku are freckled with deeper blue pigmented spots. She has one visible scar along her left lek left from a speeder accident. It is a handbreadth long and the scar tissue is much paler than the rest of her skin, almost white. She carries herself confidently with a fast stride and is frequently seen in basic Coruscant clothing with a hooded shawl and cargo style pants.

ATTRIBUTES:

Pidge is fresh, naïve, but not stupid. She believes in things that are too good to be true. She trusts people unless they give her a reason not to, and she sees the galaxy as her oyster. She knows little of trickery, evil intent, slavery, and the many more gruesome ills of her home planet’s underworld. Pidge is also curious without limit. If there is something that strikes her fancy, she will grab it by the neck and shake it until all the information falls out. This means she is frequently perceived as nosy, as she asks a suspiciously large amount of questions. Information is her most deadly weapon and therefore she seeks it out with all she can. Her obsession with any interesting or valuable information, however, is not just a flaw, but also a blessing. She generally knows quite a bit about any topic she has “researched”, say enough to find its strengths and flaws, and to know all the gossip. If information becomes harder to come by, Pidge uses alternate methods to acquire it. She is a talented slicer and computer operator, able to tamper with simple codes very easily and moderately complicated codes somewhat successfully. Her unremarkable appearance physically means that she is rarely immediately viewed with suspicion. In fact, she blends flawlessly. She uses this to her advantage as she is not trained in combat besides basic self defense, and can only wield a blaster very shakily.

PERSONALITY:

Those who know Pidge most frequently describe her as passionate. When focused and working, she knows no need for sleep or food or interaction. She becomes obsessive and is very goal oriented, her curiosity making her explore every possibility. If she is not completely devoted to a cause at a given moment, she is eager and friendly. Although some may find her a bit too nosy and forthcoming, Pidge genuinely cares deeply about those who she knows or used to know. She grows strongly attached, even as people change. She acts entirely different around people than she does around tech. With tech, every move is calculated, exact, and efficient, while with other beings, she can ramble constantly with her questions and tangents.

BIOGRAPHY:

Pidge was fortunate enough to have grown up on the levels of Coruscant where the sky could be glimpsed. She was raised by father and frequently went to his place of work, a bacta medical processing facility, as he had no one to watch her. Wandering the sterile glass halls of the seemingly maze like plant instilled a sense of great interest in the vast and unknown. If bored, Pidge would go to one of the monitoring stations and play with the programs used to maintain the sterility of cereal bacta or the temperature of the vac tubes. When she was 17 standard years old, a large pressurized tank exploded, causing a chain reaction with the thermal reactors and destroying the facility. Her father injured in the accident, Pidge had to support herself and him by working a night shift at a nearby medbay. She worked as a data analyst, putting together treatment plans based on survival statistics for beings that had life threatening injuries, mostly from speeder crashes. However, she felt she could use her tech skills to make a reputation for herself elsewhere, especially as the power of the syndicates in the core was growing.
Due to her prowess in slicing, Pidge earned herself a seat in Zeno Droid Tech, employed by Zentripoli. She was also brought into the Mothkari family, a very influential Crymorah Syndicate family.

SKILLS:

Pidge’s greatest asset is her ability to get into things. She is a talented slicer, having spent much of her childhood bored at her father’s workplace, she investigated the computers. After years of trial and error, she can corrupt and access most loosely secure computers and data pads. If given the opportunity to tamper with an unfamiliar piece of tech, she will take much more time figuring out the best way to get into the system, but will likely be able to do so, especially with the aid of spikes. In her teen years, Pidge was also an apprentice at a local medbay treating emergency trauma. She learned to use complex logging databases and to code in another computer language. Due to her time around technology, she understands the auditory form of binary used by droids. She also sells tech on the holonet at this location.

Although most of her most impressive skills lie in the field of tech, Pidge alsowas trained in triage and first aid. She knows how to treat minor injuries as well as how to keep a person alive until help arrives. She is perceptive, always listening for pertinent information to a topic she is looking into. Through her time spent reassuring badly hurt patients and trying to put together their stories, she is good at talking to people and slowly extracting opinions and details.

GEAR:

Lower Face Mask (with com link)

Blaster Pistol

Technician’s Vest

Datapad

Several Medpacks

RELATIONSHIPS:

Pidge’s closest relationship, or atleast the one she works the most for, is the one between her and her father, Hyn Batana. He is her mentor as motivation to live her life to the fullest. She has been in a few romantic relationships, one with a human woman who stole a large sum of credits and disappeared, then returned later and asked for more money. Being head over heels in love, Pidge couldn’t refuse. Although now all she feels for the woman, Aaura Dim, is contempt, she still has trouble setting relationship boundaries and will loan her money if need be, sometimes to her own detriment. Pidge hopes that in working for the syndicates, she will meet new, more loyal friends.

DROIDS:

L4D, an R-PK droid that follows her around and scans for the safety of environments. He is a bit overly friendly and gets very excited when asked to analyze or record data. (Formerly. Pidge has recently gotten news her companion is beyond repair).
She had recently purchased an R4 unit, R4-T6, who she lovingly calls Rat.
