Lissa still wasn't quite used to the concept of jungles and forests. Growing up on Nar Shadda, all you knew were brights, big cities, endless noise and chatter. Even the farmlands of Dantooine had some activity, but this place?
Silence.
If she closed her eyes, she would swear she could hear everything for a mile in any direction; the rustling of leaves, whistles in the wind, the monkey-lizards and ape-lizards frolicking in the trees, her own thoughts etc. Not that it was uncomfortable, it was indescribably blissful, but there was something about her polar opposite background that made her inwardly tense a little. Normally a lull in noise meant you were about to get a blaster bolt in the head, which could still happen here given the mission.
Kowak was once home to shipyards that were built by the Zann Consortium, but they were destroyed a long time ago. Despite that, the skeleton of the structure remains, and the ISC wants them. Unfortunately, pirates and criminals have banded together around the ruins to try and rebuild what was previously destroyed, so now it fell to her and her partner for the job to do a little cleaning, as it were. She had descended from the opposite side of the planet to the shipyards and made her way to within a mile of the compound, staying low and landing in a small clearing. The Purple Rose should've gone undetected, but just in case, she was waiting by the boarding ramp, weapon in black hand.
She had access to her full arsenal: her E-11D Rifle nestled beneath her armpit, her EC-17 holstered at her hip next to a freshly sharpened Vibroknife, and two grenades clipped to her belt, juuust in case. She'd already secured her Blast Vest too, so it was just a case of waiting for her partner now...
