BIOGRAPHY

Camdrir Marvus was born to Adrire and Pilidra Marvus. Adrire is a world-renowned scientist, pushing the boundaries of genetic research, while her wife, Pilidra, is a high-ranking official in the Thustran military. Camdrir themselves took after Adrire, much to Pilidra’s disappointment. But, Pilidra was able to share something with Camdrir. She and Camdrir bonded over fixing and/or breaking down retired speeders and starfighters from the military. Pilidra taught them all she knew about welding, circuitry, engines, and hyperdrives.

As they grew, Camdrir became fascinated with the cosmos, spaceships, computers, and the Physical Sciences. With her mothers’ approval, and Pilidra’s influence, Camdrir was given the best education possible. They excelled in Coding, Engineering, Astrophysics, and Theoretical Physics. Camdrir has spent most of her adult life expanding her education, earning the equivalent of a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Astrophysics, Theoretical Physics, and has just finished her doctorate in Computer Science. Their dissertation was an AI program they designed and coded themselves, named Gabriel.

In between earning their different degrees, Camdrir works on a large freighter as an engineer. They earned their nickname, 42, on their first voyage for repairing 42 different engine failures in the month it took the freighter to get to its destination. Now that they’ve just finished their first doctorate, Camdrir has decided to put themselves out into the galaxy as an engineer or slicer for hire so that they can pay off their 654,000 credit student loans.

Personality

Camdrir was born curious. As soon as they could crawl, they were exploring the home in which they were raised. Their parents often described them as 'Too curious for their own good,' whenever said curiosity got them in trouble. This curiosity led to Camdrir wanting to everything about what they were interested in. Unfortunately for them, this led to a student loan debt that banks can only dream of. Camdrir likes to think that they'd be able to stick to their own personal morals, but to be honest? If someone were to offer to pay off their debt, the list of things they wouldn't do is surprisingly short.

Skills

In theory, Candrir is an excellent slicer. Their doctorate in Computer Science is the accomplishment that they are most proud of, mostly because it resulted in Gabriel. But, they haven't actually done any slicing in the field, so they could be considered a rookie just form inexperience alone. The skills that they have tested in abundance is their ability to repair a ship. They've worked on any type of engine from a starfighter to a large freighter. They are trained in how to use most forms of firearms thanks to their mother, but it's been years since they've actually had to pick one up and fire it.
