Villains Beware

Ithor-680x684.jpg

Ithor was once a paradise consisting of beautiful jungles and numerous species of flora and fauna. The diabolical Sith ruined that however, burning the world from above on the order of Darth Solum. The bombardment reduced the world to a mere echo of itself, ruining countless ecosystems and driving many species to extinction. The natives, the peaceful Ithorians, also suffered greatly, their great floating cities struck down coldly, and their people murdered. At this time, the injustice was only the latest in a string of brutal attacks and terroristic action, but it grabbed the attention of the galaxy like never before, existing since then as a monument to the Sith's war machine and their limitless capacity for harm.

No longer! Much time has passed since that day, and the smallest hints of life have begun to return on Ithor's surface. It is but the most meager of growths, and true recovery may never be possible, but it is a sign. We the Jedi shall act now, to protect this growth and save the Ithorian people. Together, we shall construct a new monument, a beacon of hope and freedom for all to see, and we shall show once again, that the Sith can be beaten. Go now brethren, to your ships and take flight, for we today we take the first steps towards a free Ithor!

Note: These missions are critical to the Jedi’s war efforts. Please start the mission within 48 hours, and try your best to complete the mission within 2 weeks. If the mission is abandoned or uncompleted this will deeply affect the faction. If you need a replacement partner contact the leadership team. The missions need to be 15 posts long, with multiple paragraphs in the post.

Man Cannot Kill Sith On Bread Alone

There are quite a few resistance groups on Ithor, brave citizens one and all, trying to stand up to the Sith menace. Unfortunately, they are poorly supplied at best, and lack sufficient weaponry to deal serious damage. To remedy this, we have decided to, obviously, send them weapons! We've made contact with one of the larger rebel cells, and have successfully smuggled quite a few weapon crates to the surface. Sadly, they still have a ways to go before being able to blast Imperials, and are currently sitting in a heavily patrolled urban area. Get down there and escort those boxes to their destination. Oh, and be careful of any surviving wildlife. From the reports we've heard, they've not taken well to the environment change and have started attacking sentients for food.

Sellout Takeout

Our contacts from the surface have discovered something truly appalling, a traitor exists amidst the rebel cells, and he has been supplying the Empire with information. We know he is an Ithorian named Aamaw and is marked by a large blaster scar on his back. Unfortunately, we have been unable to make contact with the cell he is infiltrating, and they are unaware of their "comrades" true allegiances. He MUST be stopped, before he deals irreparable damage to the war effort. We have sent you the coordinates for the cell's current location, do what must be done.

A Blow for Justice

After weeks of study, the Council has finally decided on an optimum plan of attack. The target landing zone, however, is currently occupied by a small Sith outpost placed specifically to notice and prevent any invasions. Its anti air guns are especially troubling, and heavy casualties are assured if that base continues to block our way as is. Gather a small strike team and remove the problem, preferably with some semblance of secrecy. It would be a shame if the Empire were to catch on to our plans for the future and spoil them. Be warned though, we have reports of possible Sith stationed at the outpost.

The mentally unstable Darth Solum left a small portion of Ithor unmarred to allow the Ithorian to appreciate the full breadth of the destruction. Ithor served as a message to galaxy of Solum's psychotic nature. Slowly Ithor has have grown more viable, but still that small portion remains the only 'safe' area on planet. Unsurprisingly, this is where the Sith have set up shop on the Ithor. The Jedi Army has launched a full scale assault on the Imperial base. The Army has landed in a secure location in which to begin their assault. Once the base falls the Imperial presence should be firmly diminished.
